I highly recommend ASAP Restoration and their crew of people on staff as well as related contractors. The front office staff was always Courteous and efficient as well We had a leak in a Powder Room, and multiple plumbers thought it might be coming from the Master shower. Other companies were prepared to tear down the entire built-in Master shower, but ASAP took a more conservative approach and found that leak was coming actually from a toilet in another bathroom! (imagine if we had torn out the shower and it wasn't even the source of the leak?!) ASAP's plumber got it right in their process-oriented careful testing. ASAP also took proper care with setting up a containment barrier for removing drywall, carpet, and baseboards, and bringing dryer fans. They met with the insurance adjuster multiple times and worked hard on our behalf to maximize our State Farm coverage. When one of the contractors made a mistake and removed tile he wasn't supposed to, Tony the Operations Manager absorbed the cost and made it right. While we experienced a few hiccups, Tony always took our call promptly and never dodged the difficult questions. He was patient, he was thorough, and he knows the business well. He never made excuses or tried to backtrack up on his commitments, even given extenuating circumstances that others would have tried to weasel out of. Tony and his people didn't. Really impressed! I had never had any kind of water damage to my house before so I really wasn't sure how all of this process worked at first. I reached out to them on a Saturday morning and Josh answered my call right away. He sent someone out to the house in 45 minutes to assess the water damage in my laundry room. Their guy Shamrock showed up and explained how the process worked and started by putting up a containment around the room, which was some of the most thorough work I've ever seen and set up the machines to make sure it was dried properly. They tested for asbestos since my home is older, which came back hot and within a day prepped the room and next day had the guys back to remove the asbestos. They have continued to do work and ensure that it was safe to be in the house and paid so much attention to detail. I trusted them to do their job and they took such good care of my brand new washer and dryer as well when they had to move it. I would definitely hire them again if needed and recommend them if you ever have any kind of water damage to your home or business. I was most impressed with how nice and professional all of the guys were that came by to work on the house and how easy they made the process for me. TL;DR This company is amazing, if you're surfing reviews like I do to find the best option, THIS IS IT. Over the course of a few months I have slowly been getting more and more symptoms. After pulling up my carpet and finding (to the untrained eye) what seemed to be mold I freaked out as all my symptoms fit mold exposure. I called them a 7am in the morning after being up since 2am freaking out and crying. Josh answered immediately(for reference I called another company too that claimed 24/7 and they put me through to a call center that told me they couldn't do anything until Monday...) anyway. He answered and I explained everything. He said he would try to get someone out same day, if he could, to test the air and the spots under my carpet. And let me know we'd be at the mercy of the third party lab as to when we would get results, but at least we could get the sample in as soon as possible on Monday morning. At some point in the conversation he briefly mentioned being the owner, so in the back of my mind I was like "Okay so, he's probably going to pass me off to someone else to finish up the rest of this process" as most owners do. But NOPE, that didn't happen, he stayed in contact with me every step of the way. Literally communicating any time something changed or happened. The testing company is third party, so there is no conflict of interest in ASAP making the problem worse than what it seems to get your money, but the third party was very nice also(especially to my dogs, which is most important lol) We awaited the results and Josh emailed them to me as soon as he got them, then he called to explain them to me. Turns out there's not any more mold in my air than normal (as there is mold everywhere) and he said he suggested I go see an allergist because something in my room in clearly making me sick but thankfully it's at least not mold. I would use this company over and over again(but hopefully I don't have to lol) If you want to be SURE you're not being scammed out of money by a company that does in house testing, you want to feel at ease, and I'm sure have a great job done as well if you have a problem then ASAP Restoration is the way to go. read more

They had wonderful reviews, so I gave them a call, I am so glad I did! They were able to come out the next day to assess my needs. Rich explained everything to me, and walked me through the whole process. They happily worked with my insurance company, making my life so much easier. They continued to remain extremely communicative throughout the entire process and provided me quality service even though there was no financial incentive for them to do so. They coordinated third party testing at my place and the owner of ASAP, Josh, called to personally explain the test results and to discuss potential next steps. Even though the test results suggested a course of action outside the scope of ASAP's business, Josh still spent a lot of time explaining the situation to me. He also provided detailed recommendations as well as several potential contacts who could help me based on the uniqueness of my situation. He did all this even though there was nothing for him or his company to gain. To my surprise, Josh even followed back up with me on two separate occasions with additional thoughts/ideas to assist me. We had a plumber come by for a leaky pipe and as soon as they came in, they immediately started talking about having a restoration company come by to fix "all the damage." They hadn't even looked at anything yet so the hard push to their preferred restoration company was a big red flag. I opted to hop online and call a different restoration company, one that the plumber had not referred, and am so glad I did. We had really excellent communication from everyone we spoke with at ASAP, and were so grateful to get an honest assessment from someone who had our best interests in mind. I highly recommend you take your business else where. if you start to read other reviews you will see that there are many similar types of stories. Run as fast as you can! ASAP Restoration is by far the worst company to work with. If I could give 0 star, I would absolutely give them a 0 all around. They are the most disorganized and act in very suspicious fraud like activity. From the beginning of when they were assigned to our house, they were completely disorganized, had a TON of turn over with their staff in which they let us know this was due to fraudulent activity within their internal staff. The first red flag that we saw should have been the fact that they claimed to "undercharge" us for our extra upgrade outside of our insurance approval and in return told us to give them a 5 star review. Everyone was sub-contracted out and the tile sub-contractor actually blew up at us and cussed us out escalating an issue based on his frustration with ASAP. Additionally, upon completion of our job, they cut all their contracts with their sub-contractors. Six months later, after the completion of our bathroom the owner Josh and his associates called us about 8 times within an hour and several texts harassing us and threatened to take us to court and send us into collections for money we owes them. Mind you this call happened in the middle of a work day, where my husband and I were both unavailable to answer the call due to being in meetings. My husband finally answered and asked that we have 20 mins to call back to understand what was going on, Josh was extremely rude and tried to say no. Once we did call him back him and his associates were extremely hot tempered and rude, cussed us out and then made absolutely inappropriate remarks. The company claimed we owed them $1500 as our deductible was $1000 (when all these numbers were false and incorrect) and we have documentation stating they would not start on our project until the money was paid in full. As professionals who are very familiar with insurance fraud an acting in suspicious fraudulent activity (working in the field for 10+ years), there were many red flag that this company demonstrated and they were reported to have an investigation completed on them. During the entirety of our project, the project manager didn't even come out until close to the end of the project, when there were escalations due to their sub-contractor cussing us out. Additionally, they also tried to close our our project with our insurance company claiming they completed our project weeks before they were even done. There is many more details to this horror story, but I have chosen not to relive this. read more

Our water heater failed and was leaking. We called the warranty company (Fidelity Home Warranty) who sent out Pruitts Plumbing. The plumber called out a remediation company (I never asked for) saying it wouldn't cost me anything but to be sure there wasn't water damage. Josh from DryLux came out and told me I needed $3,000 in remediation and repair. I called ASAP Restoration and spoke with their owner (also named Josh). He said it sounded very suspect. He asked if the wall had been opened up to actually assess the damage. It hadn't. My husband opened a small hole, wood/insulation both bone dry. Josh ran a snake thing in to look and said their was a small, 2" x 6" wet spot that would dry on its own. Thank you ASAP for being honest in a world of fraudulent providers (Drylux). An inspection on the home we were selling revealed an unexpected mold patch in a bedroom closet, a mere six days before the scheduled closing. There was no way I could envision the job being done that quickly, but when Josh heard of my extraordinary circumstance, he quickly assigned his best guys to the task. Worst experience ever and I heard they pay to take down bad reviews. I had a leak behind my shower wall and needed my Master bathroom redone. It took 8 months to be completed. The company had no idea what was going on the entire time and kept trying to get more money out of me, when no work was ever done. Then tried putting a lien on my house after I refused to pay the remaining balance (until the work was completed). They didn't believe the work wasn't completed and sent 2 ladies from their office to my house to check and make sure I wasn't lying. Then proceeded to try to ask for money again a week later, and still no one came to complete the work. The work was finally completed and just a horrible job all around. Grout on my tile floors not filled in, the shower doesn't drain properly because the shower pan was not installed properly, I didn't receive the correct shower door that I wanted. Two bedrooms in my home had smelled musty for a few months following a few events that caused me to worry that there may be mold growing on the drywall or in the wall of our home. I was so worried about my two daughters sleeping in those rooms and the potential health effects of them breathing mold spores. I did tons of research on mold, causes, remediation, and mold detection specialists in the Phoenix area. After way too much worrying, I called Josh at ASAP Restoration. He provided a lot of great info and was very patient and thorough in answering all my questions. He responded immediately and had an expert at my house the same afternoon to perform an air test to check for mold spores in both bedrooms and outside as a control test. Within about 24 hours, Josh emailed the test results and texted me to tell me there was no harmful mold detected. I had a few follow up questions that he responded to right away. Not only was Josh so considerate to text instead of call during dinner time with the results, because he "didn't want to interrupt family time", but he was also 100% honest and transparent regarding cost and diagnosis. A contractor, while doing a remodel in our home, caused a leak that went undetected for about 48 hours and the damage was not fully realized for almost a week. The contractor acknowledged the problem and made an effort to remedy the situation by bringing in a fan and dehumidifier. It turns out that was too little, too late. I called ASAP on a Sunday and Josh, the owner, was over the same day to review the problem and suggest a plan of attack. The next morning we had two big dehumidifiers and 6-7 fans drying out walls and floors. The equipment remained for 5 days. In the end, 3 wood floor planks in an adjacent room needed to be pulled and replaced. In all my years, I have never met a person in the service business as dedicated to customer service.
