To whom it may concern, As the General Manager of ALM Services LLC and having worked hand-in-hand with ASAP Restoration LLC for more than 5+ years. I'm privy to any/all communication with Jonathan Sharpe (Jon S.) who is employed by Grand Canyon University. Unfortunately, Jon S. keeps on altering his online review for varies reasons. But I can assure you that Jonathan Sharpe allegations towards ASAP Restoration LLC and my company, ALM Services LLC are untrue and inaccurate. Jonathans financial troubles (over budget on this project) which he has mentioned to all since the beginning of this project is extremely consistent with these current actions. We have a complete file including the scope of work, email communication, text communication, photos, recorded calls, and "screen shots" that Jonathan attempted to alter (or delete), his reviews. Unfortunately, his public posts on the internet was his method to try and extort monies from my company and ASAP Restoration LLC. Jonathan's "contractor" whom is not a licensed, bonded or insured contractor in the state of Arizona has admitted fault to both Jonathan and ASAP. But this isn't enough to Jonathan. In addition, Jonathan tried his hardest to blame us for the poor condition of his residence because he thought we should contribute monies to the remodeling (that he under budgeted for). I had the pleasure of speaking to Jonathan's "contractor" whom admitted that he profited more than $4,000 from the remodel, who also stated that he is his close friend, Pastor, etc. Jonathan's first post on YELP (which the owner of ASAP Restoration LLC legal counsel has) not only contained 100% false information, but race/color discrimination was apparent. ALM Services LLC and ASAP Restoration LLC follow the laws enforced by the EEOC. After sharing your YELP review with employee's and management, we decided we rather not work for a man whom feels that he needs to misrepresent the facts and place the blame of his supposed damage on others. If ALM Services LLC and ASAP Restoration LLC did the work for free, I believe you would still not be happy. You only intention was to trying to get someone to help you with an over budgeted remodel. I believe honesty is the best policy, but when you're dealing with an emergency, you can feel backed into a corner. Unfortunately, our experience was far from pleasant at least until we came into contact with ASAP Restoration. Early on, we became aware of serious concerns with the company we initially hired: a very recent AZ ROC license, no W-2 employees, and failure to follow standard water damage protocols (often considered the "bible" of proper cleanup). Because we had already started with them, we were advised to bring in a third-party consulting firm to document what had and had not been done correctly so our insurance company could understand why we needed to switch vendors. This situation involved a septic backup that left literal sewage throughout our home, not just water, but fecal matter, toilet paper, and other hazardous waste. Sewer water contamination is not something to take lightly. It poses significant health risks, including exposure to harmful bacteria, viruses, and parasites is what we read online.  Proper cleanup isn't optional, it's critical. Without thorough sanitation, drying, and decontamination, the environment can remain unsafe. To make matters worse, we later discovered that our belongings were taken to a storage unit managed by the same company, rather than a separate, qualified contents restoration provider. This raised additional concerns about proper handling and contamination control. Our home smelled like an unmaintained porta potty, and it was an incredibly stressful experience that I wouldn't wish on anyone. In contrast, ASAP Restoration has been a breath of fresh air. They communicated directly, professionally, and transparently. It's also reassuring to know they have several family members in the medical field, which seems to influence their understanding of the health risks involved and the importance of doing the job right. They have nearly completed the drying and remediation process and are coordinating with our insurance adjuster to ensure everything is aligned before moving into reconstruction. As a property management company, we unfortunately dealt with an extremely serious mold situation involving a tenant who experienced significant health issues due to prolonged exposure within the unit. The tenant had reportedly made multiple ER visits related to respiratory symptoms and other concerns tied to the mold conditions in the property. Prior to hiring ASAP Restoration, another company had been brought in that claimed they could simply "spray the air" and then perform their own testing afterward to declare the property safe, without any independent third-party clearance testing. Little to no actual remediation work was completed. Proper containment, source removal, and removal of affected materials were not addressed, and the issues returned almost immediately. When we walked into our rental property after our last renter left and saw that the base boards were coming away from the walls and the paint was peeling or bubbling in 4 areas of our home, our hearts dropped. Long story short, a plumber came out to my home and immediately told me I needed a restoration company. He said he only works with one because they're "the best in the valley." We returned home from vacation and our water heater leaked which caused some substantial water damage. The insurance adjuster came out and gave us a couple of references for restoration companies. After both referred restoration companies came out and walked the areas that had been damaged I felt I needed another non-biased opinion. My wife found ASAP online and said they had very good reviews. I called Josh with ASAP to see if he would come out and give me a quote. Interestingly, the adjuster initially referred us to a few companies, but after a little research, we discovered they weren't even licensed with the Arizona ROC, which was concerning. Well... I guess I technically got the new kitchen cabinets I always wanted.    I just didn't expect the renovation to start with my R/O system hose disconnecting while I was out of town for the weekend. When I got home, I was greeted with about 3-4 inches of standing water throughout the property. Not exactly the homecoming I had in mind. There was no time to flip through the Yellow Pages (do those even exist anymore?), so I asked Google and did some quick research. Bethany answered the phone and was excellent  direct, knowledgeable, and refreshingly honest. She explained the process clearly and didn't sugarcoat anything.
