I am impressed by the quality of service and expertise and honesty of every person we interacted with at his dealership. We were new to Indy and decided to get an Audi. We worked with Steve as the salesperson and he was so knowledgeable, even keeled, and honest with us from the get go. He was patient and worked with us negotiating the best deal which we thought was great for a 1 year old pre owned 2017 A4. He worked much later than regular hours to get us on our way. Now a year later, we are relocating and will be driving across country. We had 4 brand new tires placed a few days before leaving. When we picked up the car, the front tire blew half a mile from the dealership. We ended up getting the car back to the dealership at midnight, crossing our fingers they could fix it in time for our road trip the following day. Trey the service advisor was so professional and did some magic to make sure we got the 1 tire available in all of Indy to get on the road without too much of a delay. Although unfortunate and unlucky for what had happened, it was a blessing in disguise to have had it happen then and there instead of on the road half way across the country. I just purchased a 2016 Q5 3.0 from Audi Indianapolis and am very happy with the car and my experience. Greg assisted me with the sale and Andrew helped me with the finance paperwork. Both of them were super helpful in giving me options and educating me the car, warranty, and maintenance schedule. Neither of them pressured me at all into buying anything unlike other dealerships I visited in the past. After waiting on the phone 1 hour attempting to have someone in service take my call, i scrolled through the reviews and now understand why so many Audi car owner have given Indianapolis Audi q1 star for the review. As I am writing this review I am still waiting after my fourth attempt to have someone in service pick up. This is the first Audi I have owned and this dealership gives the brand a black eye. My car was a trade in Hyundai for an Audi; therefore, yes I bought the Hyundai off their lot. They should've thanked me for taking it off their precious lot. When you buy a car there you get three free oil changes. Today I got my last free one. Every time I take my Hyundai in there I get a billion hateful stares, comments, and questions about it not being an Audi. I wanted to express to you and your staff my gratitude for saving me from a very difficult situation last week. I flew to Ohio to pick up an A8 from a dealer there late Thursday afternoon. About 175 miles into an 1800 mile road trip back home, the idler pulley failed and the serpentine belt snapped about 10 miles east of Indianapolis. Since it was 10pm, I had to get some help to get the car to your dealership where I left it on your doorstep with a pleading note to help. The following morning, Andrew came to my rescue and was excellent throughout my experience. Your staff by the stroke of luck was able to overnight the part from Wisconsin, and Bryce and the Tech (I'm sorry I don't know his name), were able to get me back together on Saturday for a relatively uneventful drive back home. If your staff wasn't as professional and helpful as they were, I fear I would have been stranded there over the entire holiday weekend, or I would have had to fly back home and come back at a later time. They were outstanding. The only regret I have is that your dealership is too far from where I live to be my go to for your valuable service. However, if I ever find myself in Indianapolis; Audi Indianapolis has a lifelong customer. Thank you again, and please express my appreciate to your staff. UPDATE: 10/06/2016 Additional extenuating circumstances led to my reaching out to the General Manager of Audi Indianapolis for some help with a particular issue. The dealership certainly had no obligation to help me, but Rod Ingalls was absolutely gracious and understanding and helped me as much as I could ask for. My wife and I purchased a new Audi TT Quatro from the Tom Wood dealership. When we bought it we were told that the tires are "summer" tires. No worries because it was our intent to park the car in the winter any way. My wife is the primary driver of the car and she is not an aggressive driver. However the tires wore out completely in just 12,000 miles. Realize that a modern tire today should last approximately 50,000 mile. I'm at 64,000 on my new truck and the tires are fine. I called the salesman at Tom Wood with no satisfaction. I'm told that the tire warentee is only for manufacturing defects and there is not a mileage consideration. I also sent several emails to the sales manager and got no reply at all. The worst part is that I continue to get promotional emails from the Tom Wood dealership, sales manager as if I would be happy to repeat this miserable experience. It is frankly insulting! I have completely given up on the Tom Wood dealership and the Audi brand over what is ultimately a poor choice of tires for them to sell on a new vehicle. Don't let them do it to you. Mike read more

This was our first Audi experience, and it was great! The dealership sits back in Tom Wood's mecca of car businesses. We were greeted by Todd, who helped us through our car-buying journey. The dealership itself is gorgeous and open. It screamed luxury. We were offered something to drink at every turn and they made us feel comfortable. Purchased a car this past Fall, approx 6 months ago. My car died suddenly, so I had it towed to the Infinity dealership (we purchased an infinity from Audi). Infinity let us know that there was a pin hole in the oil filter that had enlarged over time, enough to drain oil and create metal shavings in the engine, thus nearly totaling the car. When Audi received the statement indicating what was wrong with the car, they told us to submit it for warranty, unfortunately, since this problem was due to a faulty service or oil change and the damage was made by a tool, it wasn't covered. Needless to say, we were sold a lemon. After some kurt interactions and no help at all, not even a rental....we have been carless for a month with no direction but, their advice, to submit to our insurance. We did not damage the car, we purchased the car damaged, yet Audi has taken no accountability. I have never in my life had the horrific level of service, especially after spending a good amount of money on a car, will be contacting the better business bureau as well as an attorney. read more

First off let me say how the sales department and the service department are like two different businesses because of how they are ran. I have been dealing with Audi for maybe five years absolutely love the brand currently own 2 but on my 4th paid in full at time of purchase however this particular dealership and their service department is extremely horrible. There is this one particular service representative that has never extended any extra effort when assisting me. what I found funny is I called and spoke to the service supervisor Abdullah and he told me to bring my car back and yet I still had to pay...hmmmm diagnose it and tell me exactly what was wrong which is part of the reason I took it there in the first place and however I never did receive that information on my original appointment date. However when I did take it back which was approximately a month or two later wouldn't you know he did not even wave the diagnosis fee to me any longer. What makes it so bad I explain to the service representative exactly what was going on with the car and I told him my extended warranty was about to expire that was on Friday, you know the same exact thing I told him was wrong with the car the light came on on my dash and it's only been two days! I'm extremely upset and my trust is extremely broken. I hate to say it but deep down I think somebody lie'n. Is this a black thing??? None of my white friends that own Audi has never experienced this low level service. Please someone let me know. What should I do now read more

Unfortunately, my wife and I both set up appointments to look at a vehicle and Notified the dealership we would be coming from over an hour away. The sales department doesn't seem to be able to coordinate things and scheduled someone else at the same time. They sold the vehicle to them. Wasted our time. Better communication and time management skills would have saved me 2 hours time and gas. Maybe I should send them a bill. read more

I've had an Audi for some time and this Tom Wood Audi location is not only luxurious, but does scream excellence in customer service. I have dealt with several service departments and I can say the gentlemen in this location are genuinely concerned for every individual. As for my salesman I deal with on a regular basis, he knows both Audi & Porsche inside out. I would recommend anyone to not only come to this new location, but also purchase an Audi, if they are able. They will not be sorry! Friendly staff with a clean, comfortable waiting area. Snacks, bottled water, and made to order coffee/espresso drinks are a nice touch. My only relevant complaint is that despite requesting text and email confirmations of my appointments, they have yet to do either. We've been bringing our vehicles (2) here for four years, so they've had ample chances. Driving cross country, hit a pothole which shredded my 2016 S5s right front tire. Took the car into Audi Indianapolis (10 min away) for help. The service dept was fully booked, but Thuan Phung (service advisor) fit me in to check the car. They didn't have my tire in stock but found one at a tire store nearby. Thuan set everything up at the tire store, and I was back on the road in a couple hours. I really appreciated the effort to help me out, even though this wasn't my home Audi dealership. read more

I bought my pre-owned Audi A4 last year from another import dealer, and had my first need for repair/service this week. Since my A4 is just out of warranty, I really debated about taking it to a private mechanic or to the dealer for service - I am SO GLAD I chose the dealership! It was a great experience. I rolled in a 4pm expecting to make an appt for the following morning. They listened to what was going on, took a quick look under the hood, and immediately said they would prefer to give me a loaner car (at no charge) than risk me driving a car that needs a repair. The next day, communication was quick & easy. An explanation of what was causing the coolant leak, an estimate, and "no rush" on me making a decision about whether I wanted to authorize them to do the work. They even helped me communicate with Audi USA about possible warranty coverage on the work. When I picked up my pretty little car, they explained every item on the service receipt. BONUS: the previous owner had an Audi Care Service Plan (I had no idea, they found that when they entered the VIN), and there was a remaining service to be done, so they completed that during the repair visit (saving me an extra trip for service). Darrick Thames was down-to-earth, polite, and made the entire experience stress free. There will be no question about where to take this little A4 the next time I need work done! I almost never write reviews, but feel compelled to share my experience. After researching online, I contacted the dealership about a used car and made an offer to purchase with "tax, title and fees included." The salesperson accepted my offer--I drove 100 miles, test drove the car and placed a $1,000 deposit down (it was the salesperson's day off). The next day, he contacts me to say "when I asked the internet manager about the [offer] he was under the impression it was plus tax etc... I am sorry he looked at the wrong stock number." Of course my offer referenced the VIN and stock number, and then I get multiple lame excuses. Will not be going back. read more

Tom Wood Audi, now known as Audi Indianapolis (probably because they needed to re-identify themselves due to all the bad reviews) is horrendous! They're sales department, Collision dept and their service department are awful. Most recently, I brought my car in for tires and oil change was told I needed 10 other things and felt pressure that those needed to be done. $3500 later they did a slew of work on my car that after a few days of research I didn't need. In addition, they charged 4x the going rate for tires! Deceptive is the best word to describe their service department! read more
