I was referred here by a friend. I walked in and wanted to look at granite slabs for my kitchen and get some prices. They told me that they cannot give me prices as it's only for contractors but I can look at the granite and when I'm done picking out my granite they will give me granite fabrication and installer referrals. Once I picked out my top 3 granites I walked back into the showroom. Yvette was at the counter. I asked her for contractor names and she replied that they don't favor any contractor and they will not do me a favor by giving me names. Huh? What favor? So I told her the other lady said pick out your granite and we will give you names. Then she said again we cannot do favors the computer will randomly give out a few contractors names. Ok!! I don't undismayed what favor she's talking about it but not a very friendly place at all. They do have any slabs to choose from but if you're looking for help or prices you are at the wrong place. read more

My wife and I decided to choose Arizona Tile for Granite, floors and Back Splash for our new home In Menifee. I had seen prior reviews and was a little skeptical before hand and made the decision to give them a try, as you know most peoples reviews are stupid ! After spending time looking around we were greeted by Amanda Hays who after finishing with her clients came over and asked if she can help . Amanda took her time and guided us to choose everything we were looking for . She is very smart at her job and knows how to decorate and coordinate very well ! Amanda was also very fun and generally a very pleasant person to be around. Businesses now a days , don't have the luxury of finding decent help and Arizona Tile is BLESSED to have an employee like Amanda ! She will make a fantastic manager in the future . Also , don't just walk in and expect that the employees in the Show Room are just going to drop what they are doing with customers who came in before you did and come cater to you, that's not how it works my friends! This is where I saw most people complaining in reviews and how stupid are you ? I saw that everyone in the Show Room was VERY helpful to everyone , they just can't wait on everyone at the same time , RIGHT ! Sit down and wait a bit , just like my wife and I did and don't act ignorant ! They prefer you make an appointment , but if it is not busy when you walk in then you will get lucky just as we did . The contractor I used to install porcelain flooring recommended Arizona Tile. The staff are very helpful but not overly so, the showroom is well organized and there is a good selection of tile. I ended up buying three different styles of tile for my home from here. The tile is now installed. The quality is great and the entire experience was easy and trouble-free. Received order and things were missing from an order over $2K. Contractor called and the girl who answered that works in the back was RUDE and said he just wasn't seeing it and then some... I went in and spoke with the manager and he said it was in the order too. After debate he went in back, came back with order and he said due to Covid it was placed in with another order. SERIOUSLY!? They blame Covid for their incompetence. Also went to return a few tiles not used. They would not return after 2 days beyond their return date. NEVER AGAIN!!! read more

After looking at slabs alone with nobody offering to help me, I went to the Slab Order desk to ask questions and get pricing. Geoff was my ray of sunshine (insert major sarcasm here). Ok Another lack luster customer service experience at Arizona tile. This time I go in there with a client and my client complained to me what's wrong with that place. It feels like when you go in there like you're bothering them. Ask for a price and it's difficult as if they're not interested, do I need to go in there with money falling out of my pocket. I'm coming to drop money you know like $2K plus so try and seem interested. I think this is the last time I go into your store in Murrieta you guys just suck !! Please approach your customers with a smile offer to help and KNOW YOUR PRODUCT, all I ever get is that it seems like we're bothering you !! Wife and I just left... we stood there for 20 minutes without being helped. We finally decided to try standing at their order desk and the guy standing there simply stared at us without asking us anything another couple walked in and apparently their money was much better than ours because they got helped first.. we were finally ushered into their dismal showroom with very poor selection... needless to say they had nothing that appeal to us. Trust the poor ratings regarding their service and go somewhere else. We just came back from Emser Tile...the difference was night and day....between the great service and selection...we are much happier...Arizona Tile can take a lesson from Emser about how to treat people!! read more

I've browsed at this Az Tile store in Murrieta a couple of times and on both occasions I've had informative interactions with the staff. Today, however, was an off the charts terrific experience as Christina guided us through several product options needed for our bathroom remodel. Although we were satisfied with products we identified a week ago from an Az Tile in San Marcos, Christina, with her mild mannered sales approach, provided us with thoughtful alternatives to those selections. In the end we ended up liking her suggestions more. She was extremely patient in addressing both of our independent likes and dislikes, ultimately facilitating a welcomed consensus amongst my wife and me. Our experience with Christina could not have been any better as she truly loves what she does, is well-educated in the various products, is up to date on the latest design trends in addition to her likability and terrific people skills. As for those with not so great experiences ... you may want to call prior to your visit and introduce yourself, inform them of your needs and when you'd be stopping by. Just want to throw a big shout out to Shelley and Kari at Arizona Tile. My daughter and I went with so many choices from slab yards in Orange County and I always wind up going back to Arizona tile for all my remodeling needs for granite and tile. I've visited the showroom several times and knew that If I called and said I need help then someone would sit with me and help with design my new master bathroom. Not only did I get one person but two. They worked with me for a couple of hours !! I am sooo happy with the colors "we" chose. Choosing new tile, slabs, accent tiles is hard work. There are a lot of choices out there but what makes it great is when you get the customer service you really need to tie it all together. Although I usually go to their North County store, I ended up at Arizona Tile's Murrieta store on a recent Saturday afternoon because of my clients. The store was busy, and happened to be short-handed (and was even having problems with their computer systems), but we nevertheless received great service. The customer service people in the showroom were outnumbered by groups of customers but they still managed to circulate among everyone, answering questions and generally being helpful. At one point a staff member noticed that I had picked up some sample tile boards (to place against the slab), and she brought us easier-to-use tile boards before we even had a chance to ask for them. About 30" before closing, my clients and I decided to go ahead with "Meteor Shower" stone slabs. We had been working with Brad Lyda, and he had already pulled 2 slabs out for us, but we still wanted to see the other 4 in the bundle before we made our decision. Rather than giving us excuses, or asking us to make an appointment for another day, Brad just went ahead and had the requested slabs pulled and displayed for us, The staff's help enabled us to finish what we wanted to finish that day, which made our meeting a success. I've been to Arizona Tile several times before but I have never experienced the level of service my husband and I received from Ed Meyers yesterday. Ed listened to us and answered our questions. He explained to us how each type of material was different and the pros and cons of each. He took some time with us and that was much appreciated. We now know what direction we want to go with our kitchen. What is most memorable about this experience is that it wasn't about making a sale, it was about giving us the options and building a relationship. Shopped Bedrosian in San Marcos/Vista for a couple of hours with ZERO HELP, honest, you can't make that up! Ok, stuff happens, I'm there for the tile, right!? Maybe its was the layout but couldn't find that thing we LOVED for any price within budget. Went to Arizona Tile in Murrietta and it was the total opposite: Shelley and Shayna helped us find what we needed while multi-tasking, helping others too. We had time to discuss without someone on us every second- and that's really good thing! Yet they each were available with little more than a glance around to spot them; perfect! So many beautiful choices, it seemed as if they weeded out the so-so stuff. We found several viable choices and settled on three beautiful elements for our bath remodel in maybe 45 minutes. We are very pleased with the help we received from both great saleswomen, and the value. The delivery time was excellent too. Credit where its due, right? read more

Brad and Christine are the absolute best. To say they are helpful would be an understatement. Materials have arrived fairly quickly and Brad has done more than we anticipated on numerous occasions. The only thing Arizona Tile could do to improve is start stocking some more high end tiles, more modern styles. Their stock is very tried and true vs following the latest trends and styles. The Saturday crew were a bunch of a-holes. When I walked in and asked for will call I was told "not here look at the sign" so I looked at the sign and it said order desk. A-hole #2 was at the order desk where he sat in the office while I stood there for a bit to barely get helped with a side of attitude. Then it was off to a-hole #3 where there was no talking just confusion as to why he wouldn't put the pallet full of tile directly in the bed of my open truck with the fork lift he was driving I have no idea. read more

They have the best Granite slab yard in Town and their tile selection is pretty decent also. In most cases they can get the tile you want from their warehouse the next day which is a big plus when you need material quick or come up short. I visited Arizona Tile today for the first time. The entire experience was wonderful! From the selection of materials to the customer service, everything was top notch. I wondered and explored for just over 2 1/2 hours!!! There is so much to see and the various workers were so kind and helpful. They knew that I was not ready to make a final decision on my counter-top because I am waiting to get some final quotes from my contractor that will affect my decision. Rather than blow me off, Christine and Ed spent time with me explaining different aspects to the process, giving me pricing and suggestions. Plus we just had a nice time visiting for a while, too. We went in there looking for some counter top tiles. We had not even told the lady what we needed and she said we do not make that here. I told her hold on while i looked for the picture and she said i said not here. My mother felt very offended and we felt we got that treatment because we are Hispanics. There was nothing but white people in there. Arizona Tile you have been referred to us for remolding our kitchen but we will go else wheres, somewhere where we are treated as any customers would want to be treated. The CEO John Huarte should really be concerned that his Murrieta branch doesn't share the same customer service philosophy as the rest of the company. I'm a contractor that has been doing kitchen and bath remodeling for the past 18 years in So. Cal. I also had a showroom in Corona for about 5 years in the early 2000's. I used to send my customers to Arizona Tile in Anaheim to choose tiles prior to the Ontario and Murrieta branches openening. In fact I still have wine glasses with "Arizona Tile" engraved on them from the grand opening of the Ontario branch. Through the years my sales contacts at AZ Tile have come and gone and thus I stopped sending people to the Arizona Tile locations. Recently I had a customer go there on his own and he selected a few thousand dollars of tiles and a granite slab for his bathroom. To facilitate him, I updated my paperwork with AZ Tile and placed his order. There was an issue with the "Bill to" and "Ship to" addresses that Arizona Tile put for my addresses. They insisted in putting my personal home address on the customer's paperwork. When I called Yvette in Murrieta to try to get it fixed, she made a few comments such as asking if it was a fake address and other remarks. She finally said that their accounting dept would call me in the morning. About 30 minutes later Shawn McKenna called me. He basically said that their system was "set up that way, dude", and that it would be a hassle for them to make a change just for me. He said that he was the branch manager and their Murrieta branch does over $2 million in sales monthly and it wasn't worth it to him to take the time to fix the problem. He said "I guess you'll just have to do business somewhere else". WOW! What customer service! Since my customer took the time (a few hours) to select tiles from Arizona Tile, instead of sending them elsewhere, I went ahead and purchased them. Maybe my customer service philosophy is different than the one at the Murrieta branch. I bend over backwards for my customers, the Murrieta branch just says bend over. I would advise any contractor to send your customers elsewhere for tiles and slabs - as Shawn stated "you're not worth it anyhow". read more

Had to take the time to thank some people at Arizona Tile in Murrieta for all the help they have given us the last 5 months. Since we have never taken on such big projects it would have been difficult to figure out all the things that come with kitchen counter tops / backsplash remodels and floor tiling without Shaina and Christina. Both were great at understanding what we needed to do and pointing out important factors to consider. They are friendly, knowledgeable and greet us like friends. The best qualities representatives of a company can have. Also, all the guys at the ordering desk were helpful and easy to work with. Now with two major projects completed we are ready to start on bathrooms and will certainly utilize Arizona Tile for materials even knowing there are other choices in town. We just feel comfortable with them because we know the tile will be top quality, comparable prices and they are always willing to take time to make sure we are happy with our decisions. The only thing I might suggest is to reconsider the restocking fee on all returns. I can understand a big granite slab that takes several people to move but out of two projects I had one unopened box of tile less than a foot square in size. Did not seem too hard to restock.
