Worst service, worst return policy because by the time you get the order it's already past the allotted time period to return. These recliners are so uncomfortable and no amount of breaking these in will help. The lady at the Tustin store told me to have my overweight friends break it in. ARE you kidding me!!!! That's the kind of service you get there. I even told the sales lady that we just did a rebuild of two houses on our property and will be buying most of the things there. She didn't care and the GM didn't care. This is a horrible company. So we're stuck with defective 8,000 dollar recliners. We gave them to goodwill. Never buy from Arizona Leather!!!!! In a time when the customer experience Is everything you would think they would do the right thing for a customer who just spent $5300 with them!! Wy wife and i went shopping for new leather sectional and stopped into Arizona Leather to take a peek. We found something and came back a week later to place our order. Over the course of a couple of weeks we made several changes over the course of 2-3 weeks including deleting an ottoman. We paid by C/C and were told it would be 8 weeks and if we later wanted the ottoman it would be no problem! We get our sectional and it looks great but a little stiff and some of the grain of the leather was different. i went to the store and spoke to my salesman Louis and he explained it would break in and then feel like we expected and the grain, well that how it is and from looking at the floor sample it to was the same. So at this point we are good with the sectional. This is were it went from good to bad! I went back a week later to order the ottoman and brought in a sample of the leather and color code to match our sectional. I paid with our C/C and was told it would take 6 weeks and i would be sent sample of the leather from the factory that would be used to match for our approval Great!. Ten days later i get a call from my salesman Louis and he tells me he made a mistake that I should have paid by cash or check not a C/C for parts as they call it. He explaind that customers have canceled in the past because they changed their mind and were stuck with the order. I told i would like to speak with the owner. I get a call from the owner 15 minutes later and after going round and round with the owner he basically told me check or cash or no ottoman! I just spent $5300 with you and this is how you treat me! Ordered Canceled!! Seriously!!! I pay by C/C to protect our large purchases in the event something goes sideways as they sometimes do. I have never placed a custom or for anything where suddenly i decided i did not want it. Bad business practice and i will never recommend them and will tell people to stay away!! read more

Hi Jim, first of all the issues were never resolved back 2017, after the defective section pillow send to the manufacturer they never can fixed it!! Secondly, after only three months of using all different parts of thread start open seams as everyone can see from the pictures I post!! After your technician sew them, the same open thread issues keeps going on and on in different parts. I have to go to the Tustin store to ask to have people to fix the open seams and threads about months ago. Here we go again, I keep waiting to have the technician come over and he said it's the manufacturer's problems he can't even fix them now! He asks me to wait for the call now almost several weeks pass by no one ever called me!! Now I know after I read all the reviews in your three different locations stores, all the customers have been experiencing the same problems as I do. I wish I knew these early so I will never buy anything from your store. All I feel now it's a big scam store when I purchased the sofa back 2017 it was defective sofa, and the lesson with more than $5,000 I spend to learn is never shop in your store again! read more

We have never spent over $5,300.00 on a couch and love seat in our lives...and what a regret is was that we did it this time with Arizona Leather. Oh don't get me wrong, it's beautiful, but they DO NOT STAND behind their stuff...we bought the furniture on Aug 11,2018 they said it would take 8 weeks to receive them.. it took 6 weeks ( awesome) They delivered them and they looked fine but the next day my husband was looking over them closely and found 3 pin holes in one of the arms of the love seat... and the stitching was way off on the same arm .. not even straight... it took to Dec 6th to bring us a new arm... and when they did.. it did not match the texture of the rest of our couches... so they took it back.. We weren't going to have 3 arms looking one way and the 4th arm looking like it didn't belong...let's just say Corporate called today saying...either we take the arm or keep the one we have .. no if's or buts about it .. no other options... I asked them to put it in writing and was told that's not going to happen ... Done deal... I regret this purchase and I don't want you to have to go through what we did .. they delivered a damaged piece and the only option was to take the new arm made from a different batch of leather.. Corporate will not budge... by the way MIKE MILLER was his name... rude is not even the word to describe him...he was like a broken record.. I know he thinks I was rude...! I said what I had to say and said good bye... he said I was rude because I didn't let him talk after a few back and forth calls... so the next time I let him talk ... and he said the same recording as before ... we will not put it in writing.. and you have 2 options take the new arm or keep the damaged one.. The also get a good review from response by the owner of this store to my original review..I unfortunately had the displeasure of being helped by a very unprofessional salesperson. This person quoted a false price and tried to steal my business from an extremely reputable sales person from their store location in Irvine. Well when we purchased our sofa in 2015 we also purchased the montage insurance. Wow what a life saving decision. Our cat well let's say had an accident. Our sofa leather had been discontinued so any repairs were out of the question. So today we choose a new sofa and we pay for it with a 100% credit from our original purchase. We were talked into a leather sectional couch with reclining seats. They didn't have the color we really wanted, so we settled on something else. The day we took delivery we were disappointed. It just looked awful in our living room so we asked if they had a return policy if we didn't like what we purchased. BE ADVISED: if you don't like what is delivered upper management has to approve a return and the policy is they will give you store credit for half what you paid and you have to purchase more product from them of equal or greater value that what you want to return. If I didn't like it the first time, why would I like it the second time at one and a half times the original price? Also, their recliner couches are HUGE. Our barley fit through the front door and after we decided we didn't want it in our formal living room we tried to put it in our media room, however because it's over sized we couldn't get it through the door. This leather is indestructible! My parents owned Arizona Leather since I was a little girl, I recently made a purchase at the Tustin store from Hugh and Joe. They explained to me what real top grain leather is compared to imitation man-made materials. Which explains why my parents sofa kept going after 22 years! All the kids messes wipe right off of it and no scratches from all the dogs I have (which is an even better plus)! I am also very picky on colors for my sofa and they had a wide range of colors that it was even hard for me to decide but, with Hugh's help we found the perfect color for my home. These are great sofas and I will return soon for a couple of chairs! My husband and I had been shopping for sofa and loveseat and were at end of day when we made one more stop- Arizona Leather in Tustin - we were greeted by a very friendly Gentleman named Sam. We told him we were just looking so he left us alone - answered our questions but remained attentive without bothering - finally we found a couple of pieces that we liked - bottom line - Sam explained the process - one problem: we needed the sofa and loveseat by May 25, which was literally impossible- once again, Sam made it happen - he put a rush on them and continued to follow them through the manufacturing process and all the while he was calling me and updating me on their progress. I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE!!! The showroom furniture is comfortable but what came to my home not only wasn't comfortable, it didn't function properly and their service staff did absolutely NOTHING to resolve the issues!! The initial sales staff (in the store) are warm & friendly but once the furniture is in your possession, it's a different story. Don't be fooled by their recent post (I've read them). Go back and read the customers comments posted BEFORE Headquarters started pushing for the sales staff to get positive feedback. We didn't ask for our money back after discovering that the furniture wasn't up to par with what we expected. We only asked that they fix the obvious malfunctioning pieces of furniture delivered to us. We asked that it be done within the warranty period and they refused. They became insulting, condescending and extremely unprofessional. This was an extremely negative and disheartening and expensive experience. My husband and I bought our furniture 4 years ago and this review has been a LONG TIME coming. Upon receiving our 3 pieces, we couldn't help but notice that the furniture was a bit smaller than we expected. The color was correct but rubs off on the wall easily if recliner is too close. My real issues however were with the seats not reclining properly or at all. One part of the sofa was extremely difficult to recline and the swivel reclining chair would not recline without someone actually pulling it out to the reclining position. I brought it to the attention of the guys when it was delivered but they said that the furniture was just made and was a little stiff. They said with a bit of wear it would eventually glide more effectively. I signed for the furniture but once my husband came home later that evening, he insisted that it was unreasonable for the furniture to not function properly even if it was newly out of production. I called the company back on several occasions. They came out twice but with the same explanation of the furniture needing to be broken in. After several months of their being no change I called again to have someone come out only to be refused and given the explanation that one of the service guys noted that the furniture was working fine under the circumstances but still needed to be broken in. He said that our family was a bit on the petite side to break in the furniture under normal circumstances and that it would take longer. I don't know the size in pounds of the "average" family unit but certainly if our size was going to pose a problem, we should have been informed of this when making such a costly purchase. I spoke to a few of the staff members at the store where I made the purchase who insisted that none of the service (or lack there of) was acceptable and they made several attempts to work with the Manager in Chino to rectify these menacing pieces that did not properly operate. I was told that the person that I had been speaking to had several complaints but somehow seems to still work there. I was given another persons name but once on the phone with me, the Service Manager as well as the assistant became insulting and belligerent with their tone and remarks about my furniture. After continually telling us that we needed to wait and wait before they'd come out and check our furniture they finally said, "sure we'll come out after you pay us $75.00 to do so". This company should be ashamed of themselves for the lack of integrity shown to their customers. My husband and I waited many years before finally refurnishing our family room and paid a pretty penny for furniture that's only good to look at. It's not comfortable even with the additional cost we paid have all seats recline and it's heartbreaking to know that who we thought was a trusted name has such little regard for their customers. I wish I had taken the time to read the reviews on this company beforehand and put more effort into finding a company that does quality work that they stand behind from start to finish. As to why it has taken me so long to write my review, I really thought that after speaking with the people in the store that they would actually do the right thing. It was one of the people in the store who showed me how bad the other reviews were on the company and told me that the head office was pushing for them to get more positive in store reviews. I was also nosy enough to read a notebook that was left out on the desk with a memo that read the same thing. As soon as I'm able to figure how it can be shown on Yelp, I will post a video on the malfunctions. I do know how to post it to Facebook and I will do so and will continue to do so on every social media I can think of because no one should have to go through what we have. Until then, I hope that you don't get reeled in by the wonderful sales staff in the Irvine (now Tustin) location. We just received our 2 new couches from AZ Leather in Tustin Marketplace and couldn't be happier. This is the 2nd set we have bought from this store. The first set lasted for 15 years. We shopped around and kept coming back to AZ Leather. We just couldn't find the same solid structure and materials quality (or style) for the price. And these couches are American made. The sales guys that work there (especially Paul) were very helpful and have a no-pressure sales approach. The whole ordering experience was top-notch. We went to the new Arizona leather, close to the old location on Jamboree. Gilly helped us. We had done a lot of shopping around (including Lazy Boy which we thought would be our choice). We just couldn't find exactly what we wanted. We had been to other Arizona Leather stores in our process and kept coming back. We ended up with a plan in mind at the El Camino Arizona Leather store. We asked Gilly a lot of questions and changed our plan based on her knowledge of their product and all the different leathers in their vast selection. We have pets and spills are a problem in our home. We needed something that would last and look great. There were several customers in the store and Gilly and Paul managed to keep us all attended to. They were not high pressure and really knew their product. We purchased a 4 cushion 2 recliner couch and just received it. We are beyond happy with our purchase. We were looking for 2 recliner sofas and he made sure we knew the pros and cons of the manual versus the electric mechanism. We purchased a three section leather couch with motorized recliner in either side and manual recliner in the center. This cost us $3500. We were pretty stupid to believe all that was promised to us as to the "warranty" on this piece of furniture. The details of the couch and shape of the padding was never quite right from the factory. Have spent 3 half days waiting on the repair person to make the adjustments. Have given up now and just decided that what we have is as good as it gets. The most recent issue revolved around a broken "parachute" cord that's used to recline the center seat. I was told that the service call would cost $75 even though we were assured that Arizona leather would take care of any issues and all we would need to do was to make a call. What a bait and switch! Keep in mind that this couch is just about 2 years old. A steel cord should not break after just normal use. When calling Arizona initially, I was asked if we sat on the couch every day. That was to imply that if we used the couch to sit on every day that would be considered overuse. How ridiculous is this company and its customer service staff. In short they sent me the cord "for free" and I took it upon myself to install the cord. Without it the center portion of the couch would have been useless. This company was adamant that they will not cover the service call fee of $75. What a crock for a $3500 couch. Never again! I'm sorry that we had referred several friends to purchase couches. I hope that they never have repairs and have to deal with this company. read more

We have had our sectional sofa from Arizona Leather for almost 15 years. It's become an old friend to us and has seen daily use. This piece of furniture is well constructed and bulletproof! Recently we decided to have the cushions reconditioned with new fabric on the seats and new stuffing. My wife wanted to have a more firm feel as well. We visited the Tustin location and picked out the fabric, firmness for the cushions and backs and they immediately gave us a quote that was well within reason. They picked up our cushions and completed the job ahead of schedule. We now have what we consider a brand new sectional with the comfort that we imagined. I'm sorry I even have to give Arizona Leather one star, really, 0 stars is more accurate. Sales person was Paul Rangel. We went into the El Camino Real showroom in Tustin, wanting the best, we were sold a $5546 Salerno mesa couch and a Luxor recliner. Everything started off great, quick delivery and good looking leather, until we sat in the Luxor recliner. We were shown it in the store, and we sat in it, but never noticed that our feet hung way over the footrest. I clearly did not notice that our feet overhung about 5 inches, and would never have purchased this chair. I am 5'5, my husband is 5'8 and it is embarrassing to sit on the chair or have a guest sit on the chair, and it is poor for body support and head support if you cant allow your heels to be supported by the foot rest. Ridiculous to sit in a chair that cost $1499.00 that does not support you properly. Forget customer service, I literally made 10 phone calls to a person named Justin, and not one of my calls were ever returned. When I started to work with Paul Rangel, over my compliant, he was helpful at first, and told me that if he could get a one time approval, that we could return the Luxor recliner, and pay the difference on another recliner plus shipping, that would be suitable for our height. We were fine with this resolution, because I was prepared to spend a lot more on better chair. A few days later, Paul called us to let us know that this request was denied and unless we wanted to pay a 50% restocking fee, ( $750) and then pay for shipping and the difference for another chair, we are out of luck. I was so disappointed and heart broken. After purchasing the chair i looked closely at the dimensions of all the chairs and noted that the Luxor is the smallest chair, and should only be purchased in you are below 5'2. Such a disappointment and felt that our Salesperson could have represented this information, after all he should be knowledgeable about the product to sell it. .Paul misrepresented us. Buyer Beware, please be very careful with this company. They don't even pay on their lost law suits or judgments. Read all the customers complaints before you decide to by here or at any Arizona Leather Interiors. I cant even imagine spending so much money and made to feel unhappy or dissatisfied.
