They have the most tender and juicy chicken paired with the warm and slightly chewy yet crispy soft corn tortillas. I mean wow. I'm from the Chicagoland area and I'd say I've been fortunate enough to have amazing Mexican food. But this place ranks one of the highest in my book. And it's in central fricken INDIANA??? Idc. Absolutely the best place in town. Period. Not to mention the service is perfect. The team there is always greeting you with a smile, and it seems they really remember their customers and people. Gotta love that kind of hospitality in a town that notoriously lacks good service. These guys truly know how to go the extra mile and make your week UPDATE: I tried their flaming hot Cheeto birria bombs two days ago and I haven't been able to stop thinking about them. They were the most perfect texture of crunch to birria Mac and cheese ratio. One of my new favorite foods, which is wild because I've never been a fan of Mac and cheese bites. These are just. Unreal

Their soft serve ice cream is nothing short of amazing, and the fresh, cooked-to-order hamburgers are a perfect savory counterpart; the barbecue burger, in particular, is an absolute must-try. My wife raves about their frozen treats, expertly blending soft serve with cookie dough and M&M's. It's clear this place is a gem when both loyal locals and curious tourists consistently flock here. The building itself, an iconic fixture in Lafayette since the 1960s, holds a rich history as one of the area's first drive-ins, adding an extra layer of nostalgia to every delicious bite. Despite the consistently long wait of about 15 minutes, the efficient service, rated 8/10, keeps things moving, ensuring you get your treats swiftly. Parking is surprisingly easy, a huge plus for a popular spot. While the energetic atmosphere (9/10) is undeniable, it's worth noting that Budges doesn't cater specifically to young children, lacking highchairs and perhaps better suited for older kids or adults looking for a classic drive-in experience. I will be back!

I bring all my out of town visitors here and everyone loves it. Such a great spot and when the weather is good, you can enjoy your food or ice cream at a picnic table, in your car, or sitting nearby. Don't forget to ask for their frequent buyer card and get little stamps for opportunities at free items!

They didn't put in the extra cup of cheese we ordered so we had to go inside to grab it. Get home and come to find out they didn't put bacon on my husband's sandwich even though it was on the receipt. That stinks because it costs extra. The WORST part, is that my husband and I both got sudden GI tract discomfort and urgent diarrhea a little while after eating. Close to the same time. Seeing as how neither of us ate the same thing for 2 days prior, it had to be Culver's. Today both of our stomachs are slightly irritated and gurgling. I love Culver's, but now I don't trust you for anything. Update: it has been a week since I contacted the company directly. I specifically requested they contact me. I have not received any contact from them. Either they have A LOT of complaints or they just don't care that they gave my husband and me food poisoning. Their reply to my review is worthless. Do NOT go to this Culver's Update 2: I was contacted by some sort of manager. She basically said since she hasn't had any other complaints, too bad so sad. Wasn't expecting to be treated like a liar. You just lost a loyal customer. Please read all: My husband and I went through drive through. The person taking our order was nice and put in everything correctly. We wait for our food. Had a rootbeer float; I've had better but it'd been a long time since I even tried one, anywhere, as I'm a low-carb sort. It was OK, nothing special. Prices were OK. The cashier staff weren't great communicators, but we got the job done. The place was very clean. Strange music, a very wide variety of songs played while we were there. I wonder who picks this stuff. Overall, good. Not stellar, mind-boggling, just a good meal.
