I'm hosting a meet up for my pizza group next week, and while my friend secured this location for it, I like to check the space out for myself before the event. So I decided to swing by after work today. I sat at the end of the bar and took in the space, open, lively with guests, and the trivia DJ setting up for the evening. The place was hopping for a Wednesday night. The pizza menu had a great variety of specialty pizzas, some classics, some inventive. The cocktail menu matched the creativity. I selected the special rhubarb margarita and a medium Chorizo Manzana for my pizza. Although I thought about a classic half cheese half pepperoni for my first pizza here, the combination of toppings for that pie was calling my name. The rhubarb margarita was delicious. Slightly sweet, super tangy without overdoing it. I had to be careful not to suck it down immediately. My pizza arrived and the first thing I noticed was the smell. I could smell the distinct scent of chorizo with hints of the warm spices used on the roasted apples. That's right. Apples. That's the manzana. The pizza had a ricotta base, chorizo, roasted apples, bacon, Sriracha aioli and cilantro. It sounds a bit odd but I had a feeling it would hit just right so I took the chance. And I was handsomely rewarded. The smoky spicyness of the bacon and chorizo against the comforting familiar taste of the apples, elevated by the creaminess of the ricotta and then brightened by the cilantro. Whoever came up with this combo needs an award for their brilliance. Normally you would see pizza combos like this in a top tier bougie spot in the heart of Providence or Manhattan, instead this can be found on the backwoods of West Greenwich, right down the road from RI's only truck stop. And while the toppings suggest high end and snobby, it comes across as approachable and welcoming. The crust is crispy and thin like a NY style, the texture brought that to mind. No flop, if that's important to you. Normally I'm a 3 slice kinda gal, tonight I polished off 5. I'm contemplating a 6th one now as I sit here writing this. I had heard they spent their time rebuilding after the fire working on their crust and recipes. That really came through for me tonight. I can see the thought process and the care that made this unique combination. Now I'm really looking forward to the meet up next week! read more

Sometimes the best thing that can happen to a restaurant is the one thing nobody would ever choose. In May of 2024, a fire that started elsewhere in the building forced Arcadia Pizza to close. It wasn't their fire, but it became their problem. Most restaurants in that situation spend their time trying to get back to where they were. Arcadia spent those two years getting better. The old Arcadia was a neighborhood pizza shop with twenty-four seats. The new one opens into a bright, comfortable dining room built around a long wooden bar with ten taps, roomy booths, and the kind of space that invites you to stay a while. It doesn't feel like an expansion. It feels like the restaurant that every neighborhood wishes someone would build. Then the pizza arrives. I ordered a medium pie, half meatball and pepperoni, half grilled chicken. The crust is hand tossed, not wood fired, but it carries the char and blistering you'd expect from a much hotter oven. Crisp around the edge, light inside, it folds naturally without collapsing under the weight of the toppings. Then come the meatballs. Forget everything you think meatballs on pizza are supposed to be. These aren't the thin slices or little pellets that disappear into the cheese. They're generous, rustic chunks with browned edges, a tender center, and they're absolutely loaded with flavor. The first bite wakes up your whole mouth, and for a second you stop thinking about the pizza because you're trying to figure out how the meatballs got to be this good. They're just outstanding meatballs that happen to be sitting on your pizza. The pepperoni still earns its place next to them. They cup beautifully, crisp around the edges, and leave behind those little pools of spicy orange oil that most pepperoni lovers want to see. The grilled chicken deserves just as much credit. It's moist and juicy, with a well-balanced marinade that complements the pizza instead of competing with it. It adds another layer of flavor without ever taking over the slice. Underneath everything is a bright, fresh tomato sauce that cuts through the richness and keeps every bite moving. Nothing feels heavy. Nothing feels overdone. What impressed me most wasn't one spectacular ingredient. It was the thought behind the whole pie. Every topping belongs. Every decision feels intentional. Nothing is there just because that's the way it's always been done. The two years Arcadia spent away from the ovens weren't just spent building a new restaurant. They were spent building a better pizza. That same care shows up everywhere else. The dining room is larger, but it never feels oversized. The bar feels like it belongs there. The booths invite families to settle in. Nothing about the room feels like it was added simply because there was more space. It just feels... complete. Confident. Grown up. For my money, Arcadia now serves the best pizza in the West Greenwich area. The fire forced them to begin again. They could have rebuilt what they had. Instead, they built something better. It's no longer just a great neighborhood pizza shop. It's a Rhode Island pizza destination. read more

Risen from the ashes! I was glad to see Arcadia Pizza returned and it's better than ever. The inside has a nice new refresh. Service is also amazing with an eager and helpful staff. The pizza is inventive and crispy - which stands out from the greasy fare of western Rhode Island. They also have an amazingly creative menu with appetizers like shrimp tostadas and egg rolls. All of which will fill you up after a day enjoying Arcadia park. 10 out of 10 would recommend! read more

YYYAAAASSSS they're finally back. I waited patiently for literally two years. The menu is fairly consistent with the old one with some interesting changes. The food is pretty much what I expected. I know it's early days and the staff is trying hard to learn the menu, work out issues, and scale up. The 5 stars is for effort and potential. We've been back twice. Service is good but could be improved. We were sat on Sunday with a slew of other tables and our poor server was in. The. Weeds. He was apologetic but we were there a long time. Food was good but a couple of minor things were off the mark. The reuben needs a bit more dressing and cheese. The pizza was kind of doughy and undercooked in the middle. With a couple of tweaks everything would be spectacular. I also miss the thin cut fries but I am sure its a capacity issue. So glad you guys are back. I found this wonderful place back during Covid when they had some of the best pizza and beer in the state. After their unwanted hiatus, I was so happy to see they are back slinging pies and still doing great things. Happened to find myself down in WG for a soccer game and grabbed some take out on the way home after I noticed they were open. The chicken parm grinder has perfectly scallopini chicken with a crispy crust. Not a chicken nugget on a bun like so many places serve nowadays. It also was not drowning in sauce so the chicken could speak for itself. The pizza is fantastic no matter what style. We got a margherita and a hot honey and both were excellent in their own right. Crispy crust, fresh hot toppings and cheese that actually pulls! I had no problems ordering or picking up and everyone there was welcoming and friendly. New place is clean and bright. Can't wait to go back next time we're down that way. read more

Well- first time ordering after waiting for the re-opening. Unfortunately, a night when 2 competitors were closed- kitchen in the weeds and from my view into the kitchen they really didn't care that customers were waiting over 20/25/30 minutes late. They should really offer you ice water or something for the wait. Just ordered an app- although Tuna was good, extremely tiny, & guess they couldn't spare the greens the menu said they came with. Pizza good but cold so reheating it now....the restaurant itself was not even half full so I'm guessing they need to up their game. read more

Arcadia Pizza absolutely knocked it out of the park! The marinated steak tips were the star of the meal--tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. They were served over creamy mashed potatoes with fresh julienned vegetables that complemented the dish beautifully. Every bite was packed with flavor and clearly prepared with care. We also ordered the eggplant panini, which was outstanding. The eggplant was perfectly prepared, and the sandwich was loaded with great flavor and served on fresh bread. For dessert, we took home the peach-mango cheesecake egg rolls, and they were incredible. The crispy exterior paired perfectly with the creamy cheesecake filling and fruity flavors. The buttery dipping sauce on the side, with subtle hints of cinnamon and vanilla, took the dessert to another level. To top it all off, our waitress was excellent--friendly, attentive, and prompt throughout the entire meal. Great food and great service made for a fantastic dining experience. Amazing to see this place return. The brussel sprouts and honey made an outstanding appetizer. Wide selection of beverages like the original as Acadia. New location in same building. My sister in law lives in the area and suggested getting lunch there. Boy, I was impressed. I didn't have too much of an appetite because I was so sick so I didn't eat as much as I would normally and I eat a lot lol. We shared the buffalo chicken egg rolls which were stuffed with shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, cheese, and fried like an egg roll. Oh my, that was so good and unique. I ordered a wiener, which is a small hot dog on a bun with onions, mustard, and meat sauce. That was really good, only suggestion is to use a smaller bun. My husband ordered a sandwich and he loved it. The place was small with a few tables and they definitely get a lot of people taking food out. The service was good, the girl at the front desk was answering calls and serving tables! Busy gal but efficient! This place is way out of the way of things but I'm sure it popular amongst the locals. One of my favorite pizza places!! I love their regular pizza and their Sicilian pizza! I do wish we could do a small Sicilian pizza because it's so large. It is delicious though! I also love their onion rings with their horseradish sauce! I also love their buffalo chicken egg rolls. So good! Their salads are great too!! I would request extra salad dressing just cuz. We stumbled upon Arcadia on our way through Rhode Island (headed to VA). With two kids in the car, this was a short drive from I95 and an excellent alternative to fast food - more options, healthier, and tastier! They had just opened for the day when our ragtag bunch walked in, but they were friendly and helpful. We ordered an Italian, tuna and eggplant parm grinders, and all were ready in 10-15 min and delicious. For our youngest, we ordered a kids grilled cheese, which was a generous portion and cooked perfectly - lightly toasted bread, melted through without being lava hot (if you're a parent, you get this!). We're very thankful we found this place on our travels! read more

My wife and I tried this spot for the first time last night. Great beer selection (tap and cans), awesome food and great service. We will be back for sure. A nice cozy place for a casual dinner. Farm Fresh Zucchini Bisque, Prosciutto and Apple Salad, and Brussels Sprouts with local honey- yup this was all at a pizza place! The bisque was outstanding as were the Brussels sprouts-still full so haven't tried the salad yet but it will make for a delicious lunch tomorrow. Hubs got a pizza/rings and fries. He loved the pizza and rings especially the horseradish sauce that came with them. The fries, although hand cut, were not great. They were all small pieces and we had to reheat them and drain them on paper towels before we ate them. The peanut butter cake would be a sure pass next time. My husband and I make it a point to eat here ATLEAST once a week! We have busy schedules, and a young child, so we always get takeout, and we have NEVER been disappointed! The food is always ON POINT, amazing, and SO DELICIOUS! They recently updated their menu, so I tried the Chicken and Waffle sandwich tonight... I cannot even find words to describe how delicious this sandwich is. It is everything I wanted it to be and more! Their pizza is great, burgers are different from everywhere else and so so good! A gem hidden in a small strip of stores off of Victory Highway. If there's even competition in this area, Arcadia wins on atmosphere, on taste, and on service. Prosciutto and Pineapple pizza is a big winner with my family. Sauceless (ricotta based), but not dry. Crust is excellently cooked. Calzones are also a bog hit. I always order them "well done," which gives it this shiny, golden brown crust that has yet to be matched by any other pizza place. If you're into beer, they have plenty of craft selections on tap and in cans. The price of the pizza is on par with the area. Maybe a couple dollars more, but for the quality you're getting, the extra dollars are worth it. read more

This small pizza shop recently opened and is tucked into a little plaza with a few other spots. Out of the salad pizza and French fries we got the salad really out shone everything else. The French fries were certainly good, and the truffle oil was tastey, though I wish we had eaten in so we could have had them when they were served fresh (our drive was too long). As this place has only just opened it is clearly still figuring out its footing, but the staff is extremely friendly (we dealt mostly with Erika), the servings are on par both in size and cost with the surrounding options, and I found the food generally enjoyable. If you're a local looking for something a little different, or a traveler passing through, I recommend giving this place a shot, as they clearly have a few good tricks up their sleeves. You'll probably find yourself coming back more than once :) read more

The specials usually have something interesting. They often use locally-sourced ingredients in their dishes, such mushrooms, vegetables, and meats. Staff are friendly and welcoming. This turned out to be a very popular place. I stopped in for a beer and takeout and the place was pretty busy. Lots of take-out traffic and apparently they ran out of their Friday fish and chips before 530pm! Some disappointed people stopped by to grab some.....they were very popular. The place is run by a good group of young folk....all very friendly and happy to talk with you. I asked about the source of their chicken and the owner came around from the kitchen to talk to me about it in length. They get the *best* (organic and all) chicken they can get while still meeting the demands. They have a wide selection of craft beers on tap also for the people who like that kind of thing. They also have the typical domestics. I am looking forward to going back and trying out other parts of their menue. It looks like they have some interesting takes on standard dishes. read more

Best food around!! I come to this place as often as I can (which tends to be around once a week), and I have never had anything that wasn't delicious. The specials are always creative and scrumptious. Not to mention, the extensive beer list always has great options. Above all, the best thing about this place has to be the staff.
