I'm updating my review since I have eaten inside recently. It was a Monday and my family and I went for dinner. We paid 15.99 per person. Although they have a big selection of food the restaurant looks old and dingy for it to be a renovated space and the bathrooms are nasty. Although my family commented on them having the best tasting food they've had at a buffet, they also asked that we never go there again because of the lack of cleanliness.

I came here after work with my boyfriend on a Thursday evening. I found this place on TikTok so it was a tad busy. We got seated quickly and our server was nice and attentive. I wanted the crab legs but they didn't have available this day. The food was good but my boyfriend and I got full really fast like strangely fast.

Updating my original review. They really do need to update the cashier station / payment process. It is ALWAYS crowded with people and the cashier can never keep up with who's next. Today, it took forever for the cashier to weigh and let me pay for my food because there was a couple with their daughter who didn't have enough money to pay, and the boyfriend went to his girlfriend's car to look for some cash she told him he could find there. They thought their daughter could eat free as part of the free birthday meal policy so they'd only brought enough money for 2 meals. But the handwritten sign at the desk said the only way to get the free birthday meal is with a ticket / party of 4 paid-for meals. The boyfriend took FOREVER to return from the car with the additional money and the cashier just let me stand there waiting instead of voiding their order out and ringing me up. By the time the bf made it back from the car, there was another customer standing behind me waiting to pay for her take-out food too AND a large party of more than 5 adults with kids waiting to pay so they could dine in. It was pretty frustrating to be standing there wasting my lunch hour like that while my food, which wasn't the hottest to begin with, was getting cold. There also appears to be some sort of issue with their phones. I tried calling the other day and it said number could not be completed as dialed. Tried it again today - same thing. I wanted to ask if they had a specific item on the menu before I drove over because it's not an every day item. I also wish they would label the offerings. For some items, it's easy to determine what you're looking at (chicken and broccoli, crab legs, etc). But for other items - you have no idea what you're looking at. Is that a chicken and cheese quesadilla? Or is that just a cheese quesadilla? I know that's salmon. But what's the mystery topping on the salmon? Is that orange chicken or sweet & sour chicken? Is this ground pork? Or ground beef? There are things that I've not tried simply because I had no idea what it was and I didn't want to waste money (they weigh your tray for take-out orders) by getting something I didn't love. I also have a few food allergies - so I like to know that I'm not about risk an itchy, hive-covered night for a bite of mystery meat. Food / Taste I've discovered that depending on the time of day, you might get old, dried out food. It's happened to me twice now. Don't get me wrong - you can look at the food and absolutely tell whether or not it's dried out, but on the occasions where I just 'bit the bullet' and got it anyway, it's because a) I didn't have the time to go someplace else and b) I didn't have the time to cook before my next meeting. Also - I finally tried the fish. One associate told me it was 'white fish.' Another told me he thought it was whiting. He asked the associate next to him and she said she thought it was tilapia. I'm not a farmed fish snob. I've had some tasty tilapia in my day. My only requirement is that it be mild fish (ie whiting, flounder, tilapia, grouper, red snapper). But the one mild fish that I absolutely cannot stand is SWAI. It's just so mushy and bland. If I'm gonna go this mild I'd rather eat cod or Alaskan pollock. The fish on this buffet is absolutely swai. And if they're being told it's whiting, their vendor is lying to them. I grew up in a fishing town where fish and shrimp were cheaper than ground beef or chicken. And I can safely say there is no way this is whiting. Price / Value The value remains the same. You can dine in from 11am - 4pm for $7.99. This lunch special means the place is FULL of people STUFFING themselves with crab legs. Lol. Overall Overall, I'll go back, but I'll be sure to hit them up when they first open at 11am to try to beat the crowds - and to make sure my food is fresh (instead of dried out) and hot.

The hot wings are good and so is the corn!

Good food. Clean. Lots of options and the buffet is always topped off with fresh food. Our waiter was a very nice guy too. Lots of Sushi options, freshly made right in front of you.

The food was spectacular! Everything there was juicy and fresh! Love the many selections and I can't believe they have so many seafood options! I always love a buffet with crab legs, crawfish, shrimp, calamari, and fish! They have so many sushi options and love the hibachi there. The fruits are so fresh and they have a lot of dessert and ice cream options! Price reflects the quality of the food so love that it's still affordable and that you get delicious food! Took my Australian friend here and he now wishes he could go back here. I will definitely be coming here frequently.

Only reason they didn't receive 5 stars, I think they could of had a little bigger selection for option for hibachi.

We got the sushi and sashimi lunch and a bento box which was enough for 2 adults and a hungry toddler Each lunch comes with soup or salad & both were delicious. They have a mayo-y ginger dressing similar to yum yum sauce. I prefer vinegar based but it was good! The nigiri had a little flair which I love! And everything was so fresh and soft pieces of fish. Very good quality for this price point! Sashimi had some nice cuts & generous pieces & plate presentation was Instagram ready The bento came with California roll, yakitori stick, tons of veggies, fried rice (+$1 but worth), huge portion of meat of choice, and shumai (or gyoza). This is big enough for 2 small eaters or one big eater. Everything was delicious and we were checked on often Their high chairs are clean & staff were pleasant with the toddler They have specials listed at the front door in tiny font I couldn't read from far away & they also sell jewelry it seems I didn't get a pic of the entire menu because it was multiple books and I didn't realize it We'd definitely come back! Each plate will have three pieces of a roll or two pieces of nigiri, so you can experiment. My favorite is probably the phoenix roll. We also like the factory roll, and my friends all love the Dynamite roll (I just like it). You can also order off the touchscreen menu if you want something that isn't on the carousel - my friend always gets a bagel roll, and another friend often gets ramen (the shoyu is delicious!). Those come out on their own track in a little express train! So cute. The service is great too. Never had a bad experience. They check in, but don't hover bc there's a call button on your touch screen and they are always quickly responsive to it. They have some lovely adult beverages too. We always get warm sake and Sapporo beer, but sometimes my friends get the plum wine or these GLORIOUS fruity (peach?) cold sake cocktails. Seriously, find what I'm talking about in the menu and get one. Yummy! When you're done, they just count your plates and calculate your bill. We really love this place and go there often.

I love that they are small portions so that you can try a variety of the rolls. There is also a menu on the iPad at your table that you can use to order. If you order from the iPad, it comes on the top revolving belt in these cute little, smiling, spaceship-like containers that stop and open at your seat. If you ever need help, you can click on the service button on the iPad. We ordered edamma as our starter and it came iin the smiley train. I had some unfilted sake and water with lemon. The first sushi plate I grabbed was salmon nigiri, and it was very tasty and fresh. My nephew grabbed a salmon nigiri and a California roll. He probably ate three salmon nigiri and three orders of California roll. I also grabbed a salmon, avocado, and cream cheese roll, a spicy yellowtail, and ordered a spicy kanji as they stopped revolving. It's fun while my brother got the tiger and super roll, along with a few other things, for dessert w got chocolate and strawberry mochi. It was lots of fun and good. I will definitely be back.

I liked the idea of only having a few pieces so that you don't get full quick on one type of sushi roll and can try several others. All tasted great and were made fresh. I was on a diet but all of my friends tried the fried ice cream and fried cheese cake. They enjoyed both. I tried one of my friend's fried ice cream and really enjoyed it. The batter reminded me of funnel cake and ice cream was vanilla. My other friend who was there with his 2 sons had the chocolate version. They enjoyed theres as well. Service could be a bit better. We had to chase down the waiter for simple things like water and silverware. We struggled figuring out how to pay for our food and had to flag down someone to assist with that also. The dining hall is pretty casual but overall a cool unique sushi spot.

They asked for a specific chef. The chef comes and sees them and tells them welcome back, then proceeds to start doing excessive customizations to their orders. Which is fine, but then he shorts the other half of the table. The family of five were all given triple rice while the other half of the table were given one serving of rice even though two of us ordered double. The family of 5 were treated like kings. The rest of us, what food we did get was overcooked, under seasoned, and barely portioned, except for veggies which we got more of because the family of 5 didn't want them. However it just.....felt very unfortunate to pay so much money only to leave with barely any food and without having received all we paid for, I won't be coming back again. Customer retention is important but it's nice to extend that attitude to new customers as well. I did call and speak to the manager to see if we were overcharged. He said no and I was going to let it go. Originally I wasn't going to write a review, but after we found the receipt and seeing we WERE charged for food we did not receive? It's just poor customer service. In this economy I can't justify coming back or trying again.
