They have a solid selection of house brewed beers, so it's fun trying a few different ones depending on what you like. The beer tasted fresh and well made. The food was also really good and went well with the drinks. The menu has a good variety of options and everything we ordered came out hot and flavorful. The atmosphere is relaxed and it's a nice place to hang out with friends for a meal or just grab a drink. The staff were friendly and the service was quick even though the place was a little busy. Overall it's a great brewery restaurant and definitely somewhere I'd come back to again.

The first five minutes of the dinner were pleasant with instructions to order via QR code (no problem). However the issues with service were apparent immediately. Orders were placed for refreshments, appetizers, waters, etc. Within 20 mins food began to be delivered with no names/descriptions of the beverage or plate being delivered. Our group was left navigating who ordered what and determine what beer was what and finding the correct owner. Dinner plates delivered no place settings at the table, no condiments (ketchup) and no drinks for more than half of the table. That lefts us going to the bar to retrieve our own cutlery.... Going to the bar to request our waters and our sodas... even after three attempts to ask for our drinks (water, lemonade, soda) the drinks weren't brought out. Many members of our party had their dinner with NO refreshments. We actually ended up serving ourselves our drinks from a dispenser located outside... we also ended up refilling our own drinks Our water was finally brought out at the end of dinner.. It was the worst service I have EVER had. What a shame.

The Truffle Fries are delicious, and the Tater Tot Poutine is my favorite!!! Pretty much everything on their menu hits well with my family! My family and I, as well as our friends, really enjoy this place, especially for a family night out. The outdoor ambiance is great and the atmosphere is always welcoming. The staff is great, so friendly and knowledgeable with their selection of beer! What really makes it special is how much fun everyone has, kids and adults. The arcade games bring out that nostalgic, playful side, and it's impossible not to get competitive in the best way. The kids have a blast, and the grown‑ups end up right there with them, laughing and enjoying themselves. It's one of those rare spots where you can relax, eat well, have a drink, and still feel like you're part of the fun. 8 Bit is definitely a go‑to for us when we want something easy, entertaining, and family‑friendly. Give them a try I bet you'll have fun!

I was with a big group and I have to say that our server was exceptional. There were 12 of us and she handled it like a trooper! I should have asked for her name so that I could give her a personal mention. The service was amazing and the food came out nice and hot. I didn't care for the chicken tortilla soup so I opted to get the chili in place of the soup that I couldn't eat. Chili was good with a noticeable beer flavor. The salads were great. I had a caesar and then I had the tomato mozzarella salad. Both were delicious but the tomato mozzarella salad was over the top. It was simple and flavorful with bocconcini, diced tomatoes and arugula with a balsamic vinegar dressing. Everybody enjoyed the clam chowder. The pizza's looked really good. One person in our group needs to be gluten-free and her pizza came out twice the size of a regular personal pizza! It was very impressive. One person shared her fries with me and they were very good. Based on the service alone I will start going back here. I would really like to just order some appetizers next time and share. I remember how good the avocado egg rolls were.

We had an Open Table reservation for 7 at 9:15pm, didn't get seated until 10:00pm! Checked numerous times and attitude & demeanor of young high school/college aged female employees was off-putting. Not only that, silverware rolled in black napkins had fallen on the floor, and one of the female workers picked the fallen forks & knife up and re-rolled it nicely in the napkin and my wife pointed this out to hostesses. They claimed that they weren't going to place it back to be given to a customer. Buy why would you re-roll it neatly if you're going to place them with the dirty utensils. We felt it would've been re-used had we not said anything to them. Honestly, we don't think it makes any difference making a reservation here versus walking in without one as we waited 45 minutes for a table. We almost regretted dining here as 6 of us were driving back to San Diego afterwards, and 1 of us was driving back to South Pasadena. Now the positive. Our server, night manager, and food ordered made up for the evening. The boneless wings ordered was served cold, but it was re-done and served hot like it should have been. The manager had comp'd a free large pizookie dessert for the inconvenience. The other food ($13 pizookie deep dish pizza & salad combos) and a shrimp entree, and their avocado egg rolls were very good and well priced! We don't know if we'll ever come back here, we may try other alternatives for late night dining, especially if they can't get their reservation logistics and hostess customer service in order! They're in great need to being re-trained and told they need to place themselves in the shoes of their patrons. How would they want their family members treated if they were dining at BJ's? Anyway, huge kudos to our server and the manager who salvaged what would've been one star review scores across the board.

As for me, I enjoy the taste of a good IPA. But wouldn't you know, I only chose one IPA in my beer flight. Everything else was a fruity beer or sour beer, and if I had to do it all over again, I would have went with a flight of all IPAs and hazies. They also serve very light beers with ABVs of 3% and 4%, when you want something to sip that won't get you drunk (like, at all). Solaris is a brewery only, and they don't serve any food. But you can bring food in with you! When I visited with my sisters, it was improv night, so there were people doing standup on the stage. We felt more in the mood to commiserate over childhood trauma and less like chuckling, so we moved outside to the tables on the shaded patio. It was nice to sit amongst the twinkle lights in the evening and drink our beer flights.

I personally like mead more than wine, and upon my visit to Temecula, I was excited to be able to try this place! We came in during a lull, and the owner Derek was there to personally serve us. He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly an excellent maker of mead. He even has a variety of fun events you can sign up for like Viking nights where they have axe throwing and turkey legs, as well as Mead-Making classes with the man himself. We went with two of the flights: the new seasonal flavors and the classics. I was a big fan of the seasonal flavors, they were sweet and crisp, and the different fruit flavors really shone through. I liked the Thor's Courage the best of the classics flight, it was a sparkling mead that tasted the most like just classic honey mead. We asked for a recommendation based on our likes, and he offered us a glass of the Golden Butter Bee Mead, and it tasted as good as it sounded. It kinda was what I think Butterbeer should taste like. We ended up taking a bottle home. He also shared with us that he started his company in 2019, right before the pandemic, and he was able to survive by using his own truck to deliver mead all over the country. If that isn't a testament to his dedication to the craft and the quality of the mead, I'm not sure what is. Will definitely be back when I'm by Temecula, and I want to try to make one of the events sometime soon!

I could not have been more happy to have had the chance to come here! Derek is extremely friendly, and Batch Mead hosts multiple monthly events from their viking nights to their mead making courses; he is so incredibly knowledgeable in his craft, it is delightful to just sit and take the time to listen to him talk about his passion. Built into an industrial park (like many breweries today), the decor was incredibly tasteful and I really appreciated what he was able to do with the space to make it warm and welcoming, down to the glasses he used to serve the drinks. Now to the Mead itself, we ordered two taster flights as well as a glass of the Golden Butter Mead. To sum up my feelings about the entire ensemble, absolute perfection! Of all the mead I have had (which is a surprisingly large amount), Batch Mead blew my mind. If I was ever to try and describe what good mead should be, Derek's would be what I was describing to a tea. They ranged from semi-sweet to very sweet, but were all absolutely amazing and worth the drive up to Temecula alone. I will not only be returning, but this will likely become a staple in my drinking rotation!
