This place is amazing based on my experiences thus far. The Frozen Explosion drink is really good and was a new experience for me. At first, I was taken back by the thought of red beans used in a dessert, but this drink is awesome. I strongly recommend it. I've also tried some of the desserts, my favorite one thus far being the pineapple cake. Absolutely delicious. The breakfast item that I tried was really good as well. It was the bacon, egg and cheese wrap. It's a different type of wrap from what you may be thinking and comes topped with some type of sweet sauce. Also, try the milk tea with boba. That's always worth something in my book This is definitely a unique shop. Owner (who's Taiwanese) uses Chinese ingredients to make her products in-house. All natural teas and all natural baked goods. I tried the sweet buttermilk toast for memories of a past trip. Good, but not great. I like the shop, but the vibe is still a bit - unique. You can't come here to study. You come her for a drink and to enjoy a pastry over a chat. Bright colors all around make this a happy-go-lucky type of stopover. I love this place, probably cuz it reminds me of boba places back home. But actually, it's better cuz they have desserts and food and shaved ice and you can customize your boba and if you don't like boba you can get coffee or tea. We also grabbed a lemon dessert to go for a late night sweet treat. Waiting was awkward since there were 2 employees, but only 1 employee was making drinks. Cute little place to go for coffee and tea with a variety of desserts to choose from. A few breakfast/lunch dishes are also available - shredded pork wrap is my personal favorite. I also always order a sugar-free jasmine green tea when I'm here, which is always excellent. Unfortunately, my past visit left a me with a slightly bitter feeling towards Aroma's Corner. I placed my usual order, making sure I specify that I would like for my tea to be sugar-free, as I do with all my drinks. Upon getting my tea, I found that it was loaded with sugar. I figured it wasn't a big deal - the place seemed extra busy today, and my drink might have gotten messed up - it happens. When I casually brought this up to the girl at the counter, she started arguing that I never said "no sugar" - definitely not true. Then she told me that she can give me a new one at half price. What?!.. I ate my wrap and left the tea untouched. Very shocked and disappointed by how that situation was handled, which is why I'm only giving this review 3 starts instead of 4. DO NOT GO HERE!! If I could give 0 stars I would. I called prior to arriving to make sure they have dairy free/ Vegan options and was told most drinks on menu were vegan. While ordering I did not want a large drink, but was forced to get one because they have a $5 minimum when paying with a card. On top of that, the drink they gave me was in fact NOT vegan. After one sip I realized, then asked to clarify if it was vegan and employee did not even know what Vegan meant. Manager did not want to replace my drink and wanted to charge me for the replacement.
