We had the best experience here. We were camping close by and my boys wanted pizza for dinner. We decided to order and take it back to our RV. The waitress was very nice. The place was clean. We could see the prep area and it was clean. I was happy to see that they make their own dough. We ordered three pizzas and wings. The wings were a bit over cooked but the Pizza was Amazing. Pizza is excellent. Delivery is a bit slow (45 minutes usually) but we typically call ahead and pick it up since we are close by. Owner is almost always there and is a very kind person. Highly recommend for good pizza. read more

Quality, excellent value and good service make this our favorite pizzeria! We usually order the extra large pizza for just $16 which is the best deal here in St Augustine. My son eats for 2 days on the huge calzone which has an amazing amount of cheese. We travel from Elkton and pass at least a dozen others on the way to Antonios but it's worth the drive. read more

Veggie deluxe is absolutely fabulous!!! Simply put, the pizza just isn't good. On my first (and promise, last) visit, I ordered a single slice of a plain cheese. I always do that, because I'm a pizza snob, and if a single slice isn't good, the whole pie isn't gonna be any better. First of all, I asked how long the pie had been out of the oven, and was assured it had just been taken oit. (Don't want to be eating a dried out stale thing!). Ok, I decided to go for it-it was a generous sized slice, with an incredibly thin crust. Re-heated in the oven, I thought surely the bottom would have a nice crunch, and the cheese would be making love to the sauce...wrong, wrong,wrong! The dough actually was STILL doughy. ..how the hell could that happen? When i picked up the slice, the cheese didnt slide off, the end just broke off at the weight of the cheese clump. The cheese was certainly in heat, but couldn't find it's lover...neither could I. I like taking a little finger swipe of the sauce under the cheese to just savor the flavor...none to be had. Cheese was not the highest quality by any means, and not evenly distributed. Making it to the crust, made me think of my younger days when I would snitch some raw dough from our baker's mixer....didn't want that thought then! So...if there weren't soooooo many fails on this single slice, I'd cut them some slack and try it again, just to make sure. But naaah, not worthy. Came down for a wedding and decided to stop by this pizza place after the wedding. I ordered a steak and cheese but they didn't have steak. So I settled for the chicken sub instead. The price was cheap for the sub but I guess I should've known better . the most horrible sub I have ever tasted. took two bites, by the time I had my third bite. The chicken was not only rock solid but it was also burnt. Save your trip for the gas station food and just pick up something there. read more

My boyfriend and I ordered pizza and an order of garlic knots. First, we looked at the prices online, and they were completely different when we paid. Secondly, we live walking distance from Antonio's. We ordered our food and waited the 20 minutes the man told us it was going to take and walked to get our food. We got there and the man that told us it was going to be 20 minutes told us we had to wait another 20 minutes because they received a huge order.. I thought it was first come first serve. But we let it slide and waited for our food; little did we know, it took an extra 40 minutes to receive our food. As you can imagine, two college kids at night are extremely hungry and just wanting their food were furious. When we got home, instead of the 10 garlic knots they told us there would be, there was less than that... I will never eat here ever again and will gladly tell everyone I know to stay clear of Antonio's. read more

Four star pizza an calzones and an extra star for being open on Christmas Day! We watched them provide pans of food to the Fire Fighters and Police Department for Christmas dinner. Best calzone I have had since I left NJ in 1980. Crust crispy and light and ricotta and mozzarella in perfect proportion. Ordered the large and a small. The pizza is a nice thin crust, with just the right amount of pull in the dough. Great sauce and toppings. Very small footprint of the store itself, maybe 6 sets of tables. We ordered for pickup and it was unfortunately very slow. Waited and waited for our pickup. Maybe the workers could occasionally reassure customers that their pizza was coming up, or at least mention how much longer it would be. I really like this place because they do a lunch time deal with 2 slices of cheese pizza and a soda for around $5. The pizza is good (fairly thin crust, a good amount of cheese, and a tasty sauce) and the staff is very nice. It has a very casual atmosphere, which is fine with me. It's definitely a great place to stop for lunch after some time at the beach. Plus, it's right next Rita's, which is a great place to get a cone of frozen custard. I would definitely recommend stopping at Antonio's the next time you're near the beach. read more
