    Today I came in to the nearest ATT store inquiring about ATT's PTT " push to talk" service for business when arriving spoke to Joe who was unaware att offered such a service nor was he interested in helping me look into the services ATT provides and redirected me to the North avenue and York road location. it's a rainy day with minimal business What ever happened to customer service? Oh well on my way to North & York

    From the actual AT&T website any device bought on AT&T.com can be returned in a retail store

Maybe they've had so many complaints they asked to be removed... Anyway: We were unhappy w/ Cricket's connection quality, the constant text message ads, the misleading phone specs (re: Bluetooth), and the poor technical support. After about 6 months of using the Cricket pre-paid service, we decided we had had enough. So we went to the Cricket store in Villa Park, informed them that we wanted to stop the automatic credit card billing, and that we would discontinue the service when the currently paid for service ran out (in Jan 2012, w/ the last invoice pre-paid in Dec 2011). Their response was to cut off our service right there on the spot. I asked how we would get a refund for the service already paid for, and was given the number 1-800-CRICKET. We were connected to a call center in "Southeast Asia" where the rep - Sky Ortiz (hmmm...) - informed us he could reconnect our service, after we paid a month in advance. He would then credit our account for the remainder of the service we had already paid for, so we would then have almost 2 months pre-paid of service (which we didn't want...), and they would be automatically billing our credit card - again... I informed the rep that was unacceptable, and asked which of 3 options he could do - reinstate the remainder of our already paid service, send us a refund check, or send us a pre-paid credit card for the difference (we heard somewhere along the way that the pre-paid card is how Cricket does refunds.) He said he could not do any of those things - only what I described above. I asked to speak to a manager, and was informed that there were no managers on duty, and none would be available until 9pm U.S.time (?). I asked how I could speak to a Cricket representative in America, and he gave me the number of the Cricket corporate store (The Villa Park store is an independent sales store) in Chicago's West side. Calling the corporate store, we were never able to speak to a human. We got the option to leave a message (did that already, earlier this week - no call back), we were cut off from the phone menu for "billing questions" because we didn't have a "customer authorization number", we were cut off from the "existing customers" phone menu because Cricket didn't recognize our (now disconnected) phone number and, finally, we were also cut off from the "speak to a rep" menu because the reps just didn't answer... we got another opportunity to leave a message. In all cases the system just announced "We cannot continue with your call" and hung up. So, to summarize: Cricket's phone service sucks, their customer support is practically non-existent, their problem resolution processes are, at best, evasive, and their overall corporate strategy seems to be centered on taking your money and never giving it back under any circumstances. I don't know if they're the "1%", but it sure isn't for lack of trying.

From the moment we walked in, the customer service was outstanding. Ricky, our sales representative, was incredibly knowledgeable and patient. He took the time to explain all the phone options, helped us find the best service deal, and made sure we understood everything before making the switch. He made the whole process smooth and stress free. The store manager, Rashid, was also fantastic. He stepped in to help us finalize the purchase and made sure we were getting the best value for our new phones and plan. His professionalism and friendly attitude really stood out. Overall, both Ricky and Rashid went above and beyond. If you're thinking about switching carriers or upgrading your phone, I highly recommend visiting this Verizon location in Addison, IL. Excellent service, great deals, and a team that truly cares about their customers.

    It's a big store attached to a new mini strip mall near Walmart. It's right off the main roads (Rt…read more53 and Lake St). Their agents are OK, nothing really stand out of their Customer Service. The choices of phones and tablets are comparable to other carriers. They state all stores can serve you if you have any technical issues. My husband/Mom opened up a business account with them. Their agent that was working with them seemed like a newbie..didn't care much of him. If you open up a business account, it's best to call ahead of time and a rep will be at that store time/date and they will take better care of you. I'd only come back here because of location and it's a bigger/newer looking store. They need to up their customer service attitude. Smile more, money is coming into the door man...start sucking up!
