Atmosphere: 4 Pretty straight forward. It's clean and quaint, but even looking at pictures to determine if we had been there before left us questioning it. Relatively forgetable, but they put some energy into it. Menu variation: 3.5 They had a couple drinks outside of the standards, but not much. Looks like they do mix it up and do seasonal drinks. Customer Service: 4.t The cashier was pleasant, polite, and patient when asking questions. They were nice enough to split a pulled double shot of espresso between our drinks as well. I'm always appreciative of people who are willing to do that for us. Drink quality: 4.5 I got the honey butter latte with oat milk and an add shot. My husband got the banana bread latte with oat milk and an add shot. Both drinks were really good. I'm not a banana person, so I thought my husband's was in your face with the banana flavor, but he really enjoyed it. But I didn't think mine was overly sweet, and the sweetness was subtle, and it had a nice cream top. Food quality: N/A Price worth it: 5 Stuff is expensive. Since the drinks were good, I didn't mind paying for unique flavors we couldn't recreate at home. Enjoy your own culinary adventure!
Great spot to get my Ube and espresso fix. Clean aesthetics. Prompt service. Love that they are expanding their menu soon. Usually get the Goth Ube Latte, with less ice.
Overall, service was quick, their flavored drinks are great, hojicha was pretty good, but the matcha was watery and their drinks are majority ice Don't get me wrong, the banana bread hojicha was INCREDIBLE... i just wish there was more of it in my cup and less ice.... The matcha was super watery and not strong at all when we went. Every sip tasted like whole milk with an aftertaste of matcha.

The parking lot out front is also pretty small so just a heads up Banana bread latte: 4/5 I liked it but I usually prefer just regular banana lattes so this had slightly too much cinnamon for me Note: I'm not personally a matcha person but my cousins love the earl grey matcha so I'd recommend that for anyone that does like matcha
I was influenced to try this coffee shop because of tiktok & it was a success! I ordered the honey butter latte & my daughter ordered a matcha einspanner. Honey butter latte was 10/10. I love honey. I love butter. I love a good latte so obviously this was gonna be good. Creamy. Not too sweet and I'm a sweet coffee girly but this drink still hits! ARC uses Rocky Matcha so you know it's gonna be fire. Creamy ceremonial matcha is always gonna be delicious! Parking is kinda small but once we arrived, 3 cars were leaving so lucky us! When we left, there was one spot open. There's nowhere really else to park so parking can be a hit or miss here. Still worth a try!
I also book-marked this place for a while. It is near my vet (well, not mine, my doggies') and quite close to another Da Vien location. But, the menu looks interesting and I saw many good reviews so I wanted to try. Yesterday, Saturday morning, was the first time I went, though it was my second time going there. My first attempt I left without stopping because I think it was on a weekend during peak hours, and, I could not find any parking and waited a bit in the tiny parking plaza, which is a tiny corner plaza shared with 7-eleven and few other shops, and there was basically no street parking really, unless you go to the residential on the double lane on Cerritos. Luckily, Saturday late morning, plenty of parking and inside, the small shop was already filled with customers and people sitting to enjoy their drinks. No line and I went to the register to order right away. Maybe bad morning for the staff who helped me but she was NOT happy at all. I wanted to ask few questions because it was my first time but her face made me feel bad even trying to ask questions.. But, she was fine answering me though. Maybe just the vibe, it was cold. Anyway, what caught my eye was the Earl Grey Matcha. So, going against my go-to orders for matcha, which is usually ALWAYS a double matcha whenever anywhere offers it (if you read my recent reviews on matcha shops, the reason I refrain myself from getting double matchas now is the CALORIES!!!!). Anyway but I digressed. I got the Earl Grey matcha and the Goth Coffee for my bf (which has charcoal). The girl explained to me why she would recommend it and I think she said it would be on the sweeter side... So I did not ask to adjust any sweetness, though I asked for less sweet for my matcha. Maybe cuz of how she was, I might've mis-understood what she said but. When I had a taste of my bf's Goth coffee/latte with whole milk, it was .... more charcoal flavor than coffee.... I did not taste any coffee at all... It def looked very cool though, hence I took the photo. It looked more like a black sesame and milk drink. Overall, it was meh. BUT... the highlight was the Earl Grey Matcha... now, I can tell they use premium quality ceremonial grade matcha here. And I appreciate that they take the liberty to make their matcha without asking my opinions what type of ceremonial matcha I would want (some other places have like 4 kinds and different price level and would ask what matcha grade I would want for my latte, honestly, I don't care and it stresses me out having to choose without information. I mean, how much information can I digest reading the city of where the matcha is?? I wouldn't know!!!) Sorry, I digressed again. The Earl Grey Matcha is such a REFRESHING taste that it was just so ....refreshing, sorry for the lack of better words. Because they have the right ratio of matcha:water:oatmilk, my matcha was NOT too milky and the matcha was not overpowering at all. And, if you're a fan of Earl Grey like me, the tea has such a refreshing, light, and fragrant tone that there's a hint of the whole tea garden, with flowers, and spring water with my matcha after each sip. I swear I'm not high or anything but it was THAT good. Now, THAT, is a refreshing matcha, that you cannot get it everywhere. I appreciate that they came up with this combination so much! I don't even know where you get earl grey syrup.. maybe if I look on amazon, but, I would def come back here again and again for this drink!! HIGHLY REC!!!
My friends and I were in the area, so we decided to stop by Arc Coffee. One of my friends was super hyped about trying it out due to all the good reviews she's read about it, but unfortunately, our experience was rather lackluster. Not sure if it was an off-day for them, or if it's because we caught them during a slightly busy time, but to me, the matcha latte I ordered was just ok. Not terrible, but also not amazing. My friends had ordered the hojicha einspanner, banana bread matcha, and orange tonic. According to them the hojicha was ok, banana bread matcha was decent but it was more like a regular matcha with banana foam (there was no crumbs or toppings added), and the orange tonic was a bit too bitter. The front bar area and distribution of drinks was also rather hectic. There were 3-4 people working in such a small space, and cups were lined up all the way to the register area. Customers were waiting for their drinks to be called out, but it was confusing because they would call out the drink name and lots of people ordered the same drinks! I think an actual number/ticket distribution or calling out a person's name for the order would be more efficient. Staff was friendly though! The shop was a lot smaller than expected, but it was clean. Parking space was pretty hectic with cars always coming in and out in such a tiny area. Unfortunately, my friends and I don't think we'll be returning.
Matcha einspanner is similar to the quality of matcha from community goods! But the COCONUT MATCHA was 10/10! I will come back just for that. The Honey Butter Latte (not pictured) is also a great option for the espresso lovers! Place is cute and small with some space for studying. The workers are so efficient.
So I drove by this place a few times and always seen a line out the door. Today I decided I wanted to give it a try! Located on the corner of Valley View St. and Cerritos Ave. in a small plaza. The inside of the shop is small but modern and clean with a few seating options. The staff welcomed us as we walked in and were quick and friendly. They offer classic coffee drinks, signature coffees, and matchas, along with a small selection of baked goods. I ordered one of their signature drinks, the Honey Butter Latte (served iced only), and an Einspanner Matcha. The latte was strong, creamy, and pillowy smooth. The matcha was also very good, smooth, creamy, and not overly sweet, with a nice matcha flavor. But if you're in the area and needing a morning coffee or afternoon pick me up stop on by and give it a try!
The matcha here was really good and they use Rockys! I would dock just one star due to the lack of earl grey flavor in my earl grey matcha. Otherwise the matcha was really strong and the quality was good! Up there with the good matchas in OC!

cute shop but coffee was only okay. i got the honey butter latte, which is one of their most popular items, and im confused why. it tasted like any other average latte; there was nothing "honey butter" about it
Tried the orange tonic here and it was so delicious and refreshing. The staff were all really friendly and welcoming too. The shop itself is a bit small, but I did notice a few people studying inside. I can see it getting crowded pretty quickly during busy hours though. Parking can also be a little difficult if you come at peak times, especially since it's right by a 711. Overall I really liked the drinks and definitely want to come back to try more items on the menu. They also sell Rocky Matcha here, so I'll probably try one of their matcha drinks next time.
Honestly, I can't get enough of Arc Coffee. The matcha lattes are smooth and refreshing. I usually order a matcha latte with oat milk and zero sugar; and it tastes amazing. When I'm craving something sweet, I'll order an Earl Grey Matcha where it has just the right amount of sweetness. The ice quotes are quite large but they melt very slowly which I appreciate. I grab my drink right after school and have a long commute. The staff is friendly and there are seats available to sit down and enjoy your drink. Although oat milk is $1 upcharge, I think it's worth it for the quality of the drinks. I can't recommend Arc Coffee enough! read more

Stopped by earlier after a meeting and the coffee spot is pretty cute and secluded. Parking is pretty tight. Seen this on many of my friends' instagram stories, so I had to give it a try. We ordered their signature Honey Butter Latte and the Goth Latte. Both of the drinks tasted delicious. I prefer the Honey Butter though because it reminded me of butterscotch. It wasn't too sweet either; just right. The goth latte wasn't not bad, but the charcoal sesame is not my thing. My cousin likes it though. The service was chill and our coffee came out pretty quick. I really like their logo stickers; it looks dope. Overall, i would probably come back again and try their einspanner. If you're into Korean inspired coffee and cozy vibes, come through! read more
Usually cafés have drinks with fun names, but they don't really taste like what they're called. Arc Coffee is different - their drinks literally taste exactly like the name. I tried the orange espresso tonic and the banana bread matcha, and both were so good. The orange espresso tonic actually had real orange pulp in it, which I've never had in a tonic before. It tasted so fresh and perfectly balanced. And the banana bread matcha?? They somehow balanced the banana bread flavor with the matcha so well. It wasn't overpowering either way - just smooth, slightly sweet, and honestly addictive. I don't even know how else to describe it other than... y'all need to go try it right now. read more
Yummy little matcha spot! I ordered the earl gray matcha latte with 50% sweetness and it was great. The earl gray really complimented the matcha without being too overpowering. Love that they use Rocky's matcha as well. Was able to do a bit of work here too - they have outlets and relatively limited seating. read more

I have been here a couple times and their drinks never disappoint! Right now, as of February, they have special drinks including a double strawberry matcha, which is what I got today. So good!! This place can get pretty busy but there is ample seating and their service is really quick! During the week, this is a perfect space to set up a WFH or study spot. Okay, drinks here are solid. I ordered 3 drinks in total, and all of them were on point. Was in the area and saw this place nearby - decided to stop by and, just have to say, parking is pretty horrendous. The lot is really small and it's located next to a restaurant that seems fairly busy. Matcha Einspanner $6.75 - asked for less ice, but didn't seem like the ice was on the lighter side. Matcha was made with ceremonial grade matcha. Cream top was thick and sweet. Really enjoyed taking a sip of the matcha with the cream. Would definitely get this again! Einspanner latte $6.50 - good flavor and overall creaminess. Wasn't too sweet or heavy in flavor. Would probably order this again. And we ordered the honey butter latte $6.50 - I think this one was a little sweeter, but still had the creaminess. I probably would get the Einspanner if I wanted something stronger with more flavor. Overall coffee spot was really nice albeit a bit small. It was pretty packed when I walked inside. Will definitely be back when I'm in the area! read more

Good morning Hojicha latte and a buttery ham and cheese croissant will definitely make you feel happy today. This little coffee shop is next to the Japanese Neighborhood Bento Box and Ramen shop. Very limited supply so come early and enjoy before it's all gone. Limited parking as well here. Nice clean restroom available inside for paying customers and no key needed just as it should be. No homeless people here. Close to Cypress college and lots of students come here for their favorite morning brew and pastry. Happy Humpty Wednesday. Have a great day. read more

Have been wanting to try this place since it opened but it was always so far from me! Thankfully I was in the area. The cafe is tucked in a small plaza with limited parking, but you can manage. The cafe itself is a little on the smaller side, but has a fair amount of seating and the vibes were chill. The staff were friendly and nice when giving us recommendations. We got the Matcha on Matcha ($8.5), Earl Grey Matcha ($8.5), and Banana Bread Hojicha ($8.5) all with oat milk. All of the drinks were really tasty! The ratios of milk, sweetness, and matcha/hojicha were almost perfect (to me) :D I think banana pairs with hojicha a lot better than matcha imo and it was my first time seeing it being offered in OC! The drinks were not too sweet and not diluted and had a decent amount of tea. The prices are a wee bit pricey, but a good treat for yourself here and there. You can tell they care about the craft here. Def worth a visit :) read more
Arc Coffee is such a great find in Buena Park. I tried their iced honey butter latte and it was incredible. Perfectly balanced lightly sweet and very smooth without being overpowering. You can really taste how thoughtfully it is made. The space is cozy and welcoming and the quality of the drinks really stands out. A new favorite cafe! I went on a Thursday afternoon and ordered a double matcha. It was delicious and well balanced. The cafe itself has the clean and bright natural wood aesthetic. Tables and stools line the perimeter. The cafe is located in a busy plaza and it can be a little tricky to find parking. What really stood out to me was their customer service. I was sitting on a stool with my laptop on my lap about to work. Because there were no open tables, either the owner or one of the baristas, moved out a table for me to work on. Also, I collect cafe paraphernalia for my journal and I asked if they had any extra cup stickers because I couldn't rip it off, and they just ended up giving me a large sticker instead! Such a great little addition to this Buena Park neighborhood! ARC Coffee is a cute coffee shop nestled in a small shopping plaza. They offer a variety of coffee, tea, and matcha drinks. My favorites are their Blueberry Matcha and Hojicha Einspanner. Alternative milks cost extra. They aren't listed on the menu, but I believe they have oat milk and a couple of others. They also have some pastries. I really like their savory pastries! They do run out, so you'll have a better chance of getting your hands on one if you go earlier in the day. The shop itself has a simple, modern interior. There are a few benches and small tables to enjoy your drinks. Parking is difficult in this lot. It's always pretty busy on weekends, and the spots are narrow! read more
100/100. Am glad to find a new favorite spot!! Can't recommend them enough! I'm so happy I made a pitstop at Arc Coffee this afternoon. I was underwhelmed by the selection of drinks available at the newly opened Mitsuwa nearby. So we decided to try out Arc Coffee. The cafe was bookmarked for a while after I saw one of my favorite Yelpers, Sam B. write a review about them in recent times. My goodness I haven't enjoyed espresso based drinks or matcha type drinks quite like that in a very long time. The earl gray matcha had just the right amount of sweetness and hint of bergamot that meshed well with the two tea flavors. It was extremely refreshing after walking around all day. Same with the honey butter latte. The sweetness level was just perfect and I loved every sip of both drinks. It had an almost butterscotch caramel like flavor to the latte that complimented the coffee. I appreciated the lack of bitterness and silky smooth mouthfeel of the medium roast. Parking is plenty and right in front of the store, free. Seating is limited inside but enough spaces available for work/homework. Wait time was minimal and efficient. Service no nonsense and swift. Amex available to use too. It's also located a few doors down from Tsukemen Tao, a well known Michelin bib gourmand shop. I know exactly where I would be eating lunch and grabbing coffee right afterwards from here on out! read more

Stopped by this cafe to do some work and had a hard time finding parking due to the limited parking lot spots. The cafe also only had about 3 tables for work and some smaller side tables with benches that were lower. The WiFi itself was fast and service was good. Their seasonal flavor currently is Ube so I decided to try the Ube Hojicha Einspanner since I've never had this combination of flavors before. The drink was solid in terms of the flavors and wasn't overly sweet however the texture of the hojicha was a bit gritty. Overall am very happy with this place and can't wait to come back and try their other drinks! read more

I really enjoyed the matcha here! It was smooth, creamy, and so flavorful. Definitely one of those matchas that has me daydreaming about coming back already. Hubby got the hojicha. It was rich, smooth, and well made. My brother got the Goth Latte, and my mom got the Banana Bread Matcha. We all enjoyed our drinks! We also love that they use Rocky's matcha and hojicha. My boyfriend and I came here since we saw arc coffee had both ube and blueberry matcha. To my disappointment, they no longer sell the blueberry matcha. I got the earl grey instead and it was okay. I did think this was a unique drink since you don't often see earl grey. I liked my boyfriend's ube matcha much more! Service was quick and we didn't have to wait long at all for our drinks - only 2 min! We went on a Tuesday late afternoon around 4:45pm. There's not a crazy amount of seating inside but just enough since I don't think the place is necessarily good for studying. I liked the aesthetics of the place a lot though as it was clean and modern. The parking lot is a little small and can be complicated if cars are coming in and out. I am biased towards blueberry matcha but if I were to come back, I'd get the ube. read more

So far, this is my 5/5 matcha! The flavor was rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced. The ratio of matcha to milk was just right, allowing the matcha to shine without being too bitter or overly sweet. Every sip was creamy and delicious. If you're a matcha lover, this place is definitely worth trying. I'll definitely be back for another one! read more
Came here on a Saturday just before they closed and the place had a few customers inside. The inside is really nice but seating is limited. They offer various Rocky's matcha for purchasing and if you buy a tin you get a free drink. We got the banana cream matcha and the Ube hojicha. The cashier was really friendly and nice and offered us two pastries since they were closing. We really enjoyed the pastries and the drinks were so delicious. Omg this place just opened near my old neighborhood and I couldn't be happier. It's such a small place. Seats 17 plus parking is small but you must try it!!!! As what my husband said "I want that in my water bottle" when he first had the goth ube. That says A lot! I even heard a customer who ordered the honey butter latte "wow this is good" so I had to try it for myself and she was right! It was delicious! And I definitely will be back! Service is good! They are friendly and helpful! She was right when I asked her about my drink being too sweet. I got my drink right and I'll be back for more of it! read more
It's located inside a small plaza so it's limited parking so we had to park in the neighborhood that's by the plaza. The shop is very small and only had a few spots to sit. There was a good amount of people, but the wait wasn't too long. I got the hojicha latte which had a really nice rich roasted flavor. It was the perfect amount of sweetness since it wasn't too sweet. I also tried their matcha einspanner which was delicious! Loved the matcha and the einsplanner cream had a nice sea salt flavor to it. It's a really cute shop with a lot of different coffee, tea, and matcha. I noticed that they filled the entire cup with ice so my drink did get watered down pretty quick. They only offer once size for the drinks. read more

Stopped by a local coffee shop for a quick pick me up. There's a selection of baked goods to pair with your drinks but I just opted for the iced ube goth latte and a hot vanilla latte for a friend. The ube goth latte was one of the best I've tasted. Not too sweet and more of the ube flavor, which I love. The space is quaint. Tables are made for two and seating is limited, but it gives the "let's get together and catch up" with a close friend kind of vibe. Korean music playing overhead and it's raining outside. Sorta feel like I'm in a kdrama. read more

Whoo! Love me some Earl Grey Matcha Latte. And this one was perfect. 50% sweetness, abnormally large ice cubes to keep it cold, and could taste the matcha. Cute little shop, nestled in a small strip parking lot. Parking spaces are very narrow, but somehow large trucks can fit. The employees were welcoming and very nice. Absolutely loved their music playlist. Was definitely gonna ask for it, but forgot. I will definitely be coming back here! (literally posted 4 pics of the same drink, haha). read more
Visiting from the Bay Area and this is down the street from my parent's home. Honestly sooo good. Staff is kind and they are quick! I got the honey butter latte half sweet and my husband got the einspanner hojicha. Both were amazing! I will definitely be back! The shop itself is clean and cute. There are hella bugs in the parking lot area and some end up coming up, but nothing can really stop that lol. I loved our drinks! Well balanced and tasty! read more
#165 in my Coffeeshop Chronicles. Arc is a new Korean coffeeshop in the Buena Park/ Cypress area. The small shop opened about 3 weeks ago, and the owner and staff were all incredibly friendly, especially with my fur babies! I love that there's another dog-friendly coffeeshop in the area now. The menu is limited but they do have an interesting selection of signature drinks. Their specialty drinks are all expertly crafted using housemade syrups and purees, the true benchmark of a first-rate coffeeshop. I tried the Honey Butter latte and the Goth latte. The goth latte is made from charcoal and vanilla. I thought it would be similar to the black sesame drinks I've had before because of the color, so I was surprised by the difference in taste. I loved how subtle the charcoal was in comparison - less bitter than black sesame while still offering an earthy rich flavor, one that's more smoky than nutty. I also enjoyed the honey butter latte, which was sweet and creamy and perfectly balanced. They also offer a few different pastries from my favorite LA-based bakery, Farmshop, and there were even a few I hadn't tried before. So of course I took the opportunity to rectify that, and unsurprisingly, the tomato pesto croissant and the artichoke croissant were both exceptional. All in all, Arc is a great addition to the local coffee scene. ****************** My Ratings: 1 Star: Terrible; just thinking about it makes me angry. 2 Stars: Wasn't a fan so Not likely to return. 3 Stars: Meh. Arc Coffee is my post workout reward! My go-to is the Matcha with Ube Cream Top, and it was authentic and delicious. The matcha is the right color and taste, dark green and bitter, and the ube tastes authentically like ube. Second, I love the interior design, minimalist and neat. The music isn't exactly the vibe though. I'm not in the mood for stimulating pop music early in the morning, so something more chill in the morning is preferred. Finally, they are located in a somewhat rundown plaza with limited parking, so just be aware of that. It was easy enough to park there first thing in the morning, but I cannot speak to what the afternoon parking situation looks like. Oh! And service is friendly and efficient. read more

Grand Opening Day and 30% off for the drinks! Surely a good deal for my curiosity to try what they offered. Great thing was their signature went beyond just another cream top drinks, which recently seemed to be what everyone else was serving. The place was simple yet nice stop for hanging awhile with small group or just your screen as plugs were available. Being torn between the top 2, I followed the barista's advice and went for their Honey Butter Latte. It turned exactly as how the menu described it; rich and creamy with just the right sweetness level. It might be slightly thicker than your regular iced coffee, but at the right enjoyable level and made it a delightful treat. Next time I would be back for their Goth Latte, the black one with vanilla flavor! read more

I was pleasantly surprised that they had Ube milk available which was also an option besides whole milk and when I ordered the iced honey butter latte and enjoyed the creaminess of the Ube milk, it was a whole new taste sensation that proved that Ube can pair well with coffee and not be too overwhelming.
