Their customer service is incredible! The first time I ordered, they told me it'd be 30-45 minutes and the food didn't get delivered until 90 minutes after ordering, which was okay considering the pandemic. Found this restaurant while looking for some place open on Christmas Day. The restaurant was very busy. The owner was so nice and apologized for the wait and added free egg rolls to our order. She explained that it was the first Christmas since they had opened & had not known what to expect. It was probably so crowded because of the fresh and wonderfully tasty food! I have never tasted better Asian food and have been to Hong Kong and the Far East. My picky teenager loved her dish and the rest of my 4 member family enjoyed our dishes immensely. We are going to make this our preferred Asian restaurant. Best fried rice and cream cheese rangoons ever. The shrimp were huge in my lemon shrimp order. I ordered the special beef, fried rice that was an up charge and the spring rolls. My bill was $16.54. The fried rice was little more than what I thought was steamed white rice with chicken bullion. There was nothing fried about the rice, as well as nothing in the rice. The beef entree was just gross. It was so over cooked that it was like beef jerky, over battered and fried three times longer than it should have been. There was few tablespoons of the sauce that should come on the beef and it was all on the bottom of the box and you could barely put it on the horrible meat that they served. The spring rolls had nothing but mush inside of them. Not to mention they made me stay outside in 100 degree weather. Very insulting. Covid is over people. I had to immediately run to CVS for some floss because almost every tooth in my mouth has strings of over cooked beef. We didn't get to eat here as they were super busy on Christmas Day evening. They were one of the only places open and got slammed with orders. I used to work in restaurants so I know how stressful this can be especially when you weren't expecting a rush! We waited for a while for our food but eventually canceled as it was taking a long time. We got a voicemail today from the owner apologizing for this. Totally unneccessary but such a great gesture! We had such high hopes for this place after seeing the amazing reviews, but we were let down for sure. I do want to say that having any food delivered during the quarantine may not keep the best results of food quality after it travels. But the service was super fast and the delivery man was very nice and wearing a mask and gloves. The Happy Family that I ordered was just ok. It's a combo of beef, chicken and shrimp (there was only 3 total shrimp in the meal). Overall, this meal was pretty bland and lacked any noticeable flavor to make it stand out. It wasn't terrible but I wouldn't order it again. The Special Beef was not special. It was supposed to be a lightly breaded beef meal, but it was over cooked and made every bite an extremely hard and tough piece to chew. The sauce was on the side so that it could travel better. Perhaps it needed to sit in the sauce for a while to soften. The fried rice was more like a Mexican dirty rice. We'll try a couple more things down the road, but this experience was a C+. Called restaurant, placed on hold but can overhear an argument with customer in restaurant for a few minutes. Finally comes back but disputes the order, finally after minutes got logged into her system and realized oh yes she did order the soup and I messed up. It's not even about the soup, good customer service would just correct it without trying to investigate about a $3 when we just ordered $65 worth of food. Food had no taste, bland & no veggies but two thick uncooked slices of carrots. Couldn't eat the meat it had a funny taste & chicken spring rolls also no taste. Will never order again & will not recommend. This is not the first bad experience but my second I just didn't leave a review the first time. This is the BEST food ever! We order it through their delivery option and it arrives hot and ready to eat! My husband is a picky eater and he doesn't eat leftovers...he not only liked the sweet and sour chicken w/fried rice and eggrolls...he said he wanted what he didn't eat to have for dinner. The fried rice doesn't dry out when you reheat it and is so fluffy.
