Can I do zero stars? Raj came to our house to repair our refrigerator/freezer. Apparently he cut his finger in the process, and after he left, I found blood in the freezer, inside the ice maker, in the refrigerator section, on the outside of the refrigerator, on the kitchen counter, and on the kitchen floor. It is totally unacceptable for a service person to leave his bodily fluids inside the appliance that we use for food storage! Then, as we were wiping everything down with Clorox, the ice maker fell off in my wife's hand. We now have to have another service technician - definitely NOT Apple - come out and reinstall it. read more

The, I mean THE absolute worst customer service experience. Third company was subcontracted out by Frigidaire to come out to my community where I am the Community Manager to take a look at a leaking refrigerator that is new and still under warranty. I called them on 6/5 and they told me the earliest date they had was 6/20, which I thought was absurd, but I proceeded to explain this was a Senior Community, they had just moved in and this was a brand new refrigerator. He insisted that this was all that they had available. Here we are, finally, on the first date that they told me they had available and they are a no show at 3pm so I call to follow up and check the ETA for arrival and I am then told that someone tried to call and there was no answer, which was a total lie! They didn't need to call and I explained this when I submitted the request. On top of that I have no missed unanswered calls from them and when I tried to tie down the time of the call the gentleman that I spoke to only want to keep telling me that he will be here in the morning between 9a - 1p. If you do not HAVE to use them, don't. I have no idea how they are still in business. If I had not called them they may have never called me or showed up. They never even called to confirm the initial appointment, I had to call for that as well. read more

My experience with Apple Home Appliance Service was excellent! For a week I had been calling to get my dryer repaired with no success. The repair person returned my call immediately and came within a few hours my dryer was fixed. He was fantastic, professional and pleasant- and I will call him again for my future repairs. read more

Worst Scammers ever!!!! My cooktop quit working, Called kitchen aid and they set me up with Apple crap company. kitchen aid told me to pay the tech $125 but My Raj wants to charge me $175 to put my free covered under warranty parts. This is a two-parter but seeing reviews below, we had same experience with poor communication, especially unreturned phone calls. First, we had runaround with Electrolux who sent repair person #1 - they diagnosed, ordered part, then disappeared. So we're already out the trip charge from guy #1. Electrolux recommended Apple Home Appliance to install the part. We left two messages without any response, then Raj calls out of the blue weeks later, apologizing for not calling back. He came out and installed the part we had on hand in less than 20 minutes. So that was good, but he is expensive (and a know-it-all) but I still held onto his card. Second chance just this week when my oven went out. I called Apple and left VM. No reply. Sent a text, no reply. So went with DARS, who is fantastic, BTW. So, for two rounds of poor communication and failing to return messages plus high-priced repair for a super-simple job (thanks, YouTube), we rate Apple as "Could've been better." read more

Friendly person and amazing service!!! I called Raj regarding my refrigerator repair, he seemed very knowledgable and helpful. He gave us few instructions over the phone to follow till the time he took to reach us as we called him on a late Saturday evening. The guy promised to show up on Sunday morning and guess what! he did show up at 9:30am early Sunday morning. I was really amazed by his concern and sincerity. He fixed the refrigerator and took a nominal fee being a Sunday service. I really appreciate such hard working people. I am defiantly going to him for any further repairs and I also recommend him. read more

Was assigned to this company by fridgedaire for a come back appointment on a month old dishwasher. Fridgedaire told me they would be out and gave me dates and time range. On the day of the appointment I called and was told that the appointment was cancelled due to covid 19 and they are not taking any appointments. I asked them why no call and guy said he did not have our number. I then asked if Frigidaire knew he was not taking jobs.he told me that when the job gets assigned to them they can just reject them if they want to and not accept it. I then asked us he let Frigidaire know and he said no. I asked how does Frigidaire know then that he canceled the job or didn't accept it? He said he doesn't know but that he is not coming. I understand that this is dangerous times to be out doing repairs.Frigidaire has limited its services to emergency services only. If you are not going to commit to being one of their emergency service providers take your name off the list it's not fair to customers. Very poor business practices on behalf of this company. I also highly doubt that he didn't have my contact information because the last guy that came out had my name my phone number and my address everything. He even called me to tell me he was running late.I will add that he was being very short with me when I was asking questions for clarification.I assure you I was also in no way being rude I just wanted to know what the deal was as I rarely have appliance serviced. read more

I've used Apple Home Appliance Service for about 15 years. Reading some of the reviews here are quite disheartening. Raj at Apple has been the kindest, most trustworthy and fairest repair person I have ever used...PERIOD!!!. They have always responded to our house within 1 day (same day on some occasions). His prices are very fair. He has been polite, professional and caring. I have referred Apple to several friends and family members and always get great feedback once he completed their work. On the last call to repair an aging Maytag washer, I was told that it could be fixed (the motor finally gave out), but Raj advised that he felt the repair would be more than the value of the unit and it's time to just replace it. He did not charge for the service call. How many other repair companies would spent their time (and gas) making a service call and then not require a payment for coming out to the home.... PRICELESS!!! Over the years he has worked on the following appliances at our home: front loading washing machine, clothes dryer. refrigerator and today he came to work on our 36 inch gas range. I could not be happier with the work that Apple has provided. Based on my experience, sifting through reviews on Yelp and some other sites can be tricky. I saw the 1 star reviews and just had to laugh. They are so unfair that I was compelled to post this review If you are looking for a great appliance repair person, I suggest you give Apple a try. Terrible service and dishonest too. No stars. I have a Frigidaire (manufacturer of my washer) service contract and was given Apple's number to call for service. Apple said first available appointment was eight days later. Servicer came out and said it required a major repair, he would call Frigidaire to find out how to proceed and call me back the next day. He didn't call me back so I called Frigidaire, who said servicer reported that he couldn't fix the washer because he needed a helper but didn't have one. I called Apple, who said it would take at least two weeks to get the parts if they were available and anyway he was going on vacation. I called Frigidaire again, who said Apple reported that I had declined the repair! Two weeks after I first contacted Apple I finally had to call Frigidaire for the number of a different servicer. read more

I would rate Apple Home Appliance Service a ZERO but I had to pick one of the options so I went with one star. The serviceman came out and gave me a totally wrong/bad diagnosis after just a few minutes of inspecting my refrigerator. He then proceeded to tell me where I could buy a new refrigerator at a good price. I was doubtful about his diagnosis so I got a second a opinion. I didn't need a new refrigerator and the fix wasn't too expensive. Thank goodness I didn't listen to him and run out to get a new refrigerator. I can't say enough about the great service we have received from Apple Home Appliance. We have used them on two occasions during the last six months (once for our dishwasher and again for our dryer). Both times Raj responded on the same day, called to confirm his appointment, arrived when scheduled and had the part order and the problem fixed within 24 hours. His pricing is fair and he is now our go-to for any appliance problems. read more

A warranty service call was arranged by Frigidaire resulting in a visit by Apple Appliance Repair (Raj). I told Raj that the freezer would cool food only to about 10 deg. whereas the Frigidaire specs call for -6 deg as the lowest design temperature. In literally 5 seconds Raj opened the freezer door, touched the contents, and pronounced the unit to be "normal". This was the end of the service call. I had to prompt him to call the technicians at Frigidaire and tell them that the temperature was 10 deg. so that I had evidence to return the unit. He never independently checked the temperature and was not interested in checking other items such as compressor pressure, etc, to establish if there was a problem. He didn't seem to know the temperature specs for this refrigerator. Is this the quality of service technician you want to work on your refrigerator? read more

BEWARE! If you want to get screamed at, treated like you are ignorant, and yes, even laughed at, this is the place to call. I bought a new frig gas range from L'owes and was having problems with the installation. A plumber told me that there was a problem with the stove. Frig customer service sent me to this company. Raj, the person who I spoke with on the phone said that it would be a minimum $175 for him to come out "cause he don't get the money back from frig half the time"... I said "what?"..... I tried to describe the problem and he kept talking over me, saying "you want me to fix or not"! I said "no, I don't", and he literally, and loudly, laughed at me. I don't know how this person is in business! If frig recommends this person to you find ANYONE else to service it besides him. I'm going to personally do everything I can to make sure that Frigidaire knows just how bad this company/person is. Check out the BBB reviews. The reviews are AWFUL. Like the other reviewer said, I would give less than one if I could. We had a problem with our refrigerator. We called Apple and the first two times we called, we left messages on a voicemail that were not returned. Trying one more time. we were able to get a hold of a live person, Raj, who I think is the owner. He was going to send someone out today from 12-4pm. Being that it was a mid-week, we had to arrange for someone to come to our house and wait for the tech to show up. By 4:30, the tech had not showed. We never received a courtesy phone call to let us know they were cancelling. Since then, we have called both phone numbers listed on their website leaving messages, and have not received a return call. It is extremely unprofessional of a company, and to think that they are one of the service centers (the only one in Montgomery County, in fact) that are authorized to perform repairs to frigidaire appliances. Needless to say, we will be going elsewhere for our future repair needs and we would encourage others to do the same. read more
