I'd say I would have hope the texture of the waffles were a bit more soft, but overall still good. The staff that helped me was super sweet, and service was fast. The space is actually a lot bigger on the inside than it looks on the outside. Plenty of seating - big space to enjoy your treats and coffee, study, place games, etc.

All that aside, the coffee was well prepared, staff were great and I didn't end up with a massive caffeine high - despite ordering the double the caffeine bean. You order from a giant touchscreen rather than from a barista, which felt like a lot of work. Doable, but part of my coffee experience usually involves asking questions and getting advice from the person who knows the roasts and the drinks best - the barista.

The cappuccino was ok, but pretty bitter. I had to add lots of sugar to offset that. The biggest issue was the food. I love avocado toast. It's always a favorite for me to order when I can. In the photo it looked like it would be good with a bit of scrambled eggs on top. What I received was bread, not at all toasted, a thin layer of avocado that tasted like it had been sitting around for a while or it came out of a can. There was no vibrant green color to it. There was a LOT of arugula on it that dominated the flavor and the top of the scramble wasn't fully cooked. I scraped off the uncooked part, but, because of how old the avocado tasted, I couldn't eat more than about 1/2 of it before I just gave up. Definitely don't recommend the Avocado Toast. I forgot to snap a photo. I would encourage them to revisit this recipe. Avocado Toast should be crunchy toast topped with lots of very fresh smashed or sliced avocado and a fried egg on top.
