First time I went they were helpful but when I returned for help with cancelling a line the guy running the shift sent me to another store 15 minutes away just for them to tell me they could not help me and that the CS from this store shouldn't have sent me away. He could've just told me from the beginning there was nothing they could do rather than sending me away bc he did not want to assist. I went to this AT&T about a month ago because my old phone was cracked at the moment. I was told by two employees I was eligible for a trade-in with a 200$ payoff from the old phone. I'm a CNA and should have received my first net discount and didn't get told the right information they were so eager to sell me the phone that they missed information so that the plan goes through completely and now their up-charging me for services we didn't discuss that day my phone bill is almost 400$ for one line I also just visited the location for more assistance on the matter and was told I the employee wasn't even aware of eligibility on my account for the discount but it was originally set up by this individual just horrible customer services here and bad phone service so to them just jacking up my account and blaming me and even charged me unknowingly for a 17$ monthly insurance fee for the new phone which is a 16 pro by the way guys read more

I came in to change a number on one of my lines. The worker who helped us said he was a manger. He's a got a black beard and a tattoo with the name "Olivia" I think on his arm. Basically, he acted as if he couldn't change the number because I'm on a payment plan. So he texted his boss to get permission. After a few minutes of waiting, he said he can sell me a line for only $10 a month because we can't change it. I told him I'll just call and he said he'd help us with the call. He proceeded to call their 800 number, placed the call center representative on mute, and said to follow his lead. He told the call center representative we had a police report for DV and we needed to change the number. None of this was true or needed. The call center representative changed the number in minutes. He then said he was just feeling lazy and wanted to provide us customer service with the call. read more

I went in to get the price of a new phone wanting to get the next one up. She took my phone to "see" what I had. I told her and she said it would be cheaper if I just got the 10x and less memory... THEN she said first I needed to back up my phone, I told her it is backed up already. THEN she processed to back up to cloud anyway and changed and transferred it to the new phone which she estimated wold be 3-4 hours. I said cancel it I DON'T have time. Her and the coworker said they would charge me because now the phone is considered used. When my grandson went out to my car a few times they "snapped" at us saying every time you open the door you should pay for something because that affects our numbers....(that freaked him out thinking we had to really pay them NEVER going back... Place is horrible in customer service. Came here wanting to return a phone that I ordered from AT&T online. The sales rep said hold on and went in the back room to make a phone call to his manager. Manager did not want to give the refund and sales rep told me sorry he cannot help me even though it states in plain writing on AT&T website. All orders from AT&T online can be returned in a retail store. He just was too lazy to go through the process. Also inquired about unlimited talk text and Internet because I am paying separate for each individual service. He told me to just keep what I have because it's better. Left the store completely aggravated. drove down the street to the Elmhurst location, talked with an awesome AT&T employee named Kevin who actually knew what he was talking about. We returned the phone with absolutely no problems and also lowered my bill by close to $50 a month with an unlimited plan. Ridiculous how some places can completely ruin experience by having bad employees. If you want to have a headache please by all means check this place out for yourself - this is just my opinion as always. read more

Incompetent employees and management trying to make quick commissions. During my visit to repair one of our family plan phones salesman offered to save on my billing but instead costing me $300 of additional fees selling services you don't need saying that they are free of charge. When I complained few days later after looking at the billing , the manager said that he will fix the issue just need time, but after three weeks of me coming back he has never done anything. Just empty promises, it seems that he doesn't have time for existing costumer to solve problems that they caused and at the end he became rude telling me to leave the store because he had other clients waiting. I had to call AT&T costumer service directly to straighten out my accounts but the $300 additional fees were not reversible after billing cycle ended. I've been the AT&T customer for more than 20 years with multiple phone lines and that is the first time I encounter something like that. I would avoid this Addison store location, not a good people there. read more

Today my phone died and i couldnt hear out of it... i decided on my break i would run to att to get me a new phone.... they were not open yet so i decided to run next door to get breakfast then get a new phone when they opened...the 2 young men they have working at this particular att are racist.... i was told that i couldnt park in the att parking spaces... i tried to explained to them that i was waiting until get a phone from them.... it was 3 cars in the parking spots assigned to att and att wasnt open. AT&T customers... this outlet near the Marcus Cinema takes very good care of anyone walking in their door. When I walked in they wouldn't know if I was an AT&T customer or not but I was helped within a few minutes with a busy store. The service rep closest to me asked my problem (stolen phone), resolved the issue within a few minutes by "burning" my old sim card so I could keep my old phone number, then providing me with a loaner phone. I felt awful about going to another site to buy an iPhone but they don't offer it. read more

No stars if I could. Came here to switch my entire family over from T-Mobile. Took the sales guy 7 hours to do it (We spent the whole day at AT&T on a Sunday) The "promotion" at the time was switch carriers, trade in your old iphone, get $650 credit towards a new iPhone, get an iPad free when you also bundle it and sign up for DirecTV (which we did) we were told we would pay just $10/month for unlimited data. So we got the iPad. We come back with questions for our bill after the first month because it was a whopping $800 and no one in the store could help us. Their solution? "Call customer service, we can do literally nothing in the store" So I call customer service and they say? "That store was able to set up your account but they can't help you with your bill? That's not good" Turns out that $10/month for unlimited data was actually $40. So we got charged for their misinformed employees. The "trade in iphones" didn't go as smoothly either. So now I'm back to trade in the last iPhone and return the ipad. The "new hire" that was trained two days ago to do the trade in by HIS BOSS forgot how to do it. So he makes us wait another 45 minutes give or take for the "manager" Maggie (Magdalena Estrada) She tells us she can't honor the promotion because it's past the 30 days of the promotion. However, the sales associate who signed us up originally, failed to mention we had 30 days to turn in our old phones. He said "When your phones get in and you have time, come in and we will do the switch) In addition to this, their "sales rep" Jose Munoz took our trade ins just 2 days prior. But here is Maggie, who says she "can't" take it. (she was also in the store 2 days ago when we did the trade in) Round of applause to a "manager" who is willing to lose 4 lines to T-Mobile because she refuses to take one last trade in. (We couldn't do all three trade ins 2 days ago because Jose said he needed both the new and old phone and my father was at work so all we had was the old phone) Avoid this store if you could. They hire incompetent employees who customers rely on for correct information to make informed purchases. But they take no responsibility when it comes to correcting the misinformation committed by THEIR HIRES. The customers ultimately pay the price for the employees mistake. I was a 10 year customer with T-Mobile, and in switching over to AT&T, I relied heavily on their sales team to provide me with the correct information about plans, policies, etc. I was not provided any of that. And not only am I not compensated for it, I am told I was wrong and I have to pay all this money. In short, I have filed a complaint against them to the FCC. Anyone who has also had a problem with this store, I encourage you to call (888) 225-5322 and file a complaint against them. Let corporate AT&T know what kind of people they have representing them on the ground. Liars, misinformed employees, scammers, etc. In case you guys didn't know as well. We as consumers have 4 basic rights: 1. Unsafe products should be pulled from shelves 2. Be given enough information to make the right decisions 3. Choice to choose 4. I came in to sign up for TV and Internet (switching from Comcast), I was greeted by Raquel. She was knowledgable, friendly, and best of all not pushy. She also helped me out with a few issues that came up after I signed up. They had the wrong address when they came for the install so we had to push it back and I had already lost half a day of work. Raquel did everything in her power to make it right, including discounting the installation as well as $200 in credits. When I got my first bill they had not discounted the install. I called Raquel and she had it taken care of within the hour. She's fantastic with follow up. It's so nice to find GREAT customer service, especially in that industry & after dealing with Comcast's awful customer service. I highly recommend asking for Raquel if you plan to visit the store. Also, as a side note I'm much happier with my AT&T services than I was with Comcast. My internet is much faster and the wireless receivers are amazing! read more

Avoid this store ! We switched to AT&T in November of 2015. At that time the store manager KJ convinced us to switch all of our services to AT&T. Comparing prices what we were paying before it sounded like a great deal! We got 2 cellphones, 2 iPads, land line, direct TV, internet and Digital life. Sounded like a great deal ! Until we got our first bill! As months went by each bill was higher and higher ! We would spend hours at the store trying to figure this out and of course we were told it will take few months for the accounts to combine. Not only we are stuck with them for another year because the cancelation fees are out of this world, the staff changes constantly and managers do not last here!! I've seen them all come and go ! They all blame the previous employee for the mistakes! When switching to them We had the employee give us a full estimate of our monthly costs (with the name of employee and signature). Estimate was off by over $100 and the manager was unable to resolve the issue! Customer service over the phone is no help either! Stay away from this store and useless employees!
