We recently got into a car accident that we were in need of replacing the vehicle that was totaled. My husband made the reservation to test drive in Audi. This was our first test drive in the whole car shopping process. Upon arrival, the team members knew exactly what we were here for and connected us with Jamie to help with the test drive. Jamie was very courteous and laid back. It was a lovely drive that we had . He had mentioned that he relocated back from Chicago to care for his parents. I love his demeanor- confident, comfortable and sophisticated. He followed up with us over emails while we were test driving elsewhere- Mercedes, BMW, Subaru. Even when Q3 did not really stand out amongst all the test drives we had afterwards, we still decided to give it another shot because Jamie left us with a great impression. My husband went for the second test drive. Being a geek, he was connected with Raquel to help him with technical questions. I decided to go for the third test drive myself just to be sure. Or I would so ditch the traditional cars and go for Tesla. End of the story. Raquel appeared to be rather logical, even temper and knowledgeable. We found out that she had been in the industry for 20 years and she truly had great insights to share. She was patient in answering my husband's technical questions and my financial questions. She made it so easy and friendly to understand. She could even whiteboard backwards! She helped us differentiate Audi experience from the rest of the brands so we bought in on the spot! Since it was my birthday, she gave us the all weather mats as birthday present. I thought that was super sweet! Jose from the service department helped us install them to eliminate the safety hazard. I am so glad we didn't install them on our end and end up getting trapped in them! The only part that was not so cool was we were done at 10am Saturday morning and we needed to be back to Oakland for a birthday ice cream social with friends at 2:30pm. We did not end up making it to the celebration because our finance paper was not ready.. and when I finally went in to talk to Melissa, the finance manager, she did not appear to be competent. She was cold and she simply wanted me to sign the piles of paper in front of me and get done with. She had no idea how those numbers come about on the forms and we had to bring in everyone to decode it. So we were finally done at 1pm! 3 hours just to get the finance straight.. not sure why it was that complicated. By then the banks were closed and our rental car place was closed as well. We could not get cashier check to pay for down payment. We could not return the rental car right away. We did not have lunch. We could not make it to the birthday get together. Raquel and Jose saved the day! Jose brought us lunch. That was super sweet! Raquel ended up driving 100 miles home to oakland with me to pick up the check for down payment. We are happy to join the Audi family. No one is perfect but this team is trying their best to help us out. We appreciate that and we love our new Audi Q3- Mr. Bai Poon! read more

Service dept - friendly, patient and very accommodating Within the first month - breaks started to make noise - horrible noise - I sent video to service manager and was told to come in They did their thing and basically told me that this is the norm for these type of brakes! I was told I need to re-Learn how to break!! The norm??? Why wasn't this information shared with me before I signed on the dotted line?? In all fairness - they did replace the brakes and guess what.......noise is still there!! Have had the car for over 2 months and I am a head turner when I come to a stop....not because I have a beautiful car but because the noise is soooo loud!! Both the general manager and service managers are very nice and both knew about this issue.... yet their salesperson didn't (at least he claimed he didn't) I have nothing negative about this place and the employees EXCEPT not being truthful about something that could have potentially cost them a sale!! Lesson learned and unfortunately will not be recommending this dealership ever! Had them detail my car (like new cars typically are) weeks after since I made the purchase later in the evening - half ass.....the sticky film that comes of the plastic when the cars on the trucks still on runs from bumper to bumper along time of car, no wiping down the dash or cup holders not even sure if they vacuumed! read more

This review has been a long time coming and is exceptionally late! Apologies to the fine folk at Audi, Modesto. I live way out in the mountains and it's a royal pain-in-the-butt to get to the nearest hospital for any ol' reason, but, after my wife found a lump in her breast, Wifey and I sped down to Modesto to get it checked out asap. Being as young as she is (still in her 30s!), we figured it couldn't be anything but a cyst, but, on this fateful day, we found out otherwise....and, as devastating as that was, we managed to have an even more messed up day by having the car conk out on us, requiring a 30-mile tow to...that's right, you guessed it, Audi Modesto. After calling the tow-truck, we called Audi Modesto to let them know they should be expecting us. As fortune would have it, on the other end of the line was HOPE! Seriously, after all of that, and just feeling like we were being kicked once we were down, the most delightful human-being we could ever *hope* to speak with picked up the phone and let us know that she would take care of everything, to not worry about getting to the hospital on time, she'd have another car waiting for us--and we actually made it to Wifey's appointment on time. By the time we were finished with the doctors, we made our way back to Audi Modesto and found that there were multiple issues with the car and they would need to keep it for up to a week. Not wanting to abandon our jobs (and our 3 cats) for the next week, we made plans to git ourselves back home. Not only did they comp the rental car, they actually had someone drive all the way up here to drop off my car--and pick up the rental--a week later, so we wouldn't have to waste a day on the following weekend to do that. Yeah, Audi Modesto is expensive, but, having bought a German car, we knew that expensive repairs were part of the deal. Even though there's numerous mechanics locally, we plan on driving down to Modesto in the future when anything else pops up. And again, special shout-out to Hope--once I met that voice on the other end of the line and spoke with her for a while, it was obvious that she is one of those special people who genuinely wants to help and will stop at nothing to get a job done--truly a wonderful person all around. read more

Nice building.. super helpful and friendly service department staff. The service manager left me feeling unsure of if my vehicle would be supported by Audi under warranty. I unfortunately have a Tdi left over from the diesel gate scandal. Although Audi promised that those vehicles would remain under warranty... the tree e is a difference between a new vehicle and how you are treated for warranty work and a Tdi vehicle by the service manager. I felt strongly enough to arrange for my vehicle to be towed to Livermore for service based on their policy and confidence that the work could be completed along with everything that comes along with normal warranty work I.e loaner and timely parts and warranty communication with Audi. I can't say that I am left feeling like Audi stands behind their products ( even after dieselgate). I can't recommend buying a vehicle like this while living in an area that doesn't support it. Purchased a new A5 Sportback the end of May. Love the car, but hate the dealership. In my 40+ years of buying cars, this is the worst buying experience I have ever had. My salesman was fine, but the finance guy, Cesar, was terrible. After two and a half months the registration has still not been submitted to the DMV. Now my insurance company is asking why and it is impossible to get any information from these people. Even left a message for the GM, Alfred Shahgholian, and he hasn't responded. Never buy from these people. Go somewhere else and save yourself time and frustration. read more

My husband and I have been scouring the difficult used car market for a car for our 16 year old daughter for some time. My husband found a car online at the Audi dealership. After being hesitant to go check it out for a few days we did. Nick, our salesman, was fantastic! He doesn't act like a car salesman at all, he was kind, down to earth, respectful, allowed us our time to talk. Overall the polar opposite of the used car salesmen we had encountered at other lots. I would take a 1/2 star away for the dealership. Because we wanted to pay cash and they wouldn't take a personal check, which on a labor day weekend made things pretty hectic with banks being closed. I understand it from a business perspective. But also know offending your customers by making them feel their money isn't good or they are dishonest isn't a great business practice either. Overall our experience was pleasant. Salesman in the car industry could take some pointers from Nick. If they did, the stigma and dreading of the car buying experience would significantly improve! Had an overall good experience at Modesto Audi. The only disappointing issue was "after" the deal was made, I was asked if I wanted to purchase the Audi Care package which would have been an additional $1200-1300. I felt like it was something that should have been discussed up front as I made it clear, I wanted my payments below a specified amount and it was obviously something I would have wanted. I chose not to purchase it. Nick was a great guy ... and did a wonderful job presenting the car and going over all of its functions. Hope was the employee I was working with and she was great! I drive a diesel Jaguar XF and my low fluid light came on. I mistakingly believed that I could only use the special def bottle that Jaguar sells in order to fill it. I stopped in at Audi Modesto to ask if they sold these specialized bottles. It was a Sunday so the service department was closed. I live in Henderson, NV, and had to go to Modesto for some family business. On my 2nd day there, my 2014 A4 started running very roughly, and luckily, Audi Modesto was only 3 miles away. Chris in service quickly handled my repair needs and arranged a loaner. He kept me updated and worked diligently with my outside warranty company to get the car back on the road. Unfortunately, the repairs would take longer than I anticipated being in CA. I had to get some things from my car the next day and that was when I met Floyd, one of the salesmen. I told him my story and that I might be buying a car if my A4 could not be repaired in time for me to head back south. Floyd was sympathetic and friendly, and he gave me his number just in case I did decide to buy a car. To make a short story long, I ended up deciding to buy another car and asked for an appraisal on mine. Floyd got it done right away and they offered me a very good trade-in value for my car. I worked with Floyd to purchase a used 2022 Q5. The whole process was seamless (even though my title was in NV, they worked with me to get it done)! Took a diagnostic test drive with the lead mechanic. Mechanic confirmed the vehicle has issues. The culprit appears to be bad "bushings". Team extraordinarily professional. Not going to rush the fix. Asked Audi to aggressively test drive the vehicle before releasing it again. Just want my 4.0T A8 to be delivered running as if new. Heads up!: If you own a beautiful A8, make sure you tell anyone wearing a diamond ring to be careful opening the door. The diamond will scratch the inside door handle! read more
