The food was delicious, but the service was very slow. More than three tables seated after us got their food before we did.

    Chorizo bowl, also really good

Haven't been to this restaurant for years. We went today and really enjoyed brunch. Food was quite good and tasty. good quality ingredients. Service really good too and a beautiful setting and nice decor inside (great patio outside). If I were being picky I'd say cook the egg slightly longer but it was near perfectly cooked. Hollandaise excellent as well as the coffee. Hubby said it was the best breakfast he'd had out in a long time and we'd try it again. Just note, on a Sunday sunny day, traffic is pretty jam packed and you'll likely need to park and walk in a bit.

We recently spent a perfect day paddleboarding in Deep Cove, a peaceful spot with its unique geography and calm waters. After our paddling adventure, we headed to Arms Reach Bistro -- a cozy gem right by the water in Deep Cove Village. We love dining on their outdoor patio, where the heaters and blankets keep things comfy. This time, we ordered the Wagyu Beef Carpaccio with Crostini (so flavorful!), crispy Calamari Frito with a mild spicy marinara, and Spicy Spaghetti with Chorizo and Argentinian Prawns (a must-try!). Great portions for sharing! Overall, we had a fantastic night. We highly recommend this spot after a day on the water! Food: 4/5 Should Try! Service: 4/5 Kids: 4/5 Yay! Price: $40-$50 each person (dinner) Presentation: Parking: Parking can be highly challenged in the neighbourhood. Tips: * Suggests visiting in the late afternoon to skip the rush and catch the sunset. * Recommends making reservations for large parties or dining at peak hours. * Has daily features such as offering 30% off all bottles of wine on Sundays. Be sure to ask the server about their daily features! Would I Return: Yes ‍

As a long-time customer, I will never return. This restaurant has completely gone downhill. The waiter serving us didn't have the slightest smile. We didn't want ice water and asked for hot water instead, but when checking the bill we were secretly charged $27--that's $5.40 per cup of hot water. What's ridiculous is that the bill described it as "tea." When I questioned it, the waiter coldly replied it was because he had to pour the water. Only when I asked what difference there was between hot and cold water did he finally agree to a refund. Ironically, before double-checking the bill, I had already left a tip. We brought our own wine and were charged the $25 corkage fee, which is not even mentioned before. But the restaurant even added liquor tax on top of the corkage fee, which is unreasonable since we had already paid liquor tax at liquor store The environment has also become awful--flies were everywhere throughout the meal, and we spent the entire time swatting them away. This is absolutely not a place where you can relax and enjoy a meal.

A beloved brunch and lunch spot this place is always packed and for a good reason. The food here is almost as mouth watering as the view you get. I came here with a large and the accommodated everyone's needs and wants zero complaints. Our servers were so sweet and friendly. This was a favorite for us and locals stayed in Vancouver for 10 days I think we went here 3 times. Guaranteed good view and great meal!

The food here was great! I didn't have high expectations because the area is kind of touristy, but I came here with a big group and had a great time. I ordered the cauliflower appetizer, the coconut mussels, and the angry chicken. All were delicious! I highly recommend.

This place is probably the best restaurant in Deep Cove, which is not saying much because of the sparse number of eateries in this area (as compared to the entire Vancouver-metro). As of June 2023, the area is still undergoing major construction, so parking is very limited. The service here is top-notch. However, the food is rather underwhelming. The spicy spaghetti is a disaster in the sense that it is soaked in chili oil. The meat was also over-seasoned. Other than these two issues, the noodles tasted ok. The butter chicken entree tasted a bit better than the spaghetti, but not by much. In honesty, if a Costco frozen butter chicken were to be microwaved and served, I couldn't tell this dish apart from it.

Came here for brunch on a sunny Sunday morning and sat out on the patio. Loved the vibes and location near the water We ordered the coconut mussels to share, the Mediterranean bowl and the spicy spaghetti. This was for 2 people and definitely was a good amount, almost was too full but the food was so delicious! My favourite dish was the coconut mussels - it was 11/10!!! The sauce was so tasty and had a good coconut flavor that went well with the mussels. The fries were great with it and the portion was a good size. Would definitely come back here for mussels!!!

First off I have to say the service here at Arms Reach is exceptional! Both of our servers on duty provided us friendly and knowledgeable service! Their warmth also make enhanced our dining experience! Located in the Deep Cove Village, this is a tourist hot spot during spring and summer, you would be lucky to even get a table here! For us locals, I am glad, we are also able to enjoy this lovely restaurant during the "off" seasons. Food is also exceptional, my Spicy Spaghetti came in a large portion filled with Argentinian Prawns which as an extra crunchy texture and sweetness, the pasta of course is al dente, the chorizo added an extra punch to the whole dish! BC Organic Beef Burger was also outstanding in that the beef patty was still juicy and you can taste the quality in the Organic Beef they used. Kudos to the Chef's use of brioche style bun, perfect match in texture!! I would also like to commend our other server who came to discuss my paring of wine with my pasta dish, attention to details like this is what makes establishments like this shine!

Lovely restaurant in the Deep Cove area. They open for dine in again with spacing seats. There are seats outdoor too if you don't want to sit inside. All waitresses wear mask. The place is clean, bright and breezy with lots of windows. The foods are delicious with big portions. We order burrata pistou for appetizer. The pistou for me is like a French version of pesto with more garlic and no pine nuts, very light and fresh. The tagliatelle is a vegetarian dish. Im not a vegetarian but I love mushrooms and this dish is amazing! Very rich truffle flavour. The dish is not complete without you cutting the egg and mix the soft boiled with the pasta. The washroom area is outside of the restaurant but private and clean. They also provide hand sanitizer inside if you prefer. Definitely want to come back to try out more of their dish and their dessert.

Food was a 3.5 out of 5 - would have been 4.5 stars if the pasta wasn't cold and slightly underdone. The baked spaghetti was good, but I don't like lean ground beef in pasta. Coffee was great, virgin negroni was a great non-alcoholic choice and I love brio. Our server Gabe was adorable, definitely 5 stars. We'll be back! Great atmosphere too.

What a delightful experience! While in Deep Cove, we discovered this amazing restaurant overlooking the water. A variety of indoor seating includes window side tables with great views of the water. If you prefer to sit ouside, there is a welcoming covered patio that also includes beautiful views of the landscape and water. The food was amazing! We had the beef carpaccio to start-close to the best I've ever had! For mains we ordered the spicy spaghetti and the Timo's Benny (smoked steelhead, arugula, red onion, with hollandaise). Each dish was equally as delicious as our appetizer. They also have an extensive wine list with some amazing Italian reds. The atmosphere was welcoming, the staff delightful and helpful. This is definatley a desitnation restaurant and reservations are recommended. We will look forward to returning!

But the reviews were good and it had a big menu. Walking in, we were greeted with a table filled with fresh baked bread for sale, and a display case full of cakes. The server welcomed us in - they were quite busy, but there was a large empty table in the middle of the room that we were able to sit at. I think the server's name was Cass - but I can't quite recall. Once she learned that it was our first time there, she gave us the full run down: All the bread is made in house The cakes are all Grammy's recipes, which she taught to her niece All the meat is cooked or smoked in house and - ham, turkey, beef etc The menu is large - almost overwhelming, but in a good way. Almost everything comes in half or full. I can't imagine anyone finishing a full meal here - their slogan is "bigger is better" and they really mean it. None of us were able to finish our meals and were left with the perfect amount for dinner later that evening. I ordered Whole Wheat toast with my breakfast and I'm not kidding when I say that it was the best toast I've ever had. I definitely would have bought a loaf to take home but you have to pre-order that one and it's only available on Thursdays :( Oh well, I guess I'll just have to go back!

I just had an Original Gimbap and a Vege Gimbap for myself. It was a hot summer's day so I just didn't feel like ordering hot food. Everyone else ordered hot food though. My daughter has been getting into Tonkatsu at Japanese restaurants for awhile now. So when she saw Chicken Katsu on the menu here, she decided to give that a try. It was just OK for her. No comparison to any of the pork Tonkatsu dishes that she's been having at Japanese restaurants. She still ate it all up though and it was a huge portion. Other dishes on the table included Seafood Noodles, Pork Kimchi Stew, Soft Tofu Stew, Fried Chicken, and Kimchi Fried Rice. My one gripe would be that they took a super long time bringing out my daughter's Chicken Katsu. Everyone else had their food for quite awhile but she sat waiting and waiting for her Chicken Katsu. When we asked about it, they said it was coming soon. But that's what they always say when you ask about something that's taking a long time to come, right? Wondering if they actually completely forgot about it and then put in a rush order at the kitchen when we brought it up.

The potato noodles weren't overcooked and was a great consistency. The seafood tofu soup was favorful with clams and mussels. The raw beef was too frozen and needed to sit out longer. My friend said the pickle juice made the Pickle Back surprisingly refreshing. The Rib Splitter: The blackberry bbq sauce ribs are insanely good. The meat just falls off the bone. The vegetables were seasoned perfectly and cooked to perfection. Loved the hot skillet that kept the mashed potatoes temperature hot/warm. Hands down, the best ribs in town.
