Ordered takeout from Asian Kitchen on Greenwood on a Sunday evening after discovering they had my favorite dish, egg foo young, on the menu. We ordered the house egg foo young, chicken chow mein, cashew chicken, and two orders of white rice. The food was delivered within the hour after ordering online. Everything was delicious and we had more than enough food to comfortably feed three people. The chicken was cooked perfectly in both dishes, and the flavors were spot on well-seasoned without being overly salty, which is something we often run into at other Chinese restaurants. I will definitely be ordering from Asian Kitchen again, and I'm excited to try more items from the menu next time! Will have to come dine-in at some point too.

A solid 4-star Chinese Restaurant with limited hours. Better than "meh" and short of "fabulous," but a definitely a repeat spot. Expensive. $146 for three people's entreès with appetizers (3) delivery and a tip. Definitely solid portions, but the downside is you have to add $3 per person for rice, which the meat dishes do not come with. I ordered for us Broccoli Beef (delicious), Almond Fried Chicken (better than most), and Cashew Chicken. Apps. included my go-to favorites: BBQ pork, Fried Pot Stickers (Gyoza) and double order egg rolls (vegan). Only problem with this order is they did not give the requested extra hot mustard for the pork or the extra gravy for the Almond Fried Chicken. Not a biggee. They close at 9:00 pm, so I recommend getting your DoorDash order in by 8:50. A lot of good dinner places close at 9:00 now, and after a while, fast food gets tiring.

Asian Kitchen is one of my favorite for takeout dinner as the menu offers dishes filled with vegetables that my husband and children enjoy. Even when busy the quality and taste of each is consistently great. I also greatly appreciate the portion as each dish yields enough to feed all 5 of us. On the weekends I recommend placing your order online to give the kitchen time to prepare your order ahead of your arrival being that the parking lot offers limited parking. Customer service is always pleasant, even when busy. We typically order to go, but there are ample dining tables inside. We will definitely return, and recommend!

Hands down my favorite Asian cuisine restaurant in the Seattle area!! Everything from the prices, the food, and the service was amazing. They gave very large portions and made sure you were taken care of. I will definitely be coming back here again soon!!

Solid American Chinese food, perfect for takeout. Service was super friendly and ordering online was a breeze. In this economy the family combo meal was a steal for our family.

We went to this restaurant tonight and it wasn't too bad. Them food were very tasty. The service was pretty good. Most of these plates were ordered from my friend. We ordered Hong Kong Style Crispy chow mien, braised pork with tofu, house special fried rice, egg plant w! tofu; and Mongolian beef. All plates were prepare very good!!! Over all I would rate it a 3 *

We are looking for a Chinese restaurant to eat dinner and found one with good reviews and reasonable prices. Here's what we tried: - Pork Xiao Bao: $7.99 - Steamed Rice: $2 - General Tso's Chicken: $14.99 - Beef: $6 - Vegetable Spring Roll: $4.95 - Chicken HK Crispy Noodle: $14.95 - Salt and Pepper Fish (it's crispy; I thought it would be steamed with sauce, but we should ask first): $16.95 - Soda: $2 The food is tasty but very oily and salty which is normal for Chinese food. The guy serving us seemed to be part of the family that owns the restaurant, which was nice. It was a relaxed atmosphere, and we can consider trying another meal here next time!

If you don't look quick you can easily drive past. But it is definitely worth seeking out. Easily the best chinese food, traditional or american, I have had outside of China town in Seattle. Food was spiced perfectly, even though I got 4 stars it was incredibly well balanced to enable some spiced while still tasting all the other flavors. Service was quick and positive. Definitely will be back. Only slight downside is parking lot is tight.

Amazing American Chinese food(yes even for a picky person like me). The staff is super friendly.

    Hainan Rice Noodle

The Hainan rice noodles are incredibly authentic. The shredded pork inside is delicious, and the roasted peanuts are super crispy. It's definitely a hidden gem on the menu. The salt and pepper fish fillet is made with really fresh fish--crispy, flavorful, and not greasy at all. The braised beef brisket with potatoes is outstanding--the brisket is tender and flavorful, and the potatoes are soaked with rich taste. Absolutely delicious. The service is excellent, and the environment is clean and well-organized.

Parking in front is so hard to find. Can you park in the lot next door where the bus stop is located without getting you vehicle towed?

No, I suggest down the street, on Greenwood Ave. or around the corner. Don't leave any valuables in plain sight.

Their food is just that good and the unpretentious vibe is actually quite comforting and reminds me of my childhood eating in similar stellar family-owned restaurants in LA's Chinatown. I don't think you can go wrong with any dish. I highly recommend their Pan-Fried Rice Roll with XO Sauce, Braised Beef Brisket w/ Vegetable in Stone Pot, Curry Beef Brisket Lo Mein, and their Salted Pork & Chinese Sausage Rice. My go-to drinks are their awesome Mango Smoothie with Coconut Milk and Sago and their refreshing Iced Coffee. They make such satisfying comfort food! The restaurant was lively with a moderate noise level. A simple family restaurant that puts out authentic Chinese food. My companions both ordered the Black Mushroom with Chicken Rice in a stone clay pot. Their regular meal at the restaurant. I selected the Braised Beef Brisket with vegetables in a clay pot. The two rice dishes require 20 minutes to prepare hence my Braised brisket arrived first and bubbling hot. The flavors were rich and deeply satisfying. So good that my companions plan to order the Braised brisket next time. The Chicken Stone pot clay rice bowls arrived soon afterward. My friends enjoyed their dishes. Fresh tasting and delicious crispy rice. One ordered a Milk Tea and enjoyed it. Highly recommended for an authentic meal when you are in Seattle's International district!

Service is quick and straightforward. We ordered the pineapple bun with butter, mixed steak plate with black pepper sauce, and spare rib and chinese sausage clay pot. The pineapple bun was large, hot, and crispy with the sugary crust, although I wish the slab of butter was a bit bigger because it gets a little dry after you run out of butter. My boyfriend really enjoyed his mixed steak plate - it came with a pork steak and beef steak, steamed rice, and steamed veggies. The meat was fine but the real winner was the savory sauce! The clay pots take 20-30 minutes to cook which they tell you ahead of time, so be aware my boyfriend was about done with his food when the clay pot came out. This was a delicious classic dish reminiscent of the clay pots back in Hong Kong! I poured in a ton of sauce and it really gets absorbed into the hot rice and meat. The steamed bok choy was a nice refreshing touch. Our favorite bite was the crunchy rice at the bottom of the pot mixed with the delicious sauce. There's so many menu items that caught our eye and we'd love to come back and try it all! Hearty, delicious no-frills meals.

Since my last review the restaurant has closed and reopened, and expanded their menu, to now include more dumplings and varieties of noodles. They also now have a very handy duo of ordering kiosks, which you order at prior to sitting down. I found their kiosks easy to use, which isn't always a given. This being my first visit back in a while, I had to get the spicy cumin lamb biang biang noodles. However I had to try some dumplings, so we shared the lamb dumplings, while my dinner buddy had the spicy cumin lamb rice noodle soup (the same kind of noodles you'd get at a ten second yunnan noodle type of place). They also now have a complimentary side dish bar that has seaweed salad, peanuts, and kimci, as well as some condiment type things like scallions and minced garlic. I helped myself to some seaweed salad to nibble on while waiting for our food, and it was good although food comes out quickly enough that you don't necessarily have to rely on it unless you're really chomping at the bit. The spicy cumin lamb biang biang noodles are just as good as I remember. The biang biang noodles here are perfectly chewy, and the rest of the dish has a lovely flavor aside from just spice. They're generous with lamb and cabbage which add a lot of textural variety to the plate. The lamb dumplings were the sleeper hit of the meal, filled with juicy, tender hunks of lamb surrounded by toothsome clearly hand-rolled wrappers. Absolutely do not skip the lamb dumplings. My dinner buddy really enjoyed her rice noodle soup with spicy cumin lamb, which I think would be a great option on a cold day. Everything is pretty much self serve here, so don't expect full service -- although they did stop by to refill our water once. The food here is so good, though, and prices are so reasonable, that I truly do not care that the experience is pretty bare bones otherwise.

I had ordered the regular spice, but for me, I would've chosen the spicer one as I like spice but wanted to be safe. There was lots of really good flavors. The overall space and bathroom was very clean and a great spot for lunch!
