Honey hot chicken with onion rings

YYYAAAASSSS they're finally back. I waited patiently for literally two years. The menu is fairly consistent with the old one with some interesting changes. The food is pretty much what I expected. I know it's early days and the staff is trying hard to learn the menu, work out issues, and scale up. The 5 stars is for effort and potential. We've been back twice. Service is good but could be improved. We were sat on Sunday with a slew of other tables and our poor server was in. The. Weeds. He was apologetic but we were there a long time. Food was good but a couple of minor things were off the mark. The reuben needs a bit more dressing and cheese. The pizza was kind of doughy and undercooked in the middle. With a couple of tweaks everything would be spectacular. I also miss the thin cut fries but I am sure its a capacity issue. So glad you guys are back. Best of luck staffing up fully and working out the kinks. I humbly request a local seltzer like the one from Whalers on the menu!

I found this wonderful place back during Covid when they had some of the best pizza and beer in the state. After their unwanted hiatus, I was so happy to see they are back slinging pies and still doing great things. Happened to find myself down in WG for a soccer game and grabbed some take out on the way home after I noticed they were open. The chicken parm grinder has perfectly scallopini chicken with a crispy crust. Not a chicken nugget on a bun like so many places serve nowadays. It also was not drowning in sauce so the chicken could speak for itself. The pizza is fantastic no matter what style. We got a margherita and a hot honey and both were excellent in their own right. Crispy crust, fresh hot toppings and cheese that actually pulls! I had no problems ordering or picking up and everyone there was welcoming and friendly. New place is clean and bright. Can't wait to go back next time we're down that way.

New location upstairs- very bright and open.

Well- first time ordering after waiting for the re-opening. Unfortunately, a night when 2 competitors were closed- kitchen in the weeds and from my view into the kitchen they really didn't care that customers were waiting over 20/25/30 minutes late. They should really offer you ice water or something for the wait. Just ordered an app- although Tuna was good, extremely tiny, & guess they couldn't spare the greens the menu said they came with. Pizza good but cold so reheating it now....the restaurant itself was not even half full so I'm guessing they need to up their game.

Hidden gem, not really near anything but close to the highway so easy to get to. Great flavor, a bit unique blend of cheese I think gives it the flavor. Thin crust, with chewy crust. Never disappoints when I do visit. Just check hours, not always open when you might expect.

Ordered the Arcadia pizza, crust is really good, not too thin but a very nice crunch to the bite. Good amount of toppings. I just couldn't figure out the lingering after taste. It was almost like a sight bitter taste at the end of each bite. Never had that experience before from any pizza anywhere. The toppings where all fresh veggies including the mushrooms. Would have been 4 stars if not for the after taste.

One of my favorite pizza places!! I love their regular pizza and their Sicilian pizza! I do wish we could do a small Sicilian pizza because it's so large. It is delicious though! I also love their onion rings with their horseradish sauce! I also love their buffalo chicken egg rolls. So good! Their salads are great too!! I would request extra salad dressing just cuz. They also have an awesome beer selection!!!!! We have had a bunch of their specialty pizzas and have loved all of them!! You can't go wrong with this place!!

**November 2025: Sunday Late Morning Visit**…read more I had ulterior motives to coming to Little Country Pizza as my friend and I had been Dambo Troll hunting all morning and I was in dire need of a bathroom. We walked in thinking we could probably grab a drink or patron the restaurant to use their facilities and were greeted by the host with open arms. I asked what their shop was known for and she immediately said the Italian Stallion was their claim to fame. My friend and I decided we could share one. The ambiance is very casual and homey. As we waited I noticed a table of self serve water along with some board games. I helped myself to a glass and was started by how crisp and clean it tasted. I drank 4 glasses of that refreshing water and even complimented it to our waitress. She proudly thanked me and said that it was well water and the same water was used to proof the pizza dough. We did wait a bit (maybe 20 minutes or so), but it looked like it was made to order and we demolished the pepperoni calzone, sandwich. I never thought to have a pepperoni pizza as the bread part of the sando and the crisp lettuce combined with the pungent raw onion gave ever bite a different texture and burst of flavor. We were happy campers. I'm still thinking about that well water even a week later. I would definitely come back again.

I ordered the eggplant Parmesan with gluten free pasta and I actually liked it enough to bring my leftovers with me (If something isn't great I tend to leave leftovers). Eggplant was thinly sliced and crispy. My father ordered a baked stuffed quahog, and a Greek salad. He wasn't happy with either & thought the salad dressing came straight from a bottle. He did have New England clam chowder (not homemade, Snows) which he did like. Mom ordered an eggplant grinder that was good, but needed more sauce. The atmosphere was a family run Italian restaurant kind of vibe. There was a dessert counter with desserts that looked bakery made. Based on the delicious smell of the place, my guess is that the pizza and grinders are probably very good too. I think perhaps my father just ordered the wrong things? I'm not willing to rate this place less than 3 because the eggplant parm and the service were so good. I bet if we gave them another try and stuck w Italian entrees we would have been a lot happier.

So I drove 10 minutes down the road to the Center of New England... boulevard. Fratellis is situated in one of the shopping strips along the boulevard. Lots of open parking, always a plus in my book. Inside, the big windows of the front offer a lot of natural light as you walk inside. The set is simple, straightforward and clean. A few tables, counter seating at the windows and the register, where a nice woman was waiting to take our order. We went simple today, a Detroit half cheese and half pepperoni. I had heard great things about the Detroit and I wanted to taste for myself. After about 20 minutes, the pizza arrived and it was time to eat. The first thing I noticed is this is a VERY cheesy pizza, some might say overly so. I would be one of those people. But if you love lots of cheese, you will love this. Although it was a lot of cheese, it was delicious. The pockets of sauce were great, I love a chunky, savory sauce. The crust was buttery, crispy but pillowy thick. The caramelized cheese edges nice and crunchy, always my favorite part of the Detroit. We are blessed to have many great options for Detroit now here in Rhode Island. Fratelli's is absolutely among the top in the state. If you like Detroit, you need to add this place to your list to check out ASAP.

The…read moreactual geographic center of New England is Dunbarton, New Hampshire, two and a half hours north, and nobody from Rhode Island is driving there for pizza. Coventry is, however, the geographic center of Rhode Island, which means whoever named this plaza was close, swung big, and overshot by about one state. None of that matters. Inside, Fratelli's is clean, sunny, and bright. Patterned tile floor, white subway tile on the walls, a wood counter running along the window where you can watch cars pull in and out while you eat. A Pepsi cooler. A TV with a cheese ad on a loop. The room is not trying to wow you, even though it's very nice. They just want to feed you. In addition to their hand tossed pizza, they make Detroit style here, and they make it correctly. The pan comes out lined with parchment, the frico edge running dark and almost black in the corners, caramelized down to something that crunches and adds a welcome bitter contrast to the flavors. The sauce goes on top after the cheese, the way it's supposed to be. Flip a slice and look at the bottom: deep amber gold, wall to wall, the kind of color that takes a well-oiled pan and real heat and no shortcuts. The inside of the crust pulls apart in layers. I ordered half pepperoni, half grilled chicken. The pepperoni did what pepperoni does you know the drill. The chicken is what you need to know about. Big chunks, marinated, substantial in a way that most pizza chicken has no clue about. Not the pale, dried-out afterthought that shows up on a lot of pies when someone tries to do something other than sausage or pepperoni. This was the kind of chicken that makes you stop mid-slice and reconsider whether you should have ordered a whole chicken pie. I didn't expect to reach a verdict this fast. This is as good as any Detroit pizza I've found anywhere in the state. It's a strip mall but don't judge the book by its cover, order the Detroit, get the chicken. The location will not give you much of a story to tell. The pizza will.
