If I could give zero stars I would. Purchased my car Presidents' Day weekend and greatly wish I could have brought my business elsewhere. The customer service I received was over promised and highly under delivered. Purchased my car with negotiations on new tires, floor mats & was promised detailing as Arrotta's only had the car on the lot for a few hours before it was purchased. We left the car at the dealership for 3 days, everyday being told "the car will be ready by tomorrow, it's been detailed we're just waiting for tires." By the third day I decided to pick up my car and schedule those services because I was being told something different every time I spoke to anyone in the sales and service departments. The first time I picked up my car, it was not detailed as the sales department said it was. When I asked if it was detailed, the salesman looked at me and said, "looks pretty clean to me." (I'll add pictures of the "clean" car) The car also had an empty tank of gas, and a broken sunglasses holder that was not broken when I purchased the car. I had to schedule for the tires, mats, and for the sunglasses holder to be replaced the following week and unfortunately was told by the service department when I brought my car back for these services, that they don't do detailing in house.. it's done by a third party. At this point I ask to speak to the sales manager because I'm frustrated and just want to have my new car. He informed me the car was "wiped down by his kids" (I'm guessing he was speaking of his employees, and assumed I would accept that as a car detail) although in the same conversation said the car would be detailed after new tires were put on even though I had zero communication of that happening. And I'd need to wait another day to have my car but, I'm thinking this is great, once it's detailed I can just be done with Arrottas. I pick up my car after it being detailed and I'm honestly not surprised when I drive off the lot and my gas sensor shows the tank slowly emptying. I'm assuming with it being detailed same day, they put the heat on high in order to dry out the car for when I picked it up. It's so upsetting because by husband has purchased a car from Arrotta's before and had a great experience. That's why we had gone back. But each time I had called with concerns about my car or wanting updates, I was given attitude and felt as if I was an inconvenience. If promises about certain services and deadlines weren't made, and if there was actual communication between buyer/ seller/ services - the expectations wouldn't have been set on my end. Now, 6 weeks later, my temp plates are going to expire - I've called the dealership a week before their expiration and was told, "the person who handles licensing isn't here, I'll have her give you a call tomorrow" and never received a call back. I love my car, but I will never purchase another vehicle from Arrotta's. Nor will I have work done on my car by the service department or recommend this dealership to anyone. They sold me not 1 but 2 high performance cars, one had the wrong brake pads and the other the passenger seat wasn't functioning correctly and the dash was damaged due to the previous owner mounting a gps to it, they said they would fix it and never did anything to help me. I spent 120k there on a SRT Durango and a Hellcat Challenger and all they told me was they are sold "AS IS" and wouldn't be able to help after I made the purchase. I had to spend an extra 4k to replace rotors and brake pads. I wouldn't send the devil himself to shop at this place. read more

My 22 year old son went in to get a new car. They denied him but some how he walked away as a co signer with his friend as the owner, on a $37,000 car loan for a basic Chevy Trax. $700 a month payment!!!!!! When I found out the next day and looked through the contract and told him, he had no idea, the guy was just having them sign away. He does has a learning disability and was taken advantage of by his his company, big time!! He took the car in the next day to return it but the workers said no they don't allow that. My wife spent the following week trying to get a hold of the owner about this matter. Its now been over a month and many times of going in and being told to come back another day. BEWARE DO NOT BUY FROM THEM Arrotta's Auto Max 15020 N Little Spokane Dr Spokane, WA 99208 1 (509) 290-5840 I want to make it known about my horrific experience with Arrottas Auto Max dealership in Spokane, Wa. Specifically the interaction with Dan Arrotta the owner of the car lot. I purchased a 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 from Arrottas less then two months ago. Within two days of having the vehicle there was a grinding noise, I called the dealership, took the truck in and they told me the emergency brake was jammed and broken, they would get it unstuck, order parts and get it fixed. Here we are almost two months later and I haven't not heard from anyone in the office even with persistent phone calls from myself! Three days ago I started hearing a ticking noise while the truck was running and the two days ago the check engine light came on. I called a good friend of mine and asked to have my truck scanned to see what was going on because Arrotta's had been so helpful before . After completing the scan on my truck my friend let me know that the truck was misfiring on cylinder three. I drove the truck directly to Arrotta's Auto Max because I thank goodness was smart enough to do an extended warranty. I met with "Dan Arrotta" the owner and explained what was going on, he said in order for him to help me he needed his shop to examine the truck and run a diagnostic test themselves. So I took the truck to the shop owned by Dan Arrotta. I sat there for over two hours and then was told that my truck had a bad cam, lifters, cracked manifold and basically the entire top end of the truck was blown. If I drive the vehicle the motor could blow up completely. The had me take the truck a block back over to the dealership. I again spoke with Dan Arrotta and relayed the message of what was going on. By this time my mechanic friend showed up so I wouldn't get pushed around. I asked the dealership to help me get a rental and I wanted to trade out of the truck because with two different issues in less then two months I felt the truck is unsafe and a constant problem. The owner told me the warranty would cover a rental car for only 5 days and the truck would be over a month to be repaired. I asked why only 5 days? What am I supposed to do with the rest of the time without a vehicle? The owner stated that it wasn't his problem, after a few minutes of the Arrotta team meeting behind closed doors Dan approached me and stated do you have a credit card, no I told him! Well then you can't have a rental car the won't rent to you! I asked him what are people supposed to do then? Not everyone wants credit cards and that's why I don't have one. Again he stated it's not really his problem! One of the team members approached me and said they wanted to show me a vehicle that they could potentially make work for me, my mechanic friend said ok let's go look!! It was a ford half ton which could have been ok! As we inspected under the hood of this truck the was a LARGE oil leak with could everywhere, the entire under body was rusted to crap. I told Levi the team member that was trying to help, could you fix the leak? He said let me go ask Dan! He came back a few minutes later and stated that they could look into it but the payment also would be $700 per month. I told him I can't afford a $700 a month payment right this second. I walked back in and sat down. Dan Arrotta then approached me and sat down. He again stated that the truck I purchased would be fixed under warranty but it would be over a month to do so. I asked how is it ok for me to just be stranded without a vehicle? He stated " well you're not stranded, don't you have people who can loan you a vehicle? " I told him no I don't have anyone that has an extra that could help me out. And I asked again how is it ok for them to just basically leave me stranded? Dan Arrotta's exact words to me were " you bought a $17,000 truck what did you really expect??" I was so infuriated I stood up, walked outside and ignored the last few things that slipped out of his mouth! My mechanic friend called another shop that she trusted and knew dealt with my warranty company, they got my truck in right away and are working to fix this lemon I got from Arrotta's Auto Max. Please, please, please be cautious and do not support this horrible, dishonest car lot!!! They should want to help to wrongs that they can!! And Dan the owner could have made things right but instead he treated me like complete and total trash. read more

Unprofessional, sloppy, sleazy thieves. Purchased truck 1/30/22, put down $4,000. Told safety inspection and detailing would take 2 days, Feb. 2nd. my truck would be ready. On the 2nd, they said there had been a delay, and my truck would be ready Feb 5th, Friday. On the 5th I went in to get my truck and was handed keys to a "loaner" until "my truck would be ready Feb. 18th, 2 weeks later. On Feb 18th I returned loaner at which time I was told my truck was not ready, and no date was given as to when or if it might be ready. I contacted the State Atty General and advised them about Arrotta. Owner Dan Arrotta doesn't return phone calls and their customer service manager Trevor threatened me - to give me my truck disassembled and in buckets, adding I should be grateful they were making safety repairs at all. -someone check that boys resume, HE LIED.- Dan Amesbury the sales rep is both a compulsive liar and vapid airhead; everyone is basically a liar, and they refuse to return my money. I purchased a 2023 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross new off the lot for $34,000. In six months the trade in value dropped to $22,000, so I am stuck with this vehicle until I pay down the 9K in equity. Also, they traded in two of my vehicles, my 2018 Mazda and my 2003 Durango. The only thing I can say positive is that they gave me a good value for the 2003 Durango. After I gave them the keys, it took them over 3 weeks to come get the Durango. I finally had to threaten to get it towed if they didn't come get it. We agreed on a down and got financing done and then after a month and a half, I called to see where our plates were and they said we owed more down which was never agreed on. They wrote the contract with a higher down than agreed on and never said anything about more being owed. Now they are holding plates until "the rest of" the down is paid. This is the worst dealership I have worked with to buy a car from! From the beginning they couldn't get their paperwork right, wouldn't give me my plates because I owed for down payment even though I had a receipt and eventually they found the paperwork buried on the desk of the Credit Manager. Then after I got home I noticed he marked my papers as "Used, As Is" when it was new with 10 miles on it. I was promised all kinds of perks for buying it and again the papers said "No Extras". This was in March and now it is August and despite visits and phone calls no one will get me my papers with the warranty from the company nor will ANYONE return my calls. They say over and over, "We'll right back to you", even the dealership manager.....well, I'm still waiting, promises, promises! To make matters worse our grandson saw a car he wanted there so he called and made an appointment, took time off from work and when he got there the salesman said he couldn't help him because he was working on a sale for another customer and to come back. We are an older couple and have purchased many cars in our lifetime and this continues to be a very bad experience like none other! I don't know where they can claim the have all reviews 5+ and an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. The BBB can't find them in their system so I left my review with them as well. I came back to pick up my car i was walked outside while my car was being pulled around and I was sexually harassed by him and then by him and the mechanic who drove my car around. These employees should be fired, I was mortified! They were both laughing at what seemed to be normal behavior by them and I will never be back. The Good: Artis and Jeremy worked with me to get what I needed. Walked out with a beautiful truck. Took it in for an inspection after purchase and zero issues. The truck was priced comparably to others of it's trim on the market. The Bad: The truck was imported from Canada. I knew this when buying it, but did not know and was not explained the implications. Any vehicle that is imported from Canada has the manufacturers warranty voided. The sales team informed me that I would be receiving the remainder of the factory warranty when purchasing the truck. This was false. US service centers will NOT honor the factory warranty and you can NOT purchase an extended warranty for the vehicle through the manufacturer. So if factory warranties are important to you, steer clear. I've messaged the dealership for a resolution and will update if anything comes of it. Update: Response from the dealer "You get a lifetime warranty with the purchase of any vehicle 2013 or newer with under 100k miles. You will receive the paperwork for the warranty in the mail in about 30-45 days from the day of purchase. It is an extended warranty that we provide." WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND CAR DEALERSHIP ON SPOKANE We recently attempted to buy a car from them & not only did the motor blow up hours after leaving the lot but they gave nothing but a run around and treated us like complete trash! The salesman we were working with was absolute amazing and did what he could to try and make it right but the general sale manager was complete unreasonable and unprofessional! While waiting for repairs our new car was broken into and things were stolen out of it while in there possession. They argued with me in regards to what was taken out of the car and refused to compensate or replace anything that was stolen. After approx 3 weeks of getting the run around we were told due to the engine blowing up the bank would no longer honor the loan agreement and we would have to find a new car, at this time we requested our trade in back and to go somewhere else to purchase a car. It took over a week to get our trade in back, phone call after phone call was ignored or not returned, when we finally got the call to come and get our car there was evidence (broken glass throughout inside of the car) that our trade in was broken into; also the rear seat has been completely tore out and u can tell the car has been rummaged through, glove box emptied and thrown everywhere. I WAS IRATE AT THIS POINT AND YES WENT IN YELLING! They said they did not know it happened and took the car back and made repairs. Finally we were done! Fast forward 4 week - they did not cancel out down payment agreement and had funds taken out of my banking account THAT SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN!!! && when i call to get it fixed the manager refuses to take care of it. He was looking at the Jeep Rubicon. He was helped by Zaid. When he asked to test drive it, Zaid told him he would need a co-signer. Zaid then mumbled that he probably couldn't afford it anyway. Our son left without the information he came for and let us know what happened. I called Arrottas and asked the requirements for a test drive and was told a drivers license and insurance. I was transferred to AJ (the manager) and told him of my concerns and he asked what he could do to help. I explained that our son would like to come and get information and test drive the Jeep. AJ gave me his cell number and asked me to have our son contact hm about getting together tomorrow (Friday). He called AJ who stated he was busy and would call him later. It is now 8:30 Saturday evening and no return call. Needless to say, we are very disappointed in the service. Yes, my son is 23 but these salesman do not know him or anything about him and are passing judgement. As I told AJ, he could have $100,000 in the bank and intend to pay cash or place a substantial down payment on a vehicle. You have lost out business. So he waited the two days and then wanted out of the deal. My grandson waited for the manager for over 3 hours and then some more time after the 4 hours. Because they did not honor the time frame my grandson wanted out of the deal and they did not offer apologies just said no. Now he is waiting AGAIN for the car to be ready and AGAIN it is not ready. If I could rate them zero stars, I would. Worst car buying experience ever. Took my youngest son there to buy his first car and it was a horrible experience. The wait time was way too long and there were promises made that weren't kept. It's been six weeks and we are still dealing with trying to get my sons license plates. I've never experienced such a difficult process in my life and keep telling my son this isn't how it's suppose to be. We just had to pay out another $300 to get his license plates and on top of that he can't get another temp plate because only two are allowed in a 12 month period. His temp plate expires today and it'll take 2 weeks more to get his actual plates. This is all on Max Autosports. We've done our due diligence to try and get this taken care of but because of a "computer problem" or whatever the excuse of the day my son would get when he called, we are now 6 weeks out from buying his car and it's still not resolved. I feel bad for my son because he should be enjoying his car but instead he has to spend his days off at the DMV trying to figure this out. This should not be like this. It's infuriating. read more

Thoroughly impressed with this car lot. Everybody was so friendly and nice. My wife and I brought our 13 month daughter in and she was being a handful but all the salesman were nice about Turing the tv on and they had toys for her to play with. Chase was the guy who helped us and even though the lot was very busy we still feel like he wanted to help us personally. The building itself had clean bathrooms and fresh coffee. If only all Lots were this painless. Also we got a killer deal on a newer SUV. read more

Found the car I've been looking for a long time for the right car and found it at this place. Due to Covid19 we had only contacted thru email and then texting I was unsure whether they were open or I would of just gone there. One of the Sales associates named Ben S. contacted me thru text he was very nice and got me pictures and videos of the car. Because of the time of day we had discussed coming Sunday because I worked on Saturday. My wife and I decided we were good to buy the car and I expressed 2 times that We were willing to come down that day if it wasn't to late and see the car and sign the papers. Although I appreciate Ben's time I feel that if you have a buying customer looking at a car its very unprofessional to sell it out from under him to someone else. After reading all the reviews of this business I felt they have great customer service based on the majority of reviews being 5*. So my suggestion for any manager or owner who may read this please inform your employee's to communicate that they have a buyer and that if a car is in pending status to not sell it out from the person who initially contacted you regarding the car. I understand as a business man myself and manager for my work that a paying customer is priority. This car would have been sold Friday had Ben received all my messages. I then find out Saturday evening (which i would of been willing to come down if I had to) that it had been sold. This is the most untrustworthy car dealership in Spokane. Their salespeople will say absolutely anything in order to make the deal, even promising add-ons (for example, they commited to adding a remote start, new carpet kit, touching up my paint, and more) with absolutely zero intention to complete them unless you make a big fuss about it. They did do some of what they promised, for example, the remote start. However, I was asked to pay $150 after the fact when it was supposed to be included in the original deal! I told the salesman absolutely not and he backed off, but how dare they try to ask for payment when it was supposed to be included and especially after the work had already been done. That has scam written all over it. I had to deal with the same shady salesman for months before I made enough noise for the owner to get involved. Once he was, of course, I was promised the moon and again, they could not deliver! I was promised a brand new carpet kit when I purchased the vehicle, and when I took it in to be installed, it was the cheapest most unprofessionally installed kit I (and the owner even admitted he) had ever seen! So I was told they would order a new kit. This took months for one reason or another (the service center told me they didn't have approval and then they told me once they got the approval there were shipping delays After, it was a mess!) So finally when the new kit was shipped in (4 months after I purchased the car) I just picked it up/installed it myself rather than having to wait any longer. Now that I've washed my hands of all of that, the final issue is that I am 4 months in with no permanent plates. I have heard that there is a plate shortage right now but that is absolutely not the issue here. The dealership apparently failed to have the car properly signed over when it was traded in by the previous owner. The stories I have gotten have varied from the odometer reading being inaccurate to the previous owner having a marriage/name change. Point of the matter is that this should have been taken care of long before I had to go in and get my third (yes, I said third) set of temporary window plates. There is absolutely no excuse for the shady business practices of this establishment and I urge anyone who is looking to buy a car to STAY FAR AWAY from any one of Dan Arrotta's 5 different dealerships in town. read more

Horrible experience. To sum up, the fuel tank fell off after about 60 miles driving and my trusted mechanic says many more parts will follow if not addressed. Approx 3K work needs done to this vehicle described by the dealer as dependable. They cannot be reached and promised to call me on Monday after the sale, but did not specify which "Monday", of which month or year. I would strongly suggest that you go somewhere else if you are in the market to buy a used automobile. My partner and I drove on the lot and we were approached by CJ. CJ was awesome. He was personable, asked questions, was honest, and very easy to work with. I really liked him. I cannot give enough praise at how good he is at his job. We came back the next day to Work with CJ and took some trucks for a test drive. We were there for four hours The first day. We found a truck we liked and filled out a finance application. We were asked to come back the next day because the main finance manager, AJ was gone. We were told that the application would be run by AJ and when we came back the next day things would be done. We came back the next day and found out nothing had been done by AJ. CJ was very nice and apologized and stated that the financing department had our application but hadn't done anything with it and were running it now. In the meantime the owner, Dan, pulled CJ from helping us and decided to take over. Dan was rude, pushy, argumentative, and insinuated that we were lying about items on our credit history. We literally had to teach him how to read the credit report correctly. Dan continuously pronounced my partners name incorrectly even after being corrected, he incorrectly stated employment and income information from someone else's application, and told us a sexist joke about his wife's boobs. He wouldn't wear a mask even after asked even though we wore ours. When there was a discrepancy in the price (NADA vs Kelly Blue Book) he went off and printed a KBB report on the wrong truck and then shoved it in my face to prove me wrong since I was looking at the NADA value. Dan kept insisting I was wrong about the price and to prove him wrong because he was right. He was awful. I stated enough and we were going to leave and he backed off his confrontational approach and that he was only trying to sell us a car. As we were leaving CJ came out to ask what happened and we explained the situation. CJ took it upon himself to correct the situation and spoke with Josh who was filling in for their normal finance guy. CJ and Josh worked with us until 10:00pm all the while their finance manager, AJ, blocked every opportunity to buy the truck stating "we needed to get our act together." Mind you, I have fantastic credit. Earlier AJ settled on financing through a bank, Westlake, which had a high interest rate, ridiculous stipulations, and a reputation of impossible customer service. I finally had had enough and went through my own bank while Josh stated he would work on his end the next day to correct all of their, Dan, the owner and AJ actions. We were there that day for five hours. We came back again the next day and worked only with CJ and Josh. Josh found us better financing and held the truck for us since another salesman tried to sell it from under us. Josh and CJ were wonderful and easy to work with and were able to turn a nightmare experience into a positive. Unfortunately, Josh doesn't work there. He was only filling in for the week while the normal guy was on vacation. CJ is a fantastic salesman. If you do go there only work with CJ. The truck we bought is nice. The key fob didn't work but Josh worked it out so we could get a new one. I have never been treated so poorly by a salesman and if I could I would give the owner, Dan, zero stars. CJ deserves a raise just for having to work with the rest of the people at this establishment. read more

I'm usually skeptical of used car lots like this and I always brace myself for some 'd-bag of the century' to come clobber me for a sale but I was very pleasantly surprised to find that was not the case at all. All the staff were respectful and attentive. We were very happy purchasing our new pickup with the help of Antonio. There was no high pressure sales pitch. He was very helpful and worked with us to get the price below what we would have probably paid, to be honest! I would have given this place 0 stars if I could. They told me on the phone they'd give me 30k as a minimum for my truck, and I get there and they refuse to budge at all on the 28k they offer in store. They tell me over and over it's not worth that much, but the blue book said clean trade was 34k. It's in great shape. Terrible place to look at a car. read more

If I could give -5 stars I would. Horrible dealership. Once I signed the papers Ive been screwed since. My vehicle was buffed with white wax to cover rust spots, scratches, rock chips and according to my mechanic the undercarriage had been spray painted black to mask the rust too. Not to mention vehicle has been a complete piece of shit, every month something new has gone wrong with it. Really should have walked away from this deal and went with my gut. This is the same dealership as Northtown Auto Liquidators(lemon lot) and now Click It auto sales out in Wandermere. Avoid at all costs! This place is the worst to buy a vehicle from. I took my motorcycle there for consignment & one of there employees broke my motercycle when I talked to the manager I was informed that them braking it was my fault. They are refusing to fix my motercycle & it has been almost a year. read more
