Portia loves the people at Apogee, not to mention the custom water bowls. Pretty cool!

Apogee has it all. Beer aficionado class beer. Great neighborhood, local watering hole feel. Live music, vinyl music night, trivia night, beer club, great audio/visual set up for sports and my personal favorite service - dog friendly and I mean very dog friendly and that's assuming your dog likes other dogs, people and kids. And the service is the best! Especially when Jen is working. Wink, wink...Love this place.

Great beers only Multiple award winners from the Great American Beer Festival that are on tap now. Belgians, Pilsner, ales, IPA and Lucy in the Rye (Saison) can each be your next adventure or Holiday in glass. Prost!

Tried a couple beers here and they were all great but my favorite was their blonde ale. There is a descent amount of seating inside but they also have a setup outside with cover. I didn't get his name but the guy working there had a great attitude and has energy for days. They have a space theme which looks pretty cool. They are dog friendly so you can bring your pup if you'd like to.

Great beer!!! Wouldn't expect anything else from a bunch of engineers. A great addition to the Pismo area happy they've settled into a spot that has seen a few breweries come and go. Think they are here to stay. Dog friendly and bring your own food. Indoors is great with a nice patio as well. Cheers!!

This is definitely one of my favorite places to hang out. You can't beat aerospace engineers brewing their own brews! You know they will do it right and they sure do!!! You can't go wrong with any beer. Atmosphere is chill and you can relax to local small bands in the weekends. The staff is all friendly and easy going. A brewmaster is almost always on site as well. You won't be disappointed with Apogees!

Great service. You can try the beer before you commit to a pint. Dog friendly inside and out.

    Beer flight... lots of variety!

Appreciated the nerdy space/sci-fi themes (my alter-ego The Audio Astronaut should play a gig there!), the small, cozy space, and the fact that they do taster-sized pours and flights (most of the breweries around here don't seem to!) I also appreciate that they do a variety of styles, including Belgian which is what lured me in to begin with... however, some of the flavor profiles are inbalanced and not quite right for the styles (the Belgians and saison lacked the bready yeast and fruity, spicy esters I expected)... the lighter, more traditional styles are better hete (the kolsch was pretty good.)

This is a small, cozy brewery with a solid menu of beers that'll have something for everyone.

More of an IPA guy, these are good, but their Belgians are great!

This was my 3rd time coming to Blast 825 Brewery and this time was the best…read more Tonight me and wifey went on a double date with some good friends and chose this spot specifically for the beer, food and of course the Dodger game that was on tonight. We ordered a BBQ chicken pizza which was surprisingly delicious and the wife ordered a beer. We sat in the bar area and I decided to go with the self pour option where they give you a card to tap a sensor and select any beer on tap to pour yourself. Me and a buddy of mine had some issues with a few of the self pour taps where we just believed they were out of beer and it also over charged us. I told a server about my single issue where it over charged me and he said he would take care of it but my friend had the worst of luck. 2/3 beers he attempted to pour were simply out. This was when Jess, our savior came to the rescue. When it was time to pay the tab, she comped both of our orders. Mind you, I had 4 beers. Guess what the total was? Yeah, $28. Paid for my wife's beer and our pizza and because I had a single complication with the beer self pour station, she comped the 4 beers I had as well as my friend's order. This is Grade A customer service and a reason why I'd return to Blast 825 Brewery, so shoutout to Jess! We all appreciate you.

Management, I am writing to express my frustration regarding…read moremy recent visit to your establishment. I will add that we have been frequent customers since day one. While I had high hopes for a good meal, the experience was significantly marred by several issues: Poor Service: We were largely ignored, with staff failing to address requests. The restaurant appeared severely understaffed, leading to incredibly long wait times for service. It took 25 minutes to be asked what we were drinking, and another 20 minutes for two beers to arrive Food Quality Issues: The food served was of low quality, specifically corn rib appetizer were ice cold , the tri-tip was very over cooked and was difficult to chew. My wife ordered the orcutt hill salad entree. The salad was missing two ingredients. Prosciutto and candied pecans. When asked about it the waitress said I will bring you some. She brought a cup of smoked ham, not prosciutto. She indicated that the kitchen was out of candied pecans. Don't you think that should be disclosed to the customer before ordering ? The salad was small, not an entree size. When we asked about seeing a manager, we got a bill with a neighborhood 15% reduction. When asked about that, I was told, that's all the manager is willing to do. Really ? I hope you take this feedback seriously to improve the experience for future guests. Sincerely, A Disappointed Customer

Wow, what an excellent local brewery! Looking for some…read moreevening bite after a late lunch and this place was nearby where we were staying, so gave it a walk to try it. Seemed to close early, 8pm, for a brewery, but I guess it's a quieter area. Arrived past 7, hoping we can still get food and we were still good for food and beer! Ms. Kristie was so efficient and friendly and awesome, hustling back and forth from reception to seating and dropping by to check on all the patrons. Like a one woman show! I went for the Peanut butter falcon since I like a good brown beer. The peanut butter was initially nice, but it kinda became tiring as the sips went along, since peanut butter seemed a bit much over the beer. Got wife the German Pilsner and that was excellent! Smooth with a hint of malty sweetness too! I am thinking maybe the Lawn Order blonde ale is probably going to be great as well, but too full from late lunch to consume more than one. For food, went with the birria melt and the salmon salad. Birria melt had some awesome authentic flavors to it! Kid devoured it with the consomme. I enjoyed a quarter of it, but too full, so worked out perfect since kid didn't want to share more either, lol. Salmon salad was perfect! Pan seared on both side for that wonderful crust yet tender goodness. Salad dressing with cherry and almond slices made this salad so enjoyable while staying lighter. Was not expecting such salmon from a brewery, excellent food here! Locals seem to love this place too until closing time I guess, since a group that seemed to be bar hopping arrived exceited when we got there too:)

My daughter had the Fish & Chips (yep, same amazing fries) and loved it, and my other daughter went for the cheeseburger. Everything was delicious and the portions were HUGE.
