Inside has lots of sitting areas, but it does get filled fast with people who want to relax and study or read a quiet book to themselves. There's seasonal drinks are delicious, but I stick to my tried and true- Beez Kneez I had a little modification of a little extra honey, and a few splashes of heavy cream. If you ever tried and loved the Bell milk from La La Land, you'll know why I quickly became addicted to adding heavy cream too all my coffees lol Everyone there is always so friendly and quick to recommend things if you're deciding between two different drinks. Inside, the shop is fairly narrow but offers a good amount of both indoor and outdoor seating. I arrived with a friend a little before 11 am on a Sunday, and it was absolutely packed. A biking group was posted up outside, students were inside working on homework, even though most colleges have not started yet, and plenty of other patrons were taking their Sunday mornings easy. Despite having at least 10 to 15 people in front of us, the line moved pretty quickly. My friend who was more of a regular at the shop knew a lot of the staff and had convos with them. It feels like a little community! I ordered the Maple Sausage Croissant sourced from Sugar Loaf Bakery along with a hot Purple Haze latte made with lavender and vanilla syrup. My drink came out fairly quickly, and I thought it was great. It was well balanced and not overly sweet. As for the Maple Sausage Croissant, it was exactly what it sounded like, a maple sausage tucked into a croissant. I initially expected the croissant itself to be maple flavored, similar to a McGriddle, but it was still fresh and enjoyable. They had been keeping them warm in a heater throughout the morning, which definitely helped. I have stopped by 1418 Coffee a few times when visiting Dallas, and I plan to keep returning. The egg salad had some sugar and condensed milk added to the filling. This made it taste great. The service was excellent. We had our sandwiches in a few minutes. The decor is so bright and colorful. We quickly perused the remaining pastries and chose a dark chocolate croissant for me as well as a milk chocolate cannoncino for the kids to share. I added a medium, hot, almond milk latte to the order. The pastries were served in a cute white box, rather than being thrown into a paper bag like other places do. I'm happy to say they stayed intact or the drive home. The croissant was warm and the cannoncino chilled. The croissant was dense, not fluffy or flaky, there was almost a doughiness to it. It was packed with chocolate and I could tell it was dark chocolate. I wasn't a fan of the dense dough and after a few bites I was done. The kids both tried to finish it but said it tasted lemon-y and weren't fans. The kids liked the chocolate and pastry of the cannoncino. At first sip the latte tasted good. Well balanced espresso and almond milk. However, after the foam settled the cup was maybe 3/4 filled and my stomach got really upset within a few minutes of drinking the latte. Not sure if it's the type of almond milk used or if the cup used to steam the almond milk had previously been used for cow's milk, but either way it didn't sit well for me. I'm glad we tried Palmieri and would definitely recommend it to others. It's an out of the way spot that has plenty of indoor seating and decent parking too. The service is friendly and welcoming and there are a lot of drink options and food choices as well.

Especially when I'm in Plano. If I'm watching a movie in Plano and it's not in English, then I want Dubs. This is a very unique and different kind of place, which basically sells all kinds of nice lemonades. Barbi like several of the flavours - such as the watermelon. We tried a lot of different stuff, and they were the friendliest people imaginable. Honestly I'm not really into American style lemonade anymore because it's a little too sweet, but if I was, this would be my favourite place in Dallas. So I guess I would give it more of a 4-star rating because it's local and its innovative, except that it has some of the friendliest service in Dallas, especially considering they were 5 minutes away from closing and still wanted to give us samples of "Everything Under the Sun" (figuratively). So bearing that in mind, I most definitely have to give them a very handsome 5-star rating.
