Was staying across the street for a business meeting and saw the coffee place on the drive in. Made note to go back for coffee the next morning. Looked online and saw they do coffee flights. Decided to give that a try, with the seasonal flavor option. Currenly, that included peppermint mocha, salted caramel latte, banana bread chai and s'mores cold brew. I liked the caramel and s'mores but the syrups needed to be stirred in more. The banana bread chai was great. Went back the next day and grabbed a cookie butter latte before meetings started. Was surprisingly not overly sweet. Would definitely recommend stopping in!

I stopped by Armor in the evening with a friend and loved how spacious and welcoming the place was. There were plenty of comfy looking furniture to sit on as well as a small outdoor patio. They had some pastries that looked yummy as well. Our barista was friendly and our order came out quickly. I went with the London fog in a medium which was delicious. I appreciated that the drink wasn't overly sweet and the prices are affordable. They have a seasonal drink menu which is fun for the holidays. If I'm ever in the area, I look forward to returning.

I returned here today after a long hiatus from being one of my favorite shops (I left because it was getting a bit crowded). I got a promotion in the app for a free drink, so of course returned. I was pleasantly surprised by the new breakfast items on the menu, especially these incredible Potato Chive Eggs Bites that are TO DIE FOR. Not only do you get three, but they come with a dill? based "Envy sauce", and they taste homemade, just like your momma would make. Way better than that other, overrated coffee shop that everybody flocks to. YUM. Will return!

I looooove this place! Had it for the first time after an event, as this location is next to the Event Center. I had an iced pumpkin spice latte, an iced matcha, and a chocolate banana loaf. Everything was so perfectly delicious and well crafted! Perfect portions, I mean seriously delicious. It is such a cute spot, too! There's this little room with a table in chairs in it where you can rent it for whatever you'd like. There's plenty of seating both indoor and outdoor. The staff was friendly and there's also a drive through. They handled the amount of us that walked in very very well, no messing up a single drink, it seemed. Can't wait to visit again!

Stopped by this coffee shop after a big lunch to unwind and sip some coffee, and I'm so glad we did! They offer coffee flights, which is a fun way to sample different flavors. We tried Cookie Butter, White Sands, White Lavender, and Honey Vanilla. All unique and delicious in their own way. For me, White Sands was the standout! Smooth, balanced, and something I'd definitely order again on my next visit. Great spot, cozy atmosphere, and a perfect place to relax over a good cup of coffee.

The setting here is so cozy & fun!! The staff is wonderful and literally told us today "as long as we have it, you can have whatever you would like". They are so accommodating and kind! The drinks are tasty and perfect and the food is so yummy. We have gone through the drive thru several times and eaten inside a couple times. We love the games, coloring sheets and crayons for the kiddos. We will definitely be back!! Their beans are my favorite to make espresso at home too, they grind so well and taste like I am at a coffee shop even at home.

I've frequented Armor enough now to confidently update my review. I really enjoy Armor Coffee, I only wish there was more indoor seating! The Bacon Breakfast Tacos are my favorite followed by their chocolate chip cookies, which are good but amazing when warmed. The cold brew is strong and tasty and their creative lattes sound delicious although I enjoy a plain ol' almond milk latte. The service is usually pretty cheerful and quick and I really enjoy that they have coloring pages and crayons for kiddos. Although, it's hit or miss if you'll actually find a table to sit at when you arrive - the indoor seating is tight and most tables are usually taken by people with computers. Likely due to the free wifi. My favorite part of Armor is their drive thru!! It's actually quick and the service is always great. I've never had a messed up order and my food/drinks are hot. If you're visiting for the nostalgia of following Jen on her IG Rambling Redhead page or No Demo Reno, you'll be happy to find a handful of merch from t-shirts, to cups, mugs and stickers available for purchase. They started a loyalty rewards program a year or so ago and it's not that great. I guess something is better than nothing though

I really dislike leaving reviews but maybe they will improve with some CC and listen to customers. About 5 years ago Armor was consistent with quality and taste, but lately its not been up to par. I'm pretty familiar with coffee shops, coffee, and quality but after a handful of visits with me having to go to another coffee shop afterwards I had to write a review. I love supporting small businesses and hope y'all improve the quality of the drinks and succeed.

One of my favorite coffee spots when in Allen. I like their espresso and they don't burn there beans. I love trying seasonal drinks here and I really like their seasonal waffles. They're always a fan favorite for my kiddos.

I adore Jenn Todryk! I was so stoked to visit her coffee shop. I knew it would be next level design, superb coffee and hospitable service. In baseball, batting .300 is amazing. So if we're using that, Armor is a homerun. But I'm not using that. The live plants were the only exceptional design element. The coffee was akin to those gas station latte dispensers. But the service personnel were very friendly and accommodating. There was ample seating, including casual community-based seating - like couches, etc. And there was a special room that I assume is available for meeting space, etc. The shop was filthy - crumbs and partial cookies in the second tier of the coffee table, a quite dirty floor, a malfunctioning toilet. Very disappointing. I think this might be a result of just setting my hopes too high. I did find out there was a new location in Wylie - so I visited there, as well. It was cleaner and the design was more in line with what I was hoping for from an HGTV star. But my latte was burnt and my wife's soda was total syrup, no carbonation. I'd only go there if I wanted an average or less experience. Sorry Jenn! I still love you!

Armor coffee is a chain, I believe. They have a drive thru, plenty of seating, and a private room that I'm guessing you can rent out. I got a SF white chocolate latte in large. $7, but at least the cup is a true large unlike toner coffee shops charging that for 12 oz. It's in corner next to Pie Five for reference.

First time at Armor Coffee and tried the Royal latte and cookie butter. Both were excellent and the staff was friendly and engaging. Food was excellent as well, far better than those microwaved breakfast at that "other" coffee place. Well done. read more

Their coffee is okay, too much syrup is used and they don't have a lot of drink options. I prefer Duino or Summermoon. Much tastier coffee and their pulls are done better. Not a lot of tea options, either. Their Macha and Chai teas are terrible. It just seems like their employees don't know how to make a good cup of coffee (or tea), lack of common sense in making the recipes. Their food choices are kind of blah, too. The only food option I sorta like is their turkey pesto breakfast sandwich on an English muffin, but most of the time they don't have the ingredients or it's not the same. I sometimes go here because I support veteran business. If it wasn't for that, I probably wouldn't go. read more

DO NOT GO unless you are being helped by the manager you will not receive respect at all. I went to the drive through today and when I asked about the macchiato's the girl taking my order was like snickering and said "like Starbucks?" literally 2 times for no reason! It was like she was trying to degrade me for asking about that specific coffee, and I was super confused. When I got to the front, she forgot my drizzle and so I asked her about it and she SAID THEY DIDNT HAVE ANY which ended up being a complete lie because the manager gave me some not 3 minutes later! I don't really know why I was treated so poorly, maybe I am not enough of a coffee snob to go here..... I understand how annoying customers can be, I am a manager myself at a restaurant, but if you cannot control yourself you NEED to find a new job. read more

Great, quaint coffee shop! I was looking for a good place to study and this is a great spot! I found a vacant table near the fireplace and the sweet little built in bookshelf. There are outlets everywhere you need them which is a bonus! The staff were very friendly and laid back and professional! This was my first time here and I am very pleased! I ordered a Chai tea latte with almond milk, a jalapeño kolachi and a resees cookie. The tea and kolachi tasted great! I will be working on the cookie soon. Best almond milk Latte I've ever had in my life... something about the flavor of their house roasted espresso beans are out of this world tasty. Literally the best. Prices are def a little high across the board, but I def come here to treat myself as the staff is amazing, friendly, and always a pleasure to interact with. Love the house plants everywhere for purchase too. Overall one of the best quality coffee shops I've been to in the US for sure!!! ARMOR UP!! read more

We came here for breakfast and had the cookie butter latte and the macadamia nut latte both were great and not too sweet! We also got the OG breakfast sandwich and the smoked Turkey egg white sandwich! Both were phenomenal, the sausage on the OG sandwich was exceptional in my opinion! Super cute coffee shop with great service and great drinks! It's definitely a local watering hole because in the 45mins I was there, there was a constant stream of people both inside and in the drive through. Both staff members I had interactions with were so friendly and made me feel seen, taking the time to actually chat and not feel like I'm being rushed out the door! Will be back! read more

Disappointed. Dropped by with my boyfriend for an afternoon due to all the great reviews, only to find a barebones type establishment with a very long line and an almost low budget style school cafeteria setting. Nothing like the initial impression I got online. Not really your go-to for a cozy sit-down experience over a good cup of coffee. More like an awkwardly expensive coffee shop propped by tacky decor and overblown reviews. We didn't bother staying. Left for somewhere else. read more

Been going to this location since it was the village. I was hesitant when I heard they got a new owner since I loved the small business coffee. But Armor Coffee stepped up to the plate. I loved that they kept the staff. The staff here is amazing! They learn the name and your favorite drinks. Such a homey atmosphere. I just wish they opened 15 minutes earlier each day. Working at the near by ice rink they open right when we have to be on the ice. Coffees great, foods great and the staff is phenomenal!! read more

Best coffee shop in town! I love the atmosphere here! I actually got to meet the owners and they are amazing as well. Some complain about having to wait in line but those customers clearly don't care about the quality of service or coffee. Both of those things are worth the wait ! I am a diabetic and I love that they have several sugar free options as Starbucks only has one. My only complaint is that there are not more locations! read more

I tried their signature "Kambucha" drink a few months after asking the barista what they would recommend since it was my first time. It was not good and I had planned on not returning. 6 months later (today) I tried their frozen white mocha/toffee nut frappe and it was AMAZING. Maybe the best frozen drink ever. I can honestly tell you that this coffee shop is without question, the very best coffee shop I have ever been to. They are beyond accommodating for all their customers. Armor Coffee has exceptional vegan milk alternatives as well. Only come here if you have bougee tastes, and have a decent pocketbook. If you want real ingredients, use Armor Coffee. But, if you don't really have standards, and are ok with fake ingredients, you'd be better suited with that certain huge coffee chain. I can honestly tell you that negative reviews are from either: competitors, or those that frankly don't have very good taste. One small suggestion: this little hard chairs are terrible-- you need more squishy, comfortable chairs. read more

I follow the Todryk family on Instagram and have been wanting to visit their coffee shop for some time now. It did not disappoint. When I arrived, the line was almost to the door but the amazing staff quickly got through all the orders. Customers that were in line were all abuzz about Jen's show on HGTV and were eyeballing the merch for purchase. The guy in front of me mentioned that they tried to get on their show but it was all full. This normal coffee shop was definitely infamous because of Jen. I had to try the cookie butter latte that everyone raves about. I got mine with oat milk and it was pretty good. Not amazing, but good. It could have had more flavor so I would recommend an extra pump or two. I had the avocado toast which was great! Probably one of the best I've had. My friend got the OG. While it was small, she said it was tasty. If you are a fan of the Todryks, this would be a good place to frequent. If you don't know who they are, it would seem like just another coffee spot to hang. read more

Their prices are better than Starbucks- they even offer bottomless drip coffee for $3.50! I'm not the hugest fan of the interior, it's very bright. But, the staff is very friendly, they have Apple Pay, and they have plenty of seating. read more

One of the better coffee shops in the area that is not a chain. I have been twice and had their basic latte and it was pretty tasty. Also tried one of their scones that was pretty good as well. They have a fireplace and a couple of couches that are pretty cozy. Also a good place for quick meetings. Overall a good experience and I plan on going back! read more

LOVE ARMOR. Staff is very friendly, welcoming, and knowledgable about the selections. They have an amazing Horchata Cold Brew, which I highly recommend if you want a strong, delicious coffee that is not over-sweet. Environment inside the shop is also very comfortable with plenty of seating options available and very Instagram-able. I absolutely love supporting local coffee shops and needless to say, will continue to be loyal to Armor. read more

I love seeing new independent coffee shops. Great layout, people and atmosphere. That said, it blows my mind to see a residential Bodium grinder for the pour overs. And I'm not surprised when it wouldn't work and I had to switch to an espresso based drink. I understand your new and starting out, but please step up to a commercial grinder. Their espresso is similar to Starbucks, over roasted burnt tobacco in flavor, not for me. They did refund the pour over and give me the cappuccino for free, which is an example of great customer service. I'll try the pour over next time. Also please put the roast date and where your beans are from in your whole bean roasted coffee. read more

Came to the Allen area just to try this coffee spot! I tried 6 different drinks while here. The 3 top lattes, a cloud foam drink and a raspberry breeze tea. All were amazing! Great ingredients and wonderful flavors! The baristas were so friendly and quick at making orders. Decor in this space is very nice. Definitely stop in and have a coffee! Sit for a while and enjoy the peaceful shop! read more

Went through the drive thru and ordered an iced cookie butter latte. I was a little nervous it wouldn't be good but it tasted so good! I'd say hands down better than Starbucks. My go-to drink at Starbucks was a white chocolate mocha but this might be my new drink! It was the perfect combo of a latte with a little bit of sweet but not too much. Some other coffee shops I've tried will make the lattes super dry if you get what I mean. This was perfect! read more

Probably my current favorite coffee shop! I have been going here and recommending it for a little over 3 months now, but it's hard not to. There are options for everyone (sugar free syrups, oat milk etc.) and the staff are all so friendly! I highly recommend at least checking Village Coffee out when you get the chance - if you're used to drinking coffee from say Starbucks or Dunkin, you will taste the difference! read more

Kombucha on tap! Very fulfilling(a lil pricey though)!!! I immediately felt the tea doing its "magic" my energy level was boosted and my mood was better. I recommend everyone to give the Kombucha they have on tap a try! Im gonna work it in at twice a week and try to sustain taking it for About 3 months to give it a good assessment on improving my health. Staff here is very friendly and customer service focused. It feels pretty small, but they definitely take advantage of every corner of the space for seating with their booths and tables. The prices are pretty fair for a brunch spot. One thing that definitely caught me off guard was how many things were on their double-sided menu. It felt like a legal document with how extensive it was. It is definitely overwhelming, but I locked in and ordered a Meat Lover's Omelet. It's filled with bacon, sausage, ham, and American cheese. For my sides, I got hash browns and two pancakes, which is a steal for a $14 omelet. It wasn't long before the food came out, and I crushed the omelet. It needed some salt and pepper personally, but it was pretty good and hearty, especially with the pancakes as a side. I can't speak to the coffee drinks in the store because I buy whole beans to use at home. The interior is more bright and vibrant than you know who - I usually see multiple customers on computers so that part hasn't changed, and the staff is friendly. If you do not home roast, get your beans here! I love the Village Bold which has notes of dark caramel and sweet cream. Perhaps I have been lucky but the roast has been spot on perfect - dark enough to caramelize the sugar with zero "burnt chocolate". I grind the beans (conical burr) to a fine espresso and use an Andreja Premium machine which produces a rich thick crema that flows out of the portafilter like the last ounce of Guinness from the tap. Catching early pour in a spoon for a taste is enlightening and will make you crave more. Look for notes of dark caramel and sweet cream with a subtle milk chocolate undertone. read more

We were excited to go to Armor coffee after having a perfect evening the day before at Armor Brewery. However, we were disappointed when we went into the coffee shop. No one greeted us as we walked up to the register to order. We had to wait for several minutes with no one in front of us before a young man approached the counter and seemed annoyed that he had to take our order. No one said thank you at the register or when the called my name to pickup my order. I asked for creamer and the guy never acknowledged me but pulled a quart of half and half out of the refrigerator and slapped it on the counter without a word or eye contact! Pretty crappy customer service for a lousy cup of coffee that can be bought anywhere. That's where I'll get my next cup, anywhere but Armor! read more
