    Linguini al Limon
    Rick K.

Good visit with our brother and sister in-law to Augustine. My sister in-law selected Augustine as a go to restaurant since we were visiting from Oregon. I will say the Duck Confit Cannelloni is a bit misleading. I expected more Duck flavor as it was filled with cheese and spinach. My sister in-law loved her Branzino. Our daughter had the Crab Donuts and they were ok. My wife had the Linguine al Limon and loved it. The Basque Cheesecake was a hit. The most popular item on the table were the skinny french fries. They were incredible. Our server Chloe was very good, but overwhelmed. Not sure if they were busier than planned or just understaffed, but the corkage was waived due to the slower service. I love Santana Row, but not sure if I would revisit Augustine.

Augustine's coffee has quickly become one of my favorite spots for a grab-and-go coffee at Santana Row. I've tried both their double espresso and their iced coffee, and both were excellent. The coffee was smooth, flavorful, and exactly what I needed. What impressed me the most was how fast the service was. It was even quicker than Blue Bottle, without sacrificing quality. If you're looking for a great coffee on the go, this is definitely worth stopping by. The staff is very friendly as well. I'm so happy I found this place, and I'll definitely be coming back!

Great ambiance! Wasn't too busy on a Friday night, was glad for get in right away. The chicken and truffle fries were amazing. I wasn't a fan of my pasta even though it looked fantastic. I'd definitely come back.

I came here for a birthday brunch and it was a very pretty restaurant. It's located at Santana Row. When you get there, the restaurant is very pretty and aesthetic. There is seating inside and outside. The service was very attentive. We were a larger group so it took a while to get all of our food. When we got the food, it was not super hot but maybe because it was a large group. The food itself was good, but not super flavorful. The quiche was good, but the croque madame was better. I will say that the croque madame was a little hard to chew (I think the bread was overcooked). I think that it maybe was not the freshest because our group was large.

In the heart of Santana Row sits Augustine, easy to spot with its distinctive blue-and-white décor and inviting outdoor seating. Inside, the restaurant feels elegant and refined, while the patio offers a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere on a beautiful day. I've visited a few times now, and the food, service, and overall quality have been consistently excellent. This most recent visit was for Father's Day. I made a reservation about a month in advance, and we were able to secure an indoor table. Next time, I'll plan ahead for outdoor seating to better enjoy the California summer weather. I look forward to returning to try more items from the menu and for future special occasions.

    Oysters and Bloody Mary

Great restaurant with great food, and they have been playing the world cup, so all around the place to be especially this time of year. We enjoyed their oysters, which were the best quality that i have had in a while. We also had their bloody mary's which were so good that we just had to get two. The service is always great, and of course the restaurant offers a great place to enjoy the beautiful interior, and the lively outside seating. You really cant go wrong.

    Grilled Peaches and Stracchiatella Salad

I loved the food here! My husband and I came for dinner and ordered the Crab Donuts, Herbed Salmon a la Plancha, Grilled Peaches & Stracciatella Salad, Crushed Crispy Potatoes, and the Rigatoni Bolognese. Every dish was beautifully presented and had its own unique flavors. Crab Donuts- The crab filling was flavorful, and the light, golden donut created a nice contrast in texture with the creamy stuffing. Herbed Salmon a la Plancha- This was one of my favorite dishes. I loved the combination of the salty and tangy sauce, the zucchini, and the slight crispness of the salmon skin. Taking a bite together of the salmon, skin, zucchini, and sauce together was delicious. I was surprised. Grilled Peaches & Stracciatella Salad- This was refreshing. The juicy and sweet peaches went so well with the creamy stracciatella, while the arugula added a subtle peppery taste that balanced everything nicely. It almost acted as a palate cleanser for me. Crushed Crispy Potatoes- nicely crisp on the outside with the right amount of saltiness. Simple, but I just wanted to keep eating it. Rigatoni Bolognese - The pasta was cooked al dente and the rich meat sauce was full of flavor. I'd say this was a comforting dish with nice flavors from the meat sauce. The service was fantastic. Our waitress, Sierra, checked on us often, kept our water glasses filled, and cleared our plates promptly throughout the meal. As for the ambiance, we chose to sit indoors, which was quieter and more intimate than the lively outdoor patio. There was a soccer game going on, so the outdoor area had a fun and energetic atmosphere as guests ate and watched the game. Overall, we had a memorable dining experience at Augustine. I loved every dish we ordered, the service was excellent, and I'm already looking forward to coming back to try more of the menu.

IMHO This review is for the Augustine cafe right around the corner from Augustine, the restaurant in Santana Row. Baked goods look enticing and delicious! So far I've only enjoyed their cookies. Of course, I'll return! I'm a cookie-aholic!!!

FLAVOR (3/5): Decent food here but didn't blow me away for the price point. Lots of vegetarian and sharing options which was appreciated! INSTAGRAM WORTHY (4/5): Food presentation was not bad and the ambiance of the place was really what drew us in! In a great spot on the row with a good amount of outdoor seating. SERVICE (4/5): Servers came by often to check in and refilled out water cups for us frequently. TAKEAWAYS: Lots of options on the row so wouldn't necessarily be bookmarking this to come back but glad that I tried it! They also have a cafe option tucked away to the side that looks super cute!

I've always walked by Augustine but never got a chance to try it until recently when I had a team dinner. We got a private room for about 16 folks. We had a set menu for us that night consisting of - Garden Vegetable Salad - Salmon Tartare - Grilled Flat Iron Steak - Roasted Chicken - Crushed Crispy Potatoes - Warm Chocolate Chip Cookie My favorites of the night were the Salmon Tartare, Grilled flat iron steak, chicken, potatoes, and chocolate chip cookie. Both the steak and chicken were flavorful and saucy. The potatoes had a nice crunch and went well with the main course. I'm normally not a huge sweets person, but the chocolate chip cookie added a nice touch to the night. It was warm, crispy and chewy. The servers were attentive and friendly throughout the night.

Our server Chloe made excellent recommendations in enjoyed my drink and my salad. She warned me that this salad wasn't leafy so when it came out I wasn't surprised. I loved it. Great blend of flavors.

We celebrated Mother's Day at Augustine and had a great experience. Since we brought our dogs with us, we decided to sit outside, Our server even brought water out for the dogs. The outdoor ambiance was relaxing, and there was a live band playing nearby which made the whole experience even better. The food was also really good and everything we ordered was enjoyable.

    Cristal C.

Tried Augustine recently and honestly really enjoyed it. We ordered a bunch of things for the table, but the kettle chips and caviar dip was the standout for me. Sounds simple, but it was so good and one of those dishes you keep reaching back for. The restaurant itself has a really nice vibe. Classy but still comfortable. Service was great too. Everyone was friendly, checked in often, and the food came out at a good pace. Definitely a spot worth going back to.

I've been here multiple times, and every single time they make me wait, even when I have a reservation. Today was the final straw. I had a reservation, arrived on time, and was told that they had given my reserved table to someone else. What is the point of making a reservation if the restaurant doesn't honor it? There was no proper explanation, no accountability, and no consideration for my time. This is completely unacceptable customer service. If you cannot honor reservations, don't take them. Customers deserve better than being made to wait and then being told their table was given away. I will definitely not be coming back, and I would strongly recommend avoiding this place if you value your time and expect your reservation to actually be honored.

The kitchen is open and you can appreciate the chefs working on their open wood fired grills and pizza ovens, which imparts a faint, woody, aromatic fragrance in the restaurant. The staff is polite and courteous. They left a signed note on the table for my husband's birthday which was a sweet gesture. For the drinks, we started with the jean claude pandan, pandan being the my husband's current favorite ingredient in food and drinks. I had the drink with dill, which the server warned me about being centered around the flavor of pickles (which I am personally fond of). The pandan drink was a light and refreshing highball and I found the dill cocktail to be creamy and delicious, but didn't really leave me with a sour aftertaste. For food, we went with the drip trio platter which came with fresh pita bread pieces, and the drip trio of hummus with roe on top, chilled tzatziki, and muhammara. Then we moved on to the oysters which were fresh, will a dressing of an herb oil of some sort. They also had a complementary palette cleanser in between which was a shot of watermelon and orange juice. For maincourse, my husband went for the tagliatelle and I chose the ravioli, both choices were corroborated by our server to be the right ones to go for. The tagliatelle is expensive because of the lobster and caviar that it comes with. However, the pasta is delicious and comes in a decadent sauce. Not a lot of lobster pieces though. The ravioli had a robust mushroom flavor and came with a light sauce of mushrooms, crispy fried shallots, and pine nuts. We skipped dessert because we were pretty full already. Would definitely recommend this place for a cozy dinner out but it's quite expensive so might not be a place to go to frequently.
