For late night food it's like a 4, after a long night I didn't really care what I ate as long as I got something quick. When other options are available and drinking hasn't been factored in, the food is pretty bad. It's just bad quality, greasy, and somehow tasteless. I ordered chips and guac to go... for $7. A little bit of runny, puréed avocado over chips. That's not guac. They told me, "that's how we make it" when I told them this is not guac and chips, guac should be a side you dip chips into. Only salt, no other flavor to the avocado. Chips were fresh, though! 9.28.24: Last night stop after a music concert and before making the hour drive home. First time here and went simple and ordered 2 "special" carne asada tacos ala carte with a slice of flan for a sweet treat. The carne asada tacos were pretty big and loaded with plenty of meat. What makes it "special," is they add salsa, pico, and guac. To be honest, I bet the regular carne asada tacos are just as good. Tacos tasted good and not overly seasoned and can't complain about the portion size either. If anything, I could have used a couple extra limes. The flan was decent and the taste was what is expected from a flan--a caramel sauce custard. Texture was nice and firm, not mushy. Late night drive-thru window was open and service was fairly quick. Overall, Atilano's hit the spot for late night munchies. I do plan to return and try other menu items. read more

I flew into Spokane, asked the counter rep if he heard of Atilanos and he said "yes"! My friend asked me to go. Upon local Yelp search realized the many locations. The order? Breakfast burritos. These were fantastic burritos. Make sure you get the red and green sauce. I didn't see the inside only drive through. The one I went to was north of 90 off 3rd. While the reviews are mixed I was extremely happy with our burritos. I bought enough for me and my friends. I would visit again, my favorite was the bacon breakfast burrito. read more

I have had tacos all over Mexico, including Michelin star restaurants and what has been called "the best taco ever made" and all across the country from San Diego to Texas to NYC. I have to say in all seriousness that Atilano's crispy shredded beef tacos are the best I've ever had. The crisp tortilla shells are fried in house, not Taco Bell style and really made the tacos. The shredded beef was plentiful had a mild flavor and was plentiful. My tacos were topped with fresh lettuce and shredded cheese in just the right proportion to add some freshness to the beefy tacos. All in all, it was as close to the perfect taco I've ever had. I only go on Taco Tuesday ,so, my 4 tacos came in at over $4.00 which was small, small price to pay for these hidden gems. My only complaint is the sauces, which are kind of meh but did the job. Judging by many of the other reviews, other items aren't that great ,but, if you stick to the crispy shredded beef tacos (NOT the ground beef, not nearly as good) you can't go wrong. The primary reason tried this place three different times is because it is a close drive and the food isn't the worst thing out there (the food is not memorable by any means). It truly seems whoever is cooking in the back just whips up whatever they feel like. Granted my orders are not small having a family of 5. However, not getting a single thing right.. really? The first time we didn't check the food but did the second and third time. Unfortunately, the times they were correcting our orders the 2nd and 3rd trip it also came out wrong so we gave up and just took the food. To also add a little context we are not picky so nothing is customized and just ordering things off the menu as is. The energy/vibes of the place itself are also not so good. Unhappy. Did not get what I ordered. I even repeated back my order to make sure person at register for it correct. I paid and I closed a tip. But when I looked at receipt, it was clear the order was wrong, so I again asked if she got my order correct...she said yes. When it arrived,it was wrong...I did not take it to my table,and again asked if the offer was correct and she said it was my fault for ordering wrong. What?! So I did not get what I wanted. Another San Diego transplant here who loves good Mexican food. Tried the carne asada burrito and cheese enchiladas . The burrito was pretty dang good. Tasty meat and salsa , and even the hot sauce was good with a nice kick. Enchilada sauce was very tasty as well. Came they drive thru at about 1am. I was so happy they were open and I couldn't understand why their line was short. Taco Bell and Jack n the Box drive thrus were so long. But the food here was immensely better. My hubby loved the carne Asada fries. It came with pico, guac, beans and plenty of meat cheese and onions. Delicious and a very very heart portion. I got a breakfast burrito and a couple street tacos. I think it's super versatile of them to have breakfast available at night. Both were greasy, filling, satisfying and tasty. I wasn't able to finish the burrito but I think it will taste great in my air fryer tomorrow. Overall this should be your number 1 choice for a 4th meal! It was good but my partner got the atilanos burrito and god I'd have to say that one was way more delicious.
