We went to Aspen Grille to celebrate our anniversary and had an amazing time! The food and service were amazing! The bar tender was phenomenal! Definitely a great choice!

Great salad, delicious steak and excellent service. High quality establishment. Worth every penny. Highly recommend.

Delicious salad, scrumptious steak and excellent service. Good till the last bite and worth every penny. Highly recommend the Rib Eye, cooked medium.

Greg the bar tender is the best. He always offers something creative and the presentation is lovely. The bar has a wide variety of liquors...and I'm always seeing something new. Love the atmosphere of the Aspen Grille...upscale without feeling stuffy

Special occasion dinner at Aspen our first time here. Reservations recommended, we chose an evening Sunday. Sparking water, bread with three different salt tastes. Specials for appetizer and entree my wife chose, oysters/grouper. I went for scallops as that's my fave lately at beach. We were provided with a free champagne toast for anniversary, nice touch. What really was memorable for me was the bread pudding with one scoop vanilla ice cream, excellent. I also partook in the Lemoncello Digestif, after dinner liqueur to settle a full stomach. Everything was excellent, don't be alarmed by the bill, charge.

We went here for dinner on the 23rd for our 10 year anniversary. When we arrived we found a card for us on our table! How sweet! I had decided on the filet, until our waiter/bartender came over & told us about the grouper special. Now, I don't like mushrooms & I don't like bok choy; however the way he described it- I had to try it! Let me just say, it was the BEST thing I've ever eaten! EVER !!! I refused to drink my wine while eating because the flavor was so out of this world, I didn't want to ruin it! My husband said his filet was good, but I'm not sure it was as good as mine!! We enjoyed a glass of wine, great service, and a PHENOMENAL meal!!! Thank you, Aspen Grille for making our anniversary so tasty!

I drove an hour and was told they only except reservations on Valentine's Day. It says clearly on their website no reservations needed. No where does it say reservations needed for Valentine's Day. The website states their New Year's information nowhere does it say on Valentine's Day reservations only. I was told by the staff " Well it's on the door." And when I said that I can't read their door before coming, I live an hour away, their response "oh well" The OWNER was standing there through the whole interaction with a snub look on her face. She heard everything never apologized she just said " Noted". A simple I'm sorry you came so far but we cannot accommodate you was all that was needed. When I turned around to leave she said "We didn't want you here anyway." Thinking I didn't here her. This is where I felt this was racial. The comment wasn't necessary. DO NOT GIVE YOUR MONEY ŵTO THIS RACIST ESTABLISHMENT. IT SHOULD BE HIGHLIGHTED IN THE MEDIA AND BOYCOTTED UNTIL THEY CANNOT BE IN BUSINESS TO TREAT PEOPLE THIS WAY..... after reading some reviews I notice that there are many people of color who had bad service i know they have good reviews but take this into consideration and look at the not so good reviews they are interesting especially the POC that ended up with salty food, after reading that review and my experience I'm sure there's a reason it was salty and it wasn't because that's what the recipe calls for.

Just DELICIOUS!!! I was looking for a birthday dinner spot for a friend and Aspen Grille did not disappoint! Beautiful, inviting interior! Some of the most attentive & courteous service ever! An absolutely flawless meal--from the innovative bread accompanied by an array of salts to enhance your butter, to the perfectly crisp and seasoned calamari, to the expertly prepared & beautifully plated salmon & lamb chops, to the thoughtfully provided complimentary champagne toast. 10s across the board--definitely adding Aspen to my must visit list for whenever I'm in the area!

Absolutely a must to enjoy a great meal, great service and great cocktails and wine selection. We ordered escargot and it was delish. I learned I am not a fan of cheese on them and would get them without next time (and there will be a next time) but this is not their fault, just a taste preference of mine. Al steaks ordered were perfectly cooked to order, most were Med. Rare. Steak flavor was spot on! Place was clean and the decor was very cool. We will return.

We went again this year for our anniversary. I made the reservation online with the note that it was our anniversary and our table card was for birthday. The calamari and the bread with butter and salts are fantastic. We ordered the same entrees as last year because of how delicious they were. We had a very long wait between appetizers and entrees. The entrees did not live up to last year. The quality of the ingredients had noticeably declined. Our waitress had zero personality and was actually borderline rude. We won't be returning.

Do you still have the great happy hour?

Can anyone shed a little more light on appropriate dress code? We will be vacationing and want to pack accordingly for our reservation here.

Everything is pretty casual in SC, you can wear from jeans to shorts. When we go to Aspen my husband wears a nice of pants & a nice shirt, I also wear nice slacks & a nice top.

And it did not disappoint. The crab legs were the highlight--always stocked, served warm, and cooked really well. I tried a few other items that were just okay, nothing super standout, but for a buffet the quality of the crab legs alone made it worth it. We waited about 20 minutes in line to be seated, which wasn't bad, but just a heads up--there wasn't really anywhere to sit while waiting, so that could be a bit tough for anyone who needs accommodations. The desserts were also pretty good, and the place itself is huge. I loved the design details--everything has a nautical/boat theme, even the buffet stations and tables, which made it feel unique compared to other buffets. Service was great. We just had water, but staff constantly came around refilling drinks, clearing plates, and taking away crab leg shells, which made the whole experience smooth. Overall, we left full and very happy--definitely worth it if you're a crab leg fan!

This year, in thinking ahead, we made reservations to ensure we'd have a table at a time convenient for us without a wait. When we arrived at our time, we were immediately seated at what I think is one of the best tables, a little higher up in the restaurant, beside a full wall of windows with a perfect view of the beach. Absolute heaven! As usual, I began with a margarita and She Crab soup. Their soup is my favorite. The hushpuppies that they bring to the table and the butter that accompanies them cannot be beat. Hubs had the shrimp and grits and he loved it. It reminds him of his mom's which is the highest compliment he could ever give. This time, not being super hungry, I tried the Avocado Seafarer salad, and I will most definitely be getting it again. We never fail to have great and kind service at this restaurant. That was all lovely, but the food was absolutely phenomenal! We didn't realize hush puppies were a provided table item, so that was a pleasant surprise. They were fresh and their butter accompaniment made them even better! We split the mussels appetizer and the shrimp and crab papardelle entree. Everything was absolutely exceptional and hands-down one of the best dining experiences I've ever experienced. Would love to come back again and again!
