Always a good time at Art's! My husband loved his whitefish sandwich (he said he may need to have another one before we leave town), and the cherry chicken salad is tasty. The tots with ranch are the best! I loved my grapefruit Northwoods soda with lime, and he had a Heineken 0.0 - grateful for good NA options. Our server was excellent, the food came out quickly, and we enjoyed our table outside. Great laid back atmosphere. We'll be back whenever we're in town!

Art's is an absolute institution & tradition in Glen Arbor. Food is pretty decent, we enjoyed the grilled whitefish sandwich & tater tots. Service was very friendly & prompt. Interior is very 'kitschy' casual & 'up north'. CASH ONLY. Either doesn't have AC, or it just doesn't work very well. Fun place.

Hands down one of my top 5 favorite burgers ever! Grilled to perfection. I added pepper jack with lettuce, onion, pickle and mayo. I devoured it. I also had a side of their scrumptious onion rings which are also a leader! Super busy and great vibes. The service was also a phenomenal, considering how busy they are. Love this gem.

Arts came recommended by a friend who said to try their chicken jalapeno soup (I think?). It was too hot for soup, but I started with the Smoked Trout dip. This was very good- creamy but not heavy. My Bloody Mary wasn't great, the mix had a very dull flavor to it. My Reuben was pretty standard. Husband wasn't impressed with the olive burger, he said he didn't taste much olive. Service was not the best. Not terrible or rude, just rather slow and not friendly. I'd probably try it again if I was in the area, because it's clearly a beloved spot. Maybe just an off day for us!

One of the only spots open in town later in the evening, Art's Tavern was super fun, and also delicious! Despite being on a wait and busy Sunday evening when I arrived, Art's whitefish sandwich was fantastic for dinner. Just make sure you bring cash, as it's cash only! But if you're looking for a fun spot to grab a pint and some grub in Glen Arbor, it's lively and a solid spot.

Sad, I've been going here at least once a year for the last 15 years. This time the man under the tent ( seating ppl) was beyond rude. Server was good! Food and drinks have gone downhill! The burgers were SO dry and the Bloody Mary was aw you

Art's offers a wonderful meal at a good price. Such a cute place in a prime location. The staff here is wonderful. They sat us on the patio with our dog. Such a great dog friendly place. We had the white fish sandwich and cheese curds. The fish was amazing as were the cheese curds. Highly recommend Art's!

Glen Arbor is a cute town and Art's Tavern was the perfect lunch spot for us. The chili was fantastic and the burgers were good too!

Solid, better than bar food food. Owner on-site, staff hustles to keep up. Very popular and lots of character.

My family and I have dined at this vintage restaurant, with UpNorth decor, for over 32 years. The…read morefood has always been decent and service good, too. In these harder times, this restaurant needs more help. College kids were back in school. The tables were kind of greasy. Only two servers, who were very good, were exhausted. We were dining with a 2 year old, who was a little difficult and our kind waitress put in the order for the children right away. Their cheese pizza looked great. Nice call. Our orders came out not too long after, which makes me question, "How do you cook fish in less than 10 minutes, with a fresh vegetable? I ordered the wall eye with pesto and it came with zucchini. Everything was just all right. NOT a hot meal. The mashed potatoes were lukewarm, the fish seemed like it was cooked an hour ago and the zucchini was soggy with oil. The ribs are their best to claim, and were good. However, they also seemed like just warmed up with the BBQ sauce because my son said they were cold and he should have sent them back. There is outside seating but mostly bar counter height chairs so we chose to eat indoors, which was very nice. IF the food was cooked to order, and the food was HOT, and the tables were cleaned properly, it would rate a 5! in my book. However, not this time. I eat here at least 4 times per year, so hopefully next time, it will be better! I pray they do not close this gem on M-22 in downtown Glen Arbor. See you next time!

Just not good. The venue has promise but every experience is even par. I wish this place would…read morechange hands and be a GA powerhouse.

We ordered the cheese curds and some onion rings for apps, and they came out quickly and were very good. The food got mixed reviews from everyone in our party. While the food was average or not great for some, our server was helpful and doing her best to keep up, and we all were fed and got to enjoy dinner together. There was live music out on the deck, and lots of outdoor seating (the weather was just a little cool on this day). Be aware you will get charged a credit card fee if you pay with card, and they do not split bills for groups (that part was well-communicated). There is plentiful parking in a lot which is really nice since parking in town can be tough.

Must read before going here…read more Tonight, I personally overheard the owner turn away a family because the dad asked if the USA World Cup soccer game would be on. His response was, verbatim: "If you owned a business, you would understand we are trying to turn tables." The place was half empty. Instead of simply saying they couldn't put the game on or that they needed the table, he escalated the situation and verbally attacked the dad in front of his kids, even calling him an "a-hole" for asking to watch the USA play in the World Cup at a bar and grill. That tells you everything you need to know about how this place treats customers. Rude, disrespectful, and completely unnecessary. There are plenty of better options in Glen Arbor. Go to Art's instead -- better food, better atmosphere, and they actually seem to appreciate the people spending money in their place.
