GOOD, FAST, HONEST and *very reasonably* priced. It's so hard to find a mechanic (even though it's 2017. what's up with that?). After tons of research I brought a tired old 91 minvan to these guys and they were straightforward, told me everything I needed to know, overdelivered on their promises and charged me exactly the amount of time that was used to fix the issue and no more. These guys are exactly the competent, honest pros you're looking for when your brake caliper mysteriously wriggles loose 300 miles from home, as mine did on a recent weekend trip to Seattle. When I heard an ominous grinding from my wheel well as I attempted to park, Arrows Automotive was my next destination on the back of a AAA flatbed. After explaining my time crunch, they had my car on the lift minutes after arriving, and set about scouring every parts house in town for the right bolt. Not an easy task on a Saturday morning, and most of the usual options came back empty handed, but the relentless staff here kept expanding their search until they got the magic red bolt to get me back on the road. In the (considerable) mean time, the mechanics kept a friend and I smiling by dispensing helpful car advice and cracking jokes while they wrenched on other rigs. If you're not one for shop talk, there's also a comfortable waiting room and a sleepy shop dog who's always happy for attention. They also offered to give us a lift back home, but we were content to hang out and wait. Unbelievably, after running all over town for my bolt and accommodating me for hours, they did the work for the cost of the part: $11 total. Not a dime in labor. I didn't know shops like this existed. I almost wish I lived in Seattle just so I can head back to these guys and reward them with some well-earned paid work the next time my heap of a Grand Prix (inevitably) breaks. I just moved to Seattle a few months ago, and woke up one Saturday morning to a car that wouldn't start. I did some basic troubleshooting, and when I couldn't determine the problem I turned to Yelp to find a highly rated shop that was open on a Saturday, and had the car towed to Arrows. They had a look at it, did some tinkering and were able to get it started. He said that while it could be a number of things causing fuel to not get to the engine he didn't want to start swapping out parts in a guessing game to get it fixed, and he refused to accept payment. A shop close to my house, open on Saturdays with integrity to boot? For as long as I live in Seattle, I will be taking my vehicles to Arrows. read more

Even though they were almost closed. He then gave me a ride home and helped me set up a rental while they tried to find a solution for my car issues. I brought my car 2007 Lexus RX350 last Friday since it shakes on sudden braking. In less than an hour and a half, the front rotors were replaced. This repair shop is very efficient and honest. I was charged exactly what I was quoted. I will surely recommend this place. Thanks guys!!! read more

I took my car to Arrow based on Yelp reviews and was floored by their customer service, timeliness, work quality and pricing. Honda replaced my airbags due to a recall and gave me a diagnostic list when I picked up my car. The list was deemed critical. I got a price quote from them on my 110k mile service and fixing the critical list. The price tag came to $2400. Arrow did my 110k service, which is an extensive one on Civics and assessed Honda's "critical list" finding only 2 of the 4 items in actual need of repair. They replaced a number of things at a discounted rate and were timely with the repairs. I had my car back the same day. My price tag from Arrow was $1000. I'll take that savings and honest work any day. Take your car here. I will be from now on. read more

Friendly and very professional, but $50 for an oil change seems a bit too pricey.

My family has been coming here since they were at their other location. When they were a smaller business they were so kind and the work was always good. I have been referring people here because they never make you do unnecessary repairs and the price is reasonable. However, since they have grown, Bonnie is rarely at the front desk. The brevity and lack of customer service I received last time I was there made me feel unimportant but above and beyond that, I asked them to fix a sound that was coming from the rear end of my car when I go over speed bumps. Of course they said shocks/struts. Fine. It didn't even fix the sound. I didn't want to go back and tell them, it sounds like from other reviews I would have ended up in an argument. Nobody mentioned the Lyft service either, and I'm just on the other side of the West Seattle bridge. I don't even want to mention what they did to my moms truck. Bonnie and Paul, you are so wonderful, I hope this is just growing pains. read more

This is the best automotive shop I've been too. Although I mostly do my own car stuff as much as I can buying tools is expensive. I tried to tighten my own catalytic converter and was unable to because the bolts would not screw on tight enough!! I brought it here and they did it no problem!!! Also had them tighten up my ac belt but it still kept screeching so I decided to buy a new belt and they are putting on for me! So awesome! I know I can count on them and the woman up front is so friendly!! read more

Really like this place. This will be my go to in the future ...Had some issues with BMW and went to place close to my house that had BMW expert supposedly. He diagnosed for $100ish, and then made a $700 fix which didn't do anything, and the diagnosis was nothing beyond the codes the computer threw. Then went to BMW service for the expertise, and hopes of getting it right. They took care of some low hanging fruit stuff, and it took 2 days to change an air filter and reset the computer. They came out with laundry list of other stuff to fix WAYYYYY overpriced. Took this list to Arrows and they fixed in half the time, for half the price. Now the car is humming along again with no issues. Very happy. Quality, time, service were great. read more

Nordstrom-esk quality service with what feels like a small town added touch- complete with the sweet old dog who shares the waiting room with you. I'm never quite sure what to expect when it comes to auto repair, or auto sales, but they are honest, trustworthy, and offer excellent customer service. I purchased a Lexus IS350 from AutoQuest and Arrows perked up the brakes for me in no time, as well as offered helpful tips on any minor distant future things to look out for, such as the drain for the moonroof clogging. Went to Arrows there after dealer claimed all sorts of things were critical and needed to be repaired. Arrows set the record straight. They told me that the cost of the repairs for our car with many miles on it did not make sense. None of the repairs were safety issues. Honestly this shop is over an hour away from my home but I wouldn't go to any other place. These guys took in my Jeep when it overheated on the freeway in an emergency situation over a year ago. They were the nearest shop open and I am so glad to have found them. It is rare to fine a shop where they don't charge you an arm and a leg. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND, these guys are fair and quick. Friendliest place I have ever been!! Was so in love with my last mechanic as I had grown up with them and became attached over time, but got a foreign car he wouldn't work on anymore so was forced to find another place. Bonnie is wonderful. I had emailed her about checking out my car to see if it was actually leaking oil because I can smell burning underneath the hood. I had the BMW serviced there in February 2016. Arrows automotive replaced the housing gasket, oil pan and a few other items. I can be a bit paranoid about my car and she got me in the next day and they checked it out and everything was fine. It could have been that I haven't driven it in a week because I don't really need my car that often I work from home and everything is walking distance. Bonnie asked if I can bring my car in right away to do a quick check no charge. Great friendly environment and the mechanic Dennis was also very friendly. read more

Unbelievable service. I had my car at another shop and they were refusing to finish the work in it because I was "rude" to them when I got upset that they had had my car for three weeks. They told me my transmission was in "a million pieces" because they had taken it apart and I called Arrows to see if they could put it back together. Paul CALLED my shop TWICE to get the scoop- find out how much they were charging me (and if it was fair), when they could have it done and what exactly they had done and why. Turns out my transmission had not been taken apart, they would put back together what they had repaired and it would be done next day. I'm sending a Paul a gift basket. read more
