Need better quality to go cups. The cup keeps collapsing in my hand. I wish I had time to eat in...great atmosphere and seating

Armor Coffee is my new favorite coffee AND sandwich shop! Tried to go into the store today but it was covered up in people, so instead drove through. The space is beautiful inside, so I recommend trying to get a table, if possible. Fortunately they had not one but two lattes of the month to try...Honey Vanilla, which was not as sweet as it sounds, but perfectly flavorful and smooth...my wife got the Cookie Butter, which was the sweeter of the two, but not overwhelming so. Thumbs way up on both! The sizing was different than I thought. I ordered a medium but that was 16 oz or about four more than I needed and I would gladly have drank them, however, decided why look for another restaurant for lunch and try an Armor sandwich or two. I had the Turkey and Avocado on sourdough and my oh my, the only disappointment was that I finished it, and I am now looking at my schedule to see when I am able to cruise back up to Armor! My wife got the Grown Up Grilled Cheese and she batted my hand away when I was trying to sneak a bite. She said it was outstanding. Guess I will take her word on that. Anyway, do yourself a favor and head to Armor. If you are near the outlets, Whole Foods, or Super Target, you are within easy striking distance. read more

This was my first time visiting Village Coffee. Was excited to try Village Coffee after seeing their reviews. But unfortunately I wasn't pleased my with drinks. Maybe it was the type of coffee they used and the syrups. But it just didn't sit well with me and I did not like the taste. I got a 12oz Matcha Latte with Almond milk & 16oz Honey Vanilla Latte with Almond Milk. I felt both drinks were a waste of money for me today. read more

First time at Armor Coffee and tried the Royal latte and cookie butter. Both were excellent and the staff was friendly and engaging. Food was excellent as well, far better than those microwaved breakfast at that "other" coffee place. Well done. read more

Their coffee is okay, too much syrup is used and they don't have a lot of drink options. I prefer Duino or Summermoon. Much tastier coffee and their pulls are done better. Not a lot of tea options, either. Their Macha and Chai teas are terrible. It just seems like their employees don't know how to make a good cup of coffee (or tea), lack of common sense in making the recipes. Their food choices are kind of blah, too. The only food option I sorta like is their turkey pesto breakfast sandwich on an English muffin, but most of the time they don't have the ingredients or it's not the same. I sometimes go here because I support veteran business. If it wasn't for that, I probably wouldn't go. read more

DO NOT GO unless you are being helped by the manager you will not receive respect at all. I went to the drive through today and when I asked about the macchiato's the girl taking my order was like snickering and said "like Starbucks?" literally 2 times for no reason! It was like she was trying to degrade me for asking about that specific coffee, and I was super confused. When I got to the front, she forgot my drizzle and so I asked her about it and she SAID THEY DIDNT HAVE ANY which ended up being a complete lie because the manager gave me some not 3 minutes later! I don't really know why I was treated so poorly, maybe I am not enough of a coffee snob to go here..... I understand how annoying customers can be, I am a manager myself at a restaurant, but if you cannot control yourself you NEED to find a new job. read more

Great, quaint coffee shop! I was looking for a good place to study and this is a great spot! I found a vacant table near the fireplace and the sweet little built in bookshelf. There are outlets everywhere you need them which is a bonus! The staff were very friendly and laid back and professional! This was my first time here and I am very pleased! I ordered a Chai tea latte with almond milk, a jalapeño kolachi and a resees cookie. The tea and kolachi tasted great! I will be working on the cookie soon. Best almond milk Latte I've ever had in my life... something about the flavor of their house roasted espresso beans are out of this world tasty. Literally the best. Prices are def a little high across the board, but I def come here to treat myself as the staff is amazing, friendly, and always a pleasure to interact with. We came here for breakfast and had the cookie butter latte and the macadamia nut latte both were great and not too sweet! We also got the OG breakfast sandwich and the smoked Turkey egg white sandwich! Both were phenomenal, the sausage on the OG sandwich was exceptional in my opinion! It's definitely a local watering hole because in the 45mins I was there, there was a constant stream of people both inside and in the drive through. Disappointed. Dropped by with my boyfriend for an afternoon due to all the great reviews, only to find a barebones type establishment with a very long line and an almost low budget style school cafeteria setting. Nothing like the initial impression I got online. Not really your go-to for a cozy sit-down experience over a good cup of coffee. More like an awkwardly expensive coffee shop propped by tacky decor and overblown reviews. We didn't bother staying. Left for somewhere else. read more

Been going to this location since it was the village. I was hesitant when I heard they got a new owner since I loved the small business coffee. But Armor Coffee stepped up to the plate. I loved that they kept the staff. The staff here is amazing! They learn the name and your favorite drinks. Such a homey atmosphere. I just wish they opened 15 minutes earlier each day. Working at the near by ice rink they open right when we have to be on the ice. Coffees great, foods great and the staff is phenomenal!! read more

Some complain about having to wait in line but those customers clearly don't care about the quality of service or coffee. Both of those things are worth the wait ! I tried their signature "Kambucha" drink a few months after asking the barista what they would recommend since it was my first time. It was not good and I had planned on not returning. 6 months later (today) I tried their frozen white mocha/toffee nut frappe and it was AMAZING. Maybe the best frozen drink ever. I can honestly tell you that this coffee shop is without question, the very best coffee shop I have ever been to. They are beyond accommodating for all their customers. Armor Coffee has exceptional vegan milk alternatives as well. Only come here if you have bougee tastes, and have a decent pocketbook. If you want real ingredients, use Armor Coffee. But, if you don't really have standards, and are ok with fake ingredients, you'd be better suited with that certain huge coffee chain. I can honestly tell you that negative reviews are from either: competitors, or those that frankly don't have very good taste. One small suggestion: this little hard chairs are terrible-- you need more squishy, comfortable chairs. read more

I follow the Todryk family on Instagram and have been wanting to visit their coffee shop for some time now. It did not disappoint. When I arrived, the line was almost to the door but the amazing staff quickly got through all the orders. Customers that were in line were all abuzz about Jen's show on HGTV and were eyeballing the merch for purchase. The guy in front of me mentioned that they tried to get on their show but it was all full. This normal coffee shop was definitely infamous because of Jen. I had to try the cookie butter latte that everyone raves about. I got mine with oat milk and it was pretty good. Not amazing, but good. It could have had more flavor so I would recommend an extra pump or two. I had the avocado toast which was great! Probably one of the best I've had. My friend got the OG. While it was small, she said it was tasty. If you are a fan of the Todryks, this would be a good place to frequent. If you don't know who they are, it would seem like just another coffee spot to hang. read more

Their prices are better than Starbucks- they even offer bottomless drip coffee for $3.50! I'm not the hugest fan of the interior, it's very bright. But, the staff is very friendly, they have Apple Pay, and they have plenty of seating. read more

LOVE ARMOR. Staff is very friendly, welcoming, and knowledgable about the selections. They have an amazing Horchata Cold Brew, which I highly recommend if you want a strong, delicious coffee that is not over-sweet. Environment inside the shop is also very comfortable with plenty of seating options available and very Instagram-able. I love seeing new independent coffee shops. Great layout, people and atmosphere. That said, it blows my mind to see a residential Bodium grinder for the pour overs. And I'm not surprised when it wouldn't work and I had to switch to an espresso based drink. I understand your new and starting out, but please step up to a commercial grinder. Their espresso is similar to Starbucks, over roasted burnt tobacco in flavor, not for me. They did refund the pour over and give me the cappuccino for free, which is an example of great customer service. I'll try the pour over next time. Also please put the roast date and where your beans are from in your whole bean roasted coffee. read more

Simply not consistent or good....Which is sad because Allen could use a good coffee spot. We like it better when it was Village Coffee.

Went through the drive thru and ordered an iced cookie butter latte. I was a little nervous it wouldn't be good but it tasted so good! I'd say hands down better than Starbucks. My go-to drink at Starbucks was a white chocolate mocha but this might be my new drink! It was the perfect combo of a latte with a little bit of sweet but not too much. Some other coffee shops I've tried will make the lattes super dry if you get what I mean. This was perfect! read more
