Mango Pomelo Sago & Taro Boba Fresh Milk Tea (oat milk substitute)
    Jin P.

This was our first time trying Auntea Jenny and my husband and I both enjoyed our drinks. Ordering is done on the kiosks up front. We were comparing these two drinks to the ones we tried at TeaByDo because they are very similar. However, we both thought that the Auntea Jenny mango drink was better since it had higher mango content. It tastes like an actual fruit smoothie. I was actually getting grapefruit pieces. The taro boba drink also tasted much better than the TeaByDo taro ball drink which we didn't like because it didn't taste balanced at their recommended 70% sweetness level. The taro in Auntea Jenny drink is a thick paste and the sweetness was balanced. The boba was really nice and chewy. The only negative thing I can say is that if you are lactose intolerant, most of their fresh milk teas do not have a substitution option. The taro milk tea was the only one we could see that had an oat milk substition. Will definitely be back to try the other drinks!

Good quality tea/boba drinks. I've tried the grape crush drink, mango pomelo sago and strawberry daifuku. It's a smaller shop with maybe 5 tables of two for seating

First time orders through the app yields you a $2 coupon, which is the welcome gift. That wording was so confusing because they made it sound like there's some extra gift but The $2 off is the gift lol. Despite a huge parking lot, parking can still be a challenge, but better than many. The jasmine milk tea is probably my favorite. I'd put this at the A tier for milk tea. The ambience is chill, you can sit while you wait for your order. The service was decent. I would def come back.

Sweet Corn Latte and Mango Pomelo Sago

We were there around 3 during a week day and the order took about 25 minutes. The Sweet Corn Latte tasted mostly like milk, but the Mango Pamelo was delicious. We'll go back for that, and will try other flavors.

I think I came at a really good time, since I didn't really have a wait :o the service was quite fast, and I feel like I got my drinks within 5 minutes of placing. Parking was easy, as it's a large plaza. There isn't much seating though, but the inside was clean and organized. For the drinks, we got the classic mango pomelo sago, strawberry jasmine fresh milk tea, premium jasmine tea latte. I think the mango pomelo sago was solid! The strawberry jasmine... was a bit odd.. unfortunately, I think it tasted a bit too artificial for me. The premium jasmine tea latte was also quite good! The size was better than some other chains as well :) The service was wonderful, despite it being busy. I'd come back to try other drinks.

This is my new favorite boba spot! The drinks have so many toppings and textures, and the quality of the tea, matcha and toppings is great Matcha: t is incredibly rich and authentic with that perfect bitter bite. I definitely would not go below 50% sweetness unless you want a very intense, unsweetened matcha flavor. The Berry Health Drink: A major standout. It comes with popping boba and is the ultimate crisp, refreshing fruit drink for a warm day. The one down side is parking is tough. It shares a busy lot with Tokyo Central, so finding a space can chaotic Would also recommend ordering on the app or u will be waiting 20-30+ minutes!

I found out about Auntea Jenny from a Yelp elite event, and I have fallen in love ever since. Their matcha with boba is, so far, my favorite drink, and matcha is normally not my favorite, so that says a lot! It's easy to order online. My pickup was ready way earlier than what it initially said on the text. The workers are friendly and say, "Welcome!" when you walk in, so make sure you say hi back when you walk in. (That is such a pet peeve of mine when people don't respond to greetings. Food service workers are people too.) The place is temperature cool and cute. There is even a bidet in the restroom. There are cute little tables, music playing, etc. It's next to Tokyo Central with Mitsuwa and Daiso and lots of fan-favorite restaurants nearby. Irvine has a lot of delicious tea spots, and I put them towards the top. I highly recommend!

My friend brought me to Heritage Plaza to try Auntea Jenny during my visit back to SoCal. This place was popping on a Friday night with a lot of the younger crowd out for some late night revving and tea, the classic Irvine experience. We found out it was a 40 minute wait at around 9pm. Since we had time to kill, we were fine waiting. My friend ordered the mango coconut sago, and I opted for the jasmine lemon tea. We browsed Tokyo Central while we waited and eventually wandered back when my friend received the text that the drinks were ready. The drinks were sooooo good! I'm not easily impressed, but both drinks (we tried each other's) were some of the best of each flavor I've ever had. I've found that mango sago tends to be too icy at most places, and boba shops often mess up the balance of the jasmine lemon tea but not this place. Both drinks were executed perfectly. Worth the wait? Yep definitely for a chill Friday night. If you don't have as much time though, it's probably better to schedule an advance order for pick-up via the app.

Ordered the Mango Pomelo Sago, Matcha Daifuku Cheese Foam, and Six-Berry Glow Pearl Boba Boost Tea. All of them tasted great and I would recommend depending on what you're in the mood for. I actually prefer the Mango Pomelo Sago here compared to the competitors like heytea. Although ordering is fast, their service is slow and seems disorganized so expect a wait after ordering your drinks. Ordering online doesn't seem to make it any faster either. Otherwise, it's clean inside and they have been running frequent BOGO deals or free merch which is nice! Would definitely recommend coming here to get your boba fix and try something new

Came here for the Yelp Elite experience, shout out to Dia for putting this together! Auntea Jenny is located next to the Tokyo Central grocery store. It gets very busy so I had to wait quite a bit for my drink but service is friendly and the area is clean despite how busy it is. I ordered the mango sago, the kale apple chia juice, and the matcha boba. All three drinks were tasty! My favorite was the mango sago. It felt like I was on a tropical island on vacation. The mango and coconut paired so well together. The kale juice was sweetened nicely with the apple. I enjoyed my 3 drinks and would come again!

Auntea Jenny's Mango Pomelo Sago is honestly better than Hey Tea's Mango Boom... I said what I said The mango flavor was so good and refreshing! We also tried the Signature Red Glutinous Sticky Rice Milk Tea and Da Hong Pao Cheese Foam, and both were must-tries fr. Everything we ordered tasted really good and had strong, unique flavors. The only reason I'm taking off one star is because the wait was pretty long. We went on a Wednesday and waited about 25 minutes for 3 drinks, which felt like forever. But taste-wise? Definitely worth trying!

We tried Auntea Jenny for the first time yesterday. We're boba/milk tea/fruity tea/coffee/matcha enthusiasts and like to venture out and explore new places. The boba baristas were friendly and had positive attitudes. I was helped as soon as I got to the counter. It was a busy Thursday evening. People were coming and going. The place is compact, but they make the space work. I like their decor. Pro tip: Download the app and order online. It saves time and you get rewards. It said my order was going to take 35 minutes, but it was ready sooner than that. Mango Coconut Sago My husband got this drink and he liked it. It's similar to the Mango Coconut Boom at HeyTea. He preferred the Hey Tea version though. Kale Apple Fiber Chia Seed Boost Tea This caught my attention because I've never seen a Superfood section in a speciality drink place. It was refreshing and healthy. Premium Matcha Daifuku Cheese Foam I usually prefer matcha plain and tried it with the cheese foam since it was a popular option. You can taste the finely ground premium matcha and high quality of it. It was smooth and creamy. Unfortunately, I wasn't really a fan of the cheese foam. It was too thick and kept getting stuck in my straw.

A good place for teas and drinks, but it's not worth more than a 10 minute wait. The parking lot can get very crowded at times, but we were able to find a spot nearby. There's very limited seating inside and the location can get very busy. I ordered the drinks online at 8:11pm and the pick up time was listed as 8:46pm. I arrived at 8:46pm and my ticket number was still listed as "preparing" on their screens at that time. We kept checking their screens and the link that we were provided, but it just stayed on the preparing screen. At 9:40pm, my ticket number disappeared from the display screens and it was not on the preparing or ready list. I went inside to ask about what happened and my drinks happened to be ready. I think there's a little bit of a disconnect with their online ordering system because my order still showed up as "preparing" even after 11:00pm. The drinks both looked and tasted good. The flavors were strong and were of very good quality. I would go back if there were a shorter wait time or once their ordering system is more organized. However, with the amount of other boba and tea shops in Irvine, I'd rather save my time and go to another location rather than wait an hour and a half for drinks.

There seems to always be a line here so be aware! We got there after lunch around 1pm and the line was about 10-15minutes reaching two doors down. The HOT item that always sells out daily is the sea salt bread. They will sell out within a few hours of opening so its only a morning item! Also note this place is cashless so card only! Our favorite items here are the: Banana Matcha: This is there matcha latte with oat milk and banana cream on top with fresh sliced bananas and toffee bits. Yes definitely get it less sweet for the perfect ratio! Its like a banana toffee flavor with that rich matcha on the bottom so good in this summer heat! Black Sesame match: this is my usual go to since its a more light drink with there signature matcha latte topped with black sesame cream. Its very light for someone just looking for a easy to drink light matcha but don't want a plain drink. Matcha Two: Matcha latte with salted matcha cream and vanilla syrup. This i would say is there signature matcha drink if you are a first timer and want to try there matcha without all the other flavors. Its got a good balanced matcha blended with the hint on vanilla sweetness. The servers are super friendly and helpful here since they make every cup of matcha by hand so there's a long table of workers hand mixing matcha but the line moves fairly quickly. You order directly at the bar so you can ask questions or customize if you wish. I usually get less sweet, less ice or even no ice. They personally hand you every order by name which is a great touch. Overall, a great local matcha shop they we will definitely be back again to try other items especially that salted bread that always sells out!

Think fashionable design meets European charm for the interior atmosphere, right down to the plates. Morning Lavender offers table seating as well as booths and can accommodate large parties for events. Now for the good stuff- let's talk an Iced Mocha with extra chocolate and an Iced Chai Tea Latte with Banana Cream Foam. The Mocha with extra chocolate was indulgent and velvety with the espresso seamlessly intertwined. A decadent treat to enjoy as the morning started to warm up into the afternoon. Just a suggestion for those who enjoy the richer side of coffee and espresso. A dash of a bit more cream would've added that refined richness. The star of the morning was definitely the Iced Chia Tea Latte with Banana Cream Foam. The description of cold cream hardly captures and embodies what this Banana Cold Foam really is. Think lusciously thick banana smoothie topping off your drink. Impossibly creamy and bursting with ripe banana. Crowning the drink sat a slice of banana bathed on one side in a caramelized sauce similar to crème brûlée. Crunchy peanuts generously scattered on top, making an irresistible contrast in texture. Overall, we had an enjoyable afternoon, as the overall aesthetic is delightful and having the boutique connected adds such a fun element to the visit. We really enjoyed browsing the selection of clothes, candles, jewelry, and painting books. As for the tea and food, the warm scones and tea were lovely highlights, the smoked salmon sandwich was exceptionally yummy, and the rose macaron stood out with its fragrant flavor. However, there were a few areas where the experience fell short of expectations. While the smoked salmon was great, the chicken sandwich was difficult to chew due to too many nerves and the mini donuts felt a bit stale. We also noticed a few maintenance issues, including a visibly dirty/stained booth seat and a teacup given to one of our guests that was broken on the bottom. Service was another area that could use some improvement. For a party of six, the staff felt somewhat inattentive, leaving several people at our table waiting for long periods to get hot water refills. This unfortunately hindered the amount of tea we were able to enjoy during our visit. Morning Lavender has wonderful potential with its beautiful environment and delicious flavors, but with a bit more proactive service and attention to detail, the experience could be truly exceptional.
