Warning! DO NOT SWITCH FROM VERIZON!! I'm so sorry I did. Daniel from AT&T actually told me to go back to Verizon if I was unhappy. He was the only person in the store and I don't think he was knowledgeable. There were 5 other unhappy customers there! When he finally got to me he simply told me to buy more space. What a copout! There was a snowbird with children in the car whose GPS stopped working. She was flustered and didn't know where to go. He told her to go to the Apple Store (he didn't know how to help and didn't want to). She asked where it was and he told her the street. She asked for an address and directions and he refused to help at all actually saying "I'm not going to do that." Another customer ended up helping her. And why do they only have one person in the store most of the time? Verizon had 4-5 helpers because they care about customer service. I'm coming from Verizon and I'm so sorry I switched. Judging from the previous reviews of this store and their employee Daniel, I am not surprised that I had a similarly horrific experience at this store, and I blame myself for not doing this research beforehand. Our situation got so bad that Daniel told my husband and I "let's take it outside homie" and we were told to go out in the 100 degree weather where who knows what his plan was for us. A horrible experience upgrading to a new iPhone. Am escalating to AT&T with copy to ADA. Disrespected as a 30 yr AT&T customer and a disabled person. This was the employee. His name tag says Daniel but a receipt he rung up had Bryan L as cashier name. He deleted this photo in the data transfer process but didnt realize that I know that deleted iPhoto images can be recovered in 30 days. Went in to upgrade my device. Employee grabbed the wrong model of phone and never verified it was correct with me before processing the upgrade and opening the device. Despite it not being my fault the wrong device was grabbed I had to pay a $50 restock fee since he opened the phone. Also beware this ATT is privately owned and not a corporate location. Manager is never around to help escalate things. I will not be returning to this location. read more

This was not a good experience. They misled me with I could do when I purchased my phone. They blamed it on inexperience. they said I could return it. I went back there three times in one day. At the end of the day when I tried to return it there were some errors. When he called the corporate he was very rude to them impatient. They have anger issues. Go somewhere else. read more

I see this store hasn't been reviewed in quite awhile. Just thought I'd let everyone know a one star rating is still appropriate. My Mom passed away a month ago and I went in to cancel her account. They only had one rep working and two people ahead of me. I could hear voices in the back - turns out they belonged to the manager and district manager. After about 20 minutes I was asked what I needed. I told the rep I needed to cancel an account because my mom had died. She said they couldn't handle that there. I explained I didn't have her pin so the website said I'd have to visit a store to present the death certificate. She said she'd check, then came back and said she'd help if I could wait. After another 20 minutes a manager finally came out, entered the death certificate information, and told me to call the call center to cancel. In all the time I was there no one once said sorry for the wait, or sorry for your loss. This goes beyond customer service training- it's just common courtesy. And what kind of manager stays in the back while customers are waiting? Wow. The call center did cancel the account, and the lady was very sympathetic regarding the reason. Either that's in the call center script or people are just more decent in countries that supply call centers. They sure couldn't care less in the stores. read more

Gal put on my new $50 dollar iPhone screen protector off center (it's not 2005 and there are now machines for this) and the 1k back on an iPhone 13 Pro is split up into about 10 years of shaving off dollars on each bill. Working with this specific AT&T location has been a nightmare. I went into the store to purchase a new phone. During the process, I was told that I should upgrade my phone plan for better coverage. I was told there was a special being offered and I could have 2 Apple Watches for free. I was VERY clear that I did not need/want watches but the gentleman assured me they were free, so I took them. He also told me I should get the insurance coverage for all of the phones on my plane, which I did. He told me that my bill might not make sense at first, but it would eventually work itself out. Hindsight, so many red flags. I got my first bill and found out that I was being charged for 2 insurance plans, 1 Apple watch, and 2 new phone lines. Customer Service on the phone could only help me with the insurance issue, which they did, but said I would have to work with the store directly to fix the watch/cellular line issue. Needless to say, this has been going on for a few weeks because no one will help me and the District Manager for this location, still has not returned my many messages. I came here to get a micro sim for my iPad mini. That's all, nothing more. It turned into acting like I'm signing up for service, needing info etc. I guess that's needed but all I need to do is throw it into my iPad, enter credit card info and select 2gb monthly, done. Nothin else is really needed, it's how I did it the last two times with iPads in the past with apple. It took 15-20 mins. Update: found out instead of using a tablet sim which is free for the sim, he used a 25 buck go phone sim which is 25 for 2gb and its thrown away. Felix was of no help. read more

I had to wait a little bit upon arrival, but Samantha provided some of the best customer service I've ever had. She was very knowledgeable, friendly, and clear and efficient with her communication. She went through all possible possible plan options and made it easy for me to understand which one would work best in my situation. Side note: AT&T's network speed is considerably faster than Verizon's. I've tested both and it isn't close. Very happy to be done with Verizon and back with AT&T. read more

There was only one person working, a younger girl with glasses, who did not even acknowledge I was there when I walked in. I quietly sat down at the table to wait and after about 20min of me waiting, she HAD to walk by me to get something from one of the drawers and finally said "I'll be with you in a little bit." Instead, go to the store off Scottsdale Blvd. only 8 minutes away.... they are the real deal. At the Scottsdale Blvd. store, I was greeted immediately and was in and out in 20 minutes. This is the second time I've had problems with this location. I have been waiting here for 30 minutes, only one person is working, the person working didn't even acknowledge me when I came in which is rude. Then finally after I've been here 30 minutes he tells me that it's going to be another 20-30 minute wait. I get they might have other things going on while helping other people but at least acknowledge someone and tell them how long the wait will be before they wait around forever for help. read more
