Every member of the staff that I have interacted with has been informative, compassionate and helpful. I love that I'm greeted by name, the technicians are wonderful, and each dentist has great bed (dentist chair, in this case) manners. They have been my dentist for about 20 years and they are great. I had an appointment yesterday and with the pandemic, I was worried about going to the dentist. The experience was a good as a visit to the dentist can be and they follow multiple safety protocols and I felt the experience was as safe as they could make it. Temperature and blood oxygen checks at check in. You are also asked to use hand sanitizer when you enter. Wait in your car or outside until they are ready for you. Everyone in a mask and gloves; most also wearing face shields. read more

I've gotten X-rays and I've never had an issue with it being uncomfortable. My jaw hurt to open and this lady insisted I open wider and SHOVED the piece into my mouth almost cutting me. Still hurts very badly. Just don't come here. Also had problems with my insurance even though I used it less than 2 weeks prior. Thought this place would help me in my emergency, only made my pain and stress worse. read more

I just got back from my first visit with this dental office and Dr. Khoo. Wow. Not only are my teeth sparkling white (despite the vast amounts of caffeine I consume on a daily basis thanks to my baby boy), but my entire experience was five-star worthy. A few days before my appointment, I received a text confirming my appointment. I then received another text a few hours before my appointment. Considering my preferred method of communication is no different than a 15 year old, I really appreciated those text reminders. After walking into the nicely decorated waiting room and being greeted by the friendly reception staff, I was given a tour of the office by Joel. He was also the technician who administered some x-rays as well as an incredibly high-tech scan of my head where I was able to see my skull. It was so creepy and cool at the same time. I then met Dr. Khoo, who is probably the most friendly and outgoing dentist I've ever met. We bonded over our 4 year old boys and lack of sleep. Not only was he a pleasure to talk to, but he was very professional and thorough. After my dental exam with Dr. Khoo I met the dental hygienist, Julio. Like everyone else in the office, he was very nice and friendly. Not only did he clean my teeth to glistening pearly whites, but he was very gentle. My gums usually ache after a good cleaning, but not today. After the cleaning, he made my next appointment on the spot. He then handed me a cute bag of dental goodies and a $50 gift card for being a new patient! By the time I got home, I had received an e-mail reminder for my next appointment. A high-tech office, friendly staff, and excellent dental work...I can't think of anything else that would make my visit to the dentist more enjoyable. read more

This dentistry practice is SUCH A SCAM/RIP-OFF! I intially went in because my regular dentist in Corona was not available and Dr. C was able to see me same-day. I had chipped/cracked a tooth and was not sure if it was a problem that needed urgent attention. I booked an appointment to see Dr. C at 3:00 P.M. on July 8 and only saw the Doctor at 3:35 P.M. Staff (Receptionist, RDA) were very friendly. This was the only positive thing about this place. When Dr. C came into the room, he had an arrogant attitude. When he finally put together some 'treatment' options, it was TOTAL BS. He said I needed 'his' retainer (granted I already have a retainer) to stop my grinding when I sleep that costs $188 dollars. He then said to fix my cracked/chipped tooth, he said I need a filling, which cost $191. TOTAL BS!! I called 2 dentists I know and texted them an image of the damage and they both said I NEVER would need a filling and that they could file it down for free. I then called a dentist I work with at a medical/dental clinic and he said the same exact thing the other dentists said. All I would need it to have it filed down. Right then and there, I knew that this dentist is trying to SCAM ME OUT OF $414. I now understand why dentists have a bad reputation when it comes to ripping people off because of what this scam artist tried doing to me. No wonder he is because he tries to provide fancy items that arent needed in the firsy place and has too many employees working for him. Would I recommend this dentist? NOT IF MY LIFE DEPENDED ON IT! It's such a shame that people arent realizing that he is scamming them out of their hard earned money. *By the way Dr. C, I had my tooth fixed by a dentist who went to USF and he said a filling was totally undesirable for my case. By the way, I would like to actually use my front teeth, so a filling is TOTALLY UNECESSARY!He filed and rounded my two front teeth, so they match. Nice try selling me on something that was NEVER needed in the first place! Total scam! read more

Was having some mild tooth discomfort. Got in the following day and had a deep cleaning done as it appeared I had food stuck in a spot that was causing the issue. I also had a chip in a filling that they had done 3 months earlier. Dr. Khoo worked on it and was finished in what seemed like 10 minutes. There was no charge for repairing the filling and the cleaning was only $44.00 But here's the thing... I was basically broke until my next payday (8 days away) and they held the charges until my next appointment in 3 weeks! Not many places I know of will go that extra step for customer service. read more

Absolute Trust. It's as simple as that. Been going to Artistic Smiles 11+ years & counting. I shopped 6 different dentist/orthodontists in 2004 when I decided to finally get braces as an adult that I knew I needed for health reasons and wanted for cosmetic appearance reasons. Every other dentist did the expected "office appt/free exam/quote" routine. Dr. Czochanski and his office set the bar higher. First, they welcomed me in, gave me a detailed tour of the office, introduced relevant staff, and showed me various medical equipment. They explained what and how they could better accomplish treatment in-house due to some of the equipment they invested in and then I was finally introduced to "Dr. C". There was an immediate feeling of genuine care and sincere service for the patient and it hasn't let up since way back then. Plus he and his team continue to attend classes and workshops to stay on top of improved techniques. If I sound like a commercial, it's because I'm absolutely confident in recommending Artistic Smiles to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, trustworthy dental office. The ultimate proof of trust in a dentist? Referring not just multiple friends and neighbors, but personally taking BOTH my Dad and Mama to see Dr. C for their dental care! Artistic smiles is great! I needed a new dentist for location reasons. I'm glad I was referred here. They are great with wimps and so nice. They bend over backwards to make sure you are comfortable and as happy as possible in the chair. It's very high tech-lots of cool machines they use to check on your teeth a and health. It is a little pricier than my last dentist but you can tell why. I prefer Dr. Kim but they are all very good. This place was excellent when I was having a really awful day. My wisdom tooth had become unexpectedly infected, and my appointment at another facility wasn't for a month. My husband called Artistic Smiles at 9am on a Friday and they had me set for a noon appointment. When I went, the experience was so different than any other dentist office I have ever been to. It's like they took every complaint and everything people despise about the dentist, and did the exact opposite!...they were friendly, informative and fast. They assessed my situation, went over the pricing (which was very reasonable because the amount of pain I was in, I would easily have paid double), and they extracted my tooth expertly right then. I was truly impressed with their service and would definitely recommend. To top it all off, the dentist that performed my surgery called to check on me the next day (Saturday). This place gets 5 stars in my book, and I can't tell you how much I appreciated their help in a dental emergency. read more

Beware and make sure you check with your insurance before any work is done with this place. The place is very nice and clean. However, they advertise they are open on Sunday for a reason. Even when you call in the automated voice make sure you know they are open on Sundays. That's great they are open on Sundays but NEED TO DISCLOSE IT WITH PATIENTS THERE IS AN EXTRA CHARGE. Yes, they have a weekend price even if you scheduled to have the work done on a weekday if come in on a Sunday. They almost got me. If I hadn't check with my insurance I would never find this out. This is by far the nicest dentist office and staff I have ever had the joy of encountering. I was able to get a same day appointment after telling them how much pain I was in, even as a new patient! Dr. Khoo was so sweet and really took his time to explain everything to me. I needed to have my infected wisdom tooth extracted and he was honest in telling me that he didn't feel comfortable doing it but that Dr. Kim would gladly handle it for me. All of the technology is top of the line and they even offered me a blanket since the office is a little cold. All of the staff was really interactive and answered every question that my curiosity had to throw at them. I look forward to dealing more with them in the future. I really could have not picked a better dentistry. As i arrived the two ladies in the front greeted me very well so friendly. So helpful. As I went in the girls in the back every single one of the them we so nice as well sweet. We're constantly keeping an eye on me to see how I was doing under the anesthesia. Now the doctor. She was amazing! She honestly was amazing, so attentive I was there for a very extensive treatment I was there from 8:30 to around 3pm and she was there giving it her all even though I think i was a little bit annoying since i kept pausing some times and asking a lot of questions haha. But they answered them all and heard me out. Really. I recommend this place hands down and will tell friends and family! :) so professional, clean, nice, inside and out. Staff, doctors, everyone. This office is the greatest as far as patient care and dental technology. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgable. I've had a lot of work done here and never had any issues. I had very crooked teeth and they recommended braces not just for cosmetic reasons, but for better dental hygiene as well. Getting braces was the best decision I ever made. Finally found a comfortable dentist office with great dental staff. This office has been patient with my anxiety, gag reflex worries. I wouldn't change offices. However recently my company had changed insurances. I sent my insurance info to this office and asked if it was good. They said something along the lines of "we take all kinds of insurance". However after my extractions last week, I came to the desk with a "that will be 1200", to my surprise, they're not in my new insurance network. It would have been nice and professional to have been notified before the procedure that this would be the case. I like this office a lot, but due to them not being in the network (to no fault of theirs), I may have to switch offices, which is a bummer. This is a great office if its in your network. Great staff. Dr Kim is excellent. I recommend this place so long as you make sure that you're insurance covers it. read more

Dr.kim and her staff did a great job!!! I'm super afraid of the dentist because of what happen to me as a little kid. But this one is one of the best ones I have ever went. They tell you step-by-step what they are going to do, they let you know what your have, they help you out on a dental plan. I went in for a bad toothache and turn out I needed a root canal, so I got it done, super scared but got it done, did not feel a thing and did not wake up with pain the next day!
