I recently called At House to check my tankless hot water heater that was mounted on the exterior of my garage. This was on a day that we had very heavy rain interspersed with light rain. A technician showed up right on time, even though it was raining, opened up the cabinet, and asked me to come out and take a look. The whole interior was soaked from the rain and he suggested that I replace the heater since it would almost cost as much to fix this old one. I should add that the technician was very polite and respectful even though it was raining heavily while all of this was going on. He quoted me a price to replace the heater and I agreed. Shortly, he came back and proceeded with the heater replacement. Subsequently, the tech asked me to come out and take look. Hiro,the owner of At House, was there. The plumbing was completed and was substantially better than what had been there. It had additional valves so that the unit could be flushed periodically in order to remove hard water build up and they had also installed insulation on the piping. They suggested relocating the electric supply so that it would not need the long wiring that it had. I agreed and they installed an electric supple on the outside wall and near the water heater. All of this extra work was done while it had continued to rain off and on and every time they talked to me they were very pleasant and courteous. When it was finished it was masterfully done and THE FINAL PRICE INCLUDING THE EXTRA WORK AND MATERIALS WAS THE SAME, as the original quote. How often does that happen? read more

Hiro and Kevin are the best! Whoever installed our tankless water heater did a horrible job 2+ years ago and now they are no longer servicing our area. Eventually, their poor installation came back to haunt us. I found At House online, they diagnosed the problem, we had the gas company out to confirm, and Hiro and Kevin got the job done. At House did an exceptional job installing two Tankless water heaters at my home in North Orange County a few weeks back. The installation, design, and execution was beautiful and flawless. Hiro (President) provided almost immediate response response as one of two of our older water heaters had failed. Hiro and Makito did everything precisely as promised, on time, and to the penny consistent with estimates which I believe were quite reasonable. These were comprehensive tankless nstallation's including, of course, natural gas, copper plumbing input and output, multiple shutoff valves with threaded tap outs to support easy future de-scaling service that even the home owner could do if desired, and ventilation input and output. However, they also went extra mile and installed waste drain plumbed to ABS trap below nearby laundry sink, but through a wall. Some installers will take easier route and add a Neutralizer filter and route drain to outside thereby requiring a consumable nuetralizer filter at recurring expense and trouble. Drain mentioned, is in addition to standard exterior relief drain plumbed to PRV valve. Highly recommend At House, and I usually do not write reviews. When was the last time a company or service exceeded your expectations? For me, almost never and as an engineer I am a bit of a perfectionist. Great, growing company, that we will call next time we have a plumbing job at our home. In fact we confirmed with Hiro that they provide all plumbing services such as whole house re-plumb (hoping not to need), whole house water filtration, and apparently even HVAC services. read more
