Veal and veggies.

Wife and I had Valentines dinner here. Assaggio's may be the only restaurant in Kapolei that have white cloth tablecloths and cloth napkins, along with a rose on the table. We were seated quickly and our orders were taken quickly as well. Service was efficient, friendly and professional. I got a veal entree with melted mozzarella and sautéed mushrooms and assorted veggies. Wife got a special Jambulaya. For desert we shared a Tiramisu, washed down with a glass of Tuscany Merlot. Food was excellent. Service was excellent. It's a nice slightly upscale restaurant, though still island casual. Plenty of free parking. Highly recommended.

On Monday, 7/7/25, at 12:30p my friend and I stopped by for lunch, at Assagio's in Kapolei. The restaurant was busy and we were readily seated. We were served our water promptly and given our menus to order. We were also given complimentary bread and butter as we waited. We placed our orders and then settled in enjoying our warm bread with our cold butter. It was also nice that we were given another basket of bread and butter to have with our meal. Our luncheon came soon after. My friend and I both ordered the Carbonara dish. I chose to have my Carbonara with Fettuccine and she had hers with Linguine. The Bacon and ham pan-fried in olive oil, garlic, onions, mixed with egg and parmesan cheese, was perfect. The Carbonara was savory and rich. The silky sauce that coated the pasta, achieved with incorporating the eggs and cheese with the hot pasta without overcooking them was sublime. We both enjoyed our respective dishes. It was also a pre-birthday luncheon for me and it was so nice of our waiter to surprise me with a Spumoni ice cream with a candle. The Spumoni was nice and sweet with the candied fruit mixed in with the ice cream. We definitely enjoyed our luncheon and it was wonderful that our waiter packed up our leftovers for us to eat for dinner later. We will definitely be back to Assagio's to have Italian fare again in the near future.

We visit here 2 times a month on average. I like the way they cook their noodles. Tonight and the time before was average. The chicken very dry and a bit overcooked for both my wife and my Chicken Assagio for $34.90. The service and ambiance are great as usual. I love their house dressing for their tossed salad for $10.90 and my wife's Cesar Salad for $15.90. I think we will try another Assagio's to see how it compares. It's good, but at $120 each visit for spaghetti it drops to average. But in the past, many times it's been above average so I'm thinking it's the holiday rush or a new cook.

Shrimp picante, my favorite dish here!

This is my favorite Assaggio location on the island. It's not too big and the service is always good. The dining area is intimate and there is plenty of parking. The food here is always on point. I've tried many of their pastas and it's always full of flavor and super fresh! I also love their fresh baked bread and butter, it's super warm and soft every time. Some of my favorite dishes are the shrimp picante, lasagna, and their steak and chicken pastas. This is a good dinner choice for special occasions.

Bday lunch at Assagios. And of course I had to have my filet mignon pasta with extra sauce and rice on the side. Never disappoints!

Sooo delicious!!! I hesitated to come here but I was craving pasta. I had the chicken, Jumbo shimp and snow peas in a white wine sause. My husband had the chicken assagio. And we both topped it off with a Cabernet by Josh. Amazingly, incredibly delicious! My first visit and NOT my last. Looking forward to trying their other dishes. Service was very professional. Wonderful people. It doesnʻt sit much people so come early.

Assagios has been around for as long as I can remember but I don't come here often enough. We first tried to come for our anniversary but made the mistake of not making a reservation thinking it was not going to be super busy. It is a fairly small restaurant and they don't open super late. We learned from our mistake and came the following week. I used to always order the shrimp scampi but my more recent favorite is the chicken and shrimp pesto pasta. It is so creamy and yummy. My husband always orders the lasagna which he devours every time. They serve you as much warm bread as you want and the servers are always on top of their game. I definitely need to put this in our dinner rotation more often. And don't forget dessert!

Nice service and food was pretty good. Kinda pricey and not really somewhere I'd crave to go often.

We had six people who each had an entree ands we had 2 appetizers to share. $183. None of the people were happy with their dish and the appetizers were not very tasty. Everything was just Okay. But, there are plenty of choices in Hawaii for much better tasting foods for the same price. I think they must be taking shortcuts in the kitchen in order to have competitive prices. Attached is a photo of the lasagna which was $18 and whose flavor fell flat. This was by far the worst tasting lasagna I've had at any restaurant. The service was top notch being friendly, courteous, helpful and prompt

Today my office decided to do take out from Assagio's. We had the Jumbo Grilled Shrimp Salads and Lasagna. That dressing they use on the Salad is addicting. Oh and those Jumbo shrimps were huge and delicious . The Lasagna was a wonderful treat. Their Meat Sauce was so delicious . Definitely cravable. Everything was hot and ready for pickup as promised. Impeccable service.

Date night with hubby! Saturday night (July 26,2025 @5:00pm) The restaurant opens at 4:30pm and at that time we were the third table seated. We began our meal with the appetizer "Home Made Hot Antipasto" it is described as Mixed Seafood in Garlic, Spicy Cayenne and Paprika with White Wine Butter Sauce. I would definitely get this again and again. My suggestion would be to dip the warm bread they bring to the table in the white wine butter sauce. Hubby and I shared the classic Caesar salad. Crisp and fresh! Hubby had the "Shrimp Alla Francese", it is described as, Pan Fried Breaded Jumbo Shrimp in Egg Batter, Garlic, Lemon, and a White Wine Butter Sauce. LOVED IT! I enjoyed (but didn't finish it) the Lasagna. Perfect flavors, ample meat and onions. It is described as, Hearty Tomato Meat Sauce with Ricotta Cheese and Melted Mozzarella. The melted mozzarella was the lovely! I thought about enjoying a glass of wine but we skipped it this time and I just had an iced tea. The service was amazing, my water and iced tea glasses were NEVER empty. As soon as we were finished with a plate, the staff came by within 2 minutes to clear it from our table. Very attentive and friendly. Mahalo to Orin our server, and the entire staff!

Do they deliver?

They have a lot of Take Out orders. I've seen Door Dash , Grub Hub do pickups

How do you reserve a table her? I have been unable to contact or get a call back from anyone for days. Any suggestions?

Call in the afternoon or evening time Wednesday thru Monday to make reservations. The hours are dinner only from 5pm-7:15, Friday, Saturday is 730

Ok tried call tonight at 8:45 pm and they were closed. Does anyone know if they will be open on Friday the 5th for sit down customers?

I'm not sure if they are even answering their phones. We've struggled to reach them-assuming they shut down. Eventually, we just went in person and ordered carry out. Food was still amazing as always. But definitely a struggle to contact them.…

We specifically came out to support our friend who was the musical talent providing the live entertainment from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Our reservation was at 5:30 PM, and the vibe was so good that we stayed all the way until 9:00 PM. Because we arrived during the last 30 minutes of happy hour, we immediately ordered a major spread of pupus from the Pau Hana menu. We shared the lechon style brussel sprouts, hand-cut fries, steamed shrimp & pork won tons, scallion bread, and fish tacos. Every single bite was delicious. I paired the food with a Hana Koa Roof Top Pale Ale from their local drafts list, which was crisp and excellent. After happy hour wrapped up, I moved on to the dinner menu and ordered the Half Pound House Burger and fries for my entree. The burger was perfectly cooked and incredibly flavorful. Overall, the food and ambiance were absolutely outstanding, and the service was prompt, attentive, and friendly from start to finish. People come here to drink, I'm not a drinker but there was plentynof alcoholic beverages on the back wall for your choice that it could be overwhelming. This is a bar with indoor seating and a World Cup game was on. I think there was outdoor seating but it looked like a different restaurant to me. We ordered dirty fries, a sweet tea, the simple smash, village smash, and sweet tea. I have to admit, I'm overly harsh on burgers but from the first bite, this hit right to me. The dirty fries were good also. We washed down that salt with their mildly sweet sweet tea. That's the only miss for me as I like deep sweet tea thanks to some time spent in Mississippi earlier in life. Very flavorful, but not as juicy as I would like it. Bun was crisp, bacon added an extra touch to the burger making it more than average, delicious! __________________________________________________ Captain Messy Hands, Keeper of the Drip: 7/10 stepping into the smash burger arena for the very first time. Ordered the Village Smash Burger Double Angus patties, cracked pepper crust, mustard, bacon, lettuce, tomato, onions, American cheese, and their signature Village sauce. This thing came out looking clean, sharp, and locked in. First bite? I finally understood the smash burger hype. The patties were thin, crispy around the edges, and perfectly executed the way a smash burger should be. That cracked pepper crust gave every bite a nice little punch, and the sear on the beef carried the whole experience. No sloppy grill work here! This burger knew exactly what it wanted to be. Now let's address The drip. Or in this case... the lack of it. This burger leaned more dry than messy. Not Sahara desert dry and not dry in a bad way, just controlled. Precise. Balanced. The bun actually deserves respect here because it stayed soft, moist, and held together from first bite to last bite without collapsing under pressure. Structurally elite. But CMH lives for chaos. I like burgers that need a stack of napkins nearby. Burgers where sauce hits the wrist. Burgers that fight back. This wasn't that type of burger. And honestly? I still respect it. Final Verdict...A clean, well executed smash burger with serious crust game. Not a drippy monster, but a strong introduction to the smash burger world. __________________________________________________ The Premium Purists: 9.5/10 The Village Smash Burger is a trendy modern burger that still hits with nostalgic deluxe flavors. I was very impressed by this burger. To me it was luxury in every bite! The balance of flavors from the beef, seasoning, sauce and LTO was on point. Buns stayed solid throughout the entire experience. It's a smash so the patties were a little drier but to me the flavors made up for the lack of juice.
