Five years ago I remodeled my kitchen and we used great tiles from Arizona Tile--it looked fantastic and tied in the cabinets & counters. One of the tiles got chipped by plumbers dealing with a problem. We went to Arizona Tile to see if they had more of the same tile. Lori, a Showroom Consultant, helped us try to find the same tile, spending time searching upstairs & down with only an IPhone photo to go by. She ended up giving us about 6 samples to try and match it & was very professional and congenial. They have great tiles to choose from but also took the time to try and help us find a replacement. If you're doing a remodel or new construction and feeling overwhelmed, stop by Arizona Tile. I was looking for backsplash for my kitchen remodel, and this place had it. They have nice model set ups upstairs to get a few ideas of options, and have plenty of nice samples downstairs on the ground level to check out without being totally overwhelming. Every staff person I interacted with was super nice and knowledgeable, extremely helpful and made me feel comfortable and at ease. They let me take home samples and offered up other samples I could take with me that they thought might be a good fit for what I was looking for. All our counter material for our project (kitchen, kitchenette, all bathroom vanities), bathroom floor tile, shower floor tile, and various grout materials came from Arizona Tile. As the photos show, it turned out great and we could not be happier with the finished product featuring the quartz in linen color and the terrazzo floor tiles. The showroom and product selection process was second to none. And the customer service experience was literally perfect. On all of the above my tile and counter fabrication subcontractors had errors and needed to add overage material orders, so I'm guessing I had a solid dozen interactions with AZ Tile along the way, all A+. Marta was running lead but literally everyone I ever dealt with was sharp, friendly, customer service oriented and efficient. It is clear to me that this company has excellent training, systems and people in place to ensure a consistent high quality customer experience to go with the beautiful product. The remodel market was historically busy during my project (1/2020-10/2020). I worked with dozens of overworked vendors and subcontractors over this period, and it was generally chaotic, disorganized and very frustrating. AZ Tile was a distinct outlier and star performer in this regard - an absolute pleasure and breath of fresh air! Not only do they have a great, quality selection, but they are fabulous at helping you design and choose what's best for your space. Great experience here. My tile guy suggested this location and of course I didn't listen and went to another location near Los Angles since i was in that area. The customer service was very good, but it seemed like the lady who helped me didn't want to help me decide on any particular direction for my small bathroom remodel. The samples I took looked all wrong in the space. So, I went to the AZ tile on Morena Blvd. and "Gene" was awesome. The store was very busy but she took time to ask me questions about my space and wasn't afraid to say the pictures of model bathrooms I had brought in would looked "busy." Once she said that, I thought, you know, "she's right." I wanted a calming bathroom to walk into and she helped me make some selections that my designer loved. The show room is also set up great. They have easily 20-30 model bathrooms set up so you can get different ideas. Back to customer service. The store was pretty busy and I could see that Gene was noticing the other customers and greeting them while still helping me and giving my questions attention and giving me good feedback. If I were one of the other customers, I would appreciate that. It's a business and I think when a store is busy it's important to greet people and let them know you see them and appreciate them and you'll be with them ASAP. Or if you can answer a quick question, do that and come back to the person you are helping. I understand that type of situation from both sides. She didn't impose her taste on me. She helped me articulate mine and adapt it to my space. Parking can get a little tight I think at certain times, but I live in Los Angeles most of the time, so trust me it's not that bad. But maybe call ahead to find out a good time to come in. Or if you feel that you need more attention (as I did) call ahead and tell them, "hey is there a good time to come in when it's less busy--I am lost." Tile selection can get overwhelming, better to embrace that and ask for help, and be understanding if they are busy. I think people use Yelp to bully businesses and I can't believe one of their reviewers made personal comments about the sale people. That's totally uncalled for. read more

We found the quality and selection of tile and associated products available at Arizona Tile on West Morena Boulevard to be remarkable. The showroom is spacious, it covers two floors. This location of Arizona Tile is centrally located, easy to find, and has abundant parking. During our visits to the showroom, Jean and the entire showroom staff were helpful, professional, and friendly, without being overbearing. Making design selections at this Arizona Tile was an excellent experience for my wife, our son, and me. The showroom team at this location clearly takes pride in their products; they have an impressive product and design knowledge, and they clearly value the importance of customer service excellence. After taking some samples home, we returned to the showroom the next week with questions and the desire to see more options. Jean made sure that we were equipped with the necessary education and product choices, allowing us to make the best selections to meet our design objectives. She helped guide us to the perfect products to achieve, and exceed, our goals for our upcoming bathroom renovations. At first, we were overwhelmed by the number of available product options. Jean brought calm to our design storm with expert guidance and advice. Shopping at Arizona Tile was comfortable; we were never made to feel rushed or pressured. AZ Tile has a nice selection of tile, but I will NEVER go back to the Morena location. I went in with a large paint chip book that had several colors marked with tags and was obviously being used diligently. It was difficult to take pictures of wall samples with the book, so I set it down a couple of times. After about 20 minutes of browsing the entire store a few times and taking a few snapshots, I realized that I no longer had the paint chip book. It belongs to my contractor so of course; I search the store but can't find it. I asked the male salesperson, whose response was, "Oh, hope you find it." (Thanks a lot!) After about 5 more minutes of searching while they watched, I asked the woman at the center counter (when she finally acknowledged my presence). She said in a rather disappointed tone, "We took that to the back." What??? Everyone there saw me fumbling with this paint chip book. A couple of customers even offered assistance. (Never a salesperson) They found something that OBVIOUSLY belonged to someone who was STILL IN THE STORE, and they hid it??? So she took her sweet time creating as much small talk as she could muster with another customer before she begrudgingly strolled to the back to retrieve my contractor's paint chip book. I bit my tongue and decided to just get the heck out of there only to find that a semi-truck full of tile had blocked me in. Unfortunately, I had to return to inform them. The response from the male salesperson was, "Oh, you're stuck." Um - NO I'M NOT! Go get the driver and move the ****ing truck, THANK YOU! NEVER, EVER AGAIN!!! read more

Instead of going the Home Depot route when I recently renovated my bathroom! I decided to go to Arizona Tile, you know the kind of store with GREAT Customer service, design assistance and " knock your socks off" service...WRONG! My first visit to the showroom was not great and I should have turned around and left. The salesperson told me to "look around". Yes, they do have a nice display and selection of tile, but the salesperson was borderline rude & dismissive.( I wonder what she thinks she's hired for?). Without going into too much detail, the order was wrong....both orders of 2 different tiles. I might add that I'm in the design business, so I had an idea of the issues involved. Their sales help could have avoided one of the errors for sure..... the 2nd error, well I, the customer, got blamed for it. Blaming the customer & then the installers for not noticing? How could they know the color choice of tile in the box was not my choice? It was good tile, just not the colors I wanted and had ordered. To be fair, I was refunded a partial cost of tile, but who wants the freakin' refund? I didn't get what I wanted....so it was really not much of a consolation. Next time I'll go to Home Depot, I am sure I will have a better experience. read more

I wish I could give these guys 20 stars. They have been a breath of fresh air throughout the process of trying to remodel our bathrooms! The store is very organized, prices are clear, the staff is EXCEPTIONALLY friendly and helpful and overall it's just my favorite place to go to for tiles. They make everything so easy as far as the ordering process and you can return most items if you don't need them or use them! I worked with Marta today just picking up a few odd ends for our project and she was truly wonderful! I'm so happy with them and will continue shopping here and refer whoever I know! Just note that it's REALLY hard to find. Call the store beforehand and get specific directions or else you'll spend so much time driving in circles! read more

I will not amend my review at all for this location despite the owner reply. The woman could at least have offered to price out slabs on her computer or ask if there was anything else I needed. I am an interior designer and I make a lot of purchases from Arizona Tile. But this showroom by far is one of the worse showrooms I have ever been to. I have tried them 3 times. Aside from very hard access from the street to this store, and its very confusing parking setting, every time I walk in there I feel very unwelcome. They give you the samples, yes but with a severe attitude. They simply ignore your presence at the store. I have never felt this in any other Arizona Tile store. read more

The good: The showroom is nicely put together, they have great tile and decent prices. The woman who helped me in the showroom was fairly nice and helpful, though getting assistance wasn't very easy. The reason why I'm writing this negative review is that I've had bad experiences with the order/pick-up desk both times I've gone to pick up an order. Their weekend hours are terrible. They close at 1PM on Saturday and are closed on Sunday. You think you can work around this and then life happens. When I picked up my first order, the associate behind the counter was just plain surly. Nothing terrible, but I felt like I was intruding on his day by coming to pick up my tile. When I asked if all of the locations had the same weekend hours and mentioned that it must be tough for people to get their tile on the weekend, he said that he sometimes stays open for 20-30 minutes longer. Which I thought was actually kind of nice. When I came to pick up my second order about a month later, I called to check on whether my order had actually come in. I called at 12:45, thinking that they closed at 2PM rather than 1PM. The same associate answered the phone (I recognized his voice) and told me that it was in. I said great and asked "You guys close at 2PM, right?" He replied "No, ma'am, we close at 1PM." I told him I'd be right there and might be 5 minutes late and he replied "We close at 1PM, ma'am." Nothing more than that. No "Sorry I can't stay 5 extra minutes. I would if I could." He couldn't be bothered to even pretend that he cared about a customer. Pretending would have been fine. I would have been disappointed that my bathroom project was stalled out for the weekend, but I would have shrugged it off. And I can guarantee you that I'd be writing a 5 star review right now if he'd stayed the extra 5 minutes I would have needed to pick up the 10 tiles I needed to finish my bathroom. In short, go to this location of Arizona tile if you don't mind being treated like dirt or you can send someone else to pick up your tile. read more

Working through a home remodel, like most, I've had my share of disappointing experiences. From contractors not meeting expectations to suppliers in the San Diego area not providing even a modicum of good service. NOT SO with Arizona tile. These people are true professionals with a close eye on customer satisfaction. I want to mention one person in particular, Marta Sipan. It seems she really cares and works hard for the customer and Arizona Tile. She is quick to respond, professional in her approach to the customer and a subject matter expert. When we walked in the two ladies at the desk, one by the name of Jenna were too concerned about their own conversation to even care about us which were ready to spend quite a bit of money! We even had to ask Jenna for help twice and the other older lady who looked like she had a rough night was then too busy looking at her paycheck stub and doing calculations about her paycheck stub to even help customers! I told my mom that she better not spend a penny at this business and made her go somewhere else to buy everything! Save yourself a headache and go somewhere else because until these employees are replaced then you will be wasting your time, gas and hard earned money!!!!!!! read more

The bad rating I'm giving has nothing to do with the product. That was great. The problem is with the people there who have no idea what the warehouse hours are. I don't have a large truck so I had to make arrangements to rent/borrow one. This would be no problem except that when they loaded one pallet in my truck, and told me to come back for the other one, they said I could pick up anytime until 5. It was a wonderful surprise to find out upon returning that their warehouse closed at 4:00 but their showroom closed at 5:00. When the lady I spoke with saw that I was visibly upset, she offered the information that they would be open at 7:30 on the following morning. Not even close. They opened at 9:00. I'm not sure why their reps don't know what time they open and close. Very frustrating. read more

The people who work here are very friendly and always have helpful suggestions about tile designs. The tile selection itself is quite impressive, ranging from low-end budget tile to high-quality fancy tile. Plus, their website makes it easy to browse their selection at home (hint: use Photoshop to experiment with ideas). The only problem I have experienced at this location is that they are a little inconsistent about giving contractor discounts. read more

In the past year, I have been to this location about 5 times to get materials for various remodels in my home. They have a great selection of tile and they have a larger warehouse in O.C., so most of their tile (if it's not popular) can be received in less than a week. Just make sure you check with the order desk before you set your heart on a specific mosaic/tile/stone. The employees at the order desk are very helpful. They can tell when you're not a tile-setter or a GC and it is great. They are always willing to explain which product is better for different purposes and why. Their location is kind of weird and difficult to get to at first...but it's so strange that you won't forget it once you've made the journey. Only once did I not receive good service from a sales person in the front. read more
