Horrible Customer Service. I was there for 15 minutes - no acknowledgement/greeting whatsoever - no help, no eye contact, VERY unprofessional. I know both female workers saw me as I was pacing back and forth and looking in their direction. Do I expect them to stop helping the customers they were sitting down with and help me, No. I DO expect them to say "Welcome, someone will be with you soon". I have worked in retail, and this is a NONO. Also, one of the working was chatting away with a customer about something Not related to phone/internet issues. If a customer is waiting you DO NOT do this. Have a personal conversation if no customer is waiting. As someone who is a NEW customer and switching over to your business, NOT a good first impression to make AT&T! After waiting 15 minutes with no interaction at all, I decided to go up to one of the ladies and ask for help. What an ordeal and hassle this was to set up my phone. My family switched over to AT&T and I was told by employee that I had to have the person who set up the account come IN PERSON to store to give me "authority" to turn phone on and they would need to see their Drivers License. What?? They could see that I am under the account - my name, my phone number, etc. Had to have AT&T call Head Account holder (since my phone wasn't turned on) and I had to ask them to stop what they were doing and drive to store to show worker their drivers license. We were told that this could NOT be done over the phone even if a photo was taken of their drivers license and sent to store. Also, once Head Account holder arrived, employee had a VERY hard actually activating my phone to AT&T network. I thought I would be there 5 min, 15 max, but this turned into an hour and 20 minutes ordeal. Later that night I realized that my voicemail wasn't working/set-up. I have Never had to set up my voicemail when I've switched carriers and had no idea how to do this. Sigh... so the next day I called the AT&T store where I was previously at and explained issue. The female employee I spoke with didn't sound confident (or didn't want to deal with it) about being able to set up voicemail and visual voicemail. She told me to call AT&T Customer Service. I asked for the number - she said dial "000". I repeated it and said, just call "000", hit send and I will get an actual human and not a Bot. She said Yes. Well, I called "000" several times only to get a message saying "your number cannot be completed as dialed". Ughh, had to call store back gain. This time she told me that I had to dial "611" first, then "000". How was I EVER to know that??? The AT&T Customer Service tech rep I spoke with over the phone was great and was able to help me, the IN STORE AT&T employees were not. They need a refresher course on Customer Service! read more

I needed help with my new phone and transferring data from my old phone. I also needed help with receiving and calling from the new phone. I messed up installing and starting on the new phone. The representative that helped me was able to troubleshoot and fix the problem. She was patient and competent. What she did to fix the problem, I would not have figured out on my own. I had the most amazing experience today. Was having several phone issues. Arianna helped this senior (me) figure out why I was experiencing glitches. After explaining my issues, Arianna reviewed the problems I was experiencing and cleared up a bunch of messes (lol) and updated my phone, I thought was gonna have to buy a new phone. But my phone is back. She was so patient with me and treated me with respect. We need more customer service oriented people like her. read more

Avoid this place like the plague. They lie directly to your face and when you complain to AT&T, they take no responsibility because this is a franchised store, not a corporate one. My bill is twice as high as what the woman working at the store told me it would be, and they added two insurance plans without my consent. They also did not apply the phone credit that was advertised on flyers throughout the store. Now I know why some people were so upset when I was there signing up. Wasn't the best service. List of errors: 1. Submitted my name incorrectly even after correcting them. Had to call CS to correct it only to find out I have to wait 30days 2. Didn't port my number correctly (had to troubleshoot at home on why my number didn't get ported correctly) 3. This place is awful. The Manager, Manny, was rude to the older older gentleman in front of me who didn't know how to use his flip phone and then it was my turn... Manny first tried to tell me that 5Ge was the same as 5G but told him that I knew that it was ATT's fake 5G and that I also had that on my "non 5G" iPhone 11. So, lies. This store is completely incompetent when it comes to 5G and contradicted everything ATT tech support told me the night before. My iPhone 12 Pro won't show 5G and manager Manny tried to push all the blame to Apple and dismiss me. They swapped the SIM card which he wanted to charge me for and I said no way because it still doesn't work. He then said I needed a new phone because I bought it from Apple and not ATT. It was just constant lies to get me out the door. So at the end of the day, 5G still didn't work on my iPhone 12 and I've wasted all that time. read more

I purchased a popsocket packaged in the wrong packaging and paid $14.99 for a Rose Gold Popsocket when I should've been charged $10 for the solid black popsocket. When I called the store about my dilemma. They said it was out of there hands and that all popsockets in the store are $14.99. I questioned why the online price is $5 cheaper than what I paid. SCAM ARTISTs and Snakes!!! I have been coming here for years with no issues. They have new management and are slamming and putting other products on people's receipt. They told me the act fee was $45 and its actually $30. Then they added a prepaid number to my receipt so I was charged an extra $75. Wtf is going on here? The rep even tried not to give me the receipt. The bad thing is they're all doing it. I overheard another rep saying the same thing to another customer. This is bad business and I thought I was being taken care of, but actually was taken advantage of. AT&T is a rip-off, there accounting practices are very poor and confusing, I was double charged back in September and was given different reasons for the reason. After finally being given a Refund and given a final balance due of $258.00 (which I paid) I was then billed for $338.00 more. For example, I asked them if they could help Me remove a service that I wasn't aware of and they referred me to a phone number I needed to call myself. Horrible! Stay Away! This is not even a true AT&T store! This is only an AUTHORIZED DEALER! (Aka third party). My brother came from out of town and needed a phone for 6 weeks, and these people made him pay $75 CASH and the line didn't even work! No one answered the phone ever! And when we called customer service they couldn't do much until we came back to the location. They told us that not $75 was loaded but only $25! But my brother left to Orange County to visit family so was shit out of luck for 24 hours until he can drive back to the store! Then the topping on the cake is that this authorized dealer only only credited $25 was credited and that he owed $40!!!! We get to the store today and they don't even see the customers in the order. First went to the AT&T on Avalon st, in Carson. Horrible customer service there, So I went to this one. I've been to this store before, when I used to live nearby. Anyway.... Immediately walking in, I was hesitant because I only saw one associate at the desk and saw several customers waiting. The associate CARLOS, welcomed me and my dad and assured us he'd take care of us as soon as he could. Well the wait wasn't long at all. I explained what I had just gone through at the Carson store. He was shocked and even told his manager about it. Well, in no time, Carlos took care of our cell phone bill. Afterward, he kindly helped me select a new iphone to upgrade to. He thoroughly explained how much everything would cost, he wrote it out and even went through the contract, page by page and list by list. Very specific so I'd understand well. Carlos also explained the AT$T app for the phone, and also offered this new reward card program. I honestly don't think he left anything out. Oh, any my account was even qualified for a free tablet (taxes and activation not included of course) too. All the crap I had experienced previously at the Carson store, had slowly faded away, after all the help I received at this store, by Carlos and the on-floor manager. They were both friedly, helpful, kind, and very good at their job. With associates like this, customers like me will remain faithful and will keep coming back.
