I've been here a good 4-5 times now. Convenient and cheap. Monday $1 tacos: good for a cheap late night snack. Lines get very long so try to come earlier. Tuesday pupusas deal: I LOVE pupusas and was really happy to find that antojitos sells them. They're delicious and worth checking out. I believe they're about $2 on Tuesdays. Wednesday crazy burrito deal: Their crazy burrito is $9 on Wednesday. I've never tried the crazy burrito but have tried the super california burrito. Tasty but very greasy

Great low key burrito spot near SJSU if you don't want to wait for Spartan tacos! The first time we came here, we got the super burrito with Cabeza which was very juicy, slightly greasy, but hit the spot for late night munchie cravings. "It's the best burrito I've ever had!!" as quoted by my bf. He loved it so much that we came back a second time a few weeks later. For our second time, we came Saturday night earlier around 8:30pm. Seemed like the place just opened. There were only a few people ahead of us, but they do take about 20 minutes to make the order since there's not many cooks in the truck vs the volume of orders. This time we ordered the super burrito with carne asada. It was still good, but my bf definitely liked the Cabeza better, probably because it was more greasy lol. However, the carne asada burrito felt a lot cleaner and still tasted great without all the Cabeza grease dripping all over the place! We will probably continue being regulars at this truck and Spartans as we like the burritos here, but still have yet to compare their tacos.

I usually come here on Mondays for their unbeatable $1.25 taco special. These are hands down the best tacos around San Jose! For the price, they're loaded with meat, bursting with flavor, and a solid 10/10. Their salsa is also amazing--nice and spicy. I highly recommend this place, especially since they're open until 3 AM, which is perfect for late-night cravings.

The food was sooo good ! The service was great ! Their salsas are spicy and very tasty. I went on a Tuesday when their pupusas are $3 and got some bean and cheese ones. Let me tell you they hit the spot ! Burritos are huge and the best part is they accept card. I'll be attaching the UPDATED MENU 4/2/24 It's outdoor seating under an overhang with lights and tables and chairs. In a parking lot , kinda easy to miss but worth the visit .

Unknown extra charged, be careful of this place guys
    Cathy M.

I don't mind paying extra if they would just let me know the correct amount instead of saying "it will be $18" and when I looked at my bank account, I was charged $20.04. Let's say even if tax was as high as 10%, it still wouldn't be the extra amount the place has charged me. Either they self tip or added extra charges without letting customers know. I was not going to write review of how dry the meat was and how little the topping was, but I couldn't stop myself from writing this because I don't want more people getting wrongly charged at this place. I really hope they fix this dishonesty and shadiness.

They put my tacos on the plate that they used for raw meat

If I could give it a 0 star I would this use to be a great place to come by and grab a taco but the costumer service should be everything and if we coming here once a week to grab at least 20 + tacos then we should be able to have enough salsa for them ! The ladies been so rude and taking it out on my food purposely getting my orders wrong , I ask them to separate my tacos if I'm getting 15 tacos why stuff it on one plate and then they will talk shit and act like I don't understand Spanish ! This place is going down hill and the quality is too

One of my favorite late night spots to grab tacos in Downtown San Jose! It's only a few blocks from SJSU if you're a college student and has plenty of seating for a large group of people ready to indulge in their fantastic pupusas, tacos, burritos, and more!

Everything was tasty and came in big portions The food came really fast The staff were very nice Open late And plenty of parking

Since there were only 35 reviews, I didn't think it would be that packed but it was PACKED packed. Great deals - $1 per taco on Mondays! With how crazy the prices are in the Bay Area, this is an absolute steal. There is going to be a wait since they're pumping out taco orders. Patience is the key to pure happiness. I got two tacos - 1 al pastor and 1 carne asada. For the price, amazing! Taco was packed with meat + cilantro & onions. I preferred the carne since it was quite juicy. All the sauce are pretty spice. Love the zing but if you're not a huge spicy person, get the orange sauce! Another bonus - horchata is only $2 for a regular. Super good since it's slightly milky and not chalky at all! Love it! Will be back if I'm willing to fight the crowds for such a great deal. They also have deals for pupusas AND burritos so I have to be back!

Super good! The pastor and asada both amazed me! I love the cheesy taco! It has meat cheese avocado and sauce on the side. It reminds me of a quesadilla but not as crispy. Definitely worth the try for sure. If you want late night food, then go here because they open until 3. My friends and I all enjoyed it a lot. Super good food.

Plenty of parking available since the restaurant is in a strip mall. It wasn't too busy when we got there, but then it started picking up. There was only one server working and she was really hustling to meet everyone's needs. Plus, she was friendly. I had the carne asada burrito, it was good but nothing over the top that made it stand out. My friend had enchiladas with mole. We were most excited about dessert and decided to share the churros and Tres leches. It was a nice touch that the churros and Tres leches did not come plain, a little pizzazz since they were both served with berries, whipped cream, and a cajeta style sauce. Both of the desserts were so good and a perfect touch of sweetness.

The service is not the best and you have to try hard to catch the servers attention. The food was better this time, but not as good as many other Mexican restaurants. It is not what I consider authentic Mexican food.

Unfortunately inflation and the economy has changed the prices and food sizes, but at least it still tastes good. Some of my favorites here over the years have been the salmon tacos, Esquites, Enchiladas De Camarone and suizas, and the bacon guac. I used to not bat an eye and order whatever I wanted, but now I do have to think a little bit more so that the bill doesn't get too high. This location has a super cute front patio, it's bright, light, and airy, transporting you out of San Jose and right to a vacation mode. Even though it's on a pretty busy road, the traffic isn't usually distracting. Parking in the area can be hard, there's a couple paralele spots and then it's all neighborhood parking on the side of the street with the restaurant. Across the street can be a little bit easier.

They have seating out front inside and in the back, but the place was pretty full. Nonetheless, we were seated quickly as we had a reservation. It is a good idea to call ahead and make one. The prices are high, but hopefully all their people are making a good living and the portions are enough for our appetites at least. I had the shrimp enchiladas, and my wife had the vegetarian tacos with a side order of scrambled eggs. There was nearly a mixup as the waiter thought we wanted to order an egg taco and that's considerably more expensive but we got it straightened out with the maitre D. We also shared a Paloma cocktail with which has a pretty color and delightful taste.

This made it so seamless to reserve here. Our group got there at opening and our table was ready and most of the group was already seated when we got there. Drink orders were flowing as the waitress caught up to me and I got a cafe de olla. We browsed the menu and the more I looked the harder it was to pick one thing. I ended up choosing chilaquiles with a bandera sauce and carne asada as the added protein. The rest of the table got all different types of dishes from carne en su jugo to birria to omelettes. While we enjoyed each other's company sipping on our cafecito I enjoyed the ambiance of the space. Nicely decorated for the holidays. Since it was opening time it wasn't as loud as I imagine it can get in there. The sun did shine on the faces of those facing the windows which was not enjoyable for them. There was no way to cover the sun either since it was coming in from the top windows with no shade. My food came out along with the rest of the plates and we went right in to enjoy them. My favorite chilaquiles was covered in the white sauce. The red and green were good but the white sauce was my favorite. The carne was cooked well but I could taste it wasn't marinated or lacked flavor. I didn't get a knife to cut the meat so it was very difficult to enjoy a piece with my chilaquiles. It was hard to cut with a butter knife. I thought it would be a piece of steak but it was a piece of carne asada. Eggs were scrambled and cooked well. The whole plate was filling, had flavor, and was a good portion. The cafe de olla had a good flavor but a tad sweet for my preference. The space in here is a vibe. A fun place to enjoy large gatherings. I came for breakfast but will update when I come back to visit for dinner. Bathrooms are clean. Staff was welcoming and efficient in taking care of our group. Hospitality was a 10/10. Parking in the am was a breeze but at prime time I can see it being a complete nightmare so plan accordingly. I enjoyed my visit and will come back to check out the dinner menu.
