    Thai Dumpling
    Brett A.

What an amazing place! I was completely blown away by the quality of the food. You can immediately tell everything was home made, prepared by hand, and made with love. We tried the Thai Dumplings, which was a ground combo of shrimp and pork wrapped in a tender noodle, and served with the most delicious garlic sauce I have ever had. Next we tried the Chicken Satay, which was so perfectly cooked and seasoned. Firm on the outside and soft and juicy inside, it was amazing, but the best part was the peanut sauce... it was an explosion of flavor. I wish I could pick out all the unique flavors in it. We got the Drunken Stirfry add lo mein noodles, which was great. Some spice added a nice touch, and all the veggies and meat were cooked perfectly. The mushrooms soaked up so much flavor We also got the Pad Thai, which was the best Pad Thai I have ever had. The meat, the noodles, the sauce, it was all perfect. The only thing missing was spice, so our waitress brought out a cup of their chili oil with their home grown chili peppers, and it was actually the star of the evening! It's not super hot right away, it actually has a semi sweet flavor, and then the heat grows in the background and creeps up to a nice burn. I drizzled it all over the Pad Thai, which took it to the next level. Not only was the food amazing and of the best quality, our waitress was also just fantastic. You could tell she was proud of the food they served, and we trusted every recommendation she made. She explained the dishes, explained the heat levels, and even took the time to do a chopstick tutorial for me, even though she was the only server there and was busy. She was friendly and represented the restaurant perfectly. Overall I can't rate this place high enough. We will be back all the time, I cannot wait to try more of their menu!

    House salad

Never been here before so I didn't know what to expect. The house salad is tiny and costed $6.50.. I was hoping it'd be a little bigger considering the price. I also ordered the chicken satay which was very fatty. I'm sure the other items on the menu are great but I was very unhappy with what I ordered.

Great food with fresh ingredients at a reasonable price. All of our lunches were great; we will be back for sure.

Wow. We need an Asian Cravings in Columbus. We were impressed by the pad Thai, the pineapple fried rice, the Thai dumplings, won-ton soup, the Tom Kha soup and yellow curry. Ambience is calming. Booths and clean and comfy. The waiter was fabulously attentive. Service was great. My daughter commented that the plates were pretty. Keep up the great work.

Got the steak and shrimp hibachi but usually get scallops. The food here is amazing. Good portions, great quality. Gordon approves.

First time here and the food is AWESOME!! So glad to find Thai AND Japanese food in one place. I'm from North Carolina where they have Hibachi galore so I was a little skeptical since I heard Hibachi was new to Akron and becoming popular FAST. As a new restaurant the place was packed but the food was worth the wait! They were short staffed as anywhere else but they made sure I had a delicious experience. I will definitely recommend to more locals and out-of-towners as well. This was food from two days in a row. Everything I've tried so far was cooked to perfection. I have absolutely no complaints... MUST TRY.

Chicken Hibachi Chicken, Tom Kha Soup

Great food, great service, great vibe, and affordable prices. Can't beat this place when you're in the mood for Asian cuisine! We had the chicken hibachi, Tom Kha soup, chicken egg roll, shrimp tempura roll, and a side of noodles. Everything was DELICIOUS! (I ate my entire roll before getting a picture lol.). Kudos to the chefs for a great meal, and the service was great too! We stumbled upon it while shopping at Acme and definitely recommend trying this place. Can't wait to go back to try the red curry!

Fried rice. Adding onions would be a wonderful touch

The storefront is surprisingly small and the inside is pretty cramped. We ordered a lot of things but just to get a server to give us menus and bring us waters took almost 10 minutes. Service was quite slow and getting our check took the longest. However, waiting for the actual food to come turned out to be not quite as bad. We got a bento box dinner, roll, separate salad (my BF couldn't help ordering this as an extra even though it's supposed to come with most entrees) and a fried collarbone of a tuna (forgot this term). Prices were slightly higher than other places like this but it did have this gigantic menu that was fun to browse. Taste and presentation of dishes were fine. Nothing really stood out. It wasn't really a place I was excited to go to again, especially not on a weekend. Early on while we were waiting for our food, the hostess gave my 8 yr old daughter a bill for another table with their debit card inside. We alerted the server after 5 minutes but that was not cool!

She got a roll and I got two (salmon and sunset). Both were good! I wouldn't order the sunset roll again as the black pepper tuna was a little spicy for me, but the quality of everything was great. The salmon quality was awesome-- much better than usual smoked salmon. The fish was in big chunks and had a buttery texture. My only complaint is that the menu description was wrong and it said the salmon roll came with cream cheese (I know that's usually a Philadelphia roll, but that one had no description and the salmon roll said cream cheese, so i went with it.) Their spicy mayo was great! Prices were "normal" for sushi. Food was ready quickly.

They seemed a little short staffed considering their small dining area was full and had a steady flow of dine-in guests as well as a very busy takeout flow. Service wasn't very attentive. It was a cold/snowy evening and because of the constant stream of takeout orders the temperature inside the small space was either very hot or very cold. The food was good, though! We had the spicy kani salad, edamame, and four rolls. All were fresh and tasted good. This seems like a solid spot for takeout but not a place I make the trip to dine-in for.

We called ahead and they told us they could deal with this. in person, the folks taking the order asked the cooks about the allergens before putting the final order in. Staff are helpful and to the point. They are from Hong Kong. Their food is amazing! We felt safe from food allergy stand point. They checked labels and control the ingredients going into the food. Small restaurants with a few tables for 4-6. And also a long counter along the wall with places to sit at like in other ramen places. Highly recommend!!! 10/5. The food took a little longer than expected to come out, and not everything hit the table at the same time, so a few of us were eating while others were still waiting. Not the end of the world, but it's always nicer when everyone gets to dig in together. Now for the good part...the food was definitely worth talking about. Everything came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. I don't think anyone at the table had a bad meal, so major props to the kitchen. The only thing that really held this visit back was the service. Our server started off really pleasant, but as the night went on she became less attentive and seemed a little frustrated. We found ourselves waiting quite a while for things while she seemed much more engaged with her other tables. By the time we were ready to pay, she was crouched down on her phone and looked a little annoyed that she had to stop what she was doing to cash us out. We all have off days, so I'm hoping that's all it was. We actually rated the experience a 7.5/10 while we were sitting there, and for us that's a solid score because we're pretty tough critics. The food absolutely carried the night. Unfortunately, the service knocked it down a bit. We all work in the restaurant industry ourselves, so we're usually the first people to give grace because we know how chaotic a shift can get. I'd definitely come back for the food and hope we just caught our server on an off night

I liked how much food you got and how you had a few options to choose from. Food: * pineapple passion mojito - 5/5 absolutely DELICIOUS. It was a perfect drink to have with dinner. It was light and refreshing with just enough sweetness. * chicken and pork bao - 4/5 super yummy! I actually liked the pork more than the chicken. It was almost like a buttery taste. It was soft and the meat just fell apart. The chicken was good too but was more on the tough side, probably because it was fried. * spicy beef ramen - 5/5 I will absolutely be back to get this again. Just the right level of spice. All the ingredients were fresh, well made, and delicious. It's the type of food that you can't help eating more of even though you're beyond full. * crispy chicken ramen - 3.5/5 This was still a good choice! I loved the chicken in it. I think this is a very safe choice for anyone who might be on the more picky side. The broth was good but not spicy. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this place! There are so many options and there is something for everyone to try.

The hibachi chef leaned hard on a pee joke. One of those bits that might land with an eight year old but just kills the energy for everyone else at the table as everyone was 30+. Hibachi entertainment lives and dies on the performer and this one phoned it in. The food itself is bland compared to what the area offers. Edamame in Medina and Umami in Cuyahoga Falls are operating at a noticeably higher level on flavor. The only thing wasabi has on them is watching a guy cook.
