Customer service has to be the worse at this store. I would give this store a zero based on my experience and how I've seen them treat their customers. I don't mind the wait as long as the rep is able to help me when it's my turn. However I've been in the store several times to collect a gift card I was suppose to get with the new service and they've continued to ignore or refuse to help me. When I signed up for the new service they told me it would come with the card but when they were done processing my payment they said their system was down and they couldnt give me the gift card. They assured me I should receive it within a few weeks in the mail and if I didn't I should go back into the store and they would be able to provide me with it. I've been to the store several times and called to follow up and they refuse to help me. During my visits to the store I've seen how they ignore customers and several of them going in to make complains get pushed away. I went in today to pay my bill and a nice gentleman by the name of Nestor greeted me, then took my payment for me. He told me about a 2 for 1 promotion they were having for the i watch. I recently purchased an Apple Watch and Chris helped me out. I have been coming to this AT&T store for a while now when I would purchase other items and this was by far the best experience I had. Although he didn't have the best customer service towards other rude customers I felt like his customer service was the best for me. I am a very indecisive person and he was dedicated on trying to get me to finally decide. I ended up going with the 40 mm Apple Watch and he was right it was only 2 mm bigger than the 38 and it will still look fine on my tiny wrist. Thank you for the great customer service ! To me, they've generally been pretty helpful here. But as some of the other reviews are saying, you may have to wait quite a while. I came in for accessories, figuring it's good timing since they were on sale. I found the items I was looking for quickly, had them in my hand. But you apparently still have to wait in queue for all those that are signing up for cell phone plans, just to pay for your cash items. Couldn't they have a cashier for those who just need to pay for something?What should've been a quick grab and go ended up costing me a good 20 minutes plus. I should mention though, that I wound up with more for my money then if I'd gone to a big retail store. So it was arguably worth my time. While I was there a young lady came in saying that the phone she just bought there just a few weeks ago had completely failed and wasn't working at all. She had to leave on a flight to Seattle later that night. The store couldn't do anything for her. They said she had to go to a warranty center which was currently closed. It disturbed me, but I don't necessarily blame the store personnel for it. Also, I found it troubling that when they finally charged me, they didn't voluntarily give me the clearly posted sale price. They charged me full price. I had to ask them specifically for the sale price. I guess they routinely ask for the full amount first, then if you complain they give you the sale price. Other than that, they actually were helpful and professional, as they've usually been here. I should also mention that I've had AT&T Cellular service since before they were AT&T, and even before they were Cingular, when it was called Pacific Bell. Although my service provider has changed hands, I have not changed carriers since the times when it first became commonplace to carry a cell phone. I should knock on wood, but I'm thankful for the service AT&T/Cingular/Pac Bell has provided. It seems I've avoided the problems that I've seen my friends having with most other companies. read more

Horrible store. I hadn't set foot in an AT&T store in years. I usually get my phones at a Costco kiosk. I stopped at this store on a Friday night. My phone screen went black while I was driving. I pulled into the shopping center. I tried charging it, shutting it off, nothing was working. I went in to ask if they could tell me how to restart my phone. The associate who "helped" me tells me they don't know how to reset or restart any cell phones. "We don't do that here." She tells me I'm ready for an upgrade and can be setup on a payment plan for a new phone. I told her that wasn't an option I asked if I could buy one of those basic non-smart phones and use my current SIM card. She says yes, but I need to pay for a new line, and there was a promotion! It was a waste of my time. I left, made it home, googled (on my computer) how to restart my specific phone. I did, my phone shut off and started up fine. Call me old, but there was a time many years ago when you could walk into an AT&T store and you were actually helped, not told to buy a brand new phone. Wow. Y'know, when you see several one star reviews, its hard to believe a place could be THAT bad, however, the AT&T store in Ontario lives up to its reputation. The two employees on the floor were courteous and helpful, as was the young lady who I had spoken to two days before. But the good ends there. So, I placed an order for a few items online and selected the pickup in store option and when I contacted the store, they informed me that they would not be able to fill my complete order, but only 25% of it, as they had no more in stock. Understanding that glitches in the system occur, I overlooked it, and agreed to take what I could. A few moments later, I was informed that none of my order would be able to be filled, because my item was sold to another customer. Great. So the young lady informs me that she'll call around to other stores and see what she can do for me. A couple hours later, I receive a call informing me that they will indeed be able to fill my order. Wonderful! A day later, I go to pickup my order, and after it was fished out of the backroom, the rep assisting me rang me up, giving me a total 33% more than I was told online. When I brought that to her attention, she went to ask her manager, Chang (that's what it sounded like she said), and came back to let me know that they could not honor the discount I had received online since the accessories were already discounted. Not wanting to make a scene, I paid, and got out. This place sucks, by no fault of the customer reps, but rather the management. read more

We tried returning it within 14 days and the representative at the store lied to my father and told him he could not. This store has done nothing to help fix the problem of own up to the shady business practices of their representatives. Ordered a phone online which stated " Available for store pick up today". I wanted about 2 hours and received no confirmation email. I called the store questioning weather or not I had to wait for that email, which the representative stated " yes but we are currently busy with many customers, it'll be ready when it's ready". I waited 2 days for that email but to no avail. I was fed up so I called the third day which another representative replied they had it and was ready for pick up. Even though I had no issues at the store when I arrived to pick up my order. I never had a bad experience with the 6 years I've been with at&t, this is the first store I've had trouble with. This is saying a lot because I lived in LA and San Diego which had crowds of people and not once did I have a problem with service. I didn't think to check the case until I got home, and turns out it had a gash in it, right out of the factory sealed box. I was dreading the drive all the way back to Riverside to do the exchange, until on my way home from work in Ontario, I noticed this AT&T store. I stopped in fully expecting them to quickly send me back to the Riverside store. I was totally wrong. Kyle exchanged the case out for me, with approval from his coworker Apple, without question. One of those places that I hope burns to the ground. All of the previous reviews are TRUE- they take 30 minutes to call ONE person, worse than the flipping DMV. Meanwhile I look around at the workers and they're either sitting in a table having personal conversation for hours or eating McDonalds. Then there's a group of 3 female representatives sitting in one table doing nothing. Crazy, I thought that such a large company as ATT would have more professionalism LOL. They tried bringing the phone in the back and came back to us with still no service and you know what they offer? They wrote down an address to an Apple store nearby and a phone number for us to call. Really?! Are you freakin serious? Anyway, did went to an Apple store and they run full diagnostic and they found ZERO error. The phone is in great working condition. The employees at these location just didnt want to work. So now AT&T Ontario, you need new employees as what you have right now are total imbecile. And i found out that AT&T advisor can call Apple to run a dignostic before they send customer out the door. I just stopped by this location to ask a quick question for my iPad. I walked in at 4pm and made eye contact with one person as she helped the guy that walked in just before me. I walked around the store a little then sat down at the table. As I wait at a table for service I notice a sales lady walk onto the sales floor (the table I'm sitting at is directly in front of that door) I made eye contact and smiled as she walked by and asked other people if they were being helped, after learning someone else has assisted them she helps a customer who just walks in. Although I made eye contact with associates I'm sure other guests would not feel happy with being in a store without any service in a store based on customer service I left just before 4:15pm with not a word said to me. read more

I'm sitting here patiently waiting my turn...I see a guy walk in and check in way after I've already checked in. One of the reps go over to talk to this man after he's done assisting another customer. The rep then proceeds to call of names of those of us who checked in. I hear him call the name Rosa....no answer. Then he approaches me and ask of I've checked in...I tell him yes and give him my name. He then tells me they yes he sees that I have checked in and instead of assisting me he then calls the name Allen who is the guy who checked in after me that he briefly spoke to previously. I refuse to make a public fuss about it...but I'm really pissed off. Instead, I will be reporting this to their corporate office...I've been waiting here for almost an hour. The associate (Aurie) who helped me was great, the managers sucked. I was having trouble with the trade-in reward card I received, and the managers just stood there, they were no help at all. Aurie called their customer service and didn't give up until my issue was resolved. The Female manager was so unprofessional and the Male manager was useless. I'm from Washington State, traveling in So. Cal. right now, and I decided to stop in here to check out the current plans being offered right now. I've been with AT&T for years but I like to keep up on whatever specials are going on, as well as have someone check out my usage and see if there's something that'll work better for me. After a very short wait (maybe 5 minutes?), I was helped by Ryan and help me he did. He's knowledgeable, personable, friendly and went through my plan for me, explaining what changing it would do and helping me decide whether or not it would be a good idea for me to make changes. Turns out that what I currently have is the best thing out there for me so I left without changing a thing, but not before I got a couple of recommendations for nearby restaurants. Now that's what I call a full-service place! Thank you for having employees such as Ryan - he's a keeper! In fact, I think he needs a raise :D read more
