Came here for the event that they hosted to showcase their vendors and venue. It's a really beautiful space! They have streams, ponds, wooden bridges, swinging benches, fit pit, lodging, etc in the space for weddings. The walk from the reception desk of the cabins to the venue is the back was was short and easy. Packages were priced well with what it includes too. The workers there were so friendly and helpful. It's up in the mountains so you'll be driving up some curvy roads. Would come here again. Hopefully, to attend an event. read more

We had our wedding at pine rose in October of 2018. We signed all the contracts, paid the large balances, followed all their rules and aside from some minor issues our wedding went well......this was until we never received our wedding photos or wedding book. Here we are, 2 and a half years later, still fighting with them about getting the products (photo thumbdrive, digital files and book) that were promised in the contract or getting a refund. We have no pictures from our wedding day aside from those taken by family. Pine Rose management has been extremely difficult to deal with and will not honor their contracts. We are going to be taking them to small claims court. They do not hold up their end of their own contracts. Save yourself the heart and headache and go elsewhere for your wedding. read more

Just came back from a week long stay at the cabin #15 which is the Wild Bill cabin. I was there with 2 kids and a small dog. The cabin for us was perfect in size. I'm not going to pick on small things wrong with the cabin or place because everyone has different preferences. I will point out things that bothered me most. One, we arrived on a warm day and the cabin was rather warm inside. We had all ceiling fans going, plus portable fans and it was stuffy inside. Luckily for us the weather shifted to cooler one with scattered showers so that problem no longer existed. The fridge was always wet inside, water was collecting in the bottom shelf, kind of annoying. Last thing that bothered me about the cabin itself - the front door, awful. One good kick and that door would fall out. You guys need to replace or fix that door. Enough whining. Now to things I liked about the cabin. It has lovely western decor. I love the coziness of fireplace , unfortunately was too hot to turn it on . We put some candles instead and it was nice in the evening. The bedroom is of a good size , comfy beds, both in bedroom and living room. Bathroom is nice too. Small kitchen with essential items in it. We cooked few dinners there, made breakfasts too. There is a small dining area too which we used for our meals. Unfortunately we didn't use lovely deck for eating due to frequent showers ( too wet ) . I used BBQ grill few times. The grill is just okay, perhaps cuz I'm a charcoal fan and prefer grilling over wood or charcoal. I loved the privacy that the cabin gives. My dog was enjoying the deck and surrounding areas. We had a nice water stream next to us and the sound of rushing water was lovely and very relaxing . Stuff was very friendly and accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay and most likely will come back, perhaps in winter time. read more

My daughter, son-in-law and I just spent the weekend at the Arrowhead Pine Rose Cabins. As well as their Boston Terrier, Chester. We rented a two bedroom dog friendly cabin. What a wonderful place to stay if you are visiting the Lake Arrowhead area!! The cabin was very quaint with whimsical decorations throughout. The kitchen was a very good size and fully stocked with a full size refrigerator, oven, stove, microwave, coffee maker, plates, cups, utensils, cook wear etc. etc.. Our cabin had a brick wood burning fireplace, flat screen t.v., jetted tub in the bathroom, parking right in front, a gas bar-b-q, picnic tables, a large hammock, plenty of land around the cabin and more. The office staff were all very friendly and happy to give out recommendations on places to eat, hike etc. We will absolutely stay here again the next time we are visiting Lake Arrowhead. read more

My daughter's wedding in October 2018 was beautiful. We chose the all-inclusive package where all money was paid to Pine Rose and we chose from their recommended vendors. My daughter's husband is an active duty United States Marine and was deployed shortly after the wedding. When they were sent proofs they were unable to look at them together. My daughter was subsequently hospitalized with meningitis. Multiple emails to James Tang and phone calls to Pine Rose all they want to say is we have waited too long. I asked to purchase photos well before my daughter's second anniversary. How long is too long for wedding photos and why would a wedding photographer not have access to them for several years? They never got photos they never got a photo book and he never bothered to respond to my email at all. Very disappointing over $27,000 to Pine Rose for the wedding ($3600 of which was for the photographer and PHOTOS!) and zero photos to show for it. No digital, no thumb drive, no photo book. Their contract including all of these is apparently just a suggestion. read more

The people are very friendly and they were nice enough to work with us after we were snowed in. They even plowed the driveway so we could get out. I got married here about a month ago. If you're looking for a beautiful rustic mountain wedding, look no further. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Every vendor and staff member of Pine Rose was respectful, helpful and amazing. Jolene went above and beyond what we expected out of a wedding coordinator. The food from Fox in the Woods was to incredible. Every one of our guests said it was the best wedding food they'd had. Our cupcakes from Niki were perfect and unique. The bar tender service was great and the our DJ Collin made our wedding a blast. We live in LA and wanted to get married in the woods. Hidden Creek was a dream land, a perfect wedding escape. Jolene nailed every detail. Each vendor (Graystone Catering, Jasmine Rose florist, bar staff, James a yang photography, and Chad DJ) was a true professional and cared about making our day perfect. We stayed here on a recent getaway from LA. We checked in on a Sunday and checked out on Wednesday. We originally were going to check out Tuesday but we enjoyed the fresh air so much that we decided to stay an extra night. We stayed in cabin 10 with our 2 young children and our small dog. It was a small cabin, but perfect for our needs. Only things that weren't totally in perfect working order were the toilet, you had to lift the handle a bit to get it to stop filling and the hallway light which was flickering throughout our stay. Neither of these things really bothered us at all though. The cabin was well kept and comfortable. The grounds are beautiful, we even used the as the backdrop for this years Christmas cards. Very quiet and serene. It gets very dark at night so we were always back in the cabin by 6pm. Wonderful stay, we'll definitely be back! read more

My boyfriend and I had to cancel our trip to Mexico because of the virus outbreak so we decided to stay in California and found these cabins on line. For starters our drive up was amazingly beautiful! When I stepped into the office to check us in I was greeted with a smile and immediately asked how my drive up was. He was friendly and he had us checked in quickly. Explained how to get to our cabin and he did state that there might be snow that night. We stayed in cabin the sugar pine cottage and it was beautiful! We had a small kitchen with all of the essentials. They seriously thought about everything people might need in their kitchen. They provided the cabin with a space heater for the room since the heat doesn't reach the room or restroom. We woke up to a driveway full of snow the next morning and couldn't believe the wonderland we were in. They property plowed the snow out of the driveway and the street. On our way to breakfast we ran into the owner and she recommended we go to an amazing restaurant called The Lakefront Tap Room and it was delicious! We were able to walk around the property after we returned and found some ponds and a lot more beauty. During checkout the next day I met the innkeeper and we were able to talk for a few minutes. Once I told him what type of work I do he thanked me and walked me out to my car and prayed for our safe return home. All in all everyone was amazing and we are already planning on coming back with our kids. It's definitely worth it! read more

However I only gave two stars bcuz there is no quite time so both nights people were partying way past 2am which would have been fine if the cabins were further apart. Would definitely recommend staying here if you're looking for a rustic cabin for a good price. Stayed here with some hometown friends over the weekend and would gladly again. We stayed in one of the cheaper cabins (#3) but still had a great time. A few things kept it from being an absolutely perfect experience, but for the price I was not disappointed (with 6 people it came out to about $80 each, not bad at all). Took us under 2 hours to reach the cabin from Glendale. It's about 15 minutes drive from Lake Arrowhead and the Lake Arrowhead village, and 35 from the Snow Valley ski resort. The area is idyllic with snow-covered trees all around. It didn't snow during our stay but there was still a bit on the grounds. The cabin itself was older but fairly well maintained. The place is definitely rustic and lived-in, but you kinda want that in a cabin - just don't expect the Four Seasons. This is a cabin in the woods. The beds are all upstairs - 2 one-bed rooms and 1 three-bed room (queen and two twin beds). I got stuck on a twin but slept fine, totally comfortable. My friends complained about the other beds, and the frames were somewhat creaky, but it didn't bother me. Something to keep in mind. It was a cold weekend but the central heat kept the place nice and toasty. We built a fire both nights and were very warm. The lobby sells small bundles of wood for about $9. Would bring your own wood if you plan to rely on the fireplace for your entire stay. In terms of detractors, there are only a few. The single bathroom door does not lock, so you'll want to be comfortable with your housemates. The bathroom could use a new coat of paint, as it's a bit damp and peeling, but again - this is a cabin in the woods, so none of this will ruin your experience. Just know what you're getting. The kitchen appliances were a bit older, and we had a bit of trouble keeping the gas range lit. One of the comforters on my bed smelled pretty bad, but with the heater running I didn't need it. The kitchen is stocked with dishes and utensils, but you are required to hand wash and restock them before you leave - which is a bummer when you're trying to chill on vacation. We were also asked to take out the trash and recycling. Again, not a big deal, but allow for some extra time before checkout to get everything in order. In all, this is a great place for a weekend stay for LA folks. read more

This is a perfect getaway. The cabin that we stayed at was Fishermens Hideaway. It's up in the mountains with nature surrounding you. The cabin is super cozy and welcoming. We bought firewood for the fireplace and there was mountain fresh water in the fridge when we arrived. Check-in was easy and friendly. What a sweet little gem, we were honestly so touched with the cozy, charming feel of this rustic little hideaway. Hubby, baby and I spent our "family getaway" weekend at Pine Rose just before Labor Day weekend. Prices are very reasonable and the cabins are perfectly equipped. We cooked all our meals and ate on the woodsy patio, walked the trails next to the koi ponds and babygirl had a great time feeding the giant orange fish. There was a wedding there at the same time, it looked beautiful! At night we checked out Disney movies from their huge library at the front desk. Sadly, the last morning our little one rolled out of her bed (our fault) and we spent the morning at the emergency room in Lake Arrowhead. The Pine Rose staff were kind enough to give us a very late check-out, and even surprised us with a "get-well" package of teddy-bears in the mail a week later. Come and stay here, feel good about the world again. Great customer service does exist. read more

Highly recommend Pine Rose Cabins as a wedding venue and a place to get away from it all! My husband and I got married at Cedar Creek on 10/6/13 and everything was absolutely beautiful and perfect. Lynda Moudy was our coordinator and she did an amazing job. She is super sweet, helpful and was easy to reach via email throughout the entire year of my wedding planning. She was great at giving insight and suggestions before the wedding, and on the day of stuck around to make sure everything went smoothly. She even helped cut our cake which was a big relief since my entire wedding was DIY. The venue itself is GORGEOUS. We got so many compliments and many people said it was one of the best weddings they've been to. It looks simply stunning in photos, like an enchanted forest -- exactly what I envisioned. Our family stayed at Cedar Creek/By the Pond and Storybrook cabins, which encircle the venue, and all our guests stayed in the surrounding Pine Rose cabins. They all loved it. It was super convenient that everyone could just walk over to their cabins after the wedding and not worry about driving anywhere. It was like a big, fun slumber party! We definitely plan on coming back with our family to just hang out and enjoy the lovely resort (next time without the craziness of wedding planning), and my husband and I will also be back to celebrate our anniversaries in our honeymoon suite, Rustic Romance. We had the best wedding at Arrowhead Pine Rose Cabins. Truly perfect. Our coordinator Lynda Moody was the best, she was always so calm and kind. Gave her opinion when it was helpful, just supported us when that was needed, guided us towards the decisions that were best for us time and time again. Our photographer Sadi/Whimsie was amazing. Just the perfect blend of knowing how to manage her time effectively while also still getting every single photo we could ever want, and knowing how to direct us honestly. Tina's catering was so delicious and filling, our baker Katharine with Goodwin's executed everything beautifully and deliciously. The DJ Cory was awesome, he perfected playing the older generations music and then transitioning seamlessly into the younger generation, so there was a little something for everyone. Jasmine Rose did our flowers and they were gorgeous! So glad we didn't cut corners on the flowers, they were all well worth it. Overall, we had a perfect day and the venue and the vendors are well oiled machine. If you want a gorgeous setting, and basically a worry free day, Pine Rose is the perfect place! read more

I took my boyfriend here for his birthday. We were both pretty stressed so it was wonderful to go somewhere mellow and quiet. We checked in with Paul. Who was probably the most mellow and pleasant person I have ever met. He showed us where we would be staying, and where were some great spots to get food if we wanted. We stayed in the Rustic Romance Cabin. This place was so cozy! It looks tiny from the outside, but don't judge until you see how freakin charming it is on the inside. The only could be minuses were that 1. they have REALLY old tube tvs and VCRs in the cabins. But they did have something like 400 movies you could borrow for free.... just remember to rewind. (then again should you really be worried about the tv when romance is the name of your cabin?) 2. it was COLD like really really really cold even though i put the heater up higher than i would have liked, the stone floors really kept the chill. aaaaand 3. the bathroom door was only a half door, so you had really better know the person you are getting rustic and romantic with because there is zero privacy. The stone jacuzzi and the fire place were amazing though. And seriously i cannot wait to go back. Make sure you visit wed-sun because most of the local restaurants are closed for sure monday and often tuesday. read more

Attend a wedding, it is quite unique experience and pretty different scenary for us. The whole cable has five separate rooms for the newly wed and their family. Have to be there early for parking and it can fit around 100 people. The best part is open bar for whole night, dj and dance floor. The downsize is dealing with lots and lots of bugs, and there are only two bathrooms for all the guests. read more

I was looking for a getaway not too far from home due to Covid pandemic , to celebrate my 45th wedding anniversary. Pleasantly surprised to find a cabin in a woodsy setting that was not only super clean , but , had so many amenities as well. The staff were engaging and attentive. The interior of cabin was absolutely adorable. This site had a koi pond along with a wishing well surrounded by other ponds. The swimming pool and spa were very inviting . Also , they had many sporting games and a children's park and walking trails within quite a few acres on this property. Beautiful trees along with an array of blue jays provided a truly wonderful mountain experience. We were surprised how quiet and very peaceful it was here , having every cabin on site filled during our stay. Restaurants, hiking trails and shops were conveniently close to our cabin. Arrowhead Pine Rose Cabins will be our new get away mountain retreat for years to come. As a business owner, I understand the importance of customer satisfaction and Arrowhead Pine Rose in my opinion hits every mark in giving great customer service and a wonderful and memorable experience. read more

We had a wedding here on 8/22/15. The Venue was beautiful , everyone complimented us on such a beautiful wedding in a beautiful place. It was an amazing day and the weather was awesome! Though we heard a month before it was raining on a couple days. Yikes! There are two reasons I did not give this place 5 stars. First, they advertise two Venue sites on their website. One is Hidden Creek - $18k (now $23k) and the other is Creekside which is much smaller and only $8k. We went up to look at Creekside, guess what, its not available. What'ss worse is it hasn't been available for a couple years!! We even called and asked if we can look at "Creekside" and they gave us a date to come up. So what happened? It was a bait and switch! Oh here is this amazing site at this amazing price.... Now that you're here, sorry, that sight is no longer available. We have this bigger site for more than twice the price though. I would say shame on us for not calling to make sure Creekside was available but if its advertised and we asked to see Creekside, you would think its available at some point during the year. The other thing was the service for the wedding. It included a Wedding coordinator. Im not upset with my wedding coordinator b/c she did a great job on our wedding day but it would have been nice if they made a list of things we might anticipate on buying. For example, we assumed we would need to pay for cups for drinking, it doesn't say its part of the package, so what did we do? We bought a bunch of nice plastic glasses for the wedding. Come to find out a month before she says the bartender provides all of that. I know what your thinking, little things like this we should call before but unless you have had a nice wedding before, you don't realize how many questions you have throughout the year or months of planning. You cant be bugging your coordinator for each little thing, she will be fed up with you by the wedding and you want your wedding to be great. So I would have rated 4 stars but because we got the bait and switch , paid a lot more and we could have been more prepared for our first and only wedding if our coordinator, someone who does weddings weekly , could have prepped us much better, we are giving this 3 stars. ****Update**** For those curious. We chose 100 guests because we had to. We only had 80 guests and even less showed but I stuck with 100 guests to make sure we had plenty of food and room for our guests. If we had the option of "Creekside" for only 40 guests, we would have easily been happy with only the 40 guests. As you can imagine, we wanted to fill up the 100 guest count as much as we could since we had to go with Hidden Creek venue. Still, beautiful wedding, thanks to the Venue. read more

My husband and I got married at the Hidden Creek Lodge on September 20th, 2015. The venue and are our wedding coordinator, Lynda, were amazing! We received many compliments about the venue. It is absolutely beautify there. Very little additional decoration is needed because of the great environment. All the vendors in the area work together a lot and so everything went very smoothly. I loved having the ceremony site, reception site, and the lodging all being in one location. It made everything very convenient and easy. We had a slight problem with our Bev, Mo delivery. They forgot the buckets and the ice for our kegs and Lynda and our bartender, John, came to the rescue. They were able to use barrels from the venue and make sure our beer stayed cold. Without their help, we would've run out of alcohol. Everything for our wedding was fantastic and any small snags were immediately fixed by Lynda. Everyone at Pine Rose did an amazing job! read more

I absolutely LOVE this place. My husband and I got married at Pine Rose in Oct 2012. Our consultant was Nicki and she was great! We were able to get a date only a few months away and the price was very reasonable given typical wedding venue prices. We got married at the smaller location and it was perfect for our tiny wedding. The location is gorgeous. The owner loves adding new things so every time we came by there was something new and lovely! It's all so rustic and woodsy. Having the pond behind us during the ceremony was gorgeous (thought the running water was a little loud). The reception location is also beautiful. The area itself is so lovely that you hardly need any decoration. Guests and other vendors kept coming up to me during the wedding asking how I found this place because it was so stunning of a location. Nicki was awesome. She was quick responding to emails and always very helpful. She found a caterer that could make the menu we wanted and the food was soo delicious. Normally they offer iced tea and lemonade but since it was cold Nicki offered to have coffee, cocoa, and hot cider for us. It was perfect! All of the staff helping out were also super nice. The cabins were wonderful. So homey and rustic. We stayed the night before in the Strawberry lodge with our families. All I have to say about the Strawberry Lodge is that it's so awesome, we're all going back in two years for Christmas! My husband and I also plan to go to Pine Rose for anniversaries. What a fun place to stay for a weekend getaway to the mountains! The grounds are really pretty with streams and ponds flowing throughout. The Blue Jay cottage was super cute and perfect for our small family of 3! It's close to Lake Arrowhead, hiking trails and Lake Gregory. These are rustic type cabins so don't expect luxury, but we found ours to be clean and well maintained. read more

My boyfriend surprised me with a long weekend here recently. It was the perfect getaway for us, as we both love the outdoors. We stayed in #15 (Wild Bill's), which was probably the most secluded of the cabins. The Western theme was absolutely adorable and we found the accommodations more than suitable. Situated close to a stream, we stargazed while toads serenaded us. We used the barbecue one night and would have sat on the patio a bit more, if the weather had been warmer. Instead, the fireplace got lots of use. Days were spent in Arrowhead, Blue Jay, Twin Peaks, and the surrounding areas. There is a lot of fun off-roading, if you have the vehicle for it, great hiking, and some neat finds for those geocachers out there. I HIGHLY recommend The Grill down the highway just a tenth of a mile or so. The staff was helpful and friendly, particularly Joy. Overall, it was a great place to relax. Great family time......One needs to remember that these are CABINS.......not houses in the mountains, but true mountain cabins. The family stayed in a cabin for the weekend and had a super time. My husband and I had our wedding here a week ago, and we could not have asked for a more pleasant and perfect experience. Jolene was our coordinator and she is super sweet, helpful, attentive, and just made the entire process easy and stress free. If you're reading this Jolene, Mike & I thank you greatly for everything! The cabins are beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The fully stocked kitchens in each of them are super helpful and organized for all your cooking needs. One thing to note though about the cabins - bring your own food, toiletries, and paper towels and/or napkins! Some of the cabins are even pet friendly. We were able to book a cabin for our two pit bulls to stay in. The staff here is beyond super sweet, helpful and amazing. Our families and friends really enjoyed their experience & stays, and even thanked us for picking such an awesome venue. They ended up feeling like they had a small weekend getaway. My husband, and our friends are already discussing planning a trip back here for another stay. We also learned that couples who wed here automatically get 15% off their stay for their first anniversary! How cool is that? I definitely know where we will be going next October. read more
