I drive by this restaurant twice a day and I finally promised myself to stop by for dinner. I should've gone sooner! Driving through the west end of North Main St, Leominster, it is very difficult not to notice this restaurant. Outside is a large eye-catching sign and it looks pretty classy. I think I should point out that exterior names all say Aromas, but it is called Aroma on this website..? Parking is very easy. Both sides of the restaurant is a large parking lot. If it packed, I'm sure the nearby businesses wouldn't mind the overflow. Outside of the restaurant is a trendy patio area that I'm sure gets a lot of appreciation when it's warm out. At night, there are fire structures that keep customers warm. It was a rainy night when my wife and I arrived, so we opted to eat inside. Immediately walking inside, there is a small swing to the right and a flower wall adorned by a neon sign with the restaurant's name. They definitely know how to appeal to the younger selfie-obsessed generation. Obviously I had to take a picture of my date. It is very dimly-lit inside with basket-woven ceiling lights spread throughout. This is a great-looking place if you need a date night spot! In the corner of the restaurant was live music. The volume was just right; loud enough for good vibes, but quiet enough to hold a conversation. Seeing as how I never typically eat Latin food, I wanted to go all out. Paella Marinera - $47 - this is meant to serve 2 people but I'd say 4 people would be comfortable! delicious seafood and very well-seasoned rice. The waitress sets up a small table and brings over a large totally packed wok(?). She serves your plates before before placing the wok on your table and excusing herself and taking the small table away with her. Shrimp Fettuccini Al Vodka - $24 - my wife's a fairly picky eater and this looked like a safe pick. This was delicious! No notes. Crostini Camarones - $24 - 6 baguette slices topped with avocado and tail-on well seasoned shrimp. Very nice presentation, and it was pretty good. Honestly my wife and I don't like lemon-y/sour flavors, so we didn't love it. Would've preferred the option to keep it more savory and have a slice of lemon on the side. Flan De Leche - $8 - We were already stuffed by the time this came out. Even shared between 2 people, this is too much sugar too handle. I don't know what legit flan is like - it seems like every restaurant is totally different, but the Flan here is definitely most firm one I've ever had. Each bite is very heavy and decadent. Shout out to Sara (sorry if spelling is wrong)! She was a great waitress. Very friendly and attentive, and when we asked for boxes to go, she packaged everything up for us. I have been to Aroma twice and both experiences were great. The food is really good, the space looks great, but the standout factor for me has been the staff. Very knowledgeable, upbeat and focused on the dining experience. Last time I had the opportunity to interact with the owner, again, very dialed in to providing a too notch experience. There is nothing like it in Leominster, give it a try and taste some things that may be new but will become favorites. read more

What a great place, I don't understand why they weren't more crowded. The food was really good, (so were the drinks!) and the service from our waiter Luis was lovely. It's a beautiful restaurant, comfortable seating and plenty of parking. Excellent place to accommodate a party, big or small. Really nice bar. I got a Mofongo with pork, very tasty. We tried Aromas for the first time, and the food was phenomenal. They have a varied menu of Latin fusion and traditional cuisine. The fried plantains were cooked just right. We!re definitely planning a trip back soon. Highly recommended. read more

Ambiance is nice, however I think the aesthetic would be better with dimmer lightening maybe. I couldn't quite put my finger on it, but something needed to be changed to elevate the vibe. The food is quite pricey. For almost $30, the majority of my meal with rice. However, it was good tasting. Maybe I would try another dish some other time, but probably not in the near future. Very pricey for what you get. The rice and flavors tasted like Goya kits. I ordered tacos only to learn they were two tiny appetizer tacos for $12.95. And they were not that good. I came to have some lunch with my fiancé and the experience was not great. First of all my server was Francisco S. the floor manager. He struggled with answering questions and explaining the menu. The place was empty but the food took over half hour to come out, and it was Cesar salad and chicharrón with rice and beans. The food was mediocre at best. The rice and beans tasted like they cooked it the night before, he wasn't even sure if they had beans at first (manager?). He forgot about our yuca fries and had to be reminded. After we got our food he never came back to ask if we wanted another drink or if the food was ok. I had to walk up to the bar to ask for my bill and then he started hovering over me while I wrote down the tip. I wrote on the receipt that his service was horrible and I tipped him $6 on a $57 tab. I felt like tipping nothing but that's not even my style. NEVER WILL I EVER COME BACK TO EAT HERE! Francisco get it together papi, you got a lot to learn! read more

Just had an early dinner here. Ordered the Mediterranean salad, strip steak, and the flan. they get a 5 star with presentation, but the taste is lacking luster. The flan is especially bad. for that lunch will cost you $40 plus dollar plus tip. Be careful and read your bill carefully since mine had gratuity added then when i got the bill to sign they where still asking for a tip with minimum suggested 20% on top of the bill. This place is a nice attempt to elevate dining options in Leominster but I would rather go the other places in town for the taste and value. The waiter was very attentive but that's about it.
