I needed movers quickly (within a few days) and Ark responded with a quote that ended up being less than the competition. They had me fill out paperwork and gave me a 1-hour window of when they would arrive. Easy. On move day, they arrived in their window and got to work immediately. If I had any questions or concerns, I brought them up, and it was dealt with immediately. The thing I noticed about how they moved my stuff was that they weren't just throwing my stuff around, but placing things. I am absolutely okay with that after having gone through two other moves where my items suffered the consequences. The move into my new place was a little slower because I was on the second floor and there was a little bit of a journey before that. They worked hard with the same amount of care the whole time--from start to end. I should have been more realistic with the amount of stuff I had and gotten the package with three movers instead of two. An oversight I should have caught or would have been caught with a pre-move survey. I am not complaining though. TLDR: Fast and efficient movers that demonstrate care for the items they're moving. BEST BEST BEST moving experience I've ever had, and yes, I've moved a lot. These guys are absolutely the most professional, courteous and CAREFUL movers ever. They were very diligent to wrap up all of our furniture and any other items that were not already wrapped up. They brought blankets, plastic wrap, everything needed to properly protect our items and secure it in their moving truck. They were SO careful with all of our things, treating it like their own. We had extended family over to help during moving day, and they were so impressed with Ark Moving that they got their contact information and said they would definitely use they if/when they moved in the future! The best part about these movers is they really took no breaks during the move and they were moving at a quick pace too! They were just boom boom boom going going going and the only time they stopped was when they were done loading and they used the restroom before driving to the next destination. No dinged up walls, no dinged up or broken furniture, no taking long breaks during the move, none of that. I had NO problems whatsoever with these guys and I cannot say enough nice things about them. They had the most reasonable rates and they did NOT charge me extra to move an extra long distance. Other companies give you good rates, but only for "in town" moves. My move was definitely not an in town move and I still got a great rate, better than other companies' "in town" move rates. I looked on Yelp and purposely went with these guys because they had only good reviews but not too many reviews. To me, this means they are a new company and are trying hard to earn a good reputation so I knew this was their own company and they were doing the work themselves and not farming it out to subcontractors.
