The representative that helped me was able to troubleshoot and fix the problem. She was patient and competent. What she did to fix the problem, I would not have figured out on my own. I had the most amazing experience today. Was having several phone issues. Arianna helped this senior (me) figure out why I was experiencing glitches. After explaining my issues, Arianna reviewed the problems I was experiencing and cleared up a bunch of messes (lol) and updated my phone, I thought was gonna have to buy a new phone. Avoid this place like the plague. They lie directly to your face and when you complain to AT&T, they take no responsibility because this is a franchised store, not a corporate one. My bill is twice as high as what the woman working at the store told me it would be, and they added two insurance plans without my consent. They also did not apply the phone credit that was advertised on flyers throughout the store. Now I know why some people were so upset when I was there signing up. Wasn't the best service. List of errors: 1. Submitted my name incorrectly even after correcting them. Had to call CS to correct it only to find out I have to wait 30days 2. Didn't port my number correctly (had to troubleshoot at home on why my number didn't get ported correctly) 3. This place is awful. The Manager, Manny, was rude to the older older gentleman in front of me who didn't know how to use his flip phone and then it was my turn... Manny first tried to tell me that 5Ge was the same as 5G but told him that I knew that it was ATT's fake 5G and that I also had that on my "non 5G" iPhone 11. So, lies. This store is completely incompetent when it comes to 5G and contradicted everything ATT tech support told me the night before. My iPhone 12 Pro won't show 5G and manager Manny tried to push all the blame to Apple and dismiss me. They swapped the SIM card which he wanted to charge me for and I said no way because it still doesn't work. He then said I needed a new phone because I bought it from Apple and not ATT. Hers is due for an upgrade per AT&T. but month later, her bill was double.. I purchased a popsocket packaged in the wrong packaging and paid $14.99 for a Rose Gold Popsocket when I should've been charged $10 for the solid black popsocket. When I called the store about my dilemma. They said it was out of there hands and that all popsockets in the store are $14.99. I questioned why the online price is $5 cheaper than what I paid. Only way to get that price was to return it to Harbor City and repurchase online. Total waste of my time. It'd be so much easier if AT&T would simply give me a price adjustment. SCAM ARTISTs and Snakes!!! I have been coming here for years with no issues. They have new management and are slamming and putting other products on people's receipt. They told me the act fee was $45 and its actually $30. Then they added a prepaid number to my receipt so I was charged an extra $75. Wtf is going on here? The rep even tried not to give me the receipt. The bad thing is they're all doing it. I overheard another rep saying the same thing to another customer. This is bad business and I thought I was being taken care of, but actually was taken advantage of. Based on my visit today i've made up my mind to never come here again. For as long as I was there not one person helped us or said hello if we ever need help. AT&T is a rip-off, there accounting practices are very poor and confusing, I was double charged back in September and was given different reasons for the reason. After finally being given a Refund and given a final balance due of $258.00 (which I paid) I was then billed for $338.00 more. Horrible! Stay Away! This is not even a true AT&T store! This is only an AUTHORIZED DEALER! (Aka third party). My brother came from out of town and needed a phone for 6 weeks, and these people made him pay $75 CASH and the line didn't even work! No one answered the phone ever! And when we called customer service they couldn't do much until we came back to the location. They told us that not $75 was loaded but only $25! But my brother left to Orange County to visit family so was shit out of luck for 24 hours until he can drive back to the store! Then the topping on the cake is that this authorized dealer only only credited $25 was credited and that he owed $40!!!! We get to the store today and they don't even see the customers in the order. This last experienced with this at&t store past Saturday has got to be the worse experienced I've ever had with a representative, name Brian. I knew once I saw his dirty nails he could not be trusted. But I put my nursing judgement aside and attempt to get a new phone with whatever deal he has to offer. He sold my boyfriend and I a new activation line and an upgrade as he offered the BOGO deal when I came in just for an upgrade. So I can applaud him for that! Yet, I came out with 6 accessories thinking he was giving me a good deal out of it by telling me he was giving me a discount on my plan/account by ringing up those accessories. The only thing we can do is take his word for it but once we left the store we felt as if we got ripped off paying "just for the tax" with 2 iPhones of $273. My boyfriend and I did our research and made phone calls, even the corporates were telling us to go back and get our money back because that was NOT the tax price for two phones. Therefore, I went back the next day and of course Brian attempted to re-explain his point of view why and whatnot on what he attempt to make me believe but at the end I got my $140 back which was the total price of those 6 accessories. "All stores are different" but Brian is making this store sound like they're just there to get the customers money. Brian may be getting the bonus out of it but that's not very nice for the customers who also works hard for that money. It doesn't end there, with MY past experience working at a retail store I check the phones that customers brings to me before any transactions as soon I get a hold of them, Brian failed to do so that Sunday I came back. At the end of that visit, I saw a CRACK screen back of my new phone. This was after him removing a screen protector that I returned (one of those 6 accessories). I was in shock and I've made it aware but of course he denies that he has nothing to do with it and offered to go through insurance. I was unsure whose at fault, so I decided to walk out. Today is Tuesday and from this day I've replayed a surveillance video from my work to check if I left with my phone damaged before going to AT&T that Sunday, the phone was fine. No damages. So that damage could've happened on the way there just by placing in aside on my passenger seat OR inside the store. From this day I still regret this whole experience. I've done my research and contemplated on going back to the store to possibly fight this or even ask to watch their surveillance camera for some peace of mind to this horrible experience but LET ME JUST END IT HERE. I do want to add that not all representatives there are like Brian. Some actually assist you with the phones like turning the new phones ON and walk you through the whole experience as they should but Brian was rushed to get his sale and walked us out as soon as he sold us with those accessories.
