I got some carry out from them for the first time. I called it in around 12:15. When I arrived, they charged me for the dinner portion instead of the lunch. They didn't ask me which one I wanted. Given that I was ordering just a few minutes after noon, it seemed obvious that I wanted lunch. The total did seem high but I thought there might be a large tax. When I saw the order, I said something about them doing this. No response. I think they deliberately upped my order to give them more money. Will never get food from here again. Lesson of the day - even though it's obvious that you're ordering lunch, you need to be VERY clear with them or they'll charge you the higher amount. read more

Asian Garden is one of Bristow's little gems we discovered more than 5 years ago. AG is truly the best Chinese restaurant in the area serving generous portions of well-prepared and flavorful food. The sushi is the best and I highly recommend the Samurai, Wasabi, and Virginia rolls. In the Chinese menu General Tso's Chicken is the best I've had and the Thai cuisine is also strong (the red curry being the best). I love the staff and the owner and manager are very welcoming. Keep it up! :) Pros: The food is excellent and carefully prepared with prompt and efficient service. Update: Since speaking with the owner, he had my meal free and apologized and sent his employee to also apologize. The owner also asked us to please come back and sent out ice cream for the whole family. That was appreciated and I hope no one has this experience again. If it hadn't been for this experience this place would have received a four or five star. The food is excellent here. Unfortunately we had an unforgivable experience today which negates a long standing good relationship. The waiter (Troy)who serves my family on a regular basis treated me extremely poorly and although at first I thought it was a language barrier, I asked him to clarify what he meant by nasty comments. My mother and I have dietary restrictions and cannot certain foods of which I reminded my mother when ordering, the waiter said "it's better when you're not here." When my dad asked him to repeat to understand his meaning he said "when your daughter isn't here mama can order whatever she wants. It's good because you order lots of food. So it's better when she's not here." This is not okay. My dad had him apologize, but it was an insincere apology and the man didn't understand what he was saying. I'm extremely disappointed in the behavior. The owner was informed and apologized to my father. Again, not the person who should have been apologized to. Both apologized to me. Walk away from here. The restaurant is clean yes, but the service of the staff here is poor and the sushi isn't the greatest (everything but the cream cheese tasted lukewarm to room temperature). The person up front came off more interested in my wallet than figuring out what I liked, though she approved of my choices. Sushi I felt while presented well was sloppily made and in quick haste. I sensed no passion, just an assembly line feel to making it here. And that showed. It didn't agree with my stomach either, suffice to say. It's my regret to conclude I will not return. read more

I stopped in for take out this past Monday for lunch. The lady at the register was nice. She took my order and told me it would be ready in 15 minutes. I walked to Safeway and when I finally came back 10 minutes later, it was ready. It was really quick. I ordered the lunch sizes of beef and broccoli hunan style and Mongolian beef. The portions are actually pretty good, but the meat to veggies ratio is so off. After 5 pieces of beef, you're left eating just broccoli or just onions. As a meat lover- very upsetting. We did a DoorDash delivery from Asian Garden for the first time this week. We typically order from Hunan Star but we wanted to try something new, I'm glad we did! The food arrived quickly and it was hot. I ordered General Tso's in "mild" with fried rice. The chicken was tender and not at all chewy. The flavor was delicious, not too sweet. We also ordered Kung Pao chicken and it was great. The only negative was that the dipping sauce for our crab wontons was missing. We will definitely give it another try. read more

Food was the worst takeout I have EVER had....and to top it off the next day my credit card number was stolen (which I had to give over the phone). Obviously, their facility isn't the only location I used my card at that day, however, it was one of two new places and the other was a big box store. read more

We ordered dinner via door dash on Christmas Eve. The ETA kept changing and at one point it changed to order complete.. without the food. Because we were close by, we hopped in the car and drove over to the restaurant. It was INSANE inside. A packed restaurant, a crowd of people waiting for tables or orders. The staff were doing their best but there is only so much you can do when you're that out numbered. While we were there speaking with the front desk, our family called to let us know the food had been delivered. And it turns out, it was a kind employee of the restaurant and not a door dash driver that delivered the food. The food was hot and delicious and the service was spectacular. I've lived in manassas/Bristow area for 6 years now and have yet to find a good Asian cuisine restaurant. I ordered a few chicken dishes and a few noodle dishes. The chicken was kind of chewy. The Singapore noodles had a weird taste. The rice was really dry and I had a few hard pieces that actually crunched when I chewed it. The egg rolls were chewy but dry as well seemed like they were old. Food wasn't hit either which is strange because they cook fresh most of the time. I am often skeptical about run of the mill suburban Chinese restaurants. After growing up visiting Chinatown in Philly and New York, I was rather spoiled when it came to the cuisine; however Asian Garden rivals what I am accustomed to. The restaurant is extremely clean, the staff is vey friendly and the food is wonderful. We ordered take out and we were quoted a time of 10 minutes for pick up. We arrived in under 8 minutes and the food was ready. The woman at the counter was polite, wished me a happy new year and moved through the transaction quickly. The food was excellent. We ordered an order of the General Tso's chicken, shrimp fried rice and an order of egg rolls. The shrimp fried rice was packed with shrimp, which is often a rare find. The chicken had a unique spicy sauce that I do not often attribute to General Tso's. The egg roll were quite good and very full. All in all, this was an excellent experience; and I will definitely be back. This is the best Chinese I have had since I moved to the NOVA area. read more

Yesterday I placed an order on an app as I usually do, I requested extra ginger and wasabi (I always do) they charged me for it and only gave me extra wasabi, 2 containers. No ginger. I even wrote in my order they forgot it last time. Last visit I did call back and explain the situation and they said they'd make it right my next visit, instead they did the exact same mistake and charged me for it.
