I got a new phone and also switched providers about 2 months ago. Something that was supposed to be easy to do (transfer old phone to new phone) became a difficult task that required assistance from my new provider AT&T. Mind you I also had been to another AT&T store the evening before while visiting my family and trying to resolve this issue, but I was given little help and was told to return the following day (guy was helpful but just swamped and was the only employee at his store in the San Fernando valley). I happen to live within walking distance from this store on Pine street in DTLB and decided to give it a chance. Brandon Emmons was the guy at this store that spent less than 30 minutes to actually make something and everything happen (there were more issues than I expected). I recommend this store for anyone needing help with their phone and or provider service. Oh and another plus, I was the only one there for a bit before they got busier but I still got my service. read more

Andres was the one who helped me, I really appreciate their help and patience. My phone took a little longer and then I also needed to charge my phone and use their WiFi so that definitely helped them allowing me to do that stuff. I appreciate how much value Andres puts into his customers service and into the value of the customer them selves. Exceptional Sales Consultants at this location "Wilbert" and the Manager "Juan" helped me tremendously picking out the right electronics for my business needs. I needed a major upgrade for my personal & Real Estate business. Based on my needs they recommended few electronics below: - iPhone 14 Terabyte- I will be able to film quality property tours and video for my clients and plenty of storage while filming -iPad: I can use to show properties online in real-time and use for my Open houses for sign-in sheet, access my CRM, play music at Open Houses etc. -Apple Watch: Personal use listen to music at the gym without having to carry my iPhone. I bought an wireless internet from this location about a month ago. Something happened to where it was set up wrong by the sales agent, and now I can't even pay the bill. I have been to 3 stores, and the rep today told me to go to another store, a corporate store. It can't be this hard to validate equipment that was bought from you. So I've been needing to update my iPhone and I've honestly quite been a little nervous about losing my previous plan which caused a bit of apprehension. This store location is quite close to where I live and I decided to come in here to find out what upgrade I could get that would be best and also have my great plan. Jessie and Orlando came through like champs today. Jessie brought up my plan/bill and consulted with Orlando about what he saw. Turns out I was paying too much for what I THOUGHT was a great plan. Amazing customer service ! The best I have ever received at any AT&T store. David and claudia both helped me and they both gave me the best support while helping everyone else that came in. The phone of the store is not working today so any questions I and any customers had they used their own personal phone to take care of our issues. AT&T is definitely doing something right in this store. Knowledgeable Employees! For some reason, the first AT&T location I visited could not figure out how to connect my Apple Watch to their network. I didn't have cellular service on my Apple Watch for a week, even though it was supposed to be connected to their network. I had to call and return to that specific location repeatedly without getting any solution to my problem, so I decided enough is enough. Today, I stopped by this location hoping they could solve the issue. Catherine helped me out and she was also able to fix the problem. I had a really good experience at this location! This is a long story with a very negative beginning that started at the Cerritos corporate AT&T store and had an unexpected positive ending with the Long Beach store. I'm going to keep the whining to a minimum and just say the Cerritos store was incompetent unable to accomplish the simplest tasks. Now for the positive, in my frustration I call the Long Beach corporate store and talked with the store manager Brenda explaining my experience at the Cerritos store and she was so helpful explaining what my options were and how to resolve the issues the Cerritos store found so difficult to help with. The next day I went to the Long Beach office and in less than an hour the issue was resolved with none of the drama i encountered at the Cerritos office. STOLEN TRADE INS! DO NOT TRADE IN PHONES HERE! I traded in 5 iPhone 13 Pro Max's at this location. I thought all went well since I physically turned my phone in. However they didn't give me a receipt since the store closed while we were there. They promised me a receipt the next day which I did receive ONE. 9 months later I call to find out how much is owed on my cellphone only to find out that there was no trade in. I called the store to find out what happened and they tell me that their trade ins have been stolen in route. I ask them to note that on my account since it isn't my fault that they were stolen after I turned them in and they tell me I need the IMEI to determine if mine was one of the stolen phones. I finally got them the IMEI and they have yet to get back to me regarding my stolen phone. With the IMEI ATT has been able to determine that the phone was sold and is now being used by a Cricket wireless user but can't see the sale since everything is done privately through this store. So PLEASE BEWARE! DO NOT HAND YOUR PHONE OVER TO THIS STORE! I'm out $1000 and all anyone can tell me is the store has to correct this. This store simply ignores me or is always too busy. read more

The co-worker environment seemed positive and the energy was good when I went in the store. Some other locations have grouchy workers but not here. I completed a pre-paid on line order for pickup from this store (515 Pine Ave, Long Beach, CA 90802). Upon arrival, the curbside check-in app failed and instructed me to contact the store reps. Upon entering the store, it took nearly 20 minutes to complete a simple pickup because the staff could not get the drivers license scanner to work and they had no manual override procedure to simply take my licenses ID. I am still not sure why they need to scan it in the first place. When they finally completed the transaction, I asked if the phone was activated and they said "yes, just power it on". I came home and found that the SIM was never associated with the line and had to call AT&T support to correct the situation. The telephone support rep could not believe the retail store forgot to handle this. If the store owner or management are reviewing these posts, please train your staff for the sake of other customers. Thank you. read more

Brenda works at this location on pine and was able to help provide me with the correct cords, but informed me in what to do as I'm not a tech savvy person. Great new store location where the old Radio Shack used to be. Sal was very helpful and had loads of information about service plans and deals. I really liked that fact that he immediately acknowledged us as soon as we walked in (most cellphone companies that I've been to have no customer service skills especially if they know you're not going to buy anything). We didn't make a purchase due to our existing plans already established, but we will be back when it's time to switch over to a knew carrier. read more
