Such generous portions! It fed three peeps!!

Arturo Junior and Senior are the absolute dream team with their authentic food. Truly the most amazing and tender combination rice plate. I came with my dad and boyfriend, and it was my boyfriend's first time eating Persian food and he couldn't even choose which dish was tastiest since everything was top tier. We got their two kebab combo with the beef and skinless chicken which was a nice bright orange and all dark meat! Juicy and flavorful are understatements and we were such a fan of the rice. Extra points for great pita bread and salad with diced persian cucumbers. Our favorite parts of the restaurant are Arturo and his impeccable service and passion for the food!

After too many cold lunches for so long, a bulb went off in my head when I had to go drop off something at a customer today. I could get some Arthur's since just off the path! Been so long since the Covid heights, but good to see the place is running well. I remembered there was 2 parking in front of the restaurant for pick ups and that made it very easy to get the food and go. Order took about 15 mins to be ready. Very filling and it made for a great Friday lunch to have hot food instead of my usual cold lunches day in day out, lol. Now I know I have kabob option if need to make some deliveries in this direction, hopefully I don't forget or get lazy like I've become to not move from office for lunch. Always seem to be eating the chicken kabobs. Snapped a pic of the menu and noticed they have Ghormeh Sabzi! Gotta try that since I loved it when I ate multiple servings at a wedding once. But there was some meat in that one and this menu says vegetarian so maybe it doesn't have any meat? Or maybe I need to get the Gheimeh (beef stew)? But Gheimeh doesn't seem like it's the parsley stew base like the Ghormeh Sabzi, will have to clarify next time if I want to try:)

So yummy!!! Did not expect much since we were just near the area and hubby and I were craving for kebab. So happened that this place is near when we searched for restaurants- and voila! Craving satisfied!!! Meat is grilled to perfection! Tasty and reasonable pricing! We will definitely be back!

Beef and Kornish with sweet cherry rice. Salmon kabob (usually get dill Lima bean rice). Everything very delicious.

By far the best Persian food in DTLA & the irony is the owner/chef is Hispanic but he was working over 20 years in Persian restaurants & now he is a Master I tried different dishes & all of them tastes great I really recommend it if in DTLA Finding parking is a bit hard though & area doesn't look that safe

    Chicken Kabob plate

Decided to give them a second try since the first time went so well .I honestly must say the consistency of their food is Great an Delicious with Great Customer Service. I had the chicken kabob plate. It was cooked to Perfection. The side salad was Very Fresh and delicious aswell. The dining area was Very Clean which is a huge plus to me .I give them Five stars and will be returning. Thanks Arthur Jr for the Great Service You Provided.

Not only is the food delicious, but the service and friendliness of the staff goes way beyond any expectations anyone should have at a restaurant. This a small shack like building on the corner and I was hesitant to enter because of the location/looks, however I'm so happy I got over my ego to eat here. The server took my order happily even though he was busy. He checked on me while I was eating, offered me to stay and eat it fresh and not in my car... they have a cute outdoor seating area. Please support this business if you can! Such great Iranian food, coming from an Iranian woman!

We ordered the sour cherry limeade, sooo refreshing! Barbari flatbread fresh and warm Eggplant gheimeh , the eggplant was roasted to perfection served with rice soo incredibly flavorful. Mirsa ghasemi - roasted eggplant Mix this with the smashed green olives on your babari flat and yes! The tomato Persian cucumber salad was also refreshing, wth great flavors and crunch. Turmeric Braised Chicken - The dish was a bit on the basic end, not a lot of seasoning but you could taste the tumeric. Chicken was tender but slightly on the drier side which was a bit surprising considering it was dark meat (6.5/10) Kofteh Tabrizi - The tomato taste was prominent in the broth but the meatball itself was overly salty. The flavor was one note, I can't see myself ordering this again as I've heard this dish should have more complex flavors so I was disappointed (5.5/10) Kotlet Plate - As you can see from my picture, the kotlet was burnt beyond repair and I could taste the bitterness from the overused oil they used to fry it. I did like the yogurt spread and the pickles that came with it but I did not like the kotlet at all. We didn't bother asking them to replace it (4/10) Mirza Ghasemi w/ Barbari bread - The star of this whole experience was the Mirza Ghasemi, the roasted eggplant and tomato spread came cold and it was the most delicious thing we had. One of my friends vacuumed it right up before the rest of us could have seconds. Bread was a bit dry but it was a great vehicle for the Mirza (8.5/10) Lamb Gheimeh - Lamb was tender and it had some nice spices infused in there but it didn't wow me in any way (7/10) Sholezard - Our waitress brought over some complimentary Ceylon tea with the Sholezard which was kind. This rice dessert was not too sweet. The warmth and saffron ended our meal in a comforting way. It wasn't bad but I wouldn't get it again (7/10) +1 star for the service

I finally had the chance to stop in for a solo early dinner, but unfortunately, the food didn't quite live up to my expectations. I ordered the Lule Kabob Combo ($22), which included skewers of minced beef and chicken, rice, veggies, pita, hummus, and a side salad. The highlights of the meal were definitely the salad and the grilled tomato; the pomegranate seeds in the rice were also a nice touch. However, the meats weren't to my taste--the chicken had an odd aftertaste, and while the beef was better, neither really worked for me. Adding the provided sumac and lemon helped, but I wouldn't order the kebabs again. Additionally, the hummus lacked creaminess, and the pita tasted like it was mass-produced rather than fresh. On the positive side, the portion sizes are very generous for the price point, and I left feeling full. I also have to mention that the patio is adorable and very "Instagrammable," so it's a great spot if you're looking for a photo-friendly environment. A quick note for future visitors: they are currently having issues with their card reader and are requesting cash or Zelle. It felt a little unusual to be rung up on a register only to pay via Zelle, but it wasn't a major deal. While I appreciated the atmosphere and value, the food itself just wasn't for me, so I likely won't be returning.

That's why I was excited to bring my girlfriend and her friend here today. Unfortunately, this experience was completely different. Our waiter, Amir, barely checked on our table. His greeting and every interaction with us felt monotone, rushed, and completely lacking any warmth. There wasn't a single smile or welcoming gesture throughout the meal. At one point, I walked to the restroom and, on my way back, saw the same waiter enthusiastically speaking Farsi and providing attentive, friendly service to several other tables. The contrast between how those tables were treated and how we were treated was impossible to ignore. Based on my experiences here, it certainly felt like customers who are Persian or speak Farsi receive a much warmer level of service than those who don't. The food is still good, but service is a big part of the dining experience. I left disappointed, especially after recommending this place to others. Unless you speak Farsi or are Persian expect mediocre to poor service. This shoutout is for you Amir! Hopefully management reads this review.
