I have been coming to Asia Express for as long as I can remember, and it's one of the few places that's food hasn't gone downhill over the years. One of my favorites is their hot and sour soup with beef, but you can get it with pork or shrimp, or nothing. My mom's favorite is their War Won Ton soup. I've probably tried most things on their menu by now. Their ribs are also pretty good and tender. The prices are extremely reasonable. I got 3 items for just over $40. And it was A LOT of food. Probably enough for 3-4 people. The owners are very sweet and friendly, and will try to accommodate you as much as possible with your requests. Hot n Sour Soup: 4/5 Same consistency I've had at other restaurants and same great flavor. Just would prefer it hotter (temperature wise). It came with a 2 entree plate to go but I was actually wanting a large cup but it comes with like a 4 oz size. Shrimp Fried Rice 5/5 GREAT with an abundance of large shrimp; greasy though, I like it this way, so if you don't like your fries rice greasy this may not be the spot for you. Super flavorful and huge portions. 2 entree plate 2/5 The combo plates can be made by a selection of meats and sides. Set up is very similar to Panda Express with how it's on display and the types of entrees offeres I got the spicy orange chicken I think it was and the string bean chicken. Again very generous portions, I chose fried rice as the noodles weren't too appealing for me. The chicken tasted stale/not fresh and there was a lot of breading. The fried rice is veggie and greasy like I like. The string bean chicken was good though with zucchini and string bean veggies present. I would select a different entree for sure and definitely try the other items on the menu. They accept card and likely apple pay as their POS was an IPAD. This based on our first delivery order. Order arrived on time as estimated and the delivery gals were friendly and cheerful. Got mongolian beef, honey walnut chick, shrimp, appetizer platter. All was absolutely delicious. The portions are outrageously generous so will enjoy leftovers for days. Will explore more of the menu, for sure. Tried out this place based on the numerous raves of fellow Yelpers. However, I did not share the same sentiment! Located in the back of a strip mall, you got your bead shop nearby as well as Middle Eastern food store. Quite unassuming-looking, I wasn't sure if I had the right spot until I saw the "People love us on Yelp" sticker and the congratulatory letter taped to the front window from Yelp Inc themselves. Service was a bit average bordering on impatient. I wasn't sure what I wanted straight away, but ended up getting a chicken dish to go. I wish I remember what it was! It was kind of like sweet and sour chicken without the thick sauce. The size I got was the $3.90 size and I have to admit the guy really packed it in. However, I tried the chicken and some of it was dry and chewy. Spouse and uncle thought it was tasty, but they were, like, ravenous. And to quote Ben Franklin: Hunger is the best spice. Granted, I did come after "lunch hours", it was around 2:00. So maybe my food experience would have been better if I came at lunch time and had tried out different kinds of food. I will return though, I mean, the place does get glowing reviews, maybe I came on an off day and I always believe in giving places a second try, unless it is REALLY bad. read more

First off, I'd like to say that the people here are very nice and friendly. Usually you don't get that at Chinese restaurants, especially ones with steam tables. I like how they have a steam table where you can just be in and out quickly or order something from the menu to be made fresh. We called in our order and it was ready in 15 minutes. The food is pretty good and reasonably priced. The fried chicken, shrimp, and fish had a bit too much batter so I wouldn't recommend those items but the chow mein and wonton soup is pretty good. The Mongolian Beef has good flavor but a little salty. It's good with rice which is how it's supposed to be eaten but if you're low carbing, I would ask for less salt. I hope I'm not shooting myself in the foot here for saying this, but this is probably the most under-priced Chinese fast food place ever. For just under $10, you get 2 choices of entrees and rice/chow mein. But, they pack so much food in the plate, I couldn't even close the box. But what really makes this place special, is that your order comes with a soup! What place does that...? This place! It's amazing! You really get a bang for your buck here. I had the sweet and sour pork and the garlic chicken. The sweet and sour pork was really good. It wasn't drowning in sauce like what most Chinese places do. The garlic chicken was basically pop corn chicken. I loved it. I enjoyed the hell out of that. It beats paying almost $6 for super breaded chicken at boba places. I almost very much enjoyed the hot and sour soup! It didn't put a crap load of water chestnuts in there. It had just right amount. I would definitely come back to this place. One of those times you roll the dice on a outdated little one-off spot, and lose. I live very close to this shopping center and since I was at a shop nearby, I thought I'd finally give it a chance. When you walk in, you see hot food on warming trays (official name unknown?), a extensive and rather cluttered menu, and two coolers with drinks and...cheesecakes? The older couple working behind the counter were all smiles and friendly. They have a decently sized dining area to the right with a big screen tv. Free Wi-Fi !! I ordered a 1 item combo from the pre-made food on warming trays. Sweet and sour pork, with half half fried rice and chow mein. It comes with a complimentary soup - your choice of hot & sour or chicken corn porridge soup. The soup - really tasty! Just the right thickness and saltiness. The rest...well....all of it was just lightly warm not hot. It didn't taste fresh at all. The sweet an sour pork had turned chewy and doughy not a crispy fresh breading. Meat was tough. I appreciate the big portions of noodles and rice but I wonder if they were trying to pawn it off because it was old - it tasted SO greasy and old. Blah. I left 90% of it on the plate even though I was still a bit hungry. Very nice employees, free Wi-Fi is a plus, but....not the best experience. If I were to ever try them again I might try ordering something fresh made off the menu. Never again to the pre-made food on the warming trays. I've tried this place twice and don't think I'll be coming back. The food isn't very good. The items I've tried taste very one dimensional, like they aren't properly seasoned and are quickly thrown together. Instead of being slightly tangy and sweet and creamy, the honey walnut shrimp mainly has a oily deep fried taste. Eggplant tofu is covered in a thick goopy sauce that seems mostly like corn starch slurry. If you use their website, they'll try to charge you more once you get to the restaurant. read more

I've been looking for a replacement for the China Dragon and when a few yelpers said they downsized and moved to a new location, so I had to try them out. First did they deliver to my work? Yes! That was great. Even though they are not far away, I just didn't have the time to go looking. The menu posted previous is out of date, but most of the items are still there. Only one size though, unless you get a plate versus an entree. The plate comes with rice and less entree. My wifey and I wanted to try several things, as you can see from the pictures (yes, that night was all one order, we won't be so enthusiastic in the future)! LOL All the portions were quite generous for the price. We had food for 3 days. :) First on the list was the potstickers. I remember at the CD having to wait 15 minutes for them, with the promise they would be worth the wait. They were. Would they still be as good now? Well, not quite... A plus - they were still large and homemade looking, not something from the mega-mart freezer case. Also did well with reheating them in a low toaster oven. Only minus is the edges got a bit dried out. Well, whatcha gonna do when it's several hours before take-out gets taken home? Still tastey and a generous 6 for $5.00. I was afraid the fried squid would get soggy so I wanted to open it up at work. When I got it out of the bag I noticed there was a corner cleverly cut away. Still didn't do the trick, there was still a lot of sweat on the top of the inside of the container. I dried it off as much as I could and left it open to the air. Still, once I got it home they were soggy. However, they can be brought back to life! I put 5 or 6 on the tray of our small toaster oven for about 5 minutes. It worked! They crisped back up just fine. I was wishing for some tartar sauce while munching them! lol Next up is my wifey's favorite, egg fu yung. She couldn't belive it is on the menu. She also couldn't believe they will make it any way you want, veggie, shrimp, combo... She tried veggie this time around. She loved it. Said the sauce was very generous, and so were the two huge pancakes. Only minus it was a bit messy, the sauce leaked out a bit. Plus though, they put a separate plastic bag over it, so the sauce didn't go on everything else. Next up is the honey walnut prawns. By far the best dish we both loved. It's even good gently reheated briefly in a low microwave. Only minus is the broccoli was way under cooked. A little soak in the hot and sour soup heated up fixed that, lol. Next we tried some each of the veggie fried rice and chow mein. Again for the price, very generous portions. Both were good. Again a minus with the chow mein, the broccoli was very undercooked. I like veggies crunchy chef, but not quite like that. A few more mins in the wok for this client please. A minus of the fried rice, after two days it had a sour taste to it. To be safe, we tossed the remainder. Hope this was just a one time fluke. Lastly was my mongolian beef and hot and sour soup. Again, very generous portions. Pluses, the beef and the soup were spicey. The beef was mostly tender, with only minor grisely bits. A minus was the sauce was a bit too sweet for my taste. A nice combo of different onions though. We asked for a set up for 4. More than enough bowls, spoons, forks, soy sauce, chinese mustards, sweet and sour sauce, and napkins. Minus, no chop sticks, lol. I think there was even an extra fortune cookie thown in. In all, we enjoyed most of the items, and will try them again. read more

We ordered Asia Express online through DoorDash and I guess everything we ordered was from their steam plate section so ready for pick up in minutes. I thought our chow mein and orange chicken were a little bland but my husband loved it and finished mine. He got his he curry chicken and said not spicy, but still good. The place was hopping when I arrived and people loved the grab and go quick food from the steam plates, I just wasn't expecting them and got a cafeteria vibe. Lots of parking and good location, workers were nice and it's a tiny place for just take away. You can call ahead for large orders (2 hours in advance seems like a good amount of time) and they will get your items ready right before you show up! The orange chicken is really crisp and the noodles were a crowd favorite, not too oily or salty. Soup I didn't like at all and I never told her and she let me have a sample of chicken corn soup which was good. The rice was pretty good and my friend got an egg roll and literally dripped grease. Place needs a remodel but isn't terrible. Bathrooms are okay. They have a panda style case you order from but nothing interested me. I'll be back for rice and that's bout it. The customer service here is great but their food just isn't amazing. Although their chow mein is delicious, their fried rice lacks flavor. I got their orange chicken and sweet and sour chicken, and it had too much sauce and too little chicken which made it a little overwhelming.
