    Mediterranean Kabobs
    Kelly R.

The food was wonderful, but the service wasn't. I got the mediterranean kabobs and it was absolutely fantastic. However, our waitress only came to our table twice the entire time and we waited 30 minutes after being finished with our food for the check. It was very frustrating, especially with how expensive it is. With that amount of money, I would expect better service.

Quick friendly service while lounging by the pool. There are TVs but they were not on while there. Our food was delish! Lucky the weather was perfect and although the pool was busy it wasn't loud. Live music on Sunday!

Open-faced Florida Grouper Sandwich with Chips

Great poolside restaurant with heaters and umbrellas to be comfortable in any weather. We came for lunch and had the Open-Faced Florida Grouper Sandwich and the Superfood Bowl which is a warm salad and I added Grouper in top. Both of our meals were delicious and very filling. The grouper was seasoned perfectly (although you can also order it blackened if you prefer). The fish was flakey and crispy on the outside, tender in the middle. If you have a gluten intolerance or allergy, they can leave the crispy wonton off of the salad The service was excellent. Heidi was so friendly and attentive. If you are looking for a relaxing afternoon meal, this place is convenient and tasty.

I was staying at the Waldorf so we stopped by this pool bar for some food and drinks. The menu is on the pricier side, but luckily we had a resort credit. The cocktail selection is great, and the drinks were delicious. Service was quick and our server was very attentive. The spicy tuna crackers were delicious, but beware they are extremely spicy! The bar is very close to the pool, so if you are looking for something quieter or more upscale j recommend the lobby bar.

Lobster and shrimp wrap with a side salad

Great place for a relaxing lunch! The ambience and poolside views are nice. Service is a bit slow and not as attentive and I would expect from a Waldorf restaurant. The lobster and shrimp wrap was delicious! The grilled cheese was very good too. I recommend this spot if you're staying at the hotel. It's very convenient for a quick bite or casual drinks.

Pool bar with a decent menu. Got here just before 8 and it took a while for anyone to even notice us. We had drinks and an elote. It was ok. Noting spectacular. A nice place to chill and have a drink.

Drinks: Guava me more (3.5 stars): If you like guava, get it, that's all it really tastes like. Nola mule (3 stars): The waiter said this was sour but it wasn't. Can't taste any pineapple, mostly the ginger beer. Food: Fire roasted chicken and prosciutto focaccia sandwich (4 stars): I would def recommend this! The bread is soft and the whole sandwich has a lot of flavor! Margherita flatbread (3.5 stars): The balsamic on top is great. Pretty good flatbread, just needs more basil! The kid's meals are pretty big. They come with a large cup of fresh fruit! Bonus points for the healthy side! Service: Service was great. They brought our food out to the fire pit so we could eat near the fire next to the pool! And our waiter kept checking on us which was nice since we weren't actually sitting in the restaurant, so we didn't feel like we were forgotten. The restaurant has tables but it's not really inside, it's open, no walls, but there is a roof to protect you from those showers.

This is the restaurant or snack shop that services the Waldorf pool. There is a ceilinged area where guests can "eat in" at tables or a bar, but servers also roam the pool decks and offer service throughout the pool complex. One day I got the Asian Chop Salad and added chicken. I found the salad's flavor a bit bland. The ginger dressing didn't do much for the ingredients; even the wasabi peas were not that noticeable. The chicken was large though, served hot and was good. Another day I got the Chicken Salad which is served with chips. This "sandwich" is served in a bread bowl. I had it elsewhere on the property and was able to get it as a wrap and I would advise that. The bread bowl isn't practical. The servers certainly are not pushy, which is nice. They don't interrupt you but once when you are laying by the pool. But this borders on being inattentive if you then decide later on you want something. Checking back an hour later even after an initial no would be okay. You actively have to sit up and find a server walking past to stop if you want something. When you do engage them though their service is friendly and efficient.

Salmon Caesar with medium rare salmon... Very well prepared for a pool side restaurant.

I decided to have a late lunch on a Monday... Around 1:45. There was plenty of seating available. I was greeted promptly by somebody that was not my server, but she gave me a menu and ensured that my server would be right over. She didn't seem to mind that I was all by myself and sitting at a four top. That's what I like about Waldorf Astoria hotels. They are really good at customer service. You can do pretty much whatever you want. They truly are here to make you happy as a guest. My server arrived almost immediately after she left. I ordered a salmon Caesar salad and a dogfish head flesh and blood IPA. The beer was served in a can, and I was brought a plastic cup along with it... Not my favorite way to drink a beer, but I understand that it's a safety thing because of the pool deck. The be was refreshing, and I would order it again. It was so hot that I was daydreaming of my yeti coozie. That would have solved my beer temperature problem. Man, they should sell those. They'd make a killing! Anyway, the salmon Caesar salad was good. I requested that my salmon be prepared medium rare, and it arrived perfectly. The dressing seemed to be average restaurant dressing. I would have enjoyed some anchovies and extra garlic flavor. Regardless, it was very decent and I would order it again. This time of year (June) seems to rain briefly in the afternoons every single day. If you are here in the late afternoon, I recommend sitting under the restaurant awning to avoid a wet lunch. Even if it's sunny, it's a bit cooler feeling because of the shade and fans. Service was outstanding, by the way. I was checked on frequently. It turned out to be a great place to plop down and catch up on some math homework.

It looks so small on the outside but it's a big establishment. Based on aesthetics it looks really amazing. Our bartender was really nice and charismatic, talking to everyone at the bar table. My girlfriend loved the smokiness of their drink and I liked my espresso martini. They weren't too strong, and a bit on the pricier side. It wasn't one of the best espresso martinis I've had, but decently tasty.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was so disappointing that I feel compelled to…read moreshare it. From the moment we arrived, we felt unfairly judged. As the hostess walked away from our table, she commented that our group was going to be "nothing but a problem." The basis for that assumption? One member of our party had simply helped clear and organize the table to make the seating process easier and faster for the staff. Yes, we were a lively group. We were on vacation, having a great time at Disney, laughing and enjoying each other's company. What we were not was intoxicated. The situation escalated when one of our friends was accused of being drunk and our entire party of 10 was asked to leave. The problem is that she wasn't intoxicated at all. What makes this especially troubling is that our friend has worked incredibly hard to maintain her sobriety and recently celebrated 12 months alcohol-free through AA. To be publicly accused of being drunk after reaching such a significant milestone was humiliating, heartbreaking, and completely unnecessary. When we brought our concerns to the General Manager, Scott, we expected leadership. We expected someone who would take a moment to assess the situation, listen to both sides, and use his own judgment. Instead, he simply stated that he trusted his employees and made no effort to independently evaluate what had happened. A manager's job isn't to blindly accept accusations. A manager's job is to gather facts, assess the situation, and make informed decisions. In this case, Scott failed to do that. As a result, the restaurant lost a party of 10 customers. More importantly, they deeply hurt someone who has spent the last year fighting for her sobriety. That's the part of this experience we won't forget. Everyone makes mistakes. Great restaurants acknowledge them, learn from them, and treat people with dignity. Unfortunately, this experience was defined by assumptions, poor judgment, and a complete lack of empathy from both the staff and management.

I really wanted the Seasonal Espresso Martini trio, but there is NO WAY in heck I'm shelling out $30 for 3 extremely small, mini drinks. You have got to be kidding me with that price! We actually had The Viper, Midnight Relic & The Dark Forest Dip. Our bill was nearly $60 dollars! Although the food and drinks did end up being VERY good, the prices are ridiculous, even for Disney. At the entrance to his cave, I had to disarm several traps, including floor spikes, poison darts, and a tablet demanding a 25% tip--with no obvious option to leave no tip. Fortunately, I discovered the hidden button in the bottom-right corner, written in 8-point Times New Roman. At last, I reached the altar containing the legendary treasure chest. When I opened it, I found a shirt that read, "I'd Rather Be at Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar," along with flyers for the Halloween and Christmas events. That discovery led me to this wonderfully themed bar. This is a double review covering both the Halloween and Christmas events. These events used to be relatively easy to attend, but thanks to social media influencers, they have become extremely popular. The lines can get enormous, especially from Friday through Sunday. My advice is to visit Tuesday through Thursday and arrive early. The food was great, and the presentation--especially for the Halloween offerings--was fantastic and definitely Instagram-worthy. The specialty drinks were delicious and surprisingly strong for a Disney restaurant, although they do come with the expected Disney price tag. I've also visited when the bar wasn't decorated for a holiday, and it was still a great time. The regular food offerings are just as good, and the portions are fairly generous. The standard drinks are also perfectly enjoyable. If the weather isn't too hot, I recommend sitting outside by the lake. You'll have a beautiful view of the boats passing by, and the scenery around sunset is incredible. A fantastic spot for food, drinks, atmosphere, and the occasional archaeological revelation.
