The food in this place is awesome! I love the fried rice and the manchurian cauliflower. Can't wait to go back.

Was visiting from out of town with a friend back in March and my cousin and his girlfriend…read morerecommended this place for dinner one night. We got in line around 7:30 pm on a Sunday and waited about an hour to order our food and another 20 minutes or so to be seated. You pick all the seafood you want first and how you want it prepared. Once you're seated, you get another menu with appetizers and other cooked dishes. Your seafood gets brought out along with any other dishes you ordered. Everything we got was really good and cooked to perfection. It was such a unique experience as well. There's a reason why the wait for this place is so long and I would recommend anyone to come give it a try!

But I found it mostly mediocre. My companions found it delicious. The wait on father's day at 2:30 pm, to just get in and order was over an hour. The food: the best we had was the grilled octopus - it was thinly sliced and mildly spiced, but cooked to perfection. The pasta was also delicious! The fried smelt was very disappointing, no flavor no crunch on the outside. I was told that the scallops and the shrimp were great. They looked great. The appetizers we disappointing. The babaganoush, the tahini, the beets, the eggplant and the salad all lacked flavor. The bread was just heated up pocket pita... the mint limeade was fine. The fries were fine. The service was very attentive, and the decor cute.

A very helpful woman behind the counter guided us through the seafood selections and clearly explained the different preparation options. The food absolutely delivered. The grilled calamari (their style) was excellent, and the octopus was perfectly cooked, so much so that my picky toddler ended up eating almost half of it. The space was very clean, and the overall vibe was immaculate. Definitely coming back here again.

The ones we had been to in the past usually allows you to also pick different type of cooking style or seasoning but this place only cooks it their way. It's good for people who are indecisive but disappointing for people who want variety of flavor. They usually have a section of appetizers and drinks you can order on a separate menu as well. The staffs were very low energies when we visited on a weekend night. The overall ambiance and interaction made us feel a little uncomfortable. We ordered: - eggplant dip - fries - Greek salad (large) - cooked fish - calamari - octopus Honestly I was so disappointed with the food. It didn't taste as fresh and was overall too salty. The eggplant dip had a weird taste. Friend fries were not as crispy and unevenly distributed portions of salt. The calamari was nothing special. The fish was okay, and the octopus was so salty we actually sent back the dish. It was very difficult to enjoy it. The staff was so accommodating and actually took the dish off our bill. (Thank you!! - great customer service!). My favorite item was probably the Greek salad, but then again it's hard to mess up a salad. I would say this is my least favorite counter order style seafood restaurant in Astoria. My friend said great things about it prior to my visit and I really wish I would have liked it.

All their locations have pretty good ratings so I can't really go wrong. Came around 11am on a weekend and it was busy but there were tables available. The tables are arranged pretty strategically to fit as many as possible, which isn't the best for comfort. The service is nice here. The menu is in Spanish but they do have an English menu if you scan a QR code. I ordered the craken taco, costra taco, verde aguachile mixtos, a half dozen grilled shrimps, a la exotica, and guac with fried octopus. Everything was delicious! This place did not disappoint. Although, next time I'd probably skip the Craken taco and verde aguachile even though these two are a top recommendation. My favorite dish was probably the grilled shrimp. The way they grill it really brings out the sweetness and flavor of the shrimp. I personally enjoyed the la exotica more than the aguachile. The guac was also really good and the fried octopus was a good addition. I will definitely go to their other locations. This is a must try for seafood lovers.

Position are a bit small for a whole in the wall like this and prices are high especially on the tacos but that's because the quality seems really good and fresh and effort put into it. I'm so glad we did. It was wonderful. Some of the best greek food i've ever had. The service was lovely. Thank you to Daniel. My friends and I ordered a bunch of stuff on the menu and it was absolutely wonderful. There is also very delicious complementary dessert. It is a small restaurant so it's very tight. If we wanted to get a table in the main dining room, the wait was estimated to be over 2 hours (we went around 8pm), so I highly recommend making a reservation if you plan to go. The staff were very quick with service and very friendly. We were offered toasty bread with some lemon and an olive spread while we waited for our food (which also came out super quick!). We ordered the octopus and lamb chops. The octopus was incredibly tender, the meat was very soft - I personally would've preferred a little more bite to it, but it still tasted good. The lamb chops were flavorful. The medium here is on par with medium rare at most other places, and one of our pieces was borderline rare. At the end of the meal we were also offered complementary desert, which was a pleasant surprise. We enjoyed our meal overall, but just know that it's a little on the pricey. The octopus and lamb chops came out to $80~ pre-tax and tip. Would recommend if you're a fan of seafood!

We had a few misses: The Eggplant and Salty Fish (2/5) the eggplant wasn't cooked long enough to achieve that desired soft texture, and the salty fish was overwhelmingly, salty. The Sweet and Sour Pork Chop (3/5) had potential, but each piece was sliced too thin and over fried, making the whole thing unnecessarily crispy instead of tender. The Fish Maw Soup (3/5) lacked the depth of flavor we were hoping for. Chicken fried rice (2.5/5): tasted like what you would expect, Americanized fried rice The Highlights: The Mayo Shrimp (3.5/5) was a better dish; we appreciated the nice crispiness, and it was an interesting take to serve the mayo on the side. The Snow Peas with Garlic (4/5) was perfectly executed, fresh and garlicky, a simple but standout veggie dish. FYI: cash only

But the real revelation is the skirt steak. It carries a deeply seasoned, char-grilled crust that locks in a perfect, juicy interior. It is, without exaggeration, one of the the best damn skirt steaks you will ever encounter in this city. Decor (4.25/5): It's a small, intimate room that hits you with a cozy, effortlessly cool vibe.
