Pedro cleaned the dryer exhaust and replaced the exhaust booster fan for us. I really appreciated that he was flexible in his thinking and recognized that the cleaning could be done from the attic. Other companies in their price estimates insisted on needing to move our stacked washer and dryer and having to charge us extra for that. Pedro gave a solid and reasonable estimate from the start. He didn't ask about the dryer situation at all, and later explained to me that he wouldn't charge extra just to move the stacked system. Some companies told me that they can't replace a booster fan, while others were going to charge quite a bit for doing it. Pedro handled the replacement easily and without overcharging us. Pablo is the owner of the business and I dealt with him directly. I found him on Yelp...he had great reviews so I scheduled him to come inspect my crawlspace for potential mold remediation work that I needed done. To be clear I did an extensive amount of research and scheduled a few appointments for this project. There was a plumbing issue underneath the house that led to the mold and need for a vapor barrier. I'm a licensed general contractor so I did all the plumbing work myself. Pablo handled the rest. He showed up for the initial appointment on time, he did a thorough inspection of the crawlspace and came out to give me a quote. The reason he got the job over everyone else was because of his pricing. He was very competitive. I was afraid that his low rates might come at a cost when it came to quality of work...this wasn't the case. His workers arrived on the scheduled date on time and took the same amount of time Pablo said they would need to complete the job. I checked to make sure that they did all the work listed in the quote. They held up their end of the deal. The guys cleaned up very nicely after it was done. Afterwards I went underneath to inspect. I could smell the disinfectant they sprayed and it was all encapsulated very nicely underneath (vapor barrier). The smell in the house was gone.
