Walking in, it was nice to see the space reconfigured to allow more kitchen and pastry case space. Plus the interior is a lot more warmer with wall color and vibrant art work which is enhanced by the natural light. This makes for a more pleasant dining area. I was kind of overwhelmed with the immense selection and variety in the wrap around pastry case. I'm glad that the counter person was patient with me as I seriously gave consideration since clearly I can't say - one of each please, lol. I ended up exercising restraint and selected two ham and cheese empanadas with chimichurri and two chocolate covered chocolate alfajores with dulce de leche as takeout. The Homie ate one empanada with chimichurri later that day. I ate mine the next day with the remaining chimichurri. We can both attest that the quality has remained despite the near five year hiatus.
