Review #685 2026-051 I'm backtracking my review count to align with Yelp's count because the original #685 was for HRB that "it was removed due to the review & photos posted appears to depict a YEE" (this was weird because my next visit was 6 months after the YEE). Once this review is posted, my count is now aligned with Yelp's finally! A short review... yeah, this is considered short by my standards. I worked for a company that uses AT&T for their carrier & typically go to the Carson St. location (refer to Review #706), now closed, for their service needs. I stop by enough that I know most of the service technicians by name. This store is located on busy Crenshaw Blvd. across Torrance Crossroads, & is slightly larger. I had lunch takeout nearby & thought I could make this quick to turn in my manager's new iPhone (she mistakenly believed the camera lens cracked on her old iPhone but it was the case that had the crack, not the lens). Due to mailing trade-in issues previously, I handle my manager's AT&T issues in-store. I had a hard time with Blanca looking up V's info to submit the return, & wasted 30-mins. waiting for her to tell me that. Not only wasting my time, my lunch takeout has been sitting for 20+ mins. Aaugh... ＼(｀0´)／ I think their service plan prices are on the higher side & their AT&T Protect Advantage for 4 program takes advantage of the customer instead of being an advantage for the company; had issues making claims for damaged iPhones that requires a non-refundable deductible. Then what's the point of the monthly expense at $540/year? That's a new iPhone every 2 years, & the company has been paying for this service for 10+ years. Yikes! I'm not an AT&T customer & don't intend to be especially after this. read more

Came here on xmas eve for emergency, because my old galaxy flip 5 decided not to work. I wasn't expecting to get a new phone, but one employee here told me that he had a similar problem.. but, I didn't have insurance... Buddy, told me I can add insurance but I would have to wait 30days.. and I told him that, look at my phone; I'm at 60% and I won't last for 30days. My phone was not functioning that well and was due for an upgrade so Berenice & Karina were able to help out on what options were best for me. They were very professional and didn't have to wait so long to be helped. I ended up getting the newest iPhone and was able to get a sweet promotion of $ off my new purchase when I turned in my phone to the store for store credit. Loved the idea. I was able to get a nice case as well to protect my phone as well they had a lot of nice options and love the one I got. I was able to take no tbh phones home the same day and transfer everything to my new one then turn in the phone into them for the credit. It was so easy and appreciate all they did. They didn't try and sell you things you didn't need but just what I wanted and that was it. I needed to port a number to my account and for some reason, this is a very very hard thing to do because of fraud prevention, I got flagged and tried a few times on the phone and online, to no avail. So I had to go in person to do this. I was expecting a nightmare wait time and lots of hassle, but Karina was very patient and got the flag removed and had everything ready to port over. This was the best service I ever received from an AT&T store, primarily because the wait time was short. The next day I had to stop in once more to complete the process and once again, the wait time was reasonable and mission accomplished! Hopefully future experiences will be this positive! read more

Needed to upgrade our phones that we have been using for a while. Emily was fantastic and highly recommended! The store was clean and the wait wasn't too long on a Saturday afternoon. We were greeted by a friendly security guard ( I didn't get her name), but she was so sweet. I truly appreciated the customer service that Emily provided. We live in El Segundo and actually came to this Torrance location and so glad we did. We have had a really bad experience at the Manhattan Beach AT&T and so glad we came here instead. read more

Expect extremely long waits. I asked one of the employees there to just check if they have the phone I wanted to get in stock and she said she'll look in a not so pleasant way but never got back to me. The only positive in the store was the extremely kind female security guard working that day. I wish I would have got her name so I could have mentioned her here. Wow was just lied to by a rep saying they can't do a service in store....accept I just called my normal store and am heading over there cause they can do it in store. Guess if you are not buy a phone they don't give a crap and will lie to you so they don't have to help. No wonder this location has the worst reviews out of all the att stores. Rude manager from the get go. Did not help me solve my problem, spent at least 20 minutes scrolling through her system just to tell me I did not purchase a camera/screen protector (which I was 100% positive I did). When I asked her to print out all of my receipts she magically found it and then went and hid in the back. People just walked in who had a 5:30 appointment but the AT&T office where they were was 'short staffed, so these people had to come over here, even tho they had an appointment. Wow! Update: beware of scams They sneaked in additional 25 dollars monthly plan we did not agree on when we bought our cellphones. First month we didn't know because there are so many charges for the phone purchase. But, we noticed the scam on the 2nd month. This is far worse than the very rude unprofessional manager that we have encountered when buying the cellphones. As previously stated, the store has exceptionally bad service. They don't know what they are doing and telling us to activate the phone at home without showing us the instructions which I requested the instructions. And they failed to mention that, one we walked out of the door, they will charge us money for phone activation. And they acted like we are at fault for something they failed to explain. Evidently, they conveniently failed to mention the random service plan and tricked us to sign it. The place is a scam. Beware. read more

If I could give no stars, I would. I went to get a phone just to come across some of the worst customer service I've experienced in a long time. I'm not one to complain easily and choose to give people the benefit of the doubt, but wow. Sales rep, Aris, was rude and unbelievably condescending. We asked simple questions and confirmations just to be spoken to as if we were inconveniencing him. Condescension is so cutting-edge, it should come with a warning label: 'May cause eye-rolling and an uncontrollable urge to switch providers.' In the store today because ATT had sent me two phones by mistake, needed to return one. The man helping me said they couldn't take the return because I bought the phone online. Very strange how I can't return an ATT phone at an ATT store??? I called ATT and it turns out you can return at an ATT store, apparently they just didn't want to waste their time since I wasn't buying anything. Been ATT customer for over 15 years with 4 lines. Scam/fraudulent promises. Went in to purchase a phone in November. ended up being given two "free" apple watches. Salesperson Erik and Manager Jose promised they were absolutely free. One was free but with an ongoing phone line charge, the other was not free along with an ongoing phone line charge. Also, they added an additional phone line (no idea why), additional monthly charges for warranty and something called "next". All without our approval or knowledge. When asked to correct it, the manager, Jose, said he would do so and credited us some minor portion of the money to be refunded. He promised to contact his supervisor for approval for the remainder of the refund due. After that, he refused to answer my texts and calls to his direct cellphone line. They are underhanded and deceitful. Do not do business with them. read more

So after 14 years I finally decided to ditch Verizon and switch to AT&T. I was also ready for a new phone. 2 1/2 years ago i made the "smart" decision to get a 16gb iPhone 6... What was I thinking?? And then now, i felt like I couldn't use the iPhone like an iPhone cause I kept running out of memory. I had one app: Instagram. Couldn't hold 2. lol. So I come in ready to get the 256gb iPhone 8 and womp womp! They are sold out everywhere. Decided to come in a month later to check and finally!! they have iPhone 8's in stock! Was helped by Carina to purchase the phone and move account/number to AT&T. It was definitely easier than expected. It took about an hour but I now have an 256gb iPhone 8 with unlimited data and HBO. But yeah. I get the whole wait list thing can be kind of confusing. Cause I saw the list on the TV screen. But I didn't know where to sign my name. and with everyone busy, it did take awhile for my name to get put on the list. Will I be back? Probably in a few years when my iPhone 8 starts to slow down and its time to get the iPhone 12 or 13 or something. lol read more

Waste of time. I told them explicitly why I came and what I wanted to do in order to be able to buy a new devic3. They didn't have the item and could order for me. I waited over an hour for them to call me but as soon as they looked into my account. They told me to call customer service. They are a corporate store they should be able to help me in store/if not call customer service on my behalf. I called customer service and they got me straighten out with my new device less than 30 mins. Don't waste your time. I have been a loyal customer not only to ATT, but also to this store, since it opened as ATT. My last visit will be my last. I had put off getting a new phone for a bit, as I was struggling with the prices of phones. When I went in, I had a new associate, who was training, tell me I would receive $350 for my trade-in, yet when I took it back after wiping the phone, I was told $50. Also, I asked for the protective screen cover to be redone, as there was a huge bubble that would not go away on a $1300 phone, when the trainee put in on. This is where my experience got to the point of no return. Mirisa, the store manager, was rude and insisting I pay for the cover to be redone, even though the trainee in her store did not put it on correctly. More about Mirisa. Both times I went into the store, she was sitting done socially with her younger staff, instead of actually working. She was dressed both times in jeans and a tshirt. She looked nothing like someone working for ATT, representing the company, and especially not a store manager. Hopefully, ATT will take a look at this unprofessional manager and store. I came into this store to request assistance activating the e-SIM of my Work Verizon iPhone SE for use with my AT&T Personal Number. I worked with Justin Quarterman, and he was extremely patient and diligent. He didn't give up easily when it wouldn't work. He kept researching and researching until he found a solution, which unfortunately requires some coordination with Verizon switching to e-SIM and using a physical SIM for my AT&T number. Even though I couldn't activate my number on this iPhone, I was extreme impressed with Justin's tenacity and excellent customer service. If need a new AT&T phone or have an issue with your existing service, I would ask for Justin Quarterman straightaway. I I doubt that you will find a more customer- focused individual. Actually, the last time I had to get an e-SIM activated at the AT&T Store near Best Buy, they charged me $5 for just scanning a QR Code. Despite the time he had to spend with me, I was not charged a penny. Thank you Justin! I wish you more success in your career, wherever it takes you I know you will be successful. read more
