    If I could give this place a zero I would the CS rep that goes by Star or Crystal R is horrible. She is a liar and things that she said is totally different from our bills. We had Directtv but she convinced us to switch to the new AT&T Tv digital cable box. Once we received our bills it was high. We called ATT on our bill and didnt match what she told us. She also never cancelled our directtv per her text that she confirmed she did. We tried to go to the store for her but she blew us off. Please DO NOT go thru her!!!

    I do not recommend this location. Staffs are not in a mood to work, to assist customers and very unhelpful!!! Worst experience ever!!!!

It is best to make an appointment just in case, but the wait here is less than ten minutes. We were here to get a new cable box since ours was over six years old and had stopped receiving service. Our service person, Olivia, was also able to reduce our overall service bill by a third of what we were paying. This was accomplished by adding a secondary e-sim to my phone, which added a second separate telephone number and line. I will read the fine print for this deal as it may be more costly. The second phone number is free for a year, but I will be charged $30 per month should I decide to keep the new phone line and number after the initial year. The new box worked great once we got home.

I came in to upgrade my phone and was assisted by Simon. The very first thing he said to me was not "Hi" or "How are you?" but instead "Let me ask you a question. Is your iPhone working fine? If it works fine, then what's the point of upgrading if the new one is coming out in 2.5 months anyway?". I immediately felt judged and uncomfortable. I explained that I personally didn't care about the next phone release and still wanted to upgrade. From there, the interaction only got worse. Simon barely spoke throughout the process and explained almost nothing to me. He charged my card without first explaining what the charges were, what the monthly payments would be, or reviewing any terms and conditions. I had to ask afterward just to understand what I had been charged for. He also transferred the eSIM to the new phone without informing me beforehand and did not assist with setting up the device at all. Instead, he handed me the phone after setting it up incorrectly. None of my backed-up data had transferred, meaning I now have to completely erase the phone and restart the setup process from scratch. When I asked for help, I was told I had to do it on my own. Every other time I've upgraded a phone at Spectrum, associates have always helped with setup and data transfer, so this was incredibly frustrating. As I'm writing this, I'm sitting in my car using my new phone's hotspot just to access basic information because my contacts, apps, and data are unavailable until I can get home and connect to Wi-Fi to redo the entire setup process myself. Side note- Simon repeatedly wiped his nose with his hands throughout the interaction and continued touching my new phone afterward, super uncomfortable. The other associate that was there who was a lady seemed very pleasant and friendly, I can imagine my experience wouldn't have been so abysmal if i was helped by her instead.

On the morning of the 15th, I texted my arrival time a few hours in advance, to which he never replied. I arrived at the shop with my laptop, and the employee working said there was no order for me, which was confusing because the owner had been so communicative. He said he would order the part and it would be there later that week and I agreed to come back. I got a text confirmation with my order number and everything. Fast forward a week and a half: silence. Nothing. I replied to the order confirmation text asking if it had arrived, and I don't know if it went through or not, but it's just weird they wouldn't have the part by now or some kind of update. I gave up, bought a kit on Amazon for $35, and installed it myself in 10 minutes. I don't know where this project fell apart, but if the shop didn't want to take it on, they could have declined it. I'm just confused by lack of follow-through because they have so many good reviews, and I thought I had done everything I could, both in person and online, to confirm I wanted the service.

This was the first time I went to uBreakiFix as a desperate last resort and they ordered a new mobo and replaced it within a couple of weeks with reasonable labor costs. However, there was poor communication the first time around and apparently the first guy thought that it would be acceptable to replace it with a GTX 2070 instead of the 2080 that it originally came with. Upon seeing a cheaper final price and promptly reading the receipt, I realized the mistake they made and asked them to order a 2080 instead, not minding how much longer it would take. They said that it would arrive in another couple of weeks and that I could just pay the $350 difference, no extra labor costs added. I was worried, but sure enough, they called me when it was ready and my $4000 laptop started up beautifully without a problem with a fresh installation of windows 11. They made it right and stayed true to their word, and I only had to pay the price difference. Thanks, uBreakiFix for not putting me through anymore headache.
